The 2015 NCAA Division 1 FBS football season, or the college football season, began on September 3, 2015 and will conclude in 2016 with the national championship at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The Ole Miss Rebels are the defending champions. The Massachusetts Minutemen would win their third title in program history with a victory over dark horse candidate Klamath in the Rose Bowl.
