Many mulatos and Afro-Brazilians take up arms to support the popular royalist forces. - UK Dip: We accept.
- Chinese Dip: We agree to give Japan a great trade agreement.
UK: We invade the Boer States. We send more aid to Mexico.
Russia: The Russian peasantry, though free from serfdom, withers under the harsh, authoritarian rule of Tsar Alexander III. Slowly but surely, however, industrialization and urbanization begin to take hold, although nowhere near the levels of the rest of Europe. Tsarist policy denounces the ways of the West, such as democracy, personal freedom, and free market capitalism as intrinsically harmful. Marxism becomes increasingly popular as the urban working class grows.
- UK Diplomacy: We ask for an alliance with Mexico.
- Mexico Diplomacy: We accept.

These drills take place in the South China Sea near Taiwan and off the coast of the Korean peninsula. To alleviate drought and famine food aid is sent to Korea with thousands of immigrant Japanese. Japanese army units are reported but not confirmed on Korea. Japanese naval forces near Taiwan are reported doing something unseen and they began moving full steam for the nearest large Chinese city. Japanese forces are spotted in Manchuria escorting a diplomat out of Manchuria and securing population centers in the south.
- Japanese Dip: The emperor accepts to a meeting over the disputed Manchuria. The Emperor extends a diplomatic advance to Germany. Manufactured goods for resources and precious gems from Africa.
- (um -- quick thing you realize Korea and Taiwan remain Chinese areas of influence right.Nk It wasn't until the Sino-Japanese war that that changed. (sub-note: there are not many other places to practice drills).
- Russian Dip: Japan, please see 'Russo-Japanese Summit' on the talk page.
Brazil: As the war continues due to a stunning victory near Sao Paulo the republican forces are forced to retreat from most of the coastline but they still hold strong near the Uruguayan border and deep in the Brazilian hinterland. The native population remains strongly against the republican forces occupying the region and mild armed resistance is presented against them, the results are several massacres carried out by republican forces, The Monarchists now in complete control of the Capital set about restoring order to the region and returning power to the parliament and to Emperor Dom Pedro who due to increasingly ailing health remains in seclusion while his daughter Crowned Princess Isabel renounces the rights to the throne due to strong Paternalistic tendencies in the country and due to the fear of the government that her husband would be the real power behind the throne, in Her stead the Parliament elects her son Pedro de Alcantara as the new Regent to the Throne of Sao Paulo elevating him to the position of Heir Apparent to the throne as well upon the coming death of Dom Pedro II. With the succession to the throne now secured and with no controversy, a lot of the previously neutral parties in the civil war go over to the Monarchist side. despite the continued strife in the country the government returns to the promotion of industrialization of the country finding ways to funnel some minor funds into the project and continued invitation of foreign investment into the country, promising that stability is returning slowly to the country.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. Machine guns are implemented and coastal defences strengthened. Half of the navy is deployed near Taiwan, while the remaining half is deployed in the Yellow Sea. More cruisers are pumped out of the ship factories, copied from foreign ones seen by the students sent to America in 1875. Chinese rifles and cannons are tested and tried, while a three-point aiming system is implemented in the Chinese navy. With Cixi's death, Emperor Guangxu was able to spend the money previously used to rebuild Yuan Ming Yuan to buying naval cruisers and destroyers from England, France and Germany. Lee Hong Zhan is appointed as the Secretary of Foreign Relations, Zhou Zongtan as Secretary of Defense and Kang You Wei as Secretary of Industrialisation and Modernisation. Another new department in the government begins, the Department of Industrialisation and Modernisation. More Chinese textile mills, powered by water is built, especially near the Amur river, Yellow River and Yangtze River. The civil examination system reform continues. Asks Japan to peacefully withdraw their troops from Korea, Manchuria and Taiwan, but agrees that it is fine to patrol near Korea and Taiwan, so long as the ships are at least 100 km from major cities or the shore. The Beijing University and TsingHwa University, in Shanghai are built and begin educating professionals and experts for China. Asks for a meeting with Japanese leaders in Hangchen (OTL Seoul). The meeting will be posted in talk named the Sino-Japanese Summit.
Mexico: We build up our military and continue modernization. We also sign an alliance with Spain and offer one to Japan and Brazil's Royalist forces.
Japan: An estimated 120,000 and counting soldiers are reported in Korea stemming from recent immigrants and troop landings. Ports in the south are secured as more forces land in the north securing the Yalu river and cutting all Mainland Chinese access to Korea. Within two weeks almost 200,000 well armed Japanese soldiers are in Korea. They begin conflict with local Chinese soldiers surrounding many in cities and using artillery to bomb a surrounded Seoul. Japanese North Sea fleet reinforces the Yellow Sea fleet backing Chinese naval forces against a wall in Korea as the Japanese southern fleet is reinforced from forces in Okinawa. The combined fleets in the south attack Chinese forces from the north and south as landing ships begin supporting a popular uprising in China as the naval battle is conducted in sight of a city in Taiwan inciting riot. Japanese forces in Manchuria secure the border and raid the countryside and destroy roads preventing easy access to Korea. Beijing is threatened by Japanese forces fortifying just beyond the border. Three additional fleets deploy in the Pacific and begin blockading Chinese trade. No foreign ships are destroyed and in some cases German cargo is paid for by the Japanese. Within a month of the conflict beginning almost 40,000 troops have been moved to Taiwan. Military forces at home are armed as industry provides equipment needed for war. Small Japanese units deploy along the rivers and begin damaging and destroying mills and water powered industrial plants. Peasants are treated well by the Japanese and not long after all peasant units armed by the Japanese are spotted across northern China. Japan begins receiving supplies via ship and land to forces in Korea and Manchuria via Russian merchants. Japanese forces arm unsatisfied Koreans. The food and water provided by Japan during famine and drought sway many people. Japanese forces are reported using machine guns widely as trenches are dug along northern China by the third month. Japanese forces test the British fleet model using their maritime dominance as the model for their own. All Japanese home islands deploy shore batteries to defend as the army builds appropriate defenses. These are successfully tested on large metal ships with amazing results. These are moved to Korea to coerce Chinese forces cornered by Korea. Following Sino-Japanese conflict a Japanese battle group is sent to Siam/Thailand to extend check on the nation's status.
China: You do know that there are only 200,000 Japanese soldiers, right?
Japan: Edited to reflect but just saying you can't upgrade your military to mine in two turns. It takes a normal-sized nation almost five or six - maybe a bit more - to modernize to the point of a western army at the time. Considering Japan took 30 years reforming and taking help on the matter were quite a bit more well equipped than you and even better troops than some European powers to some degree. As of now military numbers have been edited in respect to timeline but due to expansion and natural funding the military is just a bit bigger than OTL.
Japanese Dip: edit: due to a settlement with China the whole of the Korean Peninsula is to be annexed into the Japanese Empire. All Chinese prisoners of war are returned and Naval forces will shift next turn. All forces in Manchuria will maintain small garrison to support and supply Japanese immigrants and business in the area. Alliance with Mexico is accepted. All Germans are not to interfere in the disputes between Asian nations. Post conflict incentives and major trade are offered. Trade and alliance offered to Spain.
China: Industrialisation continues in China and the army is equipped with better weapons. (haven't finished)
UK: We conquer the Boer States (what algorithm are we using?)
France: Military, economy and infrastructure are improved. Weapons research begins.
Russian Dip: Asks for a Franco-Russian alliance.
Japan: Naval forces reach Siam and demand the immediate surrender of the nation to the Japanese Government. Annexation benefits are listed and the navy is put within striking distance of their cities. Japan continues previous research into military technology and begins the rapid modernization of Korea to make it productive for the Japanese Empire. Within months previously exploited metal reserves and farming areas are working at three times their original output. 30,000 soldiers are deployed along the Korean border with China in defensive positions just in case China wishes to rescind the peace agreement. All Japanese naval forces near China and Korea return to port except for two fleets. These fleets are sent to ports on either side of Korea to deal with any problems that may arise.
- Japanese Dip: Siam is asked to surrender without bloodshed and be annexed into the Japanese Empire. Talks are sought with the Dutch to talk about their colonies in the Pacific and the purchase of a few by Japan. Alliance with Mexico accepted and advice taken into question. Will show opinion next turn.
- Japan requests trade with Brazil. We provide manufactured arms (infinitely more machine guns for your military) and other manufactured goods in return for coal, timber and metals.
- China Dip: Although anti-Japanese sentiment is high in China, China asks Japan for an alliance and trade-agreement, where Japanese technology can allow Chinese resources to be supplied three times as fast, which one half of the surplus will be given to Japan.
- Mexican Diplomacy: We offer Japan an alliance but suggest that you stop expansion so fast.
Portugal: Portuguese royalty finally proposes a marriage between the Royal Castile Family and the Royal Portuguese family, which would create a dynastic union between Spain and Portugal. Portugal further reaches out to Brazil and France to improve relations.
Mexico: Mexico works on military and technology, and we continue to modernize and industrialize our country and military. The first metal fleet is sent around the world in a show of force, and we begin preparations for an invasion of Guatemala and the conquest of Central America, although many feel peaceful union would be better, and it is decided to slowly integrate them into Mexico, and several trade deals and alliances are signed. Mexican troops begin massing on the American borders, but just far enough not to be seen by the US Army
UK: UK works on military. We mass troops on the American border just far enough not to to be seen by the US army. We prepare to invade Sweden with new mountain divisions
Argentina: Argentina begins to build up its military, and aids the Brazilian monarchs in their civil war.
USA: The US builds up their military. The Isolationist Party is created in May of 1892. A small, local party based around the Mid-Atlantic region, it is based around the Monroe Doctrine, and its political goal of staying out of European affairs and wars.
Brazil: The war rages on in the Brazilian interior with royalists taking Mato Grosso and the south from Rebel hands at last, more massacres occur in the regions in rebel hands. The deployment of machine guns purchased by the royalist forces begins and has a great affect on the rebels. More Afro-Brazilian divisions are raised. The royal government thanks all foreign assistance, but is reluctant to accept Mexican help due to their growing ambitions of expansion, but nonetheless a friendship treaty is signed with Mexico. Industrial output is slowly growing again, and projects previously started before the coup are continued in a slower fashion now. With plans to expand the rail lines and bring the wave of industrialization of populating to the interior with the end of the civil war. A request for alliance with the USA is requested. To the mourning of the nation on March 3rd Dom Pedro II passes away in his sleep from what seems to have been a stroke, Pedro III acends the throne in Rio a week later and declares two days mourning and denounces the rebels for having caused the death of his grandfather, the founder of modern Brazil.
Russia: Work on the Trans-Siberian Railroad continues. Famine in Georgia causes mass immigration into the Russian cities to the north, resulting in race riots. Alexander applauds the example set by the monarchists in Brazil and wishes them continued success.
Russian Dip: Requests an alliance with the US against British aggression.
- Argentine: Diplomacy: Argentina offers Mexico an alliance
- Mexican Diplomacy: Mexico graciously accepts
China: Continues industrialisation as mass-scale factories are erected in the country. The army continues building up and modernizing, as more torpedo ships are built. The country conducts research about balloons, hoping to build a squadron of war balloons.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up its military, and continues to aid the Brazilian Monarchs in their civil war. New ports and harbours are also built.
'Japan:' Japanese forces still occupy the waters of Siam waiting for their answer. Japan establishes a well guarded and profitable trade route with Mexico cutting the time it takes for good to reach either nation in half. Research into faster and more well armed battleships begins. Japan funds a budget allowing for a 350,000 man army. Surplus in money allows for this to be funded as well as social programs aimed at helping the poor get jobs and become profitable members of Society. Riots occur in Hiroshima over unfair pay of workers. Military at the governments request steps in and forces illegal business practices to be halted and the workers be paid more. Several large scale military contracts are signed bringing in Japan's new state of the Art type 10 machine gun and the new Bolt action rifle. Both perform with great results. Japanese naval forces near home are outfitted with new faster loading and higher velocity cannons bought from Mexico. Two fleets are outfitted. Japanese 3rd fleet conducts drills off the coast of Korea in the Yellow Sea. Marines are drilled in amphibious landings attempting to limit casualties during such an operation. Rudimentary trenches are dug along the Chinese-Korean border with plans to expand and complicate them during the next few years with budget allowances. Race riots in Korea are quelled when many of the issues surrounding them are dissolved by government officials allowing Koreans to work the same jobs as Japanese. Racial tension begins to soften as Korea feels less like a Japanese colony and rather like Japan's brother-in-arms.
Japanese Dip: In addition to our previous trade agreement Japan requests an alliance with the British empire (UK) Japan insists with the Russians that the Ottomans are not to be associated with.
We invade Sweden. We ask Russia for a non-aggression pact.
NO! Utterly implausible, do any more of these ludicrous invasions and you will be removed for a week.
An alliance with Argentina?
Argentine Diplomacy: Argentina accepts the alliance offer from the United Kingdom.
UK Dip: Accepts.
- Russia: Accepts.
Brazil: Monarchists finally defeat the core of the rebel forces in Mato Grosso and in the Amazon with the rest of the republicans either surrendering or falling into smaller guerrilla forces in the interior hunted by both natives and by the monarchists. Pedro III speaks to the masses in Rio speaking of how the country has finally defeated the anti-patriots. Though the war is over, the country doesn't celebrate with the damage caused to the nation and the scars left by the rebels deep, reconstruction begins at once, with Dom Pedro III aiding in the passing of a strict new law bringing the military under civilian power along with the centralization of power to the capital following a unitarian government over a federal one. Anti-republican sentiment remains high and praise for the brave Afro-Brazilians who fought for the crown runs high, industrialization continues now faster then during the war, and plans to expand the rail line are put forth.
- UK Dip: We ask for an alliance with Brazil.
OE: Starts the modernization on a major scale, starting with the reform of the Ottoman education system and the construction of a modern mass transport system using railways. Looking at the new global need for paraffin and other oil byproducts, geologists and engineer are brought in from across the world to scour our land for any possible reserves. Looking at the most successful naval, army and nationally innovative countries we contact Germany, the United Kingdom and Belgium, looking to see if we can get any advisers in those particular fields. Learning from the French Revolution the Sultan looks to improve conditions for the average man, instigating a national minimum wage and giving an unprecedented Ottoman move creating 21 substates with their own elected local leadership. Alliance offers are sent to the British, the Germans and the Italians.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. Trenches, forts and tunnels are built right next to the Yalu River. Trenches are built throughout Northern China, with machine guns. More cruisers are pumped out of the ship factories. Dreadnoughts and battleships are under research by the Beijing University. More Chinese textile mills, powered by water are built, especially near the Amur river, Yellow River and Yangtze River. Once again asks Japan for an alliance, saying it will be beneficial to both Japan and China. Hot air balloons are researched and a small balloon division is built, dropping bombs on enemies. Torpedo boats are built, with the aim to inflict as much damage as possible. A large bomb with shrapnel and smaller bombs are built on every torpedo ship. It will be exploded when enemy ships are near and the ship has run out of torpedoes. Another method is the long metal pole on the front of each ship - when run out of torpedoes, the ships will ram enemy ships and explode their bombs effectively sinking larger ships with a relatively smaller ship. Asks Ottoman Empire and England for an alliance against the growing power of Russia. Declares war on Siam, and the Chinese fleet comes near Bangkok and Ayyuthaya. The army marches through rain forest and finally arrives in Phitsanulok at October. The army begins looting and burning down villages, and is estimated to arrive in Bangkok in February next year.
OED: Accepts the offer and ask if the Chinese wish to collaborate on research projects both military and civilian?
