Start: 1933.6

  • Franklin Delano Roosevelt has just been elected President. He does not approve of Hitler's ascension to Chancellor and vigorously opposes him.
  • Korean guerrillas begin to stage attacks on Japanese forces, looking for independence from 24 years of harsh Japanese rule.
  • Sweden begins the process of modernizing and updating their long-neglected army. 240 tanks are purchased from Britain, and engineers begin looking for ways to replicate the design. Several thousand trucks are bought from their German allies as well, in order to increase logistics efficiency.
  • The Germans begin to rebuild there economy and Hitler accelerates the military rebuilding program, with most of his focus being on the navy and air force with the army being a second priority. Hitler (in this game Hitler instead has a bigger hate for Britain than the Jews and is a navy man; the brown shirts are instead called blue shirts as well)
  • Vittorio Emmanuele III and Benito Mussolini are killed in a car crash (thought by many to be led by the Social Democrats). Umberto II ascends to the throne and slightly frees the parliament for left-wing parties. The Fascist party becomes less supportive of militarism and autocracy, and is basically only fascist with the Italian supremacist powers.
  • Finland receives a coup d'etat led by local politician Kyösti Kallio. He does not depose President Pehr Evind Svinhufvud af Qvalstad but instead makes him chief of Parliament, and declares himself King of Finland. It forms an alliance with Italy.
  • Siam agrees to ally with Japan if Japanese troops do not occupy Siam, along with other agreements.
  • Cuba and Mexico begin to trade. They offer an alliance to Mexico. Meanwhile, the military is amped up.
  • Mexico accepts. They begin amping up their military.
  • The USSR offers a secret alliance to a growing Germany. USSR offers to produce German tanks in the USSR and export them to Germany, unknown by all other nations. The USSR asks in return for Germany to export planes to an inadequate Soviet Air Force.

  • Korea begins to plan for a huge attack on the Japanese government, and D-Day is set for 1934.6
  • Roosevelt strongly encourages people to switch from commercial to military production to prepare for war.
  • Siam increases its naval capabilities.
  • A revolution starts in Saudi Arabia. Thousands of protestors say they are sick of the corrupt government and want a democracy. The revolutionaries march on Mecca and Media with little resistance. The army is sent to put down the rebellion, but large numbers of soldiers join the people. Within a few months, the nation is in a full scale revolution.
  • Cuba begins to invade several Caribbean Islands. The interior is improved and tourism is rapidly increasing.
  • Mexico continues to amp up its military. It begins propaganda in Central America. Happiness in those areas diminish. Guatemala and Honduras begin to riot.
  • Germany begins to lick its economic wounds and war production soon begins to undergo with no restrictions.

  • Korea stages a huge assassination attack on Japanese leaders, both in Japan and in Korea. They successfully kill the Emperor, but not the PM. They also manage to kill several Japanese loyalists under the leadership of Kim Gu.
  • The US begins to give the Korean revolution secret funds to overthrow their Japanese overlords. Meanwhile, Roosevelt introduces the New Deal, and the economy seems to be getting on their feet.
  • The revolution in Saudi intensifies. The people march on Riyadh, with an army of their own. The battle seems to be a loyalist victory, but at the last minute reinforcements come and the rebels rout the Saudi army. Saudi Arabia becomes democratic, and the U.A.E. joins the country, seeing Saudi as a good place to live in. Dubai is made the new capital, and Saudi is modernized. It offers the U.S an alliance.
  • Accepted, but get rid of the Royal Family. They're annoying. :)
  • The USSR gives funds to Korea, glad that their nemesis Japan is in retreat. The USSR is now almost fully out of the Depression, with strict leadership by the government. The USSR continues to wait for Germany's response to the secret agreement. The USSR starts to get angry at Germany ignoring them.
  • Japanese troops loyal to the emperor flee to Siam, but are subordinated by the king of Siam. The city of Phetchaburi, in Japanese as Pechafu-shi, is set aside for Japanese immigrants. Siam advances its navy significantly, adopting Japanese technology but using Siamese principles.
  • German troops re-enter the Rhine and Hitler demands that the French leave the region immediately; New improvements on the military begin to go underway.
  • Siam continues to bulk up its navy.

  • Saudi Arabia continues to modernize. The army is made stronger and bigger, and an Air Force is built. Tanks are added to the army as well. Women are allowed to go to school, send everyone from the ages of 6-18 must go to school. They announce themselves to be a secular country. They also invade Yemen.
  • Korea beings a full scale revolution, with young, old, male, female, all taking to the streets. They begin to lynch and mob Japanese forces and sympathisers and requests help from the US, the USSR, England, France, and the Netherlands for help defeating the Japanese.
  • The US, while not declaring war on Japan, begins to send supplies to the Koreans, grateful that pushing the Japanese out of Korea.
  • The USSR, happy for any excuse to declare war on Japan, declares war on the nation. The massive Red army mobilizes and the first units of the army cross the border from Mongolia into Manchuria. The troops made headway against tough Japanese resistance.
  • Siam requests alliances with Germany and Italy. It bulks up its navy.
  • Italy agrees to the Siamese offer. It also applauds Germany's decision of reoccupying the Rhine. It also starts supplying the Japanese.
  • Finland also starts supplying the Japanese in order to keep the Italians happy.
  • China declares war on Japan, and directly sends support to the rebels while also sending 80,000 troops to attack Japanese forces along the northern border.
  • The Bomb Plot of 1935 takes action, with the result being the death of Hitler. Hundreds mourn his loss, but with no leader to take command the whole nation begins to collapse. The Social Democratic Party of Germany steps in and announces itself the governing party at the time and with Kurt Schumacher becoming the prime minister; relations with nations such as Great Britain and the United States are re-opened as a result of this new governing body. The Third Reich is renamed the Second Weimar Republic; Still, unification with Austria continues to be planned.
  • A fascist party and a Communist Party forms in Cuba.
  • Mexico amps up their military.

  • Korea ultranationalists begin the "victory march" down the Korean Peninsula, pushing the Japanese out every way.
  • The US begins to help Korea by training their impromptu militia.
  • The Cuban Fascist and Communist armies grow in strength. Violence in Cuba erupts.
  • The Mexican economy, in much better shape than other Latin American nations, offers promise. The Mexican government takes over more Latin American nations.
  • Saudi Arabia completes its conquest of Yemen. They now invade Oman. Modernization continues.
  • You're expanding way too fast. You cannot conquer Yemen in just one year. The Saudi Military at then was virtually non-existent. You would take at least three to five years to conquer Yemen, and besides, you're expanding too fast.
  • Not to mention that most of Yemen was a protectorate of GB, and the rest was a puppet state. Same with Oman.
  • Siam makes plans to reform its economy into a mixture of fascism and laissez-faire capitalism, which should be effective by 1936. Siam improves its navy and begins backing fascist anti-European groups in Malaya, French Indochina, Dutch East Indies, Philippines, and Australia.
  • That doesn't make sense. Fascist ideology necessitates state ownership of industry just as much as communism does.
  • It's based on an ideology I created here on Conworlds. It's not fascism in the strictest sense. Think of it as similar to the stronato in Paraguay.
  • OK, I see what you are saying
  • Germany continues its rearmament program due to the lumbering Soviet threat, also, talks for unification begin between Austria and Germany.
  • The Soviet Union continues to advance into Manchuria. Now that the Soviet military is mobilized, the advance continues at a faster rate. The USSR calls for meetings with China and Korea on how to divide the Japanese Empire once the war is over. The USSR offers an alliance to the Cuban communist party and Mexico
  • Uhh. you do realize that Korea was not invading Japan, just driving them off the peninsula, because Japan was occupying Korea. Also, this "victory march" is being made by militias, not organized military. We have no tanks, no aircraft, no artillery. We are in no position to invade Japan. And China is, by now, effectively conquered by the Japanese.
  • Well, Chinese guerrilla forces were very deadly and effective against the Japanese. And by dividing the Japanese Empire, I meant that Korea would have the peninsula (it was technically part of the empire so I am right.)
  • The Chinese continue to send their support to the Japanese, although as Koreans advance, their forces pull back.
  • uhhh, you do realize that the Chinese were conquered by the Japanese, and were extremely resentful of them?
  • You realize that last turn you declared war on Japan?

