The Turkish Kurdistan Unrest is a series of protests and demonstrations in the Kurdish areas of Turkey by pro-independence campaigners who wish to cede to Kurdistan, which began on the 3rd February 2016. The unrest is seen as a continuation of attacks by the Communist PKK, which has attacked both Turkish and Kurdish forces.
