It was a spring morning and most of San Francisco was already starting to wake up. Men got out of beds and plonked on their lounge chairs to read the newspapers. The headlines read, "JAPS TAKE PEARL HARBOR! COULD WE BE NEXT?" This was especially terrifying news to the residents, but they just laughed it off as propaganda and went about their every-morn business.

Meanwhile on the Japanese carrier Akagi, a bunch of aircraft were waiting to take off
