The 1992 US presidential election is schedulued on November 3rd 1992. This contest is between the Republican incumbent President George H. W. Bush and his Democratic opponent, Governor Bill Clinton. Bush is helped by the end of the Cold War (1989), the Panama dictator Manuel Noriega's overthrow (1990), the Coalition military victory in the Gulf War, the Koweit's protection and the Iraqi dictator Saddam hussein overthrow (1990-1991), the signing of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NATFA) (1991) and an economic growth by the NATFA and the reinforcement of the oil' exploitation. President George H. W. Bush is re-elected on November 3rd, defeating Bill Clinton with 494 great electors, 43 states and 56 % of the populr vote against 44 great electors, 7 states and 43 % of the popular vote for his opponent.
