2003-2004

  • Gary Payton goes to Celtics and gets a three-year contract.
  • Karl Malone goes to the Magic for a one-year contract.
  • Lebron James plays his first game for the Cavs in a win against the Lakers he has 32 points, ten assists and five steals.
  • Doc Rivers becomes the new coach of the Celtics in January.
  • In the All-Star game Lebron James is the second rookie to play in the game, first being Yoa Ming. James has 16 points and six assists in an East victory with Jason Kidd getting the MVP with 19 points, 20 assists and ten steals.
  • The Pistons give Tyashaun Prince to the Hawks for Rasheed Wallace.
  • The Nets win 16 games in a row for the best win streak in franchise history.
  • Tracy Mcgrady goes for 62 points in a game.
  • The Detroit Pistons beat the Sacramento Kings in the finals. Carmelo Anthony is the playoff MVP averaging 21 points, five rebounds, five assists and one steal a game.
  • Kevin Garnett wins MVP. He averaged 22 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and 1.5 blocks.
  • Rookie of the year is Lebron James averaging 22.5 points, 6.6 assists and five rebounds. He is the next Michael Jordan.
  • Defensive player of the year is three-time champ Ben Wallace. He averaged ten points, 16 rebounds, four blocks, 1.5 steals and 2.5 assists. 
  • Six Man is Speed Claxton averaging 13 points, five assists and 1.8 steals.
  • Most improved player is Zach Randolph averaging 20 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists.

  • Dwight Howard is picked number two by Charlotte, but then traded to the Magic for Tracy McGrady and Juan Howard.

  • Antwan Jamison signs with the Raptors for a four-year contract.
  • The Vancouver grizzlies move to Oklahoma City after playing 16 years there.
  • The Toronto Raptors move to Connecticut after playing 25 years there.
  • In Chris Paul's first game he finishes with ten points, 13 assists, and two steals in a win against the Bulls.
  • Suns win the finals over the Heat. Steve Nash is the finals MVP for averaging 15 points, 12 assists, and 2.3 steals.
  • Chris Paul wins Rookie of the year for averaging 8.0 assists and 15 points a game.
  • Vince Cater wins MVP averaging 24 points, five assists, 1.6 steals. This is the first time since Micheal Jordan someone has won twice in a row.

2006-2007

  • Lamarcus Aldridge is the number one pick by the Rapters.
  • The number two pick is Brandon Roy by the Bulls.
  • Paul Gasol signs a four-year contract with the Timberwolves.
  • Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen both sign four-year contracts with the Caves.
  • Lebron wins MVP of the All-Star game. He had 32 points, ten assists, and five rebounds.
  • Lebron James wins his first out of four MVP trophies he would win. He averaged 24 points, ten assists, and 1.8 blocks.
  • The Caves win the finals over the Mavericks. The playoff MVP is KG for averaging 20 points, 15 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks.
  • Lamarcus Alderidge win Rookie of the year. He averaged 19.5 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks.

2007-2008

  • Russell Westbrook wins rookie of the year averaging 19 points, six assists, two rebounds, one steal, and 0.5 blocks a game.
  • Bulls make it to the playoffs for the first time since 1999.
  • Lebron wins his second MVP award.
  • The Caves win the championship over the Lakers. Lebron gets his first playoff MVP award.

2009-2010

  • The Clippers Pick Blake Griffin with the first pick.
  • OKC picks James Harden With the second pick.
  • Both Bake and Harden impact their teams in ways of winning.
  • Also both the Clippers and OKC end the year with a birth to the playoffs.
  • Another hard year in voting for rookie of the year. Griffin wins rookie of the year for his great impact for getting his team to the playoffs.
  • The Clippers make the playoffs for the first time since 1995.
  • For the first time since Michael Jordan, Lebron wins back to back MVP awards.
  • The Nets win the championship over the Spurs. Brook Lopez wins MVP averaging 18 points, ten rebounds, 2.5 assists, two blocks, and one steal.