  • The Communist and fascist parties continue to rise in power. Violence escalates.
  • Mexico continues taking Latin American nations.
  • Korean militias are routed by Japanese forces in the mountains of South Korea, and begin a retreat. However, even though it is a huge setback, they will not give up.
  • The US denounces Mexico's aggressive behavior and says that if they conquer any more nations there will be war.
  • Mexico is not being aggressive. They are peacefully absorbing poorer Latin American nations.
  • Saudi Arabia continues its invasion of Yemen. Arab and Yemeni troops fight a large battle for almost three days, causing large casualties on each side. On the third day, a Saudi tank division shows up, and breaks through Yemeni lines, and causes a full rout. This battle proves to be a turning point in the war, as almost 40,000 Yemeni troops were killed in the three day battle.
  • King Rama VIII of Siam declares a suspension of constitutional rights during the nine-month transition period into what he calls Siamese fascism. During that time, tens of thousands of Siamese are forced to receive military training.

  • Cuba erupts into civil war. West Cuba is mainly Communist as East Cuba is mainly Fascist. In the center, there are capitalist enclaves. Travel to and from Cuba is cut off by both governments. Tourists in Eastern Cuba are taken hostage. The ransom for the hostages: $500,000 a person. Tourists from the United States, UK, France, and Mexico are among those held. The communist Western Cuba is mainly amping up its military. As for what, it is likely that Western Cuba is planning a massive invasion of Fascist Cuba. The Communists ask for aid from the USSR as Fascist Cuba is asking for aid from Germany.
  • Germany, not for either side, proposes a joint European and American strike in order to end the conflict and re-establish rule there; the plan known as I-Day (Invasion Day) and also dubbed the "Bay of Pigs Invasion". Germany also hopes for the establishment of German bases there.
  • Mexico warns Germany not to add to the body count in Cuba. They think it is best just to let the war play out. Either Fascist or Communist Cuba will fall in time. Meanwhile, the Mexicans try to support the Capitalist Enclaves in Cuba. They hope this petty conflict resolves itself soon, as they see a larger conflict looming in the horizon...
  • Germany instead criticizes Mexico for doing too LITTLE. They themselves plan a different approach; Highly Trained German paratroopers are launched into Eastern Cuba, where they manage to free some tourist in the vicinty. The German government, which is also supporting East Cuba, blames West Cuba for entering Eastern Cuba and liberating prisoners-of-war. More operations continue, but in the meanwhile advisors, trainers, equipment, and supplies are sent to Eastern Cuba and German subs position themselves around Western Cuba.
  • Saudi Arabia takes advantage of the looming conflict in Cuba by invading Yemen's capital. The Yemeni army is crushed, and Yemen in annexed by Saudi Arabia.
  • Yemen is a British Protectorate! You just declared war on the British Empire!
  • I think this user is trying to expand his nation too quickly. Saudi Arabia has no real invasion choices; most territory there is controlled by either France and Britain (or is a Protectorate). You could improve your nation internally, but the only real advantage Saudi Arabia has is the Oil industry/business
  • Yes. I will call for a vote to ban him if he keeps doing this. Also, Saudi Arabia didn't have oil back then! What I mean is that the billions of petrodollars that are flowing into SA was not there in WW-II.
  • The US demands that Cuba release the hostages or there will be war. They begin planning a rescue, however it is very difficult due to the fact that helicopters were not invented yet, so there is not an easy way to get in/out of Cuban territory. However, plans are drawn up involving paratroopers.
  • Which Cuba?
  • Korean ultra-nationalists win a huge victory over the Japanese in Seoul, forcing Japanese troops into a full blown retreat. However, resistance leader Kim Il-Sung was killed, a huge blow for the Korean forces, since he founded the Korean Freedom Army, the core of the resistance
  • Italy, now called by many "the last Fascist country" (although Siam was also partly fascist) has been building its army and economy throughout this years of political inactivity. It has also slowly moved towards the former Italian liberal parliamentary monarchy. However, the still politically aggressive Minister of Defense is able to declare war on Ethiopia, by feeding the Italian's resentment towards the Ethiopian Empire. It also begins to help the fascists in Cuba and declares that if Saudi Arabia doesn't abandon all British and French holdings, and if Mexico extends its sovereignty over more than 1821 boundaries, there will be war. It also offers formal alliances to Germany, Hungary, Romania and Greece. The latter three accept the offer.
  • Finland backs up the Italian demands and supports. It also begins to worsen relationships with the Soviet Union, as it demands it's given all Finn and Finnish-related speaking areas to Finland.
  • Siam begins developing an air force. It begins backing anti-European riots in Singapore.
  • Sweden finishes the full restoration of their military. Two new tank designs have been put into production at around 80 a year for both vehicles, while product-improved dive bombers now manufactured by Saab are ordered. They begin to turn against the Soviet Union. Sweden asks for the return of the Aland Islands, which are primarily populated by Swedes, to Sweden from Finland in return for vastly lowered trade barriers and a considerable sum of money, as well as recognizing Finnish claims in Swedish Lapland. This would move the border to around 50 miles east of Kiruna. Sweden also secures a defensive alliance with Poland, as both are growing wary of both Germany and the USSR.
  • The Chinese, seeing a time to take the offensive, launch a wide scale offensive against the Japanese to push them off their homeland.
  • Persia unites with Afghanistan to oppose European colonial influence. Great Persian Union (GPU) is formed. GPU gives each of its states a degree of autonomy, basing their structure on the USA. GPU is wary of the British in nearby India.
  • Map Time! Add your changes!
  • Um..Pita this map is inaccurate.......
  • I know, but I couldn't find a blank World War II time map, so I'm just going to have them say like Germany expands into ___, then put that on the map, ignoring borders. Could you find a map that's better?
  • here.
  • Forgot to add all the Caucases and Eastern Europe in the Soviet Union.
  • Added Mexico's expansion and the Cuban Civil War.

