Adolf Hitler (born April 20, 1889 in Braunau-am-Inn, Austria, Austria-Hungary [now: Hitlersburg, Austria, Greater German Reich], died September 11, 1967 in Germania, Greater German Reich) was the founder and first "Führer" ("Leader") of Nazi Germany, and thus one of the most influential political leaders of the 20th century.
