Shouldn't we pretend to have a better explanation on what Alternate History is than Wikipedia?

Maybe we could described the various types you can find: alternate outcome of hinge moments (went left instead of right), non-specific alternate trends (the roman empire still exist), counterfactual (Hitler was a vampire), etc....
We could start writting things such as general guidelines based our personnal interest, I've been writing a page on vexilology for alternate history, others could write advice on fashions, architecture, technology, etc... It could include entries such as: general trends, what might have been, influence and repercution etc...--Marcpasquin 00:54, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