China Dip: Agrees with co-operation and gives Ottoman plans of Chinese cruisers.
- OE: Thanks. China and sends new geological survey equipment.
Russia: Displaced Georgians are finally able to settle in Russia thanks to several new factories in Moscow, Novgorod and St Petersburg providing them jobs. Reform movements gain strength but the Tsar and his advisors flatly reject a proposition to bring some liberal reforms to the country. The Tsar insists that Great Britain not support Russia's arch-nemesis, the Ottomans.
Portugal: Continues to increase relations with Spain and their royal family. The navy begins training exercises and increases the number. The dry dock is finished.
Mod Event: Britain invading Sweden is rolled back, utterly implausible. Anything more like this and you WILL be removed for one week from play. God knows you don't want that.
Global economy is booming by this point allowing for slightly more money to spend improving your country.
Britain: The accidental invasion of Sweden is passed off as just that, an accident and leading military admirals and generals are tried for treason in court as most forces are removed from the Area to appease the very angry Swedes.
Russia: Explosions rock the build site of the Trans-Siberian railroad killing over 150 workers, Luckily, the railroad suffers minimal damage and the workers continue as usual - albeit more cautious. Leaders of the workers of the railroad request the Tsar end more troops for better security of the railroad.
Empire of Brazil: The conflict, though draining, has united Brazil like never before, many advances are made in improving the War-Torn Country. However, public opinion sags as the effort to find many remaining rebel forces ends in dead ends leaving a few small groups and one sizable force to deal with.
Mexico: Suffers a drought but is easily averted by tapping into stored up water. However, the drought even handled well still causes some public unrest causing tolerable amounts of protest in the Capital.
United States: Two years following the wounded knee massacre amazingly a few Indian stragglers refusing to accept peace start raiding surrounding towns in the US. The Government is asked to take action against a growing threat from reorganizing natives.
Ottoman Empire: Suffering from massive food shortages military forces are moved to deal with civil unrest and to distribute large quantities of food to the populous, public opinion sinks as the famine is thought to be a bad sign from God.
China: With enough social tension the loss of Korea as a vassal state to China so easily to Japan causes riots in many coastal cities. Japans obvious superiority in battle causes many to question the legitimacy of the imperial Government. Military forces refuse to take decisive action without the emperor and large damages are inflicted to cities. Development slows down (also, your rapid industrialization is highly implausible. All your activities need to be taking much longer than they are. You're highly scaled back as it took a small nation like Germany, Britain and Japan around 20 years to industrialize, you have about 400 million people or something crazy like that and one of the largest land area nations.).
Japan: The Siamese Government caves to pressure and agrees to become part of the Japanese Empire. This, however, causes nationwide'''' riots in Japan. Many Japanese believe they will be outnumbered within just a few years of Japans expansion as well as their jobs and security threatened by the massive amount of immigrants and job surfers that will obviously come to the homeland. While no revolutionaries are present as the government recently reformed with quite positive results, many leading statesmen from Japan as well as other countries agree: Japan should slow down otherwise risk full scale revolution and intervention from other nations.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up its military. Some more ports and harbours are also built, as well as ships.
Japan: Settles the riots by harshly restricting immigration to Japan but strongly encouraging Japanese immigration out of the Country. Japanese population in Korea becomes sizable. Small amounts of Japanese are allowed to immigrate to Siam, Japanese military forces are stationed in the new Japanese territory keeping any civil unrest down that may pop up. Industrial factories and even some other Japanese businesses are allowed to be built, run, and operated by Siamese locals with proper pay and subsidized housing. These, however, are few between and many people still search for Jobs.the Business is booming throughout the Empire as the short term investments in Korea begin to flood money back to the homeland making the imperialism and war look much better to the Japanese people. Public opinion while near dead half against the growing ambitions of their government has shifted with almost 65% approving of Japans movements. The Homeland grows prosperous as companies starting are beginning the true capitalism. To avoid Issuesd as seen earlier the Emperor decrees that the Government will regulate business slightly to prevent unfair pay. Child labor remains a huge human rights issue. Complex trench systems and bunkers are built along the Yalu. Race riots occur in a few Cities in Korea and Siam unconnected politically but connected by the Racial tensions experienced by the populations. Japan spends much more time trying to minimize already huge damage in Siam. Damage remains limited in Korea but Government officials recognize the need to stop expansion and improve the conditions of its two new territories. Many research programs for the military are stopped as the growing strain on the budget needs to be reapplied to a five to ten year program in Siam and Korea to modernize the Areas. Experts, however, doubt the speed this can be achieved.
Japanese Dip: Large scale trade with the United States, and large scale trade with Argentina. Realising the US Native American situation Japan denounces UK comments as propaganda the Emperor replies "Every nation has internal problems from time to time, Do not forget that the United States is in fact the colony you made your internal mistake in all those years ago."
Argentine Diplomacy: Argentina accepts Japan's trade agreement.
Um - I'm sorry but there's no way the Japanese could even begin mixing blood this early let alone assimilate its new territories. This is quickly approaching implausility in the east with the rapid industrialization of China and the acceptance of Japanese rule in the Southwest Asia, while possible it would take a while. I'm a `person who favors East Asia generally but don't be so heavy handed with things. It ruins games. Nkbeeching
(All right. I dig the second opinion. I'll change stuff up to look more plausible) Yeah, China is increasingly implausible and it keeps forcing me to look more implausible to deal with it.
Portugal: Continues to build relations with the Spanish Royal Family, and proposes marriage for a dynastic union. Angola expands their industry, building a few large plants. Naval exercises continue.
Brazil: in the post war, the situation is desperate for many displaced by the fighting and with the several massacres that happened in the interior natives and mestizos alike demand compensation which the government tries to distribute as best it can while maintaining a strong economic front to promote reconstruction and expansion of pre-war industry. Dom Pedro III announces the search for a suitable wife to becoming empress consort, since he assumed the throne but a year ago and had been up until that point without wife, the conditions set by the emperor and his mother for a suitor are that she be catholic, and has no claims to any other thrones to avoid uniting crowns in case of a succession crisis. The army is slowly demobilized and soon local militia in the interior take over and begin hunting the remnants, but for all purposes they are no longer a concern to the government. The leaders who were captured are tried and thrown in prison instead of execution out of respect for their previous service to the country before the coup, but they are stripped of all honors and ranks, and sent to hard labour in the Amazon and in Mato Grosso. A request is made to the rest of the world to leave South America in peace and respect the Monroe Doctrine,(while nothing has happened, I'm just trying to make clear Brazilian stances before anything is tried).
Portugal Diplomacy: The Portuguese Royal Family offers Duchess Adelaide in marriage, thus just creating ties to the Portuguese nation and its royal family.
Brazilian Diplomacy: The crown of Brazil will keep the offer in mind.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. Trenches, forts and tunnels are built right next to the Yalu River. Trenches are built throughout Northern China, with machine guns. Dreadnoughts and Battleships are under research by the Beijing University. The first industrial plant is built in Beijing and begins building guns by shared labour. Once again asks Japan for an alliance, saying it will be beneficial to both Japan and China. Asks England for an alliance against the growing power of Russia. The Emperor has a baby, which is named Pu Yi. Celebrations are held for his birth. The emperor gives a speech to the rioting people, urging them to stop their anger to the government and instead divert it to a passion in turning China a better place. Militia are sent to quell down the riots. With the new geological equipment, scientists discover large amounts of coal in Shanxi and immediately begins exporting it.The army goes out of Siam, begins slowing down its industrialisation and experts assume it will take at least 20 years to make China as industrialised as Japan or England. However, experts assume that the army should be able to defeat the Japanese in five years. Anger grows with the Japanese supremacy in South East and East Asia, but Guanxu emperor tells the people to wait, since Japan may conquer large tracts of Chinese land if war happens.
Mexico: With the protest from the drought being tolerable, the Mexican government begins syphoning off parts of the Rio Grande to get water. But seeing the massacre caused by the Americans against Native Americans, (of which a majority of Mexicans are related to Native Americans), Mexico demands the United States that it halt its act of genocide against the Native American population or face war. We ask the nations of the world to help stop the atrocious American acts and ask for the nations of the world to support Mexico should war have to occur with the United States.
Brazilian Diplomacy: The Brazilians declare neutrality in the current situation and request that Mexico cool down as it could destabilize the Americas leaving the continent open to European intervention - something Brazil feels would only lead to collapse in the future.
UK: More troops are put on the American border. We support Mexico's action and demands that the US stop its genocide.
World Message from Japan: All forces cease and desist from the US borders. The Native populations have stirred up trouble in their nation again and many can understand that. Britain especially. However, it is purely a US issue and any intervention into that nation will cause a large global economic collapse, Unless you want to have your people suffer by unemployment by attacking the US and forcing them to retool or even destroy Manufacturing they know they will lose, the World market will not survive.
OE: We ask are friend China for help with food we join the UK and Mexico in instructing the US. We modernise the military and build defense around our borders. Using the geological equipment we find oil in the Libyan desert but decide not to exploit it at all. We ask the Russians for mediative talks to mend our past sins. We then proceed to look into new ways of feeding our people, with plans to dam and irrigate from the Nile River.
US: Indian raids end as a settlement is reached with the Natives and the US government which pays reparations to them each year and allows them to live on reservations in peace.
China: Government inaction has ended in a rebellion. Military groups begin conflict with them all across the nation to deal with the situation but only make minor gains.
Mexico: Riots end as people calm down, and many applaud the peace agreement between the US and Indians.
Japan: Race riots calm down as famine in Siam is averted by Japanese stores which are running a surplus at this point in time. Powerful monsoons rack Japan causing major damage to a few coastal Japanese cities.
Argentina: Rebels are discovered in the Argentinian interior but seem to left of Rebels from the Brazilian conflict. Some Argentinians are seen among them concerning your soldiers.
Portugal: Spain is united with Portugal in a dynastic union. The Spanish family, the weaker of the two is forced to the background as Portugal takes head of the United Nations. This change, however, causes major revolt in the Philippines, a major Spanish colony. All other colonies show their affection for the union of Spain and Portugal. The Philippines declare independence as the successor to independent Spain. The newly fused nations are now known as the Kingdom of Iberia.
Austria-Hungary: The people of Bosnia and Croatia declare their peaceful separation from Austria-Hungary, but as Austria-Hungary will never allow such a thing, the Austrian military invades the two states in an attempt to subjugate them.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military. The Argentinian government sends some military to fight against the small rebellion.
Brazil: With the current crisis over America evaded, the Brazilian government breathes easily as many of the ancestors in Brazil remain American. Support is offered to the Argentinean oligarchy (it was a conservative oligarchy that ruled in that period, before the radicals began causing chaos in the late 1890's until the political reform in 1916) with troops and firearms if needed. Aunique offer is also made to Argentina to reaffirm the Alliance establish in the Paraguay war and build a single track line that would connect Rio to Rosario in the Santa Fe province to increase regional trade and production. modernization of Brazil continues as electric and telegraph lines go up in major cities. local production continues to grow and drawfs most of the other Latin American countries except for Argentina and Mexico which are only a little behind Brazil. With no other offers Dom Pedro III marries the Portuguese Duchess and within three months it is secured that she is with child, Brazil places no claims to the Iberian Crown and demands that Iberia follow suit and not claim the throne throne in Rio.
Russia: The Tsar doubles the security of the Trans-Siberian Railroad. Determined that such a symbol of Russian pride be successful, he recruits thousands of peasants to go work on or settle by the railroad.
In early August, Moscow receives word that the Ottoman government has denied Armenians in the country the rights they were promised by the Treaty of Berlin and that large Armenian protests are occurring in Marsovan and Tokat. This combined with rumors that the Sultan himself is encouraging Kurdish attacks on Armenians causes the press and the Tsar's advisors to insist Alexander fulfill his role as protectors of the Armenian Christians before things get out of hand. Alexander, a self-proclaimed Slavophile, does even more. An official declaration of war is issued on August 23th. By the end of that month Russia’s allies Romania and Bulgaria have granted permission for a march through their territory, and by mid September 80,000 Russian troops have crossed the Danube and 40,000 have set out from Volgograd to the Caucasus. By mid-October the initial contingent has sacked Luleburgaz and been re-inforced by an additional 100,000 troops, securing most of the Marmara and being supplied by the Black Sea Fleet through the port of Burgas.
Quick history note: The Armenian genocide started in 1915, and we never started a genocide anyway.
And you can't control events in other nations. Sorry.
- I never mentioned the genocide, I was talking about the protests that occurred in Marsovan and Tokat in 1892-93 (I know how to use Wikipedia)
- Russia hates the Ottomans, and has hated them for a long time
- Russia went to war on behalf of Romania and Bulgaria in the Russo-Turkish War in the 1870s, and since they are fellow Slavic Orthodox Christian states there is no reason they wouldn't support Russia here
- The reason I am attacking the Ottomans now is that they are being extremely implausible, initiating reforms in a society that has resisted change historically and suddenly deciding to be a military powerhouse after three posts
Japan: Begins to repair coastal damage to all cities and also begins major agricultural programs in Siam and Korea to try to alleviate Japan's food stores and the Siamese famine. Infrastructural improvement begins in Northern Korea and Coastal Siam with plans to extend both systems exponentially over the next few years. Japanese warships turn away all Ottoman trade ships among other Ottoman ships from China. Japan issues an apology but says that Genocidal nations have no business in East Asia and must trade elsewhere. Japan also pays a few small reparations for the lost trade to the Chinese government realizing their government is dealing with a very large situation. Japanese traders begin moving through Korea into Manchuria to trade with a local warlord. Japanese warships are spotted off the backside of the Coastal Chinese fleet, This fleet is flaunting a new type of battleship which was one of the few military funded projects left standing. Many nations do not know the capabilities of this new battleship. Number of Troops on the Yalu increases to 120,000 with the rest of its army forces domestic in the home islands and Siam respectively. Sympathising Siamese people are hired by the Japanese government as soldiers and begin to train a few divisions of Siamese soldiers. While the officers are Japanese, Siamese officers are being trained. This is seen as relatively okay and Many Siamese see that Japanese allowing them military units and modern training as a sign of improvement over their previous situation just a few months ago. Military pay allows for many Siamese families to live in better conditions. The same attempt is made in Korea with lesser results due to the more business oriented style of Korea.
Secret: Small elite groups of Japanese marines and army soldiers sneak into China through trade ports and begin opening up dialogue with Rebels beginning to support an exponentially growing rebellion. Japan begins secretly bribing many Ottoman ship captains to deliver their weapons and food to the Rebels and not the Imperial Chinese. Japanese advisors begin training Rebel forces in modern combat with modern weapons. This allows for any further Chinese attempt to put down the rebellion less than easy.
OE Secret: Reports reach back to the Ottoman empire of this action. They see it as dishonorable and ungodly. We threaten to reveal this to the world unless they share all their newest military technology with us.
Japan Dip: Japan says that China is not acting on liberal reforms proposed and not improving peasant life is the cause of your rebellion. Had you acted the situation would be much better than it is. Japan turns town NAP and offers to help China with its rebellion in exchange for removing the defenses across the Yalu, Otherwise blockade of goods from their profitable Ottoman allies will continue to be largely turned away.
China Dip:Inquires Japan what kinds of liberal reforms may quell down the rebellion and asks for a mutual disarmament of the land beside the Yalu River.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. Trenches, forts and tunnels are built right next to the Yalu River. Three lines of defence is made to defend Beijing from any future attacks and large amounts of mounted shooters are preparing in Mongolia. The first Chinese dreadnought is built, as well as the first team factory. Asks England for an alliance against the growing power of Russia. The revolution angers the government and the new army, armed with Western weapons is sent to combat the rebels. Cruisers are sent to every Chinese coastal city, where they bomb the city and land troops. However, after the rebels muster enough troops to attack, they pull out and invade another city. Mines are built in Shanxi and Shinjiang, where coal and oil is mined. Asks for a non-aggression pact between China and Japan. Plans for a railroad through China.