  • Violence in Cuba calms down. Borders become solid. Western Cuba rescues some hostages from Eastern Cuba and gives them back to their home countries. However, some hostages are still missing. East Cuba places mines in the water, especially in Guantanamo Bay. While this keeps the Western Cubans away, a German command submarine accidentally hits a mine. Central Cuba (Known to the USA as CapCuba) receives aid from the US and most Enclaves gain a better foothold.
  • Mexico tries calming down Cuba. This works a little bit. A mission to rescue a few hostages goes partially right. Two planes were shot down before they reached the hostage place. One managed to crash into a key building, effectively loosening Fascist Cuba's hold on that area. The Mexicans rescue a majority of the hostages. However, three are killed by gunfire. A funeral is funded and held by the Mexican government for the fallen.

In October, Mexico manages to revisit the hostage area, invading it, and opening the area up for a week so the rest of the hostages are let out. The fascists eventually overran the stronghold. Eastern Cuba is still strong and war against them is ill-advised. Western Cuba seems to be somewhat cooperative and may turn back to an agreeable economy soon. Central Cuba is given aid by Mexico.
  • Germany warns Mexico that it will invade Cuba if the conflict is not resolved by next year; in the meantime a large group of German bombers test their capabilities by scorching a city in Eastern City. Germany also accepts the alliance offer from Italy. German troops move into Austria after the day before in which both sides agreed to unification; after this event Germany demands Sudetenland, they promise that it would be the last land concession they would receive.
  • The USSR decides that it will stay out of the Cuban civil war, instead continuing its invasion of Japan. The USSR proposes to China that the division of Japanese China will go as such: USSR gets Manchuria and a little coast, and China gets all the rest of the coast. The USSR continues to build its air force, creating thousands more planes. They also offer to give China some in return for land and an alliance. The USSR is undecided about the situation with Finland, so they put the problem on hold until next year.
  • The US lands paratroopers in East Cuba and rescues some hostages. They also begin sending aid to West Cuba and Central Cuba. They think about what to do with the rest of Cuba.
  • Mexico has rescued all of the hostages. A few were killed in the escape, but the rest made it safely to their home country.
  • Korean forces are now at a stalemate with the Japanese, with the Japanese burning Korean villages, killing Korean people and soldiers, while Korean guerrillas give the Japanese an extremely miserable experience. With Chinese reinforcements, they gradually begin to push the Japanese to Busan, at the end of the peninsula.
  • Siam continues to upgrade its air force and navy. Riots intensify in Singapore, and spread to Penang, George Town, Malacca, and the Klang Valley.
  • Yo Britain, do something.
  • Western Cuba asks for reinforcements from the USSR and any other communist countries. They thank the US for their help. Eastern Cuba asks for reinforcements from Germany, Italy and any other Fascist countries. Central Cuba thanks its helpers and asks for help from Capitalist and mixed market countries.
  • Do you think I should keep this going or have them chill out for a while? I'm probably going to calm down tomorrow with Cuba. At least it's interesting :)
  • I'm leaving to go to a MUN conference tomorrow thru Sunday, don't mess with my nations please.
  • K
  • FYI, I said that the USSR will stay out of the Cuban Civil War.
  • Saudi Arabia asks Great Britain for forgiveness for invading Yemen. However, they do ask if they will give Saudi there lands in Arabia, since they are really of no value to England, but Saudi Arabia would like to unite all of Arabia to there control. They also began to improve their economy by growing cotton along the coast to Export to other countries. Saudi improves its army, and begins to build an Air Force.
  • Hey Guys, I'm sorry for expanding my nation too fast.

  • The Cuban Civil War ends in a stalemate. Both sides cease fire and work on rebuilding.
  • The Mexicans try protecting Western and Central Cuba. They warn Germany not to invade either Cuba
  • The US requests West and East Cuba for an embassy in both of their lands for better communication and relations in the future. Meanwhile, Albert Einstein and his family immigrate to the US.
  • West Cuba accepts. East Cuba denies.
  • Korea now occupies the entire peninsula, due to the efforts of the guerrilla forces. They set up a temporary government, and ask the US, the USSR, and Great Britain for an alliance.
  • USSR accepts
  • The USSR starts to advance along the coast of China, but Japanese guerrilla forces slow the advance down. The Japanese troops fight to the death and are willing to sacrifice themselves, but the USSR Red Army is a lot larger. The USSR steps up its tank production to 1,000 tanks per year. They produce large amounts of the famous T-34 main battle tank. Aircraft production is stepped up to 500 per year, with estimates for 1941 to be around 1,000 per year. Stalin offers t meet with Scandinavian official to work out their differences in a conference in Karelia.
  • Germany annexes Sudetenland and blockades Eastern Cuba; they warn them that if it does not agree to the embassy offer, German naval forces would starve the nation until they do so. Germany begins to ask that the League of Nations be reformed and strengthened due to its weakness and little effect on the world.
  • GB dictates war on East Cuba and decides to form an Alliance with the Koreans.
  • The Straits settlements are stormed by thousands of students and the Siamese army. Due to Britain being occupies in Cuba, the Straits settlements fall to the Siamese, and become provinces of Siam. Siam requests aid from Germany, Italy, and East Cuba.
  • Italy re-offers its alliance to Germany, as well as accepting Siam's aid proposal. It also declares war on Western Cuba. It also annexes Dalmatia forcefully, although without declaration of war, stating that Dalmatia is a rightfully Italian area.
  • Saudi Arabia begins to mass produce tanks, producing almost 250 tanks by the end of the year. The army is 200,000 strong, and the Saudi Air force grows as well. The economy is steadily increasing thanks to Saudi's new export, Cotton.
  • I deleted the part about the T-34. Don't try to steal other people's stuff again. Roguejedi 17:38, February 18, 2011 (UTC)
  • Eastern Cuba, in December, finally allows the US embassy. They beg for help from Italy, the US, Germany, and Siam against Great Britain and any other attackers. Meanwhile, West Cuba begs for help from Great Britain, the US, the USSR, Korea, Mexico, and China against Italy.
  • (Just so everyone is clear, Germany is a Federal Democracy now due to the 1935 Bomb Plot) Germany rejects, they instead ally with Italy and propose a joint-alliance with the following nations: Germany, Italy, U.S., Great Britain, Korea, and China

Map time! Add your changes!

Eritrea is Italian. And Namibia, Togo and Cameroon were not German any more. And what's the light blue that occupies all of the islands around the Eastern Hemisphere?

