A young woman named Alisa Rosenbaum manages to stand up against the Bolsheviks. Vladimir Lenin is executed and the rest of the Bolsheviks flee to the United States. Rosenbaum takes the name "Ayn Rand" upon taking over. After she is assassinated in 1924, she, in her last will, appoints her right hand man, Joseph Dzhugashvili, to succeed her. His passion and cool head earns him the nickname "Stalin" or "Man of Steel."
Meanwhile in the United States, the Bolsheviks meet Eugene V. Debs and his Socialist Party of America. Debs and his new Russian allies manage to overthrow the government and establish the People's Republic of America.
