The Austrian-Seljuk War took place during the years 1505-09. The Rum-Seljuks invaded Austria, took its capital Vienna, restricted the duke Ottokar III to mountainous Styria and Carinthia. Following that, they also defeated the Bavarian army, taking Salzburg and Bavaria east of the Inn river. Among the fallen was also the former, now titular king of Naples, Charles / Carlo V.