Mexico: Thankful that war has been averted with the United States, the Mexican military and government takes the US actions as a political victory over the United States. We sign an alliance with Iberia. Mexico continues modernizing the military and infrastructure, and the military now numbers roughly 200,000 modern ground troops. The Mexican government, riding on the wave of success over the Indian American Standoff, officially re-elects the President - and the Congress is filled with his fellow party members effectively making the government under his party's control. Mexico calls for a national conference to see if anyone will object to its annexation of Central America north of Panama.
Brazilian Diplomacy: The Brazilian government requests that Mexico not annex the nations as it would lead to a severe unbalance in power, requesting they look to establish an area of influence instead.
Japan objects on the point that it will cause a corrosive influence on Central American cultures and will cause major conflict in the near future over control over Panama.
US: The military expands. The US objects to the Mexican annexation of Central America. The US sends diplomats to Mexico and Central America to try to alleviate this problem.
OE: With food, science and the people sorted the empire decides to modernise its military, with a national small standing army set up with a regiment raised in their own council areas. They are armed with the newest weapons from the Sino-Otto research labs such as their own version of the machine gun and the Janissary's V1 bolt-action rifle. This lead, combined with the strong Azab cavalry raised from the best foot soldiers, turns the Ottoman army into a significant fighting force. We send forces to help China fight the rebels.
United Iberian Kingdoms of Portugal and Spain: Begin building up a naval force and continue to work on relations with colonies, especially Morocco and Angola. Continue to build up industry and infrastructure. Recognizes the Brazilian request and signs agreement to make no claim to the throne unless no Brazilian heir can be found.
Brazilian Diplomacy: Under no circumstance will the monarchy pass into the hands of Iberia in the very rare case that no legitimate heir is found in the passing of a monarch the new emperor will be elected from the aristocracy in Brazil by the parliament beginning an elective monarchy, similar to that of the old Holy Roman Empire. but for the moment there is no problem as the emperor is said to be with child and has two brothers in case anything happens.
Hey - I'll post the next turn later today with mod events. I was busy and apparently it didn't post like it was supposed to last night.
Mod event: Philippines will maintain independence due to the constraints with uniting Spain and Portugal.
Also, editing for some reason has been weird. So in summary, the only people from last turn missing are Argentina and Russia.
Argentina accepted the thing with Brazil and put down rebellions.
Russia upped workers on the railroad.
Onto the next turn without issues finally.
Japan: Sailors are stranded in the Philippines and wait for other ships to come get them.
US: Protests cause a large global economic slump with other nations scrambling to pick up the pieces while the US is out.
Better events will be posted next turn. You're free to do everyone.
OK, USA it's 1890s. You're not an economic powerhouse, you're a medium trading nation at best, your unproductivity won't really hurt the global economy.
False the US had some of the largest industrial productivity up until the great depression happened. They have huge sway on the Global economy. They have more factories, etc, in their home borders than the British do in their entire empire.
Doesn't matter, they wouldn't cause a recession. There are other providers out there. It would give Britain and other industrial nations an economic boom if the US experienced problems.
OK, it may cause some economic problems, but only with its major trading partners and such, I mean there are other producers out there that will take on the workload and there are nations developing industrially now.
Japan: builds up infrastructure and opens up dialogue with the Philippines to retrieve its lost sailors. Many technologies are once again put under development as the military is increased further. Japan takes a more proactive role in South East Asia outside its colonies, establishing solid infrastructure to the rest of the smaller countries and into French Indochina linking up two railroads. Japan deploys a fleet to the Philippines to retrieve the hundreds of sailors and marines trapped there.
Japanese Dip: Japan asks Russia to please consider liberal reform to prevent the upheaval of a stable monarchy that is so close to achieving many of its goals. Japan offers to fund part of the Trans-Siberian railroad in exchange for Japanese businesses being allowed to exploit the resources of the area - mostly metal. Japan agrees to give 50% of all its mines to the Russians in exchange for this.
Russia: The entire Russian upper class is shaken by the assassination of Konstantin Petrovich Pobyedonostsyev, top advisor to the Tsar, secular head of the Russian Orthodox Church, and conservative champion. Predictably, Alexander himself shudders at reform and vows that as appointed ruler of Russia he will bring justice to the anarchist terrorists who he blames for the killing. However, among the aristocrats the Romanovs are losing support fast, as this blow on top of the similar assassination of the previous Tsar seems to reveal extreme weakness. 16 year old Michael Alexandrovich, youngest of the Tsar's sons, has been caught up in this excitement, and is rumored to be a fervent reader of Tolstoy and a decided liberal.
Mexico: We work on military and infrastructure, and we now have a population of 65,000,000 people and an army of 230,000 troops. We also now have a fully modern navy. Research into heavier-than-air flight begins. Industrial buildup begins.
UK: we move 75,000 men to South Africa to invade the Boer States. We invade in three months.
Our troops have been given elite training. We ask Afghanistan if we can annex them.
Brazil: reconstruction continues as does the industrial growth of the coast area, Economic ties with Uruguay and Paraguay grow. (Quick thing: the USA was a major powerhouse already. It was more industrialized then most of the other great powers and next to Germany, was the rising star in international affairs. It wasn't the superpower it was today, true, but it was definitely one of the nations holding the balance of power in those days.)
United Iberian Kingdoms of Portugal and Spain: They recognize Philippine's independence, continue to build up naval and military forces. Begin to send aid to Morocco Christians hoping to inspire them to rise up and take control of the state.
Iberian Kingdoms: Troops are finally removed from the Philippines after recognizing independence. Many industries among other things merge successfully between the two former countries.
Brazil: A prestigious Japanese Admiral considered lost at sea after a battle with Pirates washes ashore on your nation. It's up to you what you do with him. Industrial output exceeds expectations and more factories are added to this power.
US: US Navy showcases many of its new modern technologies showing up the British, Japanese, And Mexican counterparts at a world military Fair located in France.
France: Many Vietnamese are protesting French Colonial rule and wish to maintain good relations with the French colonial empire but would rather be part of the Japanese empire due to the growing sentiment that Japan and its colonies are East Asia's future and would profit trade much more if allowed Japanese control rather than the uninvested French Control.
Philippines: a few Japanese sailors are killed by accident as they are thought to be considered an invasion force. They hope this will be forgiven as they are fascinated with the way they saw the Japanese act. They hope that Japan doesn't invade them but rather resorts to trade.
Japan: Close call with Philippines is at your discretion. It's up to you how to act on the indiscriminate killing of your sailors.
Stop giving nations chances for war all the bloody time!
Ottoman Empire: Riots break out over the lack of expansion the Empire is doing towards India and other Muslim areas around it.
No. Not expanding is a good thing toward stability:
People over the years have consistently asked for expansion and war all the time. stop throwing hissie fits.
China: First sets of organized rebels are seen and successfully combat your forces.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. Trenches, forts and tunnels are built right next to the Yalu River. The hot air balloon squadrons bomb rebel held cities. The first Chinese battleship is built, as well as the first steam factory. Asks England for an alliance against the growing power of Russia Mines are built in Shanxi and Shinjiang, where coal and oil is mined. Asks for a non-aggression pact between China and Japan. The railroad is planned to start from Shanghai and go to Chengdu, with the other railroad to start from Beijing and end in Hong Kong. Attacks the rebels with modern weapons again.
Japan: Rescues the rest of its sailors and begins to open diplomatic channels with the Philippines hoping to repair the damage done by the Filipino people. Japan opens up trade with the Philippines and also requests they be integrated as a colony/state of the Japanese Empire. Japanese forces land in Southern China, set up camp and begin limited operations against the rebels. The city of Shanghai is completely occupied by Japanese soldiers who secure it within a week. Rebel forces ignore Shanghai after Japanese landings. Complex trench system on the Japanese side of the Yalu is fortified heavily, still purely out of aggression of any other nation that may attack from that direction - not Just China.
Japan Dip: Asks China to once again consider allowing Japanese forces to assist China in engaging rebels and securing the territory within its borders. Japanese forces do firing drills using new artillery just in sight of Chinese forces on the other side of the border. Japan finishes massive infrastructural improvements and begins looking at heavier-than-air flight for research and application.
China Dip: Allows Japan to assist China in engaging rebels and asks for an alliance. Asks to buy North Korea from Japan.
Response: Due to our heavy investments in the region we are unwilling to sell North Korea - or any other part of our colonies, etc.
United Iberian Kingdoms of Portugal and Spain: Continue to industrialize S. African colonies. Relations begin to be built with Italy and France in hopes of a NAP/Alliance. Portuguese and Spanish continue to immigrate to Morocco.
Netherlands: Queen Wilhelmina, now 14 years old, asks her mother to step down as regent so she may run her own nation. She carefully appoints Georg van Hedrick to be her Prime Minister, and then seeks to expand her nation. She is courted by Albert of Belgium, Crown Prince under his father, Leopold II. Rumors about their royal wedding bring joy to many who wish to see the nations re-united. Suriname begins a process of industrialization, and the Dutch East Indies also begin to grow in things other than spices, which are now really cheap.
Brazil: The Japanese is discovered and at once is sent to Rio where he is invited to spend a month in the royal palace before being returned to the Japanese embassy well-fed and dressed anew in the hopes that this will bring up Brazilian prestige in the eyes of the rest of the world. Industrialization continues and a major effort to continue with efforts of the deceased Pedro II are made to bring up literacy in the still highly illiterate country with many schools being opened throughout the country at the expense of the royal family being called the Royal Academies of Brazil and somewhere around two to five hundreds school will be opened as well, professionals from Europe and Japan are invited to help bring up the Brazilian academic levels (note Brazil was at this point about 37 40% literate in real life due to the efforts of Dom Pedro) . Industrial output continues to grow and many more immigrants come to the increasingly desirable life in Brazil largely Italians, Portuguese and Russians, they are at once accommodated into the national scene either with jobs on the plantations or in the growing factories. Dom Pedro III's first son is born and named Pedro and to keep up the tradition of the name he is declared the legal successor to his father upon his death. The national focus slowly moves to the amazon where the government plans to now begin thee social and cultural integration of the largely untouched interior in the national life, to both secure all of its borders but also to finally tap into the massive resources available but unexploited with in the region. Military tare set throughout the region to keep the natives passive. While no massacres are carried out the natives are treated as pests by the government and the army who plan to bring the civilization of the coastline to the interior.
Mexico: We work on military and the like. Our technology is increased. Military is built up and now we have 300,000 men.
UK: With the victory against the Boer States we celebrate in London. The remnants of the Boer Army are being hunted down. We upgrade our navy.
Russia: Construction on the Trans-Siberian continues and plans are laid to build a second track at key points next year. Although the Railway is far from finished, Alexander vows to see it completed in his lifetime. Fate is not with him, though, as he contracts nephritis and passes away November First. This on the heels of the earlier assassination throws Moscow into disarray. in the subsequent power struggle radicals jump ahead early but are checked by the pro-military bloc, and slowly a pro-stability party emerges that reconciles aristocrats with reformers. Alexander's heir Nicholas II is put on the throne, but he has to make significant concessions, foremost among these the abolition of the 'land captain' system his father used to personally govern the empire. They are replaced with the Zemstvo system, which allows local government by aristocrats but also gives the peasant class a greater say, as peasants acount for one-third of Zemstvo membership now.
Mod: I will be posting for the Netherlands with a large list of turns provided by that nations owner. France: France accepts the Franco-Russia Entente.
Germany: Industry surges forward as military technology is researched at an increased rate
Brazil: An "massacre" happens in the interior in order for more intelligent natives to utilize public opinion and get Intervention. In reality Brazilian forces have been framed and these people were killed by pro-independence natives that wish for Brazil's people to remain coastal and not nationwide.
Japan: Oil is accidentally struck in Indochina and is researched for its practical use rather than being lit for street lamps. Anti-Japanese sentiment due to good management receeds heavily in the colonies although it still lingers to some degree influencing local politics. Chinese rebels assault Shanghai and use a captured shore gun to destroy one cruiser and damage a battleship. The dreadnought remains unscathed as the rest of the fleet must pull out of the Area. Public outcry is to topple the Chinese government and support the rebels. However, the Government remains adamant that Japan give full support to China in order to have a very large and solid ally for the future especially to secure Asia from European Influence.
Mexico: Economic inequality becomes more noticeable in the country as the nation improves industry.
Russia: With military hardliners throughout Siberia Russo-Japanese tensions increase over Russias access to next to no Warm Water ports. Many less hardliner Military generals attempt to ease the tensions. Major military Units are deployed all around Moscow and St Petersburg in the Attempt to Keep many people at bay. Many hope the new leader will allow liberal reform.
China: Rebel forces engage Chinese forces on a much more Massive Scale even Assaulting the Japanese in Shanghai. Hong Kong is seized but adjacent military units on the Yalu River manage to keep Beijing and allow for supplies to run into the city. Many see Japanese intervention as another sign of China's waning influence and Japan being able to successfully modernize. Protesters in Beijing (Peking is the old name) are killed by the Emperor's Royal Guard. Northern China remains relatively peaceful as the Rebels lack real motive or influence due to the relative wealthiness caused by trade with Japan and good management by the local warlord. China still maintains a large amount of economic prosperity.
Netherlands: Dynastic Union is recognized as the nations do have historic ties and this could have happened.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military, and some more harbours are built. Infrastructure is also improved.
I think it's pretty funny that all you do is build harbours and improve infrastructure.. by now I'm pretty sure your streets are lined with gold and Studded with Diamonds.Feudalplague (talk) 22:07, May 24, 2013 (UTC)
Japan: Begins second major round of Infrastructural construction in Siam extending fully to the Interior and allowing larger settlements and Cities to grow there. Japanese Forces erratically engage Rebels and March on Hong Kong Seizing the Island from Rebel Forces. Another Army of 50,000 is Sent upwards towards Beijing to Attack Rebels From Behind. Japanese Forces support Chinese Troops in Southern China as well attempting to Gather Public Support from the people as they fight their way through. Japanese Ships move towards the Philippines to re-inforce the fleet already there. 40,000 marines accompany the Naval force. Oil is Tested and refined in an attempt to create a usable substance, hopefully fuel.
Netherland's Queen Wilhelmina and Belgium's Prince Albert, are married in Amsterdam to a crowd of a few thousand. The two nations enter into a dynastic and personal union, and are happily ruled by both Wilhelmina and Leopold II - Albert's father. Suriname grows as it is further industrialized, and Indonesia begins to notice the ample supply of oil stored in its lands and waters.
Japan Dip: We ask for future access to the oil stores via trade in order to accurately test and find usage for oil in the near future.
Brazil: The massacre enacted in the interior brings a shock to the political leaders and the Brazilian public and an immediate investigation is enacted to discover what really happened, the military is strategically positioned throughout the interior to keep the inner provinces in line, and protect the Brazilians and natives alike and help the assimilation process along quicker.A statement is made by Dom Pedro III that the interior is as much a part of the country as the coastline and shall remain part, also its inhabitants are Brazilians just as much as the people in Rio or in Para are. The extensive natural resources of the interior also begin to get exploited in small amounts for the moment with companies bringing in rail lines and migrants along with them. Industrial growth continues as does the newly invigorated education plan with more efforts going into raising the national literacy. A new rifle is designed based along bolt action designs and plans to begin production are put into place to help advance the national cause for unity and strength. Economic ties with the neighboring countries begin to grow as well with Brazilian intentions to someday create a united Latin American market strong enough to sustain itself and compete economically with the European powers.
