"It [seemed] like everything changed for the world after the Great War. [The world] appeared to become a community and not just a bunch of [nations] fighting amongst themselves for no purpose other than conquest and knowing nothing about one another. Was it the effort to unite after such devastation? A natural progression of globalisation? Everyone [was] still fighting, but [it was] just not the same as before."
-Akimoto Akira, Nippo Romanji, 2080(1327)
[edit] Asia Australis
The Srivijavan empire was a major player in inhibiting shipping in Asia Australis and the Indian Ocean. Srivijava conquered Eastern Kediri in 2059(1306) and Western Kediri a year later. Several islands claimed but unutilised or undefended by Rome were also annexed. Bombings of their oil refineries proved extremely successful however in contributing to their withdrawal from the war in early 2065(1312). They got off considerably easy, being forced only to release West Kediri and light reparations because of the stalemate which continued virtually everywhere else in the war.
