Burgundy, officially the Kingdom of Burgundy, is a sovereign nation in Western Europe. It is one of the most densely populated countries in the world. Burgundy is often called Belgia or Belgium, after the central province of the country of the same name, though this is discouraged by academia. Burgundy is located south of the Norse Empire, west of Germania, Switzerland and Italia and north of Spain.