Axis vs Allies 1939

  • Mexico protects both Cubas. The military is mobilized. They try reasoning with the other nations. They say that Cuba will eventually unite and the fascist Cuba will give way to Western Cuba.
  • Eastern Cuba sets up its defense heavily. Meanwhile, scientists begin working on the schematics for a huge, devastating weapon. In November, however, Western Cuba steals the plans. They declare that if Eastern Cuba falls to another country, the territory should rightfully be Western Cuban territory. Western Cuba also heavily prepares its defense.
  • Look, you cannot start developing nukes yet. The Nuke program was started because of World War II.
  • Actually, it says a nuclear program is allowed to start in 1940. It'll just take Cuba longer to develop the nuke than other countries.
  • Oh okay. However, it should take it at least 7-10 years because since WW-II has not started yet, there really is no rush for nukes.
  • Tragedy strikes! the leader of the USSR, Stalin, dies by rebels from Russia. He is shot on the way to the meeting with the Scandinavians. The suspect has not been caught but he is confirmed to be an anti- Communist rebel. A new leader comes in the form of Ivan Vladimir, a little-known man who has a way with words and has strong popular backing. As his first act, Vladimir asks for formal alliances with Germany, Italy, Mexico, Great Britain, and China. The war against Japan has almost ended, with the last armies in China fighting desperately. The USSR begins to work on a T-42 tank, much better than the best tank in the world, the T-34. The T-34 is carefully guarded, and no country knows how to make them. That means you cant just say you're getting the tank, hint, hint.
  • The US asks the USSR for an alliance, and begins developing a tank called the Sherman. It is a little different from OTL, with more armor, firepower, but slower. It looks more like the German Tiger.
  • USSR accepts. No one can stop us now Muhahahahaha.....Sorry, got excited
  • Hey Guys, I noticed we're going by 1 years. We go by half-years.
  • Saudi Arabia's President travels to Egypt to discuss with the Egyptian Government the idea of Egypt joining Saudi Arabia. Egypt agrees, as long as they are protected by Saudi Arabia.
  • Implausible. Egypt would never join with Saudi Arabia. I mean, what's better. Being protected by GB, or the newly formed highly unstable Saudi Arabia? Also, what would compell them to join with Saudi Arabia?
  • Isn't Egypt under British control? remember all those campaigns in Northern Africa in 1941-1943. you are again not researching the time period. BE PLAUSIBLE
  • I also just noticed, there is basically no fertile land in Saudia Arabia, so it is a weak country,. You won't be able to build tanks in large numbers or become wealthy.

I added Japan to the map due to their importance in WW-II.

I added the USSR's takeover of Manchuria.

Hey, since BoredMatt is not using Turkey, can I have it?StarkBlack 23:43, February 18, 2011 (UTC)

No, BoredMatt is out on a MUN conference.... 23:47, February 18, 2011 (UTC) (PitaKang)

  • Korean Rebels finally push the Japanese completely out of Korea.
  • The US sends more aid to Korea, and arms their military.
  • Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen their military. They offer the USSR an alliance.
  • Siam increases the size of its army. They make plans with Japan on annexing Taiwan provisionally due to Japan's weakness.
  • Germany begins research on weapons of mass destruction with nuclear physicist Kurt Diebner and Albert Einstein leading the project. (P.S. To some who don't know, Albert Einstein was born in Germany but left due to the Nazi presence, which in this map game has been destroyed, although most of you already know this). Also, German blueprints for new, modern naval vessels, aircraft, tanks soon begin to form.
  • Yugoslavia asks for a ceasefire (P.S. To those who don't know, Yugoslavia is at war with Italy).
  • Brazil declares war on Bolivia.
  • Italy demands that, for a ceasefire, they are given the fourth banovine of Yugoslavia, and the Adriatic coast of the second one (this area is equivalent to the OTL coast of Croatia and the Slovenian Littoral). In return, Italy would pay three hundred thousand liras as war reparations. Italy also starts to develop nuclear power with Enrico Fermi leading the campaign.
  • Yugoslavia accepts the Italian terms.
  • Saudi Arabia offers Italy an alliance for their land in Somalia.
  • The Italian government rejects Saudi Arabia's offer immediately.
  • Somalia for an alliance? You can't give me anything right now.
  • OK, sorry.
  • Siam will take the alliance on the next turn if it means you're going onto the axis side, and if you let its military occupy the area.
  • Western Cuba continues its nuclear program. It is dubbed 'The Havana Project'.
  • Mexico continues to protect both Cubas from hostile nations.

  • The Havana Project continues to go well. Conditions in areas away from the borders increase.
  • Mexico peacefully absorbs more Latin American nations. Its population and economy spikes.
  • Yugoslavia start to improve its military.
  • Turkey completes the refurbishment of their military, with two aircraft carriers and 11 battleships, as well as numerous submarines. They offer a non-aggression pact to Italy, hoping to secure their relatively vulnerable Mediterranean border from assault. They move most of their armored formations into southwest Turkey, putting down a religious insurrection by Yazidis and Ahl-i-Haqq.
  • Sweden continues to improve their defenses. The air force is considerably expanded as well.
  • Siam expands its defenses, and begins imposing Siamese culture on Singapore (renamed Singhburi), Penang, Dinding, and Malacca. Detectivekenny (Info; Talk) 15:31, February 22, 2011 (UTC)
  • The Shah of Greater Persia meets with Netaji Chandra Bose and Adolf Hitler to discuss a possible alliance between Azad Hind (Free India), Germany, and Greater Persia. Persians embargo and cancel all trade agreements with the UK and USSR. Persia strengthens ties with Germany and Indian Rebels of Azad Hind. The Shah considers Japan a possible ally.
  • Hitler is DEAD. He died in the 1935 bomb plot.

  • Yugoslavia continues to improve its military.
  • Mexico continues to take Latin American nations.
  • Eastern Cuba amps up its military. Western Cuba continues to work on the Havana Project. Their military is also enhanced.
  • Germany asks Italy if they would like to merge there projects in order to be the first nations to achieve the weaponry, they also asks Eastern Cuba if they would like to support.
  • Eastern Cuba accepts.
  • The US, worried about Mexican expansion, invades Mexico. They push in for several miles, and demands that Mexico stops expanding. They move to several miles off of Mexico City, and threaten to take it over. They also start a nuke program to catch up to Germany and Italy, called the "Manhattan Program."
  • This is a peaceful takeover. Mexico is in a much better situation than other countries right now and they are buying them/peacefully absorbing them.
  • Yes, but the people of the US consider you a threat to peace. Doesn't mean you really are.
  • Korea sets up a central government, and asks Siam for an alliance.
    • You sure? Siam is fascist-aligned.
    • We don't care. We are extremely weak right now, and need allies. Except Japan, of course.
  • Mexico asks for help from any and all able-bodied countries.
  • Turkey takes a strong stance against Mexican aggression, and sends diplomatic support to the US. They also offer US-flagged or -owned shipping to pass through the Bosphorus untaxed.
  • Sweden takes much the same position as Turkey, and ready a task force consisting of around 11 warships and 6,000 troops to help assist the US if the situation in Mexico gets out of hand.
  • Siam changes the name of Bangkok to Krungthep. It declares opposition to Dutch, French and British control of Southeast Asia, and advances its military technology.