United Iberian Kingdoms: Continue to build infrastructure and upgrade naval forces. African colonies become closer aligned to the kingdoms. Begin to build relations with France. In colonies and protectorates talks begin of establishing home rule, with the Monarch still being recognized as the head of state.
Russia: Nicholas II secures his power with a vote of confidence by an assembly of aristocrats in Moscow. Russian peasants fully recover from the famine and economic depression earlier in the decade. Official permission is granted for the construction of the Nikolayev Shipbuilding, Mechanical, and Iron Works on the Black Sea, although it will take two years. The Hamidian Massacres cause outrage among some, but the Tsar forbids any action in the Caucasus or Manchuria, saying that because of dissidents at home Russia needs to focus on domestic issues.
UK: Remnants of the Boer Army are wiped out. We send 60,000 men to Egypt We invade Sudan.
Philippines: The liberation movement now with no Colonial authorities to fight switches focus to foreigners and western styled Filipinos. 12 Americans, five French, 17 Iberians, and another 14 Japanese civilians are all slaughtered for being a western nation or being affiliated with them in a non-warlike fashion. Filipino civilians have no idea what to do and many begin trying to immigrate away, most of them unsuccessfully
Iberia: Major inroads are made into industrializing and exploiting your colonies as the Colonies you control are in majority support of the Nation
US: US forces wipe out a new kind of pirate in a well armed ship off the coast of Cuba. many wonder if Piracy is returning. Millions of Americans celebrate as their nation is being recognized as a solid and far-reaching power.
Brazil: With the keeping of the Monarchy and well handling by the Emperor, the Massacres are discovered to be hoaxes and are really just natives killed by a tribe to facilitate Brazil into war with other powers. Brazil hosts a civilian Worlds Fair for all nations to come and show case their new technology and inventions. It turns out to be a huge success as the Nation wields major prestige world-wide now.
Japan: Many people are distracted by a huge Industrial incident where a close grouping of Factories in Japan exploded. However, word gets out of the Deaths of Japanese citizens in the Philippines. Japan suffers from severe race riots once again in Siam and Korea respectively
Americas: Growing tension between Mexico, Brazil and the US mounts as a three-way cold war looks to erupt over dominance in Central America. All nations' economies are of high standing with decent militaries. This looks, however, to be more of an economic cold war rather than a military one.
Europe: A flu disease is spotted in Italy but quickly spreads to many other nations. The UK fears they are next.
China: Imperial Successes against the rebels allow for ground to be gained in the Growing Civil war. Japanese forces are reported to be good help (Whoever China is please post so I don't have to either make you mod controlled or post for you.)
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military, and some more harbours are built.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military, and some more harbours are built.
Russian Dip: Since France isn't posting, could the mod decide whether they accept the Franco-Russian Entente? (They did in OTL)
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military, and improves the economy. Meanwhile, some funding is put into technology research.
- Japan: Japan immediately begins operations against the Filipino Radicals and Crushes them Handily ending in the Philippines incorporation into Japanese Empire. Japan then removes all foreign nationals from the nation due to safety purposes. The first Major Siamese Divisions are successfully trained and Japan increasing military men to around 500,000 Men at arms throughout the Empire. Due to the Philippines being mildly populated Massive Japanese Immigration flood to the Island colony. Japan researches major Technological upgrades to its factories and infrastructure. Japan attempts to quell the massive race riots that have broken out in Siam and Korea over job and economic inequality. Steps are taken to insure essential productions are not stopped. However, Japan begins trying to quell the riots with promises of equal opportunity. The previous natural disasters and economic issues in Asia are another reason behind these riots.
- OK Japan, seriously. That kind of thing would bring massive outrage around the world. Also, you're expanding and assimilating areas way too fast. Take it slowly.
- Well, assimilating is easy when almost nobody lives there.. the Philippines is very sparsely populated. and besides my rebuttal to that is that the European powers took their colonies this way, so they have no room to criticize
- Brazil: With the situation of the massacre handled the control of the interior is tightened and the tribes are controlled more effectively now with no bloodshed, the influx of investment into the region grows and a few work settlements dealing with mining and lumber operations begin to sprout up. More and more Europeans from Italy, and Iberia continue to come in for better chances of fortune with the promises made by the Brazilian government which are are completed to the letter including housing, and a decent living. Industrial growth continues and with the recent attention giving to the nation a new sense of national pride begins to arise in Brazil as proud monarchs and industrialists who escaped the chaos that the rest of their Latin brothers went through over the past 100 years. Also, a deeper displeasure grows towards republicans within and outside of Brazil. The government offers an alliance with the States, Argentina and Mexico to solidify the Western Hemisphere once and for all and completely enforce the Monroe Doctrine but with the defence of the Americas being divided with a Brazilian force in the south and an American, Mexican leads one north of the Isthmus. Breakthroughs in Europe in technology and medicine are brought to Brazil to help continue the growth of living standards in the growing regional power. A new national ideal begins to appear in the new post civil war Brazil "Order and Prosperity in Diversity through Imperial Majesty and Justice."
- China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. Artillery towers are built next to the Yalu. Inquires Japan about any the possibility of attacks from the Yalu river, that are not Chinese attacks. The fleet expands to two dreadnoughts, two battleships, five cruisers, and other ships. Asks England for an alliance against the growing power of Russia. Minerals are found in Mongolia, which are mined. Attacks the rebels with modern weapons again. Builds a railroad in Taiwan as practice, and builds a railroad from Taipei to Taichung. Begins learning Japanese tactics and fighting styles from the Japanese aid sent to combat the rebels.
- Response: The Korean defensive network is purely for the purposes if a large powerful nation invading China is after Japan as well. The defenses are to defend the small amount of territory Japan controls. China can afford to lose some ground, the Japanese can not. Hence, the large defensive network on the Yalu.
- China: Agrees with the Japanese and asks for a mutual defence agreement.
- UK: We continue to fight in Sudan. We accept China's offer.
- Japanese Dip: We apologize for previous conflict with China and wish for the agreement to reconcile our two nations. Japan proposes the creation of the Strategic Defence Coalition or SDC for short. This will be a far reaching military force with the expressed goal of protecting Sino-Japanese Interests and uniting South East Asia under our influence. This will also be a far reaching trade agreement which allows for Japanese access to Chinese resources in order to provide for the Japanese people as well as manufacture goods and machinery for the Chinese people. Siam, Korea and the Philippines are also to be included on the list of Japanese states/colonies to be modernized and used to provide for the greater good of the SDC. In the future, we hope to incorporate much of South East Asia and remove much European Influence. China, please see Talk:South American Rising (Map Game)#Creation of the SDC
Russia: Nicholas applauds the able rulers of Brazil, lamenting that such successful monarchism is not more widespread (Russia has a long history of absolutism). Aristocrats force the weakening of the military since they are seen as a potential threat and many hardliner generals are dismissed. A thousand former soldiers are sent to work on the Trans-Siberian railroad.
- Netherlands: Netherlands and Belgium start to become culturally similar, as part of a plan laid out mainly by Georg van Hedrick, the Dutch Prime Minister. They are already very similar, so a common culture is not too farfetched, and the popularity of this blended culture is already growing. Suriname continues to grow, andIndonesia sends geologists and petroleum experts to survey their reserves.
Mod: if you don't post for your nation within four turns I will start removing you from the game. You will either have to re-insert yourself or pick a new nation.
North America: Brazil calls the American nations in the creation of a large Monroe Doctrine based alliance in order to keep European influence out of the Americas.
Asia: Japan leads the Charge in Creating the Strategic Defence Coalition based on keeping unwanted influence in Asia out and bringing many Asian nations and Colonies into the Modern world. Due to Britain's notable Presence in Asia They have been accepted as a Member with Japan hoping to convince the Dutch colonies to fall under the SDC umbrella as well. Chinese naval forces are seen helping the Japanese maintain control of the Philippines. Japan's race riots dull down to a controllable level. Joint Japanese and Chinese forces in the Chinese interior suffer a tactical defeat from a newly formed large rebel army. While Japan suffered light casualties, the Chinese Brethren were not so lucky. Almost 15,000 Imperial Chinese have died but fought bravely on managing to fight into a stalemate. While a tactical defeat, it's obvious that greater co-operation between the two nations militaries must come about.
Africa: A major continental drought affects many colonies and nations forcing them to try to survive the harsh summer months of Africa with little to no easily accessible water.
Netherlands: The Netherlands and Belgium continue on their path of finding a cultural identity, and they work with the Emperor of Ethiopia, in hopes that Ethiopia will become a Dutch colony and protectorate. Some Belgians and Dutch are still unhappy after the reunion, which came shortly after the 1839 dissolution of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands. van Hedrick continues his policy, nonetheless, and finds some success. Suriname grows more after the industrialization continues, and Indonesia's oil reserve reports come back - there is a large deposit near the islands.
Japan: The Japanese emperor, seeing the success of his proposed alliance, calls for the current race rioting to stop noting that even the mighty British wish to be affiliated with Japan's proposed idea. Japan recognizes the Siamese officer who came up with the Idea. While he did not willingly share, it he has been commended and promoted to the rank of general bringing the first Siamese general into the ranks of the imperial military. Korean race riots are put down with arrests but the people are quickly released with no issues or charges in an attempt to show the authorities were just trying to keep the peace and not harm civilians. The Korean race riots end when the perceived economic inequality is proven wrong by a large business in Korea developing to compete with Japanese businesses. The emperor commends the people's push to bring itself to Japan's level. Korean Industrial power is increased in an attempt to repeat the previous businesses success. Only time will tell if this works. Japan begins focusing heavily on the Philippines in an attempt to quell any racial tension as well as improve the lives of new immigrants and Natives alike. Assimilation continues in all Japanese colonies. Japanese forces in China protect the main loyalist army after the Rebels have fought them to a stalemate in the Chinese interior. Japan hopes to quell the still growing rebellion in the next year and shares its hopes with China
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military, and improves the economy. President José Evaristo Uriburu kindly declines the proposed Monroe Doctrine based alliance.
Japan Dip: We ask for Argentina to kindly consider Major trade with the SDC to make proper use of its Trade ports with a large market in Asia as well as to support its current military upgrades and infrastructural improvements.
Argentine Diplomacy: President José Evaristo Uriburu accepts Japan's offer.
Japan Dip: We extend and offer to Argentina to become a member nation of the SDC. the SDC is a primarily military alliance/coalition but also forms a huge economic structure which is Beneficial to all participants.
Argentine Diplomacy: President José Evaristo Uriburu accepts the offer for membership of the SDC.
Germany approaches the SDC about joining. We wish to modernize German New Guinea and expand the goals of the SDC into Africa. The United Kingdom joining has brought it to our nation's attention. Germany sends water and food to colonists in Africa. The German Empire decides to take the initiative in fighting the drought and asks other colonial powers to do so as well. Closer ties with the British Empire are requested, along with trade agreements with Japan and China.
Japan/SDC response: With the Joining of Argentina, Germany will be allowed to Join the SDC. However, Assistance to China must be prioritized in the form of putting down the Rebellion and Ensuring Stability. While there is an increase in racial stability with the additions of many South East Asian peoples to the Alliance especially in Japan, China requires more direct assistance as Japanese and Chinese forces have been focusing on many things while also trying to put down a rebellion. Any assistance provided would be most welcome. However, any assistance must be cleared through China first as I am not their leader.
SDC memberships: I realize the game won't be much fun if everyone joins the SDC so I'm closing off membership unless a lot more people join or I have a seriously good reason of letting in another member nation.
Russia: The ambitious Nicholas decides that he wants to go down in history as best of the Russian tsars. To do this he decides to avoid the mistakes of his predecessors and enact some reforms, but none are put forth yet. What he really is interested in is his pet project, a new capital city known as Tsargrad. Surprisingly, he finds considerable support for this selfish plan, since reformers believe it will cause more urbanization and industrialization and aristocrats are told he will take money out of the military budget to pay for it. In order to concentrate on this 'matter of national importance,' Nicholas also expands the power of the Zemstvos. Radicals/anarchists/terrorist remain a thorn in Russia's side. Assistant Foreign Minister Sergey Nemtsev goes to his superiors with the idea of uniting the likes of Russia, France, Iberia, the Netherlands, and the powers of the Americas against the 'SDC' which threatens to unite the world powers against everyone else.
Brazil: the settlement and Brazilianization of the interior continues and the Amazonia provinces are declared military districts to provide strict maintaining of peace in the region and to ensure order and productivity in the region. Elections are held were the conservatives win by a small margin over the liberals, but continue the previous policies, the emperors hand is seen clearly in this to ensure stability. industrial and demographic growth continues as does the literacy campaign, plans are made up for any future conflicts in case including the Guyanas, Colombia, Venezuela and the other nations of the cono sur, but are only made for defensive purposes.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. Artillery towers are built across the Russo-Chinese border, as well as trenches and tunnels. The fleets are deployed next to the Korean peninsula. More universities are built and the Beijing University of Transportation is built. Attacks the rebels with modern weapons again. Finishes the part from Shanghai to Nanking and from Harbin to Shenyang. Begins copying Japanese weapons
Japan Assistance: We suggest the Chinese utilize a natural obstacle such as cliffs, mountains or a river in order to set their defensive positions not the Entire border. The French use their forest, and the British used the Mountains in India for example.
That border is upwards of 5000 km! Have fun.
OE: With the empire being quite for a few turns we decide to start industralising are economy and improving the control of the cataphract over Muslims.
Mod: Germany has been taken over by Doctor Evulz. Whoever Germany was will have to rejoin as another nation, Sorry. Nations to be put back out for claim are Italy and France
Americas: Nothing major. Moderate growth of North and South Americas large powers.
Asia: Chinese Rebellion finally Emerges with a definitive leader, they have managed to throw together four armies throughout the Country. 120,000 near Beijing 40,000 near Shanghai, 50,000 near Hong Kong, and another 30,000 in Xilinhot. The leader of the Rebellion is a liberal reformist believing in Republic among other more liberal ideas. He declares war on China, Japan and the UK. Due to the British relying on Chinese military to keep this sort of thing from happening Hong Kong is lost. Japanese forces fall back to Shanghai and Chinese forces fall back to Beijing and fall under siege they remain surrounded. Chinese loyalists manage to secure a section of Hong Kong keeping any allies from having to perform an amphibious assault on the Island.
Africa: The drought Extends into the Ottoman empire and Egypt. Many blame it on oner development and not natural causes.
Europe: Inactivity in the French government causes unrest as many believe their king has died. Germany Suffers from a large monetary deficit after the failing of a few businesses that relied on Chinese resources to operate.
Netherlands:The Netherlands and Belgium work to unite, and it is announced that in six months they will reform the United Dutch and Belgian Kingdom, which will be called the Netherlands for short. Cultural diffusion continues, and more and more people are excited for this historic opportunity. Relations with Ethiopia get even better, and Suriname grows its economy. More and more Dutch are moving in, and the population in 50% Dutch and 50% native. Indonesia begins to invest in oil fields, and onshore drilling. Dutch troops storn French Madagascar and Guyana, taking those two regions. French Guyana is merged with Suriname.
