Andrew Mark Cuomo (born December 6, 1957) is the 42nd and incumbent President of the United States, taking office on January 20, 2013. He was the Governor of New York from 2003 until 2012, when he resigned to take the office of the Presidency. In the 2012 Presidential election, Cuomo defeated incumbent President Rudy Giuliani as well as three minor-party candidates in the general election. He is the son of former Socialist President Mario Cuomo, making them the first father-son pair elected to the Presidency since John Adams and John Quincy Adams.
