Robert Laurence "Bob" Barr, Jr. (born November 5, 1948) is a former national prosecutor, member of the Confederate House of Representatives, and 23rd President of the Confederate States of America.
Although he was selected as the nation's first Libertarian president, this is more reflective of a name change rather than a political realignment; his policies of limited government and strict constitutionalism were in line with many other Confederate presidents who had run as Confederalists in previous years.
