A Short History of Cilicia
Edit
Cilicia, another one of the Anatolian Provinces of Rome, resides in what is now Southeastern Turkey. It was closely connected with the Parthican Provinces and benefitted greatly from the spread of their knowledge and wealth. Cilicians were some of the most distinct of the peoples of the Anatolian Peninsula. Their Luvian culture and language, similar to the Hittite Language, made it very different from the more Greccian influenced Provinces in that region such as Bythinia et Pontus.