Japan: Following the Loss of Hong Kong to the Chinese Revolutionaries Japan begins landing troops starting at around 10,000 and increasing to an apex of 40,000 after it looks as if they have encountered minimal resistance. Japanese forces then begin major combat operations in Hong Kong. Japanese forces also make their move in Shanghai deploying 40,000 soldiers with another 20,000 landing and hitting the Rebels from the front and back getting the Tactical advantage, They are also challenged to Battle. With Combat happening in China, Japan remains relatively peaceful as it industrialises its colonies and upgrades their infrastructure enjoying a very nice Surplus from the Trade and using it to improve the colonies.
Battle for Hong Kong:

Japan military: Japan provides oversight to British landings and directs 40,000 to land and support the Japanese in Hong Kong and the rest to be sent up to Beijing. Japan believes that the Rebels will take the city soon and have a decisive advantage requiring huge numbers of troops. Japanese forces near shanghai bring the Argentinian forces with them towards Beijin while 60,000 soldiers from the Yalu Defensive line are shifted and begin light shelling operation against rebel forces. the now 60,000 strong Siamese Divisions are being armed and ready to deploy to shore up the numbers in China if needed. We believe rebel forces in Beijing with rival the British fighting force within another month, and that it'll take a lot of doing for us to put this army down. This is the first true test of the SDC.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. Artillery towers are built across the Russo-Chinese border, as well as trenches and tunnels. 40,000 mounted riders, dragoons and cavalry and 20,000 infantry attacks Xilinhot. The 150,000 Tiangjing-Beijing army attacks the rebels. Asks the Japanese player to help make an algorithm. Continues on the railroad.
Battle for control of Beijing:
Chinese rebels: 169
Hollow victory for the Chinese generals as barely 30,000 men remain. However, it is an outright victory for the Chinese Emperor and his advisors. The Battles in the south, however, will determine the fate of a stumbling rebellion.
Mod Event Chinese rebellion: Rebel forces in Xilinhot and the 15,000 survivors combine and move south to meet up with the army outside of Hong Kong.
United Iberian Kingdoms: Crown Prince begins to court the French heir. The two at first uneasy about each other, fall deeply in love after a romantic evening in Paris (who would have guessed?). Naval exercises continue and relationship with colonies strengthened.
Mod: France and Italy are officially Mod Controlled and open for someone to claim again if they don't already have a nation.
Americas: Moderate growth nothing major economic tensions are still relatively high (Hey guys - post. It's not that hard to keep my little mod timer off your nation).
Asia: Japan Solidifies its rule over its Colonies heavily with a slight majority in its two majorly populated colonies agreeing with Japanese rule, However, racial tension is still high in Siam as many in the Interior are lacking in some of the benefits seen along the coasts. Chinese victory in Beijing forces rebels back down south. With 15,000 survivors of the main rebel army and another 30,000 rebels retreating from Xilinhot the Chinese rebellion looks close to finished. After linking up with the army besieging Hong Kong many of these men are trying to find a place to move to fight on their terms. With almost 55,000 men moving south and even more joining the Army in the South The rebel army has managed to scrounge together almost 150,000 men for its final stand.

Um - you do realize that France was a republic at the time, right?
Brazil: Economic growth continues and the army is put under a modernization project to bring it up to European standards. Anti-Republican sentiment begins to become more moderate and the population once again starts returning to its moderate position with the full support for a parliamentary monarchy remaining high. With the expansion of industry to the interior and the relative stability of Brazil more foreign investment is attracted and several mixed companies begin to appear with both Brazilian and European capital. a new plan to expand the navy is finally put under way.

, Austria-Hungary, the Netherlands and Iberia, asking for their participation in an 'encirclement' of upstart Germany. Russia's earlier offer to give much of the Balkans to Astro-Hungarian control is reiterated, and she promises to help Austria-Hungary reclaim land at the expense of Germany and the Ottomans.
- Sorry ol' chum, but Russia and Austria-Hungary hate each other bitterly at this time.
- Russian Dip: SECRET messages are sent to France, Italy, Switzerland
Japan: We move our forces south as our army in Hong Kong destroys the bridges in making Hong Kong a total island again. We use our navy to begin supporting operations for any military willing to challenge the huge rebel army. in our colonies we begin to heavily develop the interior of Siam in hopes of bringing business and major benefits to the people of the Siamese interior.
Japanese secret: a small fleet of Japanese Ships is moored close to Vladivostok and begins scouts out the territory. We also deploy the Southern Army located in Siam with 60,000 Japanese and another 40,000 Siamese (100,000 Strong) to the French Indochina border. - Japan Secret: We agree.
- Mexican Diplomacy (SECRET): Mexico is currently a decent-sized power in the Americas, and we offer Germany an alliance as well as Japan.
- Japan SecretAs of right now due to current alliances that would mean Membership in the SDC. If you're willing to be placed under the Administration of Japan and China for all major Coalition operations and acting fairly then you're allowed in.
- Mexican Secret: We agree. And we send 150,000 troops to Germany.
Switzerland: Being Switzerland, we declare neutrality. The fortifications (walls between mountains) are completed.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. The railroad finishes from Harbin to Beijing and from Shanghai to Wuhan. Oil refineries are built in Shinjiang. 180,000 Yangtze and Xiang Army attacks the last 150,000 rebels in the rebel held Nanning city controlled by rebels. British loyalists and Japanese armies support the attack and comes to aid with 60,000 soldiers. Asks Japanese player to help make another algorithm. The general commanding in the Siege of Beijing is given the Red Dragon Emblem, with a fire dragon with three claws on the emblem. All captains fighting in the battle and surviving was given the Red emblem, symbolizing bravery. Another captain, who sacrificed himself igniting a room full of gunpowder, which killed 253 rebels, was given the taizhi emblem as respect. To celebrate the victory, the emperor gave a special order: The Forbidden Palace will be demolished and rebuilt with a smaller royal palace, but a Royal University, Scientific Laboratory, Foreign Embassies and nine ministries. I'll start doing algorithms for the majority of them. With my dropping PM2, I'm free. :D -Dean

However, Germany gains another local ally as the Closely Tied Austria-Hungary struck an alliance with Germany. To the Dutch, calm down on the Dynastic Unions. They don't happen as often as you'd like. It's allowed but that's one of the last ones.
- I know. It just so happens that Queen Wilhelmina and Prince (now King) Albert were of the same age, and they both were either the reigning or heir to the throne. Its not like I can have another one anytime soon, anyways. This has also been some time in the works.Reximus55(talk) 00:41, May 30, 2013 (UTC)

- Russian Dip: Offers to help Austria-Hungary gain control of Constantinople in return for switching sides. Repeats offers to Italy and Iberia. SECRET messages sent to the US
Argentina is currently allied with them in the SDC why would they do that in general?
Because they may have more to gain from switching sides.
Austria-Hungary is allied to Germany and Germany is a member of the SDC.
Japan: Military forces are given a majority break and the army on the border of French Indochina is lax as they see no threat. However, constant watch is in place just in Case. We work on the Industrial and Agricultural potential of Korea and Siam heavily using new Railroads and Farming methods to produce more food in order to feed the populace. Japanese population approaches 130 million between it and its colonies. Thousands more Japanese immigrate to the Philippines the population cresting one million. Military researchers make a large development in the use of oil. It can be refined to a degree and used to fuel machinery. Japan begins to research into the oil-fueled engine. Japan produces another dreadnought to add to its fleet along with two more cruisers and a frigate. The Army is expanded to around 600,000 men and the Army in Korea is armed with the new generation of machine guns as well as New rifles.
- Japanese Dip: We ask the Austrians to hold back and not switch sides.
Germany: Continues aiding the Austro-Hungarians. Counters the Russian advance, stating that Russians 'spin a web of lies' to trap their prey and uses the fear of Russian invasion to aid that statement. Discreetly sends German strategists over to Japan to discuss future plans. The military is worked upon and drilled relentlessly. We wish to aid Japan in their research with oil.
- SECRET German Dip: We ask the United Kingdom to join us in planning an anti-Russia imitative, noting the hostile tone they've taken to our nations.

UK:we continue the blockade of France we send a force of
600,000 200,000 to Germany to help them fight the Russians.
Mod: from my understanding the British empire did not have that many actual British troops it was around 360,000 at its peak. The British had won all their major engagements previously and were a Naval power. they relied on their naval power to take on their enemies.
SECRET UK Dip: We call our allies to discuss creation of new tatics and to create prototype weapons.
China Secret Dip: Sends our op generals and military scientists. Gives UK a plan for an armoured artillery vehicle.
Japan Secret Dip: In the case of gonflict and the interests of a well mannered and now powerful Japanese Empire we ask that we retain our Agreement with China for Vietnam, and also get the Dutch colonies in Oceania as the Germans and British already retain colonies there. We also stake our claim with the Original Chinese Agreement that Kamchatka, and much of eastern Siberia go to Japan in the case of a major invasion or the Surrender of Russia, and the Outer Manchuria go to the Chinese. However, all dealings with the European half of Russia by proxy go to the Germans and British.
Brazil: Seeing the growing tensions in Europe and a chance to begin their plans declares full support for Bratian, Germany and Japan and requests an alliance in case war breaks out, in exchange for Brazilian support, the French and Dutch Guyanas are requested. troops are slowly mobilized to get ready for war, Industrial growth continues and slowly the industrial capacity of the nation is turned towards a military production based one. Propaganda begins stating the place for Brazil is amongst the great powers and even a minor conflict could boost Brazilian prestige abroad. The Imperial navy continues its expansion as does the army. with the continued growth of immigrants the countres population slowly continues to grow. the education campaign continues with large success.
Japan Dip: We accept the Brazilian alliance and their claim to the Guyanas.
Mod: Algorithm has been edited just a bit, not to much a naval algorithm with be developed soon as well. Occupied nations and and war weariness.
North America: US's declare supposed neutrality on the matter and wait for it to develop.
South America: Brazil now looks outward to the world for its prestige world wide and begins flaunting some of its new found power.
Europe: Russia's current allies are France and the Netherlands. The Ottomans, seeing Russia could be occupied with Germany sometime soon, signs an alliance with Germany and Austria-Hungary. Italy signs an alliance with Germany as well.
With these two new nations joining Germany's Alliance, cooler heads prevail and a conference in Madrid agrees to halt all buildup and hand control of mod events in Europe and Asia over to DeanSims, as this is ridiculous.
No it isn't. It's called ALTERNATIVE HISTORY for a reason, The whole point is it's not supposed to continue down the set road. Wouldn't you also think that Germany and Britain, competing powers, would be allies? Just because you think it's implausible doesn't mean it is to everyone else.
Mod who wrote that, Fedulagee or something, you're no longer a mod, you've continuously overexpanded as Japan and made implausible mod events. Therefore, your mod powers are removed. However, you can still play the game.
You don't own this game, DEAN. Seiga does.
Calm down. Also, now I think I remember your username. But I'm higher than you on mod ladder. I'm taking over mod events. End of story. Appeal my removal of mod powers to Siega, he allows you to be mod, it will be the final word.
Also, that is untrue. You never made a head mod position hence you don't get that kind of say. You're just making it so now I'll nitpick your events. You can't take over events effectively because you're only on three times a week.
Asia: All is relatively peaceful for the first time in years as the major powers in the Area look to rebuild from the Chinese rebellion.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy. Elections take place and soon Francisco Bernabé Madero becomes President.

Mexico: We build up military and now have an army of 550,000 men. The Mecican military begins training in every climate it can, with training in guerrilla warfare being made mandatory. The Mexican industrial output is now 13 times the size it was in 1890. Technology research continues.
Russia: Confusion reigns at the Tsar's palace in St. Petersburg, due to conflicting reports about the state of alliances in Europe, many of which are incoherent. Nicholas makes public statements invoking his father's reputation as 'The Peacemaker' and promising that he is motivated only by the maintenance of the balance of power in Europe. Tsargrad nears completion, as does the Trans-Siberian railroad.
Otto von Bismark, disgusted by his treatment at the ands of Wilhelm II, arrives in St. Petersburg and is embraced by the imperial family, who make him a top advisor.
That is implausible in the fullest, anyone here would agree with that
It was worth a try.
Japan: Following major victories in China we begin a large R&D development of wheeled vehicles powered by our new oil fueled engine. We also begin major industrialization of Northern Korea. Following this we begin major combat drills all throughout Korea with new Korean Divisions in order to facilitate the United power of Japan and her colonies instead of just Japan proper. We begin development of heavier-than-air flight using oil. However, a breakthrough looks to be years away. Japanese strategist meet with visiting German military strategists and offer to work on strategy as planned but do not plan on Commiting to the War for a few more years due to Japan's current racial Instability.
Japan Dip: We offer major trade agreement with the Russians and work on making closing a Diplomatic relationship with Russia in an attempt to avoid a Major Global war. We also ask Germany and Russia to Step down from their militant Policies and work on peaceful coexistence. No amount of Nationalism will be good for any of the European countries. many will die and this is not something I wish to see happen. We also ask Brazil to stand down from any and all operations planned in order to make up for any decreasing tensions
Brazil: Brazilian troop are mobilized and prepared to invade French andDutch Guyana in the worst situation should they attack Germany or the German allies. Industrialization continues at a strong pace and the settlement of the interior continues. Recognition of the black efforts in the civil war are formally giving in a public monument in the centre of Rio along with a military parade of the Mulato and Afro-Brazilian units that fought in the war. Naval expansion continues with work on Brazil's first modern battleship starting.
United Iberian Kingdoms: Morocco and its region are sent Catholic missionaries and they continue to establish influence in the area. The Portuguese Crown Prince is forced to stop courting the French Crown Princess by his father, the king. Saying that the UIK doesn't need to get involved in French Politcs. However; the courting continues.

The Chinese Museum of History begins attracting visitors by the thousands. Rebuilds damaged areas from the civil war. 100,000 cavalry are stationed in Mongolia, Manchuria and Uyghur. The first Chinese car is built. Spies are dispatched to foreign countries to attract inventors and scientists to China for state-fund. Targets to attract includes: Nikola Tesla, due to his magical electrical experiments and inventions, Graham Bell for his telephone, Marcolini, due to his radio experiments, which China believe can help the people react faster to wars and natural disasters and Henry Ford, due to China's recent automobile studies. Asks for another Sino-Japanese meeting in Sineuiju-si, a city on the Chinese-Japanese border.
Netherlands: Queen Wilhelmina and King Albert continue to rule the Greater Netherlands. Their popularity is widespread, but there begins to be some unease as the world appears to prepare for war. Indonesian oil is regularly exported. Suriname, Congo, Madagascar, and the Dutch Antilles all grow plantations and wealth producing cash crops.
Dutch SECRET Diplomacy: Unwary about their situation with Russia, Queen Wilhelmina and King Albert personally travel to Wilhelm II and ask if they can sign an agreement that would put them on the German side of the Russo-German War. (I didn't know a war was coming. I guess that's what happens when you are busy and don't read everyone else's posts.)
C'mon man, at this rate it's going to be a Russo-everyone else war. Map games aren't about 'winning' anyway. Live a little.
- '*Russian Diplomacy: 'Tsar Nicholas II sends the following messages to the leaders of the world:
- *'**To the Emperor of Brazil:'My fellow enlightened monarch, I must admit that at first I believed it would be useless to reason with you. My advisors, however, assured me that you were among the most honorable and rational of men. As I am sure you realize, these are trying times that we are in, and the very fate of the world may well hang in the balance. From one leader to another, I implore you to declare neutrality in case a war in Europe does break out. My reasoning for this is twofold. First, I recognize that the mightily growing nations of the Americas represent the future, and I would hate to see their hopes dashed by Europe's suicidal tendencies. Secondly, and with all due respect, getting involved in the affairs of the Eastern Hemisphere would be very hypocritical after your recent statements about keeping other powers out of the Western Hemisphere. The time may well come when Brazil's decisions will affect not only Europe but the whole world, but that time has not yet come.
