Chaudaism is a syncretic religion that recently emerged in Ethiopia in 1883. Blending Christianity and Hinduism, Chaudaism teaches the belief that Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer, also known as the Trimurti, or the three supreme gods of Hinduism, are different forms of God, Jesus Christ and Satan the Devil. It's been widely accepted by the Ethiopians and recently, the Orissans, as the true religion of their people given the belief's ease of understanding and acceptance. Many concepts from the two religions that preceded it have been adopted by Chaudaism, as well as many of their symbols, dress codes and doctrines.