  • Yugoslavia continues to improve its military and air force.
  • Mexico repels the attack from the USA. They set up their defense and prepare for another likely attack.
  • Western Cuba continues to work on the Havana Project. They demand that the US back off from Mexico.
  • The US launches another attack on Mexico, occupying all of Baja California and parts of Northern Mexico. They start preparing for a short and quick war, and make strong defenses in the conquered areas.
  • Korea bulks up their army.
  • That really is a lot to take over in half a year.
  • Hey, Hitler took over half of Poland in less than half a year, and Poland's a lot bigger than Baja California.
  • I don't think it's a very good idea to compare yourself to Hitler :S
  • True, but that's not the point. Baja California is roughly 1/10 of the area of Poland. Hitler overran over half of it in less than two months.
  • 38 days actually.
  • Italy menaces the United States of stopping its war with Mexico, or Italy and all of its allies will declare war on the United States. It starts to greatly improve its military, creating many new jobs. Many of the military's fund is destined to Eastern Africa, where it soon becomes the largest army in the continent and on the Middle East (The Saudi's were weak and didn't have a strong military, and the local competitors of the colonial Empires were much too weak to be a true concern to the colonials). This is because of they being afraid of a Saudi attack and because of their ambitions on Ethiopia. They also re-offer an alliance to Germany.
  • Finland does much the same as Italy.
  • Saudi Arabia offers the U.S.A. a military alliance against its enemies if a world war breaks out. They offer the US oil in exchange for support of the US if Saudi is ever invaded. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia builds its first Aircraft Carrier. They also launch an invasion of Djibouti.
  • Djibouti is French. In fact, everything near you is controlled by the Europeans except for Persia, which happens to be allied with Britain and Turkey. Also, you have nowhere near the infrastructure to begin the large-scale drilling of oil, or the creation of carriers. Techniques to reach most of the Arabian oil deposits weren't developed until 1970-ish. Saudi Arabia has absolutely no naval tradition whatsoever, hardly any dry docks or dedicated port facilities, and very, very little technical expertise in any field. I'm sorry, but until we manage to develop and exploit oil reserves that deep (I'd give that ten years at a minimum), Arabia isn't going to be able to do much at all.
  • Accepted.
  • Damn.. so your saying my nation is pretty much doomed?
  • Kinda. If you can hold on for another 15-20 years then you'd be golden; otherwise, not so much.
  • Germany accepts Italy's offer and also requests that a joint-Nuclear research program be done between the two.
  • India issues a proclamation that within the year, it will gain independence for all lands currently part of the British Raj. They propose Dominion-status, rather than full independence for the moment, similar to Canada and Australia, leaving Britain with a strong ally on the Asian continent as well. The Union of India and Burma is born!

Axis vs Allies 1940

  • Yugoslavia continues to improve its military.
  • Bolivia surrenders.Brazil annexes Eastern Bolivia. They also demand that United States back off from Mexico.
  • Mexico takes back Baja California.
  • Okay. Just how is that plausible? The US has a far more numerical, advanced army.
  • Western Cuba helps Mexico take back Northern Mexico.
  • OK - when did half of Cuba attain the naval strength to transport enough troops and equipment across 500 miles of ocean to make a difference against the US? The US had the largest sub fleet in the world at the time and I'd doubt they'd just let a bunch of transports (that is, if Cuba or Mexico had a bunch of transports) piddle along without stopping and shooting off a few torpedoes. On another note, the Mexican forces probably have the upper hand in the conflict, so it is quite possible for the Mexican Army alone to retake all that territory. Given linguistic differences and the fact that pre-WW-II US armored tactics was entirely directed towards fighting in an open battlefield (most of the occupied territory has little roads and is mainly dry, dusty mountains), the US advantage in armor would be completely negated.
  • Even so, I don't agree that Mexico can take all of Baja California from the US in half a year.
  • Read my post again. The US couldn't truly take all that territory in two years, let alone one.
  • President Roosevelt has a speech in which he says that "the American people will never bow down in the face of dictatorship and fascism". He refuses to back out of Mexico and sends more troops. The Manhattan Project, with Robert Oppenheimer at the head, continues. The US also sends thousands of military advisers, trainers, and troops to train Saudi Troops.
  • Mexico isn't fascist right now. They're primarily communist.
  • Korea supports the US in words, but really can't do anything. They watch for a Japanese counterattack, and begin to improve their military.
  • India nominates Jawaharlal Nehru as Prime Minister, Muhammad Ali Jinnahas Deputy Prime Minister, and Prince Henry Duke of Gloucester as the Governor General. New Delhi is named as the capital, but Calcutta is the Governor-General's residence. India, in an effort to mediate the situation, as a new and non-aggressive country, requests that the US leave Mexico, however it proposes that the two warring should sign a Cooperation Act. Any attacks on helpless foreign countries by Mexico would be the cause of a new war.
  • Saudi Arabia sends its newly trained troops to their borders. They ask the US if they can help them construct some aircraft carriers and other battleships. They also continue to improve their education system. Meanwhile, relations woth Italy began to wither.
  • We will send help
  • Germany by now contains one of the largest submarine fleets in the world with some being in reserve in order to be taken apart and made able to hold nuclear weapons once there research has been complete. It supports India's position on the U.S. occupation of Mexico and demands that it leave "for better or worse". Germany also draws up plans for a new aircraft carrier that is quick, has great armor, and can hold a somewhat great quantity of aircraft. Germany also announces that it stands besides Italy if any war breaks out against one another, the choice is a result of the the United States oppression against Mexico and they begin to show propaganda showing president Roosevelt ripping the Monroe Doctrine in one hand and holding "Roosevelt's World Order" in the other.
  • Italy continues improving its military (again, especially in Somalia), and again demands that the United States back off, or war will be declared. They give the United States half a year more before the declaration takes effect. They also ask Germany to back up Italy's ultimatum. They also agree to Germany's idea of a joint nuclear project in order to get the products before the United States. In order to dissuade the United States from continuing the war, they send one hundred thousand volunteers and put them under Mexican rule in order to help their advances, and to help train and arm the Mexican army better. They also send some weapon technology to the Mexicans.
  • Just one thing. After the Treaty of Versailles, Germany could only have 100,000 army, no air force or navy, and certainly no WMD program.
  • The Treaty of Versailles has been invalided in the last few turns, and WMD programs weren't mentioned in the Versailles treaty.
  • Finland backs up the US request, and also start improving the army and sending troops to Mexico.
  • Siam agrees to support whichever side of the Second Mexican-American War has a better offer for aid. The Siamese invade Johor and Kuala Lumpur, effectively destroying British power in the Strait of Malacca. Thailand begins to benefit from the productive trade on that strait.

  • Yugoslavia declares war against Albania.
  • India sets up a Constitution for Republic Day, January 1943. It also creates factories and jobs in the North West Frontier State and Balochistan, sending massive amounts of people to the unpopulated areas. This area serves as the Army training camp, however arms are built in Central India, around the Hyderabad region, to give a protected central location for production. It makes the Indian Army Act, which states that any and all fit men shall join the Indian Army, however they will only ship out in the case of war. The government promises cheap housing and education, similar to the GI Bill. It proves to be successful, with eight million troops in the professional army and 18 million in the reserves.
  • Eight million soldiers in the professional army? That's insane and totally implausible.
  • China once boasted 200 million.
  • India also has the biggest female army in the world (peacekeeping use, of course). And a lot of people.
  • Germany begins sending support to families in India who either have little or nothing and they establish the Unterstützung von deutschem Indien Program (Germany-India Support Program) in order to keep up its funding. Germany also establishes the Afrika Army Group an division reserved for supporting Italy if war ever breaks out in Africa, in other news it also begins to send support (Mostly War materiel and Supplies) to Mexico in order to fight out the U.S. Germany begins to also help Africa gain independence by lending weapons and supplies to fight of the foreigners and to help establish a strong Pro-German feeling.
  • Saudi Arabia manages to create two aircraft carries and 10 destroyers thanks to the help of the USA. A large port is constructed on the coast.
  • You know how much does an aircraft carrier cost? It's almost impossible for impoverished Saudi Arabia to have one, not even with U.S help.
  • Siam secures the rest of Malaya after invasion of Khota Baharu, seizing some of the British navy.
  • Yo Britain…
  • The Malaysian people take advantage of the current situation to declare total independence from Britain, and formally request an alliance with Siam.

