1 - 100 AD
Christ is crucified in 33 AD, and the religion of Christianity is formed. Christians are widely persecuted throughout the next few centuries. Beginning in 36 AD, the Silver War begins, and the Silver Republic, under the leadership of Aedan II launches a massive invasion of Cephasia and begins expanding to the west. By 71, the nation has reached as far west as the Panthalassan Empire and split Cephasia in two. In 83 AD, the Global Drought hits many Pangean nations, sparking the realization that any nation that wishes to survive needs large amounts of water access, causing the formation of new empires out of smaller nations, and shaping the world's mindset for the next thousand years. During this period, the Obem Empire is created, Gondwana absorbs its territories, and the Panthalassan Empire absorbs neighboring territories and expands along its "wings." The militarization of Cimbria is completed 97.
101 - 200
In 102, the Cimbrian Empire invades Panthalassas as revenge for the fall of western Cimbria from the west via naval attacks, and captures the capital city of Tibsit, along with the Panthalassan Coastline in the north. In 109, the Edenic Kingdom invades southern Panthalassas and gains territory for its own empire, in addition to widening the Edenic Hallway between the east and west areas of the Kingdom. By 118, the Christians and Jews form the small nation of Judea along the coast of the Gondwanan Sea, which, combined with the Obemic invasion of north Gondwana in 132, sealed the fate of the Gondwanan Empire.
The Silver War ends in 140, with the total demise of Cephasia, which became the Silver Republic in the North, and a puppet state of Cyrule in the south. 161 sees the end of the Cimbrio-Panthalassan War, with the significant weakening of the Panthalassan Empire. Cyrule, fearing that Cimbria could soon become powerful enough to dominate them as well, prepares to destroy the Cimbrian Empire for 20 years, then attacks in 181, quickly capturing the Cyrulean Gulf once again, and the southern half of Cimmeria by 200.
In 184, the Edenic Kingdom invades southern Gondwana from several places, and captures Tribal Gondwana. By 200, nearly all of Gondwana is under Edenic control, and Eden comes to dominate the entire southern area of Pangea.
201 - 300
In 204, Christianity becomes the official religion of the Edenic Kingdom. This infuriates polytheistic empires, which in turn attack the kingdom to "purge its unholy lands." By 212, the Edenic Kingdom has nearly conquered all of Gondwana and advanced a bit farther through Panthalassas in the North. In 223, the Edenic Kingdom has earned the title of largest nation in history, swallowing Gondwana nearly completely, leaving the empire only a small area of land, named Zusteny, after the former great city in the Gondwanan Empire. In 229, the Cyro-Cimbrian War ends with a massive Cyrulean victory, capturing Cimmeria and leaving only small colonial territories to the once great Cimbrian Empire. In 230, the Panthalassan Empire is given its territory back.
With many other nations war weary, the Obem Empire sends soldiers through Cyrulean territory and begins colonizing the areas of the North Gondwanan Continent that are uninhabited in 233. By 300, the Obem Empire has grown tremendously. In 246, after modernizing their nation, the Laurasian Empire expands to include nearly all of the coast of the Great Terranean Sea. In 287, Swabia and Arctica go to war over territorial boundaries, resulting in the first ever peace treaty, in which a line was drawn down the map, laying out the areas that each nation would colonize, Swabia the east, and Arctica the west.
301 - 500
In 307, Balthus I of Zusteny successfully leads a revolt against the oppressive government and comes to power, establishing the Royaume of Zusteny. Balthus begins massive reforms of his nation, leading to economic prosperity and military supremacy. By 313, Zusteny has developed the best military technology in the world, but it lacks the manpower to make it effective. The Obem Empire also launches a massive militarization campaign, planning to attack the Edenic Kingdom and decisively capture the city of Eden by 375.
Meanwhile, tribes in unorganized northern territory begin raiding Laurasia and tribes in unorganized southern territory begin raiding Eden by 316. In 318, the Panthalassan Empire is forced to give some of its territory to tribes in the north after repeated raids on small settlements, weakening the empire economically. This event marks the beginning of the fall of the Panthalassan Empire. In the 330s, a sort of nationalism had developed in Grooten, a predominantly black country, believing that Grooten should be home to all blacks in the surrounding areas of Obem and Panthalassas, leading to a sharp increase in militarism.
In 339, Balthus I of Zusteny becomes sick and dies of old age during a diplomatic meeting between the Edes and Zustens to discuss economic concerns that befell Zusteny due to lack of water and land, which led to the belief that he was poisoned by the Edes as a response to the militarization of Zusteny. His successor is Leon I, who believes this to be true, and inspires many to join the Armée Royale, although by the end of his reign, it is still not large enough to sustain a war against Eden, but several small clashes occur along the nation's border.
In 352, the Silver Republic has grown its navy, the "Silver Royal Navy" to the largest in the world after securing ports along the Panthalassan coast, and prepares an invasion of the island of Cimmeria concurrent with an invasion of former Cephasia, the first event in the course of global imperialism's lifespan. This invasion begins in 356 and ends in 368, with the total occupation of Cimmeria, and the deportation of all Cyruleans and Cimbrians to their respective nations, and Cimmeria is renamed the Island of Silver. The battle for Cephasia ends in a stalemate with no gains or losses on either side.
In 375, the Obem Empire decides that they are not prepared to attack Eden yet, and call off the invasion. In 381, Leon I dies, leaving Balthus II to take his place, whose daughter marries the heir to the throne of Nazca in 383. In 400, the First Global Peace begins, lasting until 493, in which no conflicts but minor border disputes arise. In 494, the Island of Silver revolts against the Silver Republic, winning independence and forming the Cimmerian Kingdom, the world's first constitutional monarchy. In 496, the Obem Empire invades the Edenic Kingdom, sacking Eden within a few weeks because of the element of surprise, and captures the entire Edenic District and devastates the Edenic military. While this is going on, Eden loses much of its western territories to tribal invasions.
In 499, the Arctic-Laurasian War begins over territory disputes, and lasts a few months before the Laurasians are defeated and their military formally dissolved as a term of the peace treaty. By this time, the Cimmerian Royal Navy has swiftly overtaken all other navies throughout the world, which it would then begin to use to "bully" nations into giving them colonies.
