Balthild (August 22, 1359 - July 17, 1409) was Queen regnant of Englaland, Duchess of Angoulême, Duchess of Brabant, and Countess of Flanders and of Holland. Her ascension of the throne was heavily contested in a civil war, The Cousins' Revolt, which lasted from 1400 to 1406. Balthild emerged victorious and ruled her realm peacefully until her death three years later.