  • Yugoslavia requests an alliance with Germany.
  • Brazil begins to develop an air force.
  • India amasses troops near the Siam region. Production on tanks has already been started, and whatever armaments the British left is technically theirs. India requests an alliance with Germany against Siamese aggression. India sends 100, 000 troops to Mexico in an effort to keep the peace and restore order.
  • Malaysian soldier-rebels fortify Kuala Lumpur, and state their demands to Siam for full independence. Malaysians violently kill any remaining British troops.
  • The US agrees to India's proposition, and backs out of Mexico, but warns them not to annex/conquer any more nations. However, they begin training for fighting in mountainous campaigns, due to the disastrous Mexico war. They also ask India for an alliance, but tells them to keep out of North America.
  • Korea begins to develop an air force, with help from the US. They ask any other nations to help them.
  • India agrees to an alliance with the US, and they will only interfere in North America as peacekeepers or allies to the US. They are willing to collaborate in the Manhattan Program.
  • Siam launches an invasion of Tenasserim and Pegu, giving it control of the Andaman Sea. Siam places an independent puppet government in Malaysia, although Singapore and Penang would remain under Siamese control.
  • Mexico demands money from the US to repair damage done by the war and for all territory to be returned.
  • We did return all territory, and sorry, but we're not going to pay. The people of the US still consider you the aggressor, and if we did pay, there would be a lot of dissent among the people.
  • The Havana project continues to go well. Meanwhile, violence between Eastern and Western Cuba continues to escalate.
  • Saudi Arabia continues to build up its army and navy.

  • Brazil continues to build up its army and air force.
  • India commissions a Thyssen Krupp plant to help produce steel for weapons and the air force. India declares war on Siam and moves three hundred thousand troops into Siam with the goal of having it disarm, pay reparations and return the land to Britain. The troops recapture Southern Burma (because of their numbers.) and lay siege to Bangkok (the border of Burma and Thailand is really close to Bangkok. The troops capture the land strip that separates the north of Siam and the south, preventing supplies from getting to their army in Malaysia. India also sends 21 Battleships to blockade Siam, and divide the Mainland armed forces and the ones in Borneo.
  • Siam took Southern Burma last turn.
  • Also, where did India get a hundred battleships? The most the US ever had was 37!
  • India has much more manpower, plus they got whatever arms Britain left upon independence. I'll change the number to 21 I guess.
  • Siam doesn't have any territory on Borneo. Also there would be no way to get to Bangkok (Strait of Malacca is obviously not an option) except across the Shan Plateau which is fortified heavily.
  • Malaysian rebels, deny Siam's puppet state to be free, and they refortify their base in Kuala Lumpur. They formally ask India and the US for an alliance. (the US has a very convenient Philippine territory)
  • Who's controlling Malaysia? It's part of Siam.
  • I'm controlling Free Malaysia. They're rebels now, and hopefully soon they will be the government. Batmanary
  • Do you have a serious antipathy for Thailand or something? It's already surrounded by Britain and France. Please give some slack… I only have one nation. I don't feel like starting an atomic war by taking over "Unified South America" and declaring war on India.
  • You did declare war when you invaded southern Burma. It's a part of India, which is currently a dominion of Britain anywho, plus I chose Malaysia before you annexed it...
  • "The Siamese invade Johor and Kuala Lumpur, effectively destroying British power in the Strait of Malacca." This was before you joined. So all that was really left of Malaya was the east coast, which isn't very populated. Unless we are going to have allowance of creating states in other peoples territory (Pakistan/Burma), please scale back in Malaysia. As for India, I don't see how it is possible for it to launch a large scale invasion so soon after independence. And also why is Burma part of independent India? There's no unity, geographic, economic, or cultural with India.
  • Burma was part of India colonially until '36, and as Baconton didn't change anything about that I'd say it is still part of India. Plus it is as ethnically divided and as diverse, so it doesn't necessarily have a strong movement. I think we do have an allowance, because it says that you create, then declare independence. I'll play as your puppet state if it helps though...
  • The Sherman tank is now completed and begin mass production. The Manhattan Project continues, and production of war materials also continues. Roosevelt says that he sees a major war on the horizon, and also sends several battleships and a carrier to help India against fascist Siam. They also send 7,000 landing troops, along with several dozen new Shermans. Research on new turbojet engines commences, and the Roosevelt class turbojet planes are created, which can go up to 673 mph.
  • Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen its navy and army.
  • Eastern Cuba sends aid to Vietnam. Meanwhile, conditions really improve in both Western and Eastern Cuba. Eastern Cuba asks to trade with Italy, Germany, and Siam while Western Cuba asks to trade with the USSR. They already trade with Mexico.
  • Mexico works on improving conditions.

  • The US sends more troops and tanks to India, and mass production on turbojet planes continue. A new aircraft carrier is built, named the USS California, which is about the size and capacity of the USS Enterprise, or the "Big E".
  • Korea continues to reform their nation.
  • Italy sends re-enforcements and troops to help Siam, in order to keep a friendly ally on the US. They also demand that the US stops its "militant imperialistic ways" or war will be declared. Italy also continues to improve its army's and navy's quality and number status, which is now among the first in Earth. It also agrees to East Cuba's proposal.
  • India hopes to buy a production license on the Sherman tanks made in the US. India, under pressure from the war, decides that they should spend more on weapons, and this starts to give more jobs to the regular populace ... the poor are given enough money to go settle in the resettlement camps in modern-day Pakistan. The population there increases and Quetta alone has millions of people. India starts to develop an independent air force to counteract everyone elses. The army now has two million people in it.
  • 75 million.... not plausible at all. You can't have a 75 million army in 1942. Just not possible, the entire population of India in 1947 was 375 million, just implausible, also it's called the Sherman tank, not the Tiger, that's German.
  • okay thanks for the help...please leave suggestions if I'm being implausible :D
  • And we'll sell you the production license.... never mind, let's move this to the diplomacy page.
  • Malaysian rebels succumb to Siam. They officially sue for peace August 19th of 1942.
  • Britain offers an alliance to the US, and sends more troops to the Island of Malta and fortify Somaliland and Egypt in case of war with Italy. They give up on Malaysia for now, but hope to get some strategic gains closer to the Mediterranean.

