American Romanian is a Romance language of the Indo-European family. It descents from English, French, Italian, Spanish and Latin, which the British-French spoke when they colonised North America. However, it is mainly influenced by English and French. American Romanian has evolved from them languages to make a distinced New Romanian language. People started speaking the language in the Roman Empire's North American terrorties, around about the 1700s and grew due to New Romanian expansion. By the 21st century New Romania was a superpower and the language spread all over the world.

American Romanian is the official language of only New Romania but many people in the world speak it as a second language to do trade deals with New Romanians. Two hundred million speak it as their first language while 300 million speak it as a second language, many of them in the rest of North America and Europe.
