The California Republic Military dates back to the beginning of the California War for Independence. The "army" lost many of its troops, but it paid off when America was defeated in the independence. The California Military uses a lot of the old military bases from the US Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force; as well as the Coast Guard. The equipment provided to the military is built from the old Boeing Plant in Washington and an arms factory in the middle of the Mojave Desert.

California's Navy is currently deployed around the world with the 1st Fleet in Russia, the 2nd Fleet in California and the 3rd Fleet in the middle of the Gulf of Aden. The 3rd Fleet was supported by the Soviet Navy and the Royal Navy in the war against piracy.
