- On the fourth of January, 2011, the dictator of North Korea Kim Jong Il died.
- The South Korean government thought of annexing North Korea after the death of Kim Jong Il but a lot of North Korean people (mostly army members) were against this and thought of getting a new dictator.
- Thus a battle began between the people who were against the idea of a Unified Korea and the people who wanted a Unified Korea.