  • Eastern and Western Cubas continue to amp up their economy and military.
  • Mexico warns the world against American warmongering. They say that America, though once noble in ideas, is corrupt. Meanwhile, the military and economy is amped up.
  • The US continues production on turbojet planes, as well as Sherman tanks. They begin mass production of B-29 Super fortresses as well as the B-17 Flying Fortress. The Manhattan Project continues, and much uranium is bought from Norway. Meanwhile, a plutonium implosion device is theorized, and a fictional UD3 expert Harold Bunting is hired. He is a Jew, and a Zionist, wanting to restore the land of Israel. The US considers buying the British Mandate of Israel from Britain, as to provide a homeland for Jews, despite protests in Arab nations.
  • Korea continues to amp up their military, while improving their economy. They also begin to get experts from the USSR, USA, and Britain to train their troops. They also offers the US a pittance for the Sherman tank, not expecting that the US will accept. They also ask the US to help jump-start their nuclear program, to protect themselves from the USSR, China and Japan.
  • Italy begins a great fund into military projects in order to improve their tanks, air force and navy, as it was long overdue in terms of armament if America is taken in mind. They also continue funneling troops to Siam. Finally, the Italo-German joint nuclear research project starts giving fruit with the Milan Pile-1, a pile of nuclear materials that was able to reach critical mass and create a nuclear reaction for twenty-eight minutes before Enrico Fermi shut it down in a racket ball court in Milan. The voltage it produced was extremely low and the radiation increase was negligible, yet it convinced the Italian government to fund more money to the joint Italo-German nuclear project.
  • Germany introduces its highly new submarine into the U-Boat class with most defects of the last class being eliminated and its speed, turning speed, torpedo speed, and design turn it into the most adequate submarine in the world at the moment. Meanwhile, new tanks such as the Panzer family are introduced along with the Tiger and Jaguar families. In the meantime, Germany begins its planning for the invasion of France and its Mororco and Algeria holdings with joint plans with Italy over the invasion of Egypt and the Middle East are also undergoing planning. (P.S.: Don't all of the sudden say you're arming against Germany because no nation except Germany or Italy know of these plans and there are no defectors so don't just make up some story saying your nation somehow finds out)
  • India draws up top secret plans regarding the invasion of Afghanistan, and sends in reinforcements to the India-Siam border to safeguard Tenasserim.
  • The United Kingdom, already armed against Italy, due to its support of Siam, sends in reinforcements to Egypt and Somaliland. They develop a new line of Spitfires and also wish to join Korea in an alliance against any hostile nations. They start to amp up their army and navy, which is the Pride of Britain. They recommend a joint nuclear program between the US, UK and India, which could develop something brilliant.
  • Saudi Arabian troops continue to train, and the navy is made stronger. Sherman tanks are put in the army, given to them by the US. The Saudi Armed forces and finally considered a regional power, and they began to prepare for an attack on their enemy.
  • Siam expands its military significantly and finishes putting down the Malays. It also upgrades its education system to be only in standard Krungthep Thai. Italian is offered as a second language. Siam offers to form a pact between all fascist aligned nations.

  • The US continues production of turbojet planes, as well as Sherman tanks. They continue mass production of B-29 Super fortresses as well as the B-17 Flying Fortress. The Manhattan Project continues, The US also offers Britain a pittance for the land of Israel. They also begin research on a plutonium implosion device, which would have a higher yield than a uranium device. They expand their Atlantic fleet, as well as the Pacific fleet based in Hawaii. They also manage to crack Italian and German encryption codes, and begin to intercept conversations from the leaders of both nations. Note: Once again, you don’t now about this, so please don’t. They also sell the Sherman tank for a pittance, and help jump start their nuclear program.
  • Korea continues to amp up their military, while improving their economy. They also continue to get experts from the USSR, USA, and Britain to train their troops. They start their nuclear program, getting experts from the US and Britain to help them.
  • India sends more troops to the border with Siam, and sends its navy to block the latest shipment of troops from Italy. The Navy and now-fledgeling Air Force bombards Singapore, though the Singapore fortifications destroy many planes. India also achieves full independence at this point, but chooses to keep an alliance with Britain and the US. India offers Korea an alliance.
  • Accepted
  • Britain decides, that Italy and Germany as allies are a threat too close to home, and they send more troops to their Mediterranean bases. By the way, is Spain Republican or National, in this timeline? I'm going to assume it is Republican. They offer an alliance to the Spanish as well.
  • I'm pretty sure it's Republican... let me check.
  • No it's Nationalist, the war ended before WW-II began.
  • The war started in late 1936, and nothing appeared in the map game. So it's still republican.
  • The general consensus in this regard is that if it is not mentioned and preexisting conditions make it likely that it will happen and no player bothers to do anything about it, then it will happen regardless (see the breakup of the KU in the first Europe 1430). The Nationalists had overwhelming support in the colonies as well as among the navy, while the Republicans were mainly a hodgepodge of regional movements and had support only among the army. Nationalist leadership had a clear command structure, while Republicans had several chains of command constantly jockeying for power, as well as ideologies as varied as social democrat to anarchist to Leninist to hardcore Stalinist. Even without outside influences, Franco would have won handily. Nations are not frozen in time and then unpacked the second somebody mentions them.
  • Italy, threatened by Britain, starts to prepare mobilization, while it continues to improve its army and navy. They also change their encryption to a new one that only Germany and Italy knows. It is estimated that it will take four to five years to decode the new code. That means no "America discovers all of Italy's secrets!!", Pita. Also, the Italians continue their military projects. Finally, the Germans and Italians start discussing the division of Europe into the New Roman Empire, a Greater Germany, and puppet states for different ethnic groups.
  • Wait... you shouldn't know we broke your code. That's the problem with map games. We have to put up our posts in front of everyone so everyone can see, and implausibly counter it.
  • So what, saying that the US all the sudden can describe our code RIGHT after I post that their planning an invasion and war against France with Italy is ALSO implausible.
  • Sorry... didn't read that post about preparing for war, but I would say that the US could, and right now, with all the tension, they have a pretty good reason to.
  • Germany's U-boat fleet is now the largest in the world and the one of the most modern at the time, it begins to send its fleet out of the Baltic sea in order to prevent blockades and 1/3 is sent to Italian naval bases in the Mediterranean. The German Air Force also posses many modern aircraft such as the Messerschmitt Me 209 which had reached production far shorter then suspected to, with its land forces also being very compatible. It begins to set troops at the German-French border, the German-Belgian Border, and the German Dutch border in preparation for its invasion, one invention also begins mass production: The Radar; many of these are in large numbers since first being produced in 1937. With everything in place, Germany now begins to continue to plan its invasion of France. Quick Note: The US cannot just join the war, for much of the population did not want anything to do with it until after the Japanese on Pearl Harbor, so just think about that not to mention it is already fighting a war against Mexico.
  • Technically, the war against Mexico is over, but if they attack any of our allies, we're going to join.
  • But think about it, besides that the average U.S. citizen has no real reason to get involved in the war due to it presenting very few advantages for them. Also, the U.S. did not join the League of Nations due to that fact that it would bring them into foreign war which is just the situation, the U.S. probably can't join because most people have the same opinion of their allies as they did with the League of Nations: WE WANT NO WAR ON OTHER CONTINENTS!!!!
  • Sorry, I meant that the U.S. citizens would want no war due to it presents few possibilities such as helping them with the economy, etc.
  • Siam send support for German and Italian invasions, while continuing to expand near Kosong and in Cambodia.
  • Saudi Arabia begins to get ready for an invasion of Somalia. Hey Italy can't know about this. It's secret and only the USA knows!!!
  • Eastern Cuba offers support to Italy. The economy goes up. Meanwhile, the Havana Project continues to go well. Western Cuban spies sneak into the Manhattan Project Nobody knows about this. While they are productive and lead the project in the right direction, information is relayed to Western Cuba.
  • Mexico offers support against fascism.