- '**To the King of Italy: 'My brother in faith, I lament that our saintly ancestors parted ways so long ago. The time has come, however, for nations to chose sides and part ways once again. To my utmost dismay, I do not know where you stand '(The mods said italy was on Russia's side, but then they changed them over to Germany, and they seem to be having their ownl war right now)'However, I would be devastated to see you arrayed with my enemies. I fervently hope that we can join forces and restore the balance of power to Europe.
- '**To Queen Wilhemina and King Albert: 'You are among my closest and most treasured allies. Without your aid, I fear that our worst fears will be realized: the British and Germans will go unchecked and pick the nations off one by one until none of us remain.
- **To the Iberian Monarchs:Both our nations usedto be the greatest of the world, but now we are in dire straights thanks to the dreaded union of the United Kingdom and Germany. Therefore I offer, and hope fervently that you accept, a military alliance between our nations. I know not whether I offer you victory or defeat, but I assure you that if I stand by we will all come to ruin.
Mod: Dean and I have agreed no major first world war type thing until at least 1905. So cool your heels, Guys.
Africa: Minor things have happens mostly between tribal warfare etc etc the Colonies recover from the previous drought
Europe: Following increased tensions it has been said that many people are afraid of the conflict possibly about to happen and want it to cool off. These prayers are answered as the Diplomatic summit in Spain cools down most tension if only for a few years
North America: Most people in the US seem to be believing in Isolationism, but albeit a very strong Isolationism in order to protect US interest that is it. However, Mexico's increased industrial output has caused a medium sized economic boom as most nations are looking for industry from anywhere.
South America: Brazil now seeing the decreasing hostility in Europe holds back and bides its Time.
Asia: Most nations in Asia have gone about their business even with the tensions in Europe.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy.
Japan: We allow more colonization of the Philippines and embark on an aggressive research and development campaign into useful technology for the military and the people of the country. The first Armored Car is built in Japan facilitating many Generals to look at mechanized warfare rather than horse warfare.
Switzerland: We begin to work towards making an armoured wheeled vehicle, but we swiftly decide that early designs for heavy powerful vehicles don't fit with our terrain. We decide to trade off the strength of armour for speed, because we won't need to be strong if we can dodge round mountains. We also need to make the gun more accurate over longer distance. We will be able to begin production in 1900, in the meantime, we start to build factories.
Brazil: the army is demobilized and but tensions remain high across the northern border as Dutch, French and Brazilian troops stand off looking to see if anything happens, Brazilian troops are told to stand down by the government though as any major conflict would bring in other powers. Industrialization and educational expansion continue, with the interior receiving their first schools.
Germany graciously accepts the Dutch offer of alliance. Meanwhile in early June, Wilhelm II finds Otto von Bismarck and, in the light of recent events, apologizes. Bismarck is surprised, but he accepts. Bismarck agrees to think of a way to calm down the Russian behemoth, and he manages to do so for at least a few years. Germany holds a conference with its European allies to propose a "Central European Pact" to help organize and work out alliances. Military research continues, bolstered by allies' help. We approach Switzerland and Japan to purchase some of their armored vehicles at a reasonable price they can set.
Japan Mil: We allow for these purchases, how many do you want to test with as they are not truly combat ready. Another outlook on these vehicles could really be used in order to improve them.
German Dip: We request five vehicles to start with and will be willing to aid you in testing them.
UK: We begin to work on mechanized warfare. we recruit 10,000 more men.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. The railroad finishes from Harbin to Xuzhou and Xiangyang and from Wuhan to Chengdu. Coal mines are improved in Shaanxi. Scientific development flourishes and the extra food obtained using industrialised ethods of farming is shared between the people, increasing their happiness. The Chinese Museum of History finds artIfacts that prove the Shang Dynasty's existence. Rebuilds damaged areas from the civil war. More defensive structures on built in the Sino-Russian Border. The first Chinese Armoured Vehicle is built. Continue attracting inventors and scientists to China for state-fund. Targets to attract includes: Nikola Tesla, due to his magical electrical experiments and inventions, Graham Bell for his telephone, Marconi due to his radio experiments, which China believe can help the people react faster to wars and natural disasters, and Henry Ford, due to China's recent automobile studies.
Russia: The nation celebrates the completion of the grand city of Tsargrad. 400,000, mostly factory workers, have settled in the city that boasts canals, streetcars, and is home to one-third of Russia's industrial production. The St. Cyril Academy of the Arts and Sciences and the Imperial Military Institute both open in the city. The city's chapter of the Marxist Russian Social Democratic Labor Party becomes the country's largest, with a Vladimir Ulaynov among the members. Nicholas orders the telegraph cables in his palace checked due to the fact that no one replied to his telegrams earlier in the year, and re-sends them.
Africa: Nothing interesting has happened, moderate population growth.
Europe: Many people are very split nationalistically along the lines that Germany and Britain shouldn't be working together. Large Anti=sentiment for both sides is present due to their conflicting interests.
Americas: Moderate economic growth with major population boom in the United States. Mechanized vehicles are perfected by American inventors prompting automobiles to start replacing the horse and buggy as the primary mode of transport.
Asia: Japan, utilizing its own success, has created one of the first military applicable mechanized units. However, it remains extremely expensive to produce and many see it as currently impractical for warfare.
- Argentina:Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy.
- China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. The railroad finishes from Harbin to Hefei and Xian and from Wuhan to Qamdo. Oil refineries are improved in Shinjiang. Harvests increase in 30%. The Chinese Museum of History finds artifacts of the first Chinese characters. Rebuilds damaged areas from the civil war. More defensive structures on built in the Sino-Russian Border. The first Chinese Mechanized Armoured Vehicle is built. Telegram system improves.

- I'm withdrawing from this map game. I feel it's going to get really ASB in the next few years. Do as you wish with Brazil. I've left it on a strong path. Nkbeeching
''Russia: Work on railroads Siberia continue. The first Russian dreadnought, Imperatritsa Mariya, launches in the Baltic and its sister ship in the Black Sea is close to completion. Construction on Imperatritsa Caterina begins in the Baltic. Russian diplomats entreat the Dutch to open talks with them, promising the moon if an alliance could be renewed. Nicholas calls for a summit in Tsargrad in 1900 to discuss the road Russia should take in the next century.
Germany begins a propaganda campaign, promoting the 'shared Germanic history' between the nations. It is reminded that the Angles came from Schleswig-Holstein. Insulting the German nation or its allies becomes a criminal offense. The navy is expanded, with the construction of a dreadnought in the vein of the Imperatritsa Mariya beginning. Meanwhile, the army is given top-of-the-line weaponry, and an investigation into flight and the military applications thereof commences.
Japan: Increasing major industrial growth we abandon mechanized warfare for the time being as too expensive and begin buying American Automobiles to free up our industry for other projects.
Japan Dip: We offer talks between Russia and Germany in the Imperial Capital to discuss the major issues the two nations are still having.
Mexico: Mexico now has a military of 735,000 men. Also due to continuous research we reach early 1900s technology. Mexico, seeing that it will need to do this sooner or later, annexes its puppets in Central America. Mexico also builds up industry and roads etc. Sets up its own automobile factories and by the year's end will mass produce our own cars. The assembly line is invented by Jose Guanco and this allows the total revolution in production of products. The new assembly line begins to be put to use on weapons as well.
Africa: The Ottoman Rmpire enjoys a new period of prosperity as measures taken to ensure this have taken effect well.
Europe: Russian and German diplomats have been sent for a conference in Tokyo to try to mitigate the current issues the two powers face.
Americas: Brazil acquires a new leader as the US expands its military in favor of a strong isolationist policy. Brazil does around the same thing. However, forces near Guyana still remain on station.
Asia: China rebuilds more and a peace summit is held in Tokyo to talk about the Issues between Russia and Germany.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy.
OE: With the property enjoyed are people revel in freedom and we use the money to improve all cities and build some new ports to ship out are new oil refined from the Arab Peninsula and we contact global arms deal to hold a weapon fair in Istanbul.
Switzerland: We have completed the factories necessary for the production of the Military Automobiles,
Now known as a 'Panzer' (Swiss/German for Tank). By 1900 we will begin producing them en masse. At the moment we only have a few.
Even with our tech just a bit ahead we haven't had the need. As in mechanized, we're talking about armored cars, etc. No Tanks yet. Nobody has the tech to build a viable tank yet
It's just a name ...
Netherlands: Queen Wilhelmina and King Albert continue to rule the Greater Netherlands. They move to look at Luxembourg, and the military grows in preparation for war, should war be needed. Indonesian oil is regularly exported. Suriname, Congo, Madagascar, and the Dutch Antilles all grow plantations and wealth producing cash crops.
- We offerLuxembourgto join the Greater Netherlands, or else we will declare war.
- Netherlands Diplomacy: We ask Germany, France, Russia, and England not to interfere with the Luxembourg affair, unless they want to convince Luxembourg to join peacefully.
Japan: We ask begin preparing for a summit hoping for Russia to declare its intentions and join. Japanese naval forces are spotted off the Dutch East Indies. Infrastructure is improved heavily and military buildup continues.
- Japan Dip: We ask the Netherlands not to declare war in Europe right now due to the volatile situation between all the powers and wait until after these are solved before going around trying to unite small parts into a country. Japan threatens military invasion of the East Indies unless they comply and hold off on their military action.
- Netherlands: We just want to unite the Benelux region and Low Countries. We have offered a peaceful option, but if they reject. they are bringing the war upon themselves.
- Russian Dip: We support the Dutch claim, and criticize the Japanese for their hypocrisy in expanding their empire in Asia while at the same time criticizing European expansion.
- 'Japan Dip: We are criticizing the Dutch for the very untimely act of trying to do this. The Dutch sit in the middle of a powder keg ready to blow and the Japanese are attempting to defuse the situation with Germans and Russians meeting the Tokyo to discuss the issues, and with preventing anyone from starting undue conflict without the situation being correct. Japan took advantage of the faltering situations to expand rather than just declare a people un willing to cooperate and crush them. If that was our creed we would have fallen flat on our face years ago. Japan is merely asking the Dutch to wait for an opportune moment rather than a brute force of strength in which it may alienate other nations. Offer incentives to join the Greater Netherlands not a single bad reason of being militaristic. Besides the Russians have no room to Speak, they build weapons and railroads while their people beg for food and water.
- German Dip: We warn the Dutch to proceed with caution. As the Japanese said, one minor incident could blow up all of Europe. However, we will not interfere beyond that.
Russia: Industrialization in Tsargrad, Moscow, and St. Petersburg continues but the rest of the country remains unchanged. Top brass and military advisors alike scoff at the idea of an automobile having any effect on the battlefield. Nicholas will ignore the Japanese insults this once, and participate in the Tokyo conference.
Germany defends its ally, stating that Russian aggression is what caused this political time bomb. We attend Tokyo reluctantly, not wanting to deal with "Russian idiocy". Naval ships, particularly battleships, begin construction. The military is upgraded so as to far exceed Russian standards by 1905. Major cities are industrialized. Military strategists spend days thinking up of ways to do what Napoleon failed to do: invade Russia. It's seen as an eerily possible scenario. Of Tsar Nicholas, Wilhelm said, "I loathe the tsar. A foolish man if I ever met one. He neglects his people so badly I wouldn't be surprised if they overthrew him within twenty years."
UK: Navy is built up - a quiet year.
Africa: Minor unrest over the faults of colonial leadership forces European nations to rethink how they treat African colonies
Europe: The Dutch war against Luxembourg threatens to light a match on the powder keg that is Europe simply because it is a war. People automatically take sides while a peace summit elsewhere still tries to keep war at bay
North America: The Wright Brothers begin their quest for heavier-than-air flight. They are not sure when they will accomplish this - if ever.
South America: Brazil increases its strength as it attempts to get to around the same level as its Northern Brother, the US.
Asia: A population boom leaves China and Japan trying to solve a growing food crisis.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy.
Russia: Nicholas reaffirms his support for the Dutch acquisition (It's not a war yet, perhaps the mods should decide what Luxembourg's response is) and says that it's only a 'powder keg' if that's what people make it out to be. The Russian navy is upgraded so as to far exceed German standards by 1906. The Tsar returns from the summit, disgusted at the obstinance exhibited there by the Germans, and turns to domestic matters. The council in Tsargrad convenes, with the Imperial Family, aristocrats, church leaders, businessmen, reformists, and scientists all present, but notably Communist groups were not invited.
Germany: Germany announces its support to the Netherlands, its 'strong ally' in the words of Wilhelm II. Wilhelm criticizes Nicholas for not realizing just how big a problem this may become, should the Luxembourgers be foolish. The German delegation in Tokyo are disgusted by Russia's attempt to portray themselves sympathetically. The military is built up, while the army is trained on how to fight in Russian climates. The navy continues its rapid expansion. Early heavier-than-air aircraft are failures, though there are some promising discoveries. The Wright Brothers are also monitored closely. Work with automobiles and armored cars continue. Meanwhile, a network of spies is set up, though their locations are kept secret by only the top officials. Even the Emperor is not certain.
Japan: Korea Petitions to be part of Japan as an Imperial State and not a colony. While cautious, the Emperor grants a brief two year period in which Korea can govern itself on state matters but in which Japan remains in control as the Federal Government. Japan begins to improve the quality of its troops rather than numbers and begins huge retraining programs in order to facilitate this. Siamese infrastructural projects are completed as Japanese and Siamese alike are settling the interior of the country and gearing it towards agricultural production. The Philippines, while previously only a resource base and immigration for Japan, becomes a large naval base that is now becoming the Japanese dry dock replacing quite a few military ship production areas in Japan proper and having them in the Philippines. Japan significantly increases the expenditures on its navy to outpace the Germans and Russians by 1906 and be on par with the British Navy by 1910. Massive Technological advances are made in the Naval field allowing for larger ships to be built instead of the Awkward and cumbersome ships that are produced by most nations as of late. Oil is applied to a Ships Engines facilitating major power increase for Japanese Naval ships and hence a state of the art dreadnought and two new state of the art cruisers. These ships are to be the basis of the Japanese Navy for the next 20 years until new evolving technology allows for the building of better ships. Japan looks at both Germany and Russia with contempt as they were unable to solve their issues and contemplates staying neutral in the coming conflict and pulling China's support with it.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. The railroad finishes from Harbin to Guanzhou and from Wuhan to Lhasa. Oil refineries are improved in Shinjiang. Rebuilds damaged areas from the civil war. More defensive structures on built in the Sino-Russian Border. Mechanics are now studying a new propelling of driving vehicles. Can the mod tell me if the scientists came to China? Telegram system improves and is built with the railroad. More money and brain power is spent on harvesting methods.
You're telling me that a bunch of Western scientists and entrepreneurs who don't even speak Chinese just packed up and went to China? Seriously?
Yeah, I'm skeptical about Ford but not Tesla purely because Tesla was desperate for investors, etc. So no to Ford, Yes to Tesla (sorry to contradict Dean but I have to agree about Ford. The man was pure-blooded American to the core and wouldn't go investing in another country's automobiles if his own he was building at home would be 100% better because of top notch American factories) Feudalplague (talk) 20:05, June 5, 2013 (UTC)
Mexico: Military is built up and the army reaches 800,000 men. Mexico also declares war on Colombia, and invades the two nations. Panama and most of Colombia is easily secured within a little while since Colombia's corrupt regime is hated by the people. Mass production of cars and other weapons continues. Research into flight also continues. Panama, which was still part of Colombia, becomes a Mexican state as does Colombia, which becomes five states, and construction of the Panama Canal begins. Also seeing how Mexico now spans from North America all the way into South America, it is decided a name change is needed, and it is declared that Mexico is forever re-organized into the United States of Latin America (USLA). We send a new diplomat to all nations around the world. The capitol is moved from Mexico City to Managua in the state of Nicaragua, as to make the capitol as close to USLA's center as possible.
