Gun at Fort Nepean

The Australian Revolt (1913 - 1915) or Australian War of Independence began as a war between the Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and the Commonwealth of Australia, a dominion of the British Empire .

The Australian Revolution started when people began protesting over Australian soldiers being sent to die in a war in Europe. Following a series of riots and protests in Melbourne, which were becoming increasingly violent, a well known man Hernand Morales made a speech during a protest in Melbourne and was shot a by a soldier (the military had been called in to restore public order) he still survied. Still the protesters were incredibly angry at what had happened. They turned on the soldiers, wrestled them to the ground, wrestled their weapons from them, attacked them with stones and, sticks the soldiers' own rifles and bayonets. This peaceful protest erupted into an urban battle, leading to a revolution in Australia which sparked revolutions in India, Canada and Rhodesia.and pandas are awsome!!!
