The Battle of Quebec City occurred on May 2 of 1809 and was the final major battle on the North American Front of the First Global War and led to the fall of British Canada to the United States.

The battle was both a strategic and political victory for the US, and proved that the US Army can combat the British Army, and gained an major political victory for President James Madison. The battle was also the first time an amphibious warship was used in combat, and proved its usefullness for the US Army and Navy.
