While Germany and Romania continue to conquer most of North Italy, Hitler orders Bulgaria to take over San Marino. This would be a key victory for the Axis. Ivankov orders the first wave of Bulgarian troops into Falciano, where they catch the Italian Army off guard. Falciano is conquered. Then, Ivankov orders Bulgarian troops into Serravalle where they meet an overwhelming Italian Army and Ivankov orders a retreat back to Falciano. Ivankov has a new plan, try to maneuver around Serravalle and into Domagnano, where he hopes the Italians won't be as strong. The maneuver is successful but to Ivankov's surprise the Italian Army was there waiting for them.
Ivankov orders another retreat back to Falciano where he is greeted by more Italian soldiers. Bulgaria had lost. San Marino remains a part of Italy.
