Previous - Social Democrats take Weimar (CYOAH)
The Soviet Union invades Poland, and in mere weeks the country is conquered. The Red Army does not wish to stop, however, and with the strong foothold in central Europe, the Soviets invade Norway, Sweden and Finland, and then make their way south. The USSR conquers Greece, albeit with difficulty, along with other South-central European countries, surrounding Germany on three sides. Germany, frightened by the Soviets' rampage, goes to Italy, France, and the UK for help, but all refuse, remembering the previous World War, not to mention the power of the USSR. The Soviet Union is able to "encourage" Italy and France to remain neutral, though the United Kingdom refuses, but Stalin doesn't care, just so long as they don't get involved yet. With the Germans cornered, they call upon an old enemy: the United States. The USSR also asks for the help of the States, with promises of wealth and power beyond imagination.
President Roosevelt is faced with the largest decision of his life; help Germany, despite the Great Depression, or unite with the Commies?
