The Cascadian War of Liberation (1990-1999) was an armed conflict between present-day Cascadia, and troops from the United States and Canada. The war lasted almost a decade before peace was declared as a result of urging from the UN. In exchange for recognition as their own nation, Cascadia retained control of Oregon, Washington and part of British Columbia.