Columbia is kinda big, Dean. You don't get all if it in one turn.
Netherlands: We declare war on Luxembourg, with the backing of both Russia and Germany. We cite this as a way to improve international relations, and dampen the powder keg, since both superpowers can agree that this is good and OK. We ask Japan to leave us alone, since we are solely expanding our nation to its former size. Suriname, Congo and Madagascar all grow their economies through agriculture and plantations, while Indonesian oil continues to flow. We simply stomp through Luxembourg, and by the start of summer we have them annexed into the Greater Netherlands.
Africa: Nothing much has happened. Tensions have cooled off.
Europe: War breaks out quickly as Luxembourg is taken by the Dutch with much criticism from the British and French but not the Germans or Russians.
Americas: Mexico makes its first moves in a war against Columbia. The lack of speedy transport forces the Mexican army to extend itself trying to take the Entire country. While this can be done, it isn't done easily as Guerrillas still remain afterwards.
Asia: Agricultural action saves Japan from famine. However, China suffers a massive earthquake in the South causing raging fires. Japanese Siam also suffers from this and a few cities suffer large amounts of damage.
Switzerland: We begin to produce the Armoured Automobiles en masse, and use them to patrol behind our fortifications, which are now fully operational.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. The railroad finishes and the first train runs on the railroad. Oil refineries are improved in Shinjiang. Rebuilds damaged areas from the civil war and the earthquake. 10% of the GDP is taken out to help the victims from the earthquake. The army is sent to the areas to extinguish the fires. More defensive structures on built in the Sino-Russian Border. Mechanics continues studying a new propelling of driving vehicles. Telegram system improves and is built with the railroad. Some English-Speaking Chinese are sent to Tesla's house to help him learn Chinese. Also, the emperor gives him an assignment to build a machine that will improve the harvest by at least 50%. The emperor builds up the "NeiGe", a Chinese form of parliament, to 20 people instead of the original five.
Chinese Secret: The Neige issues a secret plan to allow Chinese spies, immigrants and diplomats to begin their own political paries in foreign nations, thereby damaging the nation's political control.
Russia: With the Tsargrad conferences now fully underway, the whole of the nation is aware that the future lays in the balance. Marxists riot on the streets of Moscow, Tsargrad and Volgograd, but are written off as radical factions by the tsar until his own brother, Michael, comes out in support of the socialists and is accepted into the conference as a moderate representative of the Marxist factions. This and internal disputes within the Marxists end their protests. Nicholas deals first with political issues so as to secure his power. He brings his Ukrainian subjects over into his camp by promising some industrialization projects there to free the Ukrainian economy from it agricultural dependence. Poland makes similar requests but are denied because of budget issues. Imperial advisors convince the Tsar that the Trans-Siberian is critical to the nation and he earmarks the money necessary for completion. In its second half, the conference will focus on military issues.
Germany: Fortifications are set up along the border of Russia, with more planned in the future. Construction on naval vessels continues, along with the manufacturing of armored vehicles. Factories nationwide are constructed. Heavier-than-air travel designs stay in the air for several seconds, with scientists in awe. Meanwhile, we try to not get too involved in the Netherlands conflict. We support revolutionaries in Russia, purely to weaken the Tsar.
Japan: We improve our infrastructure and begin reconstruction of the devastated parts of Siam. The timely action of Japanese authorities allows for no Siamese to question their leaders. Korean business in the south begins to outshine the more moderate Japanese businesses.
Japan Secret: Japanese Diplomats secretly create the Russian Ultranationalist party. The party begins a campaign of rapid recruitment and replacement of the corrupt lords of the Russian court. Whether this be accomplished through the Tsar, or through a civil war. Japanese traders and businessmen secretly fund and supply the Ultranationalists with weapons.
Europe: Light resistance in Luxembourg prompts generals to try to quell these with excessive force causing an incident with a few children being killed.
North America: Americans begin to become typically isolationist but a more expansionist party begins to come about.
South America: With Columbia falling to the Mexicans they still suffer thousands of consistant casualties with the Guerrilla warfare - among other things - hampering the Mexicans from establishing control the way they want to.
Asia: A large monsoon hits Korea and Northern China but causes flooding but minimal damage from other things.
UK: Naval forces are moved to the Netherlands to blockade the country. We create the AC MK 1.
Russian Dip: The Foreign Ministry watches with glee as Germany's 'ally' the United Kingdom' blockades its 'ally' the Greater Netherlands. Clearly the kaiser has some work to do.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army. More than 10,000 people have already traveled on the railroad. The Qing Government pardons the revolutionary Sun Yat-Sen and appreciated his political gifts. The government invites Sun to return to China as a member of the Neige. Oil refineries are improved in Shinjiang. Rebuilds damaged areas from the civil war, earthquake and flooding. 1% of the GDP is taken out annually as an emergency fund. A report is given on the Gross Domestic Product of all nations and the emperor was joyous due to China scoring the second largest country in terms of GDP. More defensive structures on built in the Sino-Russian Border. Mechanics continues studying a new propeling of driving vehicles and finishes an improved petrol engine. Tesla builds the world's first cultivator and an improved combine harvestor, which although is not as good as the emperor wanted to be was proved to be a great success and Tesla gave the industrial department exact instructions to build them. The emperor gave a second order- to invent a new way to move cars over hillly and irregular terrain. The six most prominent ministers of the NeiGe is chosen: Head Minister: Lee Hong Zhan, Economic Minister: Chen Du Shou, Justice: Li Wai Guo, Army Minister: Zuo Zong Tan, Naval Minister: Zhang Wen Tian and Diplomatic Minister: Chen Wen Duo.
China doesn't have a lot of cars yet. You didn't get Ford, remember. So you don't get huge amounts of cars like that for a while.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy.
Germany makes a statement against the Netherlands. The Kaiser states that, "All nations have the right to expansion. But when they use excessive force, that is unacceptable. A SECRET meeting is arranged with the United Kingdom to reconcile their alliance.
Japan: We begin the large exploitation of oil for new engines and military equipment as well as for factories and power plants. We begin to repair damage done from natural disasters.
Nothing for today. I don't have time to write the events so nothing much happened. You're all good to post.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army to one million men. More than 100,000 people have already traveled on the railroad. Lee Hong Zhan dies to the sorrow of the people and the emperor, after mourning for two days, Li Wai Guo, the Grand Justice becomes the Main minister. Sun becomes the new Grand Justice. Sun begins advising the NeiGe to allow the people to have a say in the government and the result is a People's NeiGe, or Ren Min Nei Ge. A representative will be elected from each province for each million people, then they will be replaced every five years. Chen, the Economic Minister, begins using Communist thought to influence the nation's economy, including a primitive social fund. Oil refineries are improved in Shinjiang. The population reaches 500 million and the emperor begins more laws that prompt birth. More defensive structures on built in the Sino-Russian Border. Tesla perfects the caterpillar tracks and is given a brief break by the emperor around the Yangtze river.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy.
Japan: Japan conducts military-wide drills in the case of a major conflict involving the entire nation. Infrastructure and economic opportunity are expanded.
Netherlands: The Dutch economy grows rapidly this year. In Indonesia, the Dutch Royal Shell (Shell Gasoline) is created, and soon becomes the most notable provider of petroleum in the Greater Netherlands. Meanwhile, Sylvain de Jong creates Minerva Automobiles, which is a rival automobile company with established Imperia, Metallugique and Spyker. In order to compete with the older brands, de Jong begins to experiment with different ways to produce cars efficiently. In Madagascar, Suriname, and the Congo, plantations increase in size and wealth, and efforts are made to support the Dutch language.
UK: Declares war on Russia and France with forces stationed in Germany taking Warsaw after two months and we land at Normandy and we take Normandy in three weeks.
- TheNetherlandspromises supplies to the UK if we can have Nord-Pais-de-Calais, Picardie and parts of Champagne-Ardennes and Lorraine.
Switzerland: We remain neutral, and ask that the warring nations try to sort this out diplomatically, we would be willing to host a peace conference. We build up trade, and offer trade agreements with everyone in Europe. We also begin to tone down our military, and reduce much of it to Reserves. Secret: We begin to fund pro-UK guerrilla movements in Southern France, but they cannot be tracked back to us.
Africa: Not much has happened.
Europe: Small scale riots crop up in most nations over the nationalistic policies of many European nations.
Asia: Positive economic growth has been facilitated by the Asian nations but still have quite a long way to go before reaching full modernization
Americas: Mexico still suffers massive issues in Columbia from trying take the country by force, especially in what is seen as a perceived occupation.
Germany joins Great Britain and declares war on Russia and France and urges its allies to as well. German forces push deep into Poland. Militarized "aeromobiles" (airplanes) begin to be researched. In France, a 'blitz charge' towards Paris begins, hoping to nip them off at the bud. African colonial troops mobilize against French Africa. Military research takes top priority.
Do the Algo, dude. You don't get anything without it.
Also, planes aren't even invented yet. The Wright Brothers have not invented them yet and it has to be at least within two years of their original flight date to even develop flight technology on ANY scale. so your research will almost literally get you nowhere.
I haven't had time to do the algorithm. When I do, I'll do it then. Germany has been researching heavier-than-air aircraft for years, before the Wright Brothers even started. This is a continuation of that research.Doctor Evulz (talk) 10:29, June 13, 2013 (UTC)
So have I. You don't get any huge tech like that almost eight to ten years early. You gotta be plausible.
My view is that as it is only lone year before the Wright Brothers invented flight, the planes are plausible, and it depends on the definition of 'militarized' is, if it means like WWI level, then I agree that is implausible, but if it is just giving the pilot bombs to drop from the cockpit, or something similar, I don't see a problem
Other than the fact that it wouldn't work.. you can't just have a guy heave bombs over the side of his flimsy ass aircraft and expect it to do anything. The decision stands, no militarized planes that work that kind of way until at least 1910. Now for scouting purposes, that will work but for much else they are useless.
Man aiming a pistol? Still technically a militarized plane.
Japan: Japan ignores declaring war and attacks French Indochina with complete surprise with 140,000 troops with another 60,000 on the way. Japanese Infrastructure is heavily militarized in case of war with Russia, following the surprise attack Japan declares war on France. Japanese forces are wary of Russia but do not attack.
French forces begin to collapse in Indochina as they try to deal with fighting worldwide. Most forces have advanced deep into Vietnam meeting Chinese counterparts in Hanoi. Japanese forces corner the remaining French soldiers in Southern French Indochina
Japan Secret Dip: We ask for a non-aggression pact with Russia as we refuse to:
1. be in a war that will jeopardize our existance as a nation.
2. fight a war with a nation we have no issues with and that has started over nationalistic policies..
We wish you the best in your conflicts with the European powers but we do not wish to hamper Russia's very large domestic populaton advantage against their foes.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army to one million men. Zuo Zong Tan dies to the sorrow of the people and the emperor. After mourning for two days, Huang Xing succeeds Zuo as the Army Minister. Beijing electrical systems are finally built, with street lights on every road. Oil refineries are improved in Shinjiang. More defensive structures on built on the Sino-Russian Border. Tesla invents a high-tech irrigation system. Chinese scientists build the first Chinese factory in Beijing, with an output of 100 kg of steel every day. Declares war on France and 300,000 soldiers are sent down to attack French Indochina. Ask Japan to give Vietnam to China, while Japan can have Laos and Cambodia.
Japan response: No can do. I invaded first and have much more territory and we had a pre-existing agreement on the situation. Not to mention I literally invaded across the entire border.
Chinese Secret Dip: We ask Russia for a non-aggression treaty stating the fact that both of us can destroy each other's army if we venture into enemy territory.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy.
UK: forces continue to push into France
as we take Paris in four months of trench warfare.
No you don't. Do the algo. French resistance would be huuuuuuuge, like it's their home country. They would have hundreds of thousands and would be recruiting troops to stop you.
Switzerland: We attempt to appeal to the common sense of the rest of Europe, as if they do not reign themselves in, they will destroy each other. We up the number of troops on the border wall, and begin to fortify the cities.
Africa: The French colonies are heavily prepared for German attacks making it much more difficult for the Germans to take them.
Europe: France has a few nations fighting it so it applies the policy of Total war drafting almost a million men in addition to the 600,000 troops it has in order to combat the threat on many fronts. the UK and Germans meet stiff resistance from French on all fronts as the French navy tries to deal with the UK navy on a global basis with limited success. Russian forces Take Warsaw pushing the British forces back as their military is heavily deployed along their European front curbing much of the military efforts of the Germans and British.
America: The neutrality of most American nations is quite unsettling as it could upset the balance of the war in just a short moment and cause massive reprcussions worldwide.
Asia: With all forces in French Indochina collapsing fast the generals in the area agree that they want to save their soldiers for another day and surrender to the majority Japanese forces on the agreement they get to go home to France. However, their intentions are more geared towards fighting in France to maintain it as their home.
Japan: We accept the French surrender of Indochina as much of the area is under Japanese control. Military forces are posted up to prevent public rioting in the streets and to try to begin integration immediately. Japanese forces enter Hanoi and request the Chinese leave Indochina as it was surrendered to the Japanese. Japan begins keeping privateers and ships off the Russian coast to maintain Pacific integrity. Military forces are increased to keep pace with the escalating European conflict and is to reach near one million men fully trained by the end of the year. (this is only adding an additional couple of hundred thousand.)
Japan Dip: We ask that China please leave Indochina per the agreement we made beforehand and per the surrender of the colony to Japan.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army to one million men. Shanghai electrical system is finally built, with street lights on every road. Oil refineries are improved in Shinjiang. More defensive structures are built on the Sino-Russian Border. Tesla is given a tour around Shinjiang. Chinese scientists begin researching into automatic automobile building. The 300,000 soldiers leaves French Indochina and proceed to Mongolia. The population reaches 430 million, turning China into the most populous nation in the world, even more than the British and French colonial empires combined.
Mod: Just editing to be consistent. China's population couldn't have jumped that much.
Japan Response: We thank China for their understanding and their voluntary leaving of Indochina.
China Secret Dip: We are preparing for a war with Russia and we hope the Japanese Imperial Navy can assist us.
Japan Secret Dip: Possibly. However, it all hinges on how Russia handles the situation in Europe in which it had an almost decided manpower advantage. Japan
also has not been a fan of the European powers as of late for their warmongering and wishes to see them stall out in their attempt to tackle an enemy which has not only soldiers that can kill them but an extremely volatile environment. We ask you to hold off on war with Russia and pursue diplomatic reasoning with them for the time being.
Chinese Secret Dip: We agree to your agreement, but we hope that our German ally won't face total destruction.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy.
France: France drafts a further 400,000 more men into the military. We ask for assistance in the war from the USA and the Netherlands.
- German Secret Dip: Our war is not with you. We ask to forge a separate peace.
- French Secret Dip: We agree to a peace treaty with Germany.
Switzerland: Please stop this madness! Have a peace conference, talk it out, and if not, leave us out of it, we are neutral in this war.
