This is a page for ranking timelines. Timelines are ranked based on comprehensiveness, how well written they are, organization, formatting, and amount of articles. Other categories include plausibility and originality, however, these are weighted much less more and are subject to exceptions in many cases. Any registered user with over 100 edits may vote or request a promotion or demotion of any ranked timeline here

Gold-ranked timelines should be well-above average timelines that are very fleshed out. Their concepts and point of divergence should be well-written, interesting, and immersive, with room for improvement beyond the core parts of the timeline. While there are many exceptions, the average-Gold ranked timeline should have at least twenty pages, with very few stubs. Ideally, their point of divergence should be plausible and original. They should be easily navigable, ordered, and very organized. If a timeline has a gold ranking, then the template seen above may be placed on the main of the timeline. Featured timelines should be near-perfect timelines that are extremely fleshed out. They are brilliantly written and of a professional standard. They are very comprehensive, not neglecting any major facts or details. Featured timelines should be very well organized and structured, with every page of the timeline able to be traced back to the main page. A user should be able to easily navigate through the timeline and not get lost in the pages of the timeline. These timelines should have many pictures, videos, flags, maps, and other supplements along with the core content. A featured timeline should have little to no stubs on subjects that should be detailed and extensive. The point of divergence and events following it should be very plausible, giving that plausible is the aim of the timeline. This is the highest award a timeline can receive. If a timeline has a featured ranking, then the template seen above may be placed on the main of the timeline. If a timeline is a candidate for a featured ranking, then the template seen below may be placed on the main of the timeline.