Germany: Is disappointed and angry at Japan for breaking their alliance. A massive draft goes into place, recruiting enough to break two million by the very end of the year. Forces begin withdrawing from France and re-deploying to the Russian front. Fortifications are still being constructed along both borders in case of invasion. Trenches are dug along the Russian border, as troops attempt to push farther and farther in. China is called upon to help, along with other allies, such as Austria-Hungary. German-Americans are called out to petition their leaders to support Germany. Tests on militarized aeromobiles are ultimately failures, as no prototypes can stay airborne long enough to successfully be used as bombers.
Japan Dip: The war on Russia is not a sanctioned action of the SDC and was not discussed thoroughly. The coalition is purely defensive and I refuse to support an action which is seen as an attack for no reason other than to harm reputation.
Africa: The war in Africa ends as France signs a peace treaty ending any further conflict.
Europe: The war in Europe continues as the Russian fortifications become much more extensive turning the war into a trench conflict making massed attacks hugely suicidal for little gain.
America: Brazil is poised to remain decidedly neutral as their military is beefed up to maintain their neutrality due to their military superiority. The US remains undecided as well.
Asia: Military buildup causes tension between many of the SDC nations as many of the European powers forces are focused on their war in Europe.
Japan: Japan moves its military up to 1.5 million supporting an enlarging navy as it constructs heavy warships outclassing most modern navies except the British. Economy is consoliated and retooled partially for war as we urge China to remain neutral to maintain the integrity of the SDC.
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy.
Germany: Secretary of Foreign Affairs Oswald von Richthofen sends a TOP SECRET telegram to China, promising "thousands upon thousands of miles of Russia's land, fully under your control" and states that "we and the United Kingdom will ensure victory". The 'aeromobile' program is officially scrapped. The navy sets up a blockade to prevent goods from entering Russia. A series of new battleships enter service, the largest of which is the SNS Otto von Bismarck. Trench warfare continues, as more fortifications are set up.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army to one million men. Chongqing and Nanking electrical system is finally built, with street lights on every road. Oil refineries are improved in Shinjiang. More defensive structures are built on the Sino-Russian Border and electrical equipment are first used on the wall, including a small electrical fence. Tesla, seeing that so many Chinese scientists are struggling, gave the Assembly Line concept, after reading about the construction of the TerraCotta Army, Venetian Warships and learning more about the conveyor belt. Tesla also finshed mastering the Chinese language and begins learning Japanese and Russian. Tells Germany that China can't declare war on Russia, but asks Germany to play a defensive war, using supplies from England and China and engage the Russians in a war of attrition. Sends a telegram to Germany advising them to station their troops near Minsk to capture Moscow. Sends another coded telegram to Germany about the full battle plan China advised for.
China Secret: The coded battle plan instead asks Germany to station their troops to capture the rich areas of Ukraine and the oil rich areas of Caucasus before attacking Tsargrad to force Russia into negotiations.
The Netherlands continue to grow their economy. It is a large trading power once more. The military is beefed up in preparation of war. Cars are now really popular, and everyone wants one. Congo, Suriname and Madagascar continue to grow in Dutch settlers and influence, and Shell in Indonesia continues to make a ton of money for the entire Kingdom. UPDATE: We declare war on Russia.
- The Netherlands asks France if we can have Nord-Pais-de-Calais, Picardie and parts of Champagne-Ardennes and Lorraine.
- Francedenies this request.
- Germanyasks the Netherlands to fight against the Russians, bringing up their shared Germanic heritage.
- TheNetherlandshas declared war on the Slavic pigs.
France drafts a further one million men into the military and invades Morocco after recent discoveries of large coal deposits in the country. UK: We continue to push into France. We take Versailles in a move to outflank Paris.
- Peru: Declares Itself neutral for any wars happening, and work on the economy begins.
United Iberian Kingdoms: Is neutral in the war. demands that France remove its forces from Morocco citing the many Iberians that have moved there and previously declared Iberian interests there. Expands the Navy.
Mod Event: Please do your algorithms, otherwise you will make no gains and it will be modded by me and will end exactly like WWI did, with Trench warfare, etc. The algorithm is on the talk page, which can be found up at the top.
Africa: Major inroads are made after the French loss in allowing for some semblance of self governance and their own standing militias and militaries.
Europe: The war continues but without German support the British forces are suffering from crippling attacks from a less distracted France. A German general suffers a massive wave of casualties following an unordered attack on Warsaw.
Americas: The US keeps up its neutrality in the matter but sees the aggression show towards Russia as a sign of bad tidings. The US engages in secret talks with Russia to prevent their fall or get into an advantageous diplomatic position. Brazil holds its neutrality but also builds a few more battleships on top of its heavily expanding fleet.
Asia: Japan suffers a fiscal issue which forces consolidation and will slow many efforts to try and industrialize or urbanize Former French Indochina.
Mod Event: As of right now, as well, this game is being phased into a state of being non-ASB, no outrageous purchases, the draft (which is being used for this war, obviously) causes public issues, your economy is not invincible, you will incur inflation if you undergo serious expenditures without a way to make up the profit or you are ridiculous with your economic expansion, this applies to everyone. Also, ALGORITHM, PLEASE
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military and improves the economy.
Japan: We undertake spending cuts in order to facilitate economic recovery. This is supposed to take just a few years. However, due to French control of Indochina and their handling, the people will only notice a change in leadership until improvements can be made to this new addition of the Japanese empire. Troops from Siam are used as they are also from Indochina and this is done to cut out some of the tension. Japan implements a "Satellite Policy" allowing for colonies once reaching a certain point to become a state equal to Japan. The constitution is edited allowing for a Prime minister and Diet to check the powers of the Emperor and vice versa to prevent an incompetent leader from controlling the nation like so many before. Siam, Korea, Japan, and the Philippines are all made into states as Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia are all split into separate colonies under separate adminitration in order to micromanage the three colonies to become three separate states. Private business begins funnelling into the new colonies to facilitate positive growth without government involvement. The population of the Japanese Empire reaches 103 million which includes Korea, Siam, the Philippines, Japan, and French Indochina.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army to one million men. The first electrified industrial area is built in Guanzhou with a fully electrified assembly line (China spent its entire scientific resources studying and developing assembly lines for two years). Oil refineries are improved in Shinjiang. More defensive structures are built on the Sino-Russian Border and electrical equipment is first used on the wall, including a small electrical fence. Tesla builds an improved oil extraction and refinery system and also learns Uyughur. More soldiers are raised and the population reaches
520 (correction 440 million)
China didn't hit its population boom until Mao Zedong took power and encouraged it. It was for the event of a nuclear war, due to its ATL I'll let you have 440 million but not 500, China's population was 416 million in 1900 so you couldn't be at 500 million anywhere near here. Even 440 is a stretch but from now on you've got to be pretty legit with your numbers, not pulling in 20 million extra people in three years. Can't be done.
UK: drafts 3.2 million men into the army.
We completely cut Paris off from France. We destroy the Eiffel Tower.
No, you didn't. Do the algorithm, and besides it would take a bit longer to draft 3.2 million men. That's waaaaay implausible. So as of right now, your economy is going to be falling apart unless you edit and do the algo, especially when France currently fields more troops than you do.
How is that implausible? When I won't meet any resistance France has moved their troops to Africa.
Well, I'm having to moderate like nobody's business because everyone is ignoring the algo and being ASB - which includes France. So France still has troops and your economy is falling apart because this isn't OTL WWI. The hypernationalism which caused it in OTL also supported the war effort which isn't being done in ATL so your economy is going to collapse. If you recruit like you are, you would also need at least two years to recruit that many and they would not be very good soldiers. So it's very ASB and there has been no algo so you don't get any advances. I'm telling you, if you do the algo and are plausible with it (like you can't send all your troops to invade someplace) you'll have riots in the streets but if you had a half a million man army with 350,000 in France fighting than you could be fighting truthfully. But if you're trying to recruit 3.2 million soldiers which can't be supported because you don't even have the military infrastructure to do that yet, then it can't be done. Now please be more elaborate with your turns and try to keep it all plausible because you will be dealing with rebellion or a revolution or colonial uprisings if you just wholesale do that. Because OTL British and French definitely did. Feudalplague (talk) 00:37, June 19, 2013 (UTC)
Africa: French forces begin leaving to re-inforce their home country as the African Corps begin taking over local African operations
Europe: The UK with huge military spending not nationally supported suffers from increasing inflation, job loss and the inklings of revolution in Ireland. The War in Russia continues into a stalemate as German generals dig in their troops to prevent the surprisingly well-equipped Russian troops from steamrolling them. The economies of Europe suffer as they were grossly unprepared to be commited to a war effort many people didn't support (No major nationalism like OTL) The only nations with major public support are Germany and Russia.
America: The US begins to secretly supply the Russian army using its large industry to supply the Russian empire to prevent their collapse and prevent radicals from taking the large country. Brazil begins extending Tendrils of Alliance to the only obvious remaining members of the SDC, Japan, China, and Argentina.
Asia: Japanese private industry allows for minor urbanization of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, Thousands of Chinese Workers protest the overworking on the northern border and the quality of life not being good for many Chinese. British India begins taking minor control of itself from the British Raj as their gross misspending is causing issues for the Indian economy as well. A medium surplus in Japan allows for medium expansion as their quick handling of their financial crisis prevented their economic Recession.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army to one million men. Halts build up on the Northern border and begins studying agriculture. Begins taxing rich people much more than the poor, while giving the money to the poor and also using it to lower the price of rice and other life necessities. Tesla builds a large artillery piece that can be put on a large car. More soldiers are raised and the population reaches 445 million.
Alright, Perfect, China's population growth was about five million a year, just so know you can only get that kind of population (five million) every two turns. Feudalplague (talk) 13:51, June 19, 2013 (UTC)
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military
Japan: We begins investing in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia respectively to create strong presence and business in the respective new colonies. Small popular protests that Japanese are massacring the South East Asian peoples are proven untrue as Siamese troops (also South East Asian people) are the new state's current defenders and would not harm their own people. Japan's population pushes a surprising 113 million as a major population boom in Japan and Korea far exceed expectations. However, it is believed that this boom will die off by the next year. Infrastructure is improved in Japan as its military is expanded into South East Asia including Cambodians, Vietnamese and Laotians as well recruiting just under 150,000 soldiers to try and increase integration and comradery in the Japanese Army. The Japanese Navy surpasses the German and Russian navys rather early putting itself just under the British Imperial Navy, and right on track with a increasingly powerful US Navy. Japan's first prototype aircraft come off the line as they have learned from the Wright Brothers innovation and have begun research into commercial and military applications of the machine. Japan improves its oil facilities in Indochina purely to create a reserve while buying from China as always to run its increasingly oil based industry. Korea begins to become Japan major research and development portion of the Empire creating innovative new technologies and even rivaling Japan to some degree as an industrial powerhouse. A Korean is made the prime minister of the Japanese Empire, Sharing powers with the Emperor, and the equally represented Imperial Diet.
USA:continus to supply the russians builds up the military to 1.2 milion men.
Africa: Not much, Moroccans begin to riot over french involvement and wish the Iberians to do something about this.
Europe: With US supply support arriving en masse the Russians manage to arm their massive army and force the Germans back out of the Baltics and Poland. Russian forces nearing almost two million fully supplied soldiers push into Austria-Hungary and right off the German Border making The war close to Austro-Hungarian, German and Danish Territory. The French forces numbering almost one million domestic forces push the British forces back to Normandy as strategic blundering has caused major issues for the British.
America: American military expansion and the jobs it has created causes a small economic boom allowing for More expenditures. Mexico takes more casualties in Columbia as other South American Nations secretly supported by Brazil begin sending their own forces to oust Mexican authorities from the area.
Asia: A small disease outbreak begins in Burma prompting the British to force heavy Disease control. The Disease has yet to spread but most of Mainland Asia is at risk if it grows out of control. A small population boom in Souther China and Southeast Asia occurs putting China at 446 million and Japan's empire at 115 million. Increasing unrest in India is seen as rioting occurs in a few Coastal Cities.
Japan: We put Japanese and Korean troops on the border with Burma/India to prevent any diseased from crossing the border if they haven't already, Development of Indochina continues with coastal cities being developed heavily. Military forces are outfitted with the next generation of rifles. Japanese Forces are detected near the Dutch colonies once again in the Pacific. Japanese naval forces begin patrolling the Indian Ocean as the lack of British ships in the area allows for Japanese naval dominance of the area.
Germany attempts to fight off the Russians. A draft means German forces now number three and a half million. One million are sent through Austria-Hungary to the Ukraine, hoping to acquire both them and the Caucasus. Algorithm tomorrow. Meanwhile, forces in mainland Germany dig in, hoping their overwhelming numbers will prevent the Russians from advancing. The navy goes into overdrive, with a dozen battleships constructed by the end of the year. The German Empire spreads propaganda condemning the United States for their supposed, mostly made up, cowardice and treachery. Public support is high and nationalism is widespread. Several militias have sprung up in Königsberg, hoping to defend the city from Russian takeover.
I'm letting you do that since it's a legit procedure. Just know your economy won't hold out for long by taking so many men out of the work force. The full force of Russia's army is also not upon you yet, FYI.
United Iberian Kingdoms:
Sends peacekeepers to Morocco and demands that France remove its forces from Morocco. France apparently already took Morocco, thus the UIK, Andorra and Morocco declare war on France due to its aggression. Nationalism begins and so does conservation of supplies in the homelands. Reaches out to Andorra for a full-fledged alliance [Andorra accepts]. Continues to improve and begins to draft more men into the UIK military. Andorreans and Moroccans are accepted as well, further bolstering numbers. Asks the UK, Japan and Switzerland for aid should French aggression begin.
Algo Result: 418 Andorra, UIK and Morocco.
- 224 France
- Result: Coalition can demand total French surrender in area won in algo ... 150 miles off board of Pyrenees.
- Also demand Moroccan independence. Yellow is UIK controlled area
Following the battles in France, the UIK asks Italy for a full-fledged alliance [MOD RESPONSE NEXT TURN]]
Argentina: Argentina continues to build up the military.
China: Further builds up and modernizes the army to three million men. Continues studying agriculture. The government begins building houses and industrial areas and homeless, but healthy people are sent to these industrial areas, where they can have a chance to make China, and their lives better. The army reaches two million people and with Konigsberg in siege, China recognized its agreement with Germany, which certifies that China will join the war if Konigsberg is threatened. One million and 200 thousand men in the Northern border is sent out to battle Russian troops, as another 500 thousand is raised. three locations are attacked, Vladivostok, Komsomolsk-on-Amur and Skovorodino. Anti-Russian Propaganda is issued, featuring a Chinese soldier punching a Russian soldier, who has the Russian flag as a helmet. On top of the poster was the words: 驅逐羅刹, which mean "Banish the Russian Demons". The agriculture equipment is slowly given to farms, with 10% of the farms in China having this equipment. Tesla, although being a pacifist, agreed to build a machine gun carriage, named JiGuanChe. Asks Japan for military supplies and naval protection, especially from the United States Navy. Soldiers are put on the China-Burma and China-Indian borders to prevent the disease from entering China. More soldiers are raised and the population reaches 446 million. The Chinese navy asks for a collaborating drill in the Gulf of Thailand.
Japan Response: This is not our war, however, I will send limited supplies while I can, The US Navy is powerful enough to take me head on which they will if I full on go to war with Russia.
Algo, Please. Otherwise, you get nothing. BTW, your army can't be drawn up like that in one turn without serious economic repercussions. At least 200 million people are old people and kids, another 100 million are women, and the Chinese economy has never had the economic strength to field more than three million men. Any more military force increase and you'll have to deal with rebellions and other crap like the UK does right now.