A U-Boat accidentally sinks a British ship, the Birmingham, a private cruise ship. This causes massive unrest, with people calling for war and retaliation against Germany. Note: Remember, mods write events, not what happened after that. WW2 may or may not start, but it all depends on how the players react to events. Mods do NOT say that because of that, Britain declares war on Germany. That's up to Britain.

  • The US continues production on turbojet planes, as well as Sherman tanks. They continue mass production of B-29 Super fortresses as well as the B-17 Flying Fortress, and begin training the new group, the "Hell's Boys", dive bombers against carriers. . The Manhattan Project continues, The US again offers Britain a pittance for the land of Israel. They also continue research on a plutonium implosion device, which would have a higher yield than a uranium device. They expand their Atlantic fleet, as well as the Pacific fleet based in Hawaii.
  • Einstein and his staff finally end up with a new weapon: The V-I rocket which can cause considerable damage and the V-2 which can cause massive damage to land and sea craft. A new cruiser which can contain and launch V-I and/or V-2 rockets also begins construction, meanwhile Germany offers to repay for the damage done to the British ship and to also address an apology. Another breakthrough is made when three new German jet aircraft begin production after long waiting and testing: the Me-262, a heavily armed and armored fighter that can go at an considerable speed, the Arado Ar 234 Blitz an quick bomber that could go both long distance and carry a big bomb load, and finally the Horten Ho 229, an fighter that could go to very fast speeds, had an large armament, and good armor although its main weakness was that it was unusually large. With its nation finally prepared, Germany closes its ports to Great Britain and thE U.S. and orders for Operation Bodenplatte which is delivered by the new code that Italy had help create, which at the time is mostly unreadable. Berlin contacts Italy and tells it to begin mobilization, it also begins to send another submarine fleet to Asia and also request that Siam open its ports to its "new allies".
  • Britain declares war on Germany and Italy. They send a massive influx of troops into Libya, in Operation: Thunderstrike, sending soldiers from Egypt, they dig in at Benghazi. British troops land in Sicily from Malta and attempt to take the island to no avail. They simply capture Palermo.
  • Um, what's the reason of you declaring war? It has no sense.
  • Umm Yeah Germany torpedoed a British Ship. Italy is known to be in the German camp. Declaration of war to you both.
  • Just because I'm an ally of Germany doesn't mean that I had something to do. That's the nonsensical part. Besides, the Lusitania wasn't the cause of America's entry in WW1, and that was as bad as this. Oh well! Just start the war!
  • India sends more troops to the Siamese border and they basically fork from the northwest, going behind the fortifications, and taking Chiang Mai. (similar to what the Japanese did to Singapore, only on land, and taking much longer.)
  • …So you can take a city extremely far from your capital on some of earth's most difficult terrain but I cant take Tenasserim which is one-days' walking distance from my capital. Ohhh...okay I never challenged your ability to get Tenasserim I thought you wanted it legitimately. Plus I wrote that i invaded it back. It is a tiny strip of land after all
  • Saudi Arabia starts its invasion of Italian Somaliland. Troops land on the coast, and manage to take the beach but takes heavy casualties. Tanks given to the Arabs by America clear out Italian fortifications and the Saudi Air force acts like more of the eyes of the army than bombers or fighters, spotting enemy bunkers and other fortifications. By June they have pushed their way to Mogadishu.
  • Italy, due to the fact that it's already mobilized and has a strong military, is able to retake Palermo and most of Libya. They also begin to block Malta so that British troops do not attack again. The Italians also attack France, an ally of Britain. They reach as far as Tunis and easternmost Algeria. Finally, the troops try to land into Gibraltar with inactive help from neutral Spain. They also are able to retake most of Somaliland. This is nonsensical. It is Republican Spain, it wouldn't help Italy, plus it is in an alliance with Britain, and ideologically aligned toward communism and democracy, not Fascism.
  • We've decided that it's Nationalist Spain, not republican. See Matt's above post.
Okay sure... they're Nationalist, but I already made an alliance with them as Britain.
  • Sweden continues to improve their military and prepare for war with Britain.
  • Turkish forces mobilize. The air force is significantly expanded.
  • Finland and the rest of the pro-Italian alliance (the NPC ones) declare war on Britain.
  • The Siamese cut off Indian troops in Chiang Mai, taking advantage of the surrounding geography. They reinforce the Karen mountains.

  • Saudi Arabia strikes again in Somalia. They hit the Italians hard pushing them back. This time they reach Mogadishu. Arab troops pour into the city, taking hold of the city. Tens of thousands of Arab and Italian troops die in the campaign.
  • America sends trainers, supplies, and weapons to the Saudis, even gifting them with designs of turbojet engines, and carriers. They again continue production on war materials, and by now, most industries are geared towards war. Roosevelt begins his Fireside chat, and begins to prepare for war.
  • Korea keeps on improving their infrastructure.
  • Turkey sends supplies and materials to Italy. They remove tariffs on Axis trade as well, and continue to expand their air force.
  • Sweden continues to improve their navy and air defenses.
  • Britain hits Somalia and send a lot of troops to reinforce the Arabs. They also push forward in Libya and retake Benghazi, establishing a stronghold. The British also send troops to France and the Low Country borders against Germany. They also refortify Malta, with the Navy having the Mediterranean as its stronghold.
  • India sends a bombing run over the forests to hopefully kill Siamese soldiers, and they manage to take thousands, however thousands of Indian soldiers are killed as well. Indian soldiers also invade eastern Malaya and capture Singapore through the back, with heavy casualties on both sides.
  • The Main thrust by the German army begins with its invasion through the Ardennes region, which catches the Allies by surprise due to there thinking of it being "impenetrable". While this goes through, the sub-German invasions through Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, and Alsace Lorraine begin as well. In the Mediterranean German forces are sent to Libya to help the Italian forces, with German U-boats and aircraft preventing the British and French navies from causing to much harm the the transports. German subs begin there rampage in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic near Great Britain, they soon warn that any ship that comes close to the island nation will be torpedoed with little or no warning.
  • Mexico improves its military and already thriving economy.
  • East Cuba sends aid to Italy. Meanwhile, Western Cuba improves its military/economy. Spies put the Cubans on par with America.
  • Italian forces, with the recently acquired East Cuban aid, and the distraction of the British in Northern Europe, start retaking most of Somalia, up until the borders of Puntland. They build trenches and place the fleet there in custody, making a new invasion of Somalia almost impossible. In Libya, Italian troops disembark in badly-protected Albadya, and make the stalemate just a pocket of resistance. After this is achieved, part of the gigantic troop that disembark in Libya, fully equipped for the desert, start retaking most of Cyrenaica and start heading for Egypt.
  • The thing is... that Britain owns British Somalia, and in fact the Saudis are the ones who are mainly beating back Italy through the British soil...
  • And what does that have to do with my post?
  • Brazil declares war against Paraguay.
  • Yugoslavia conquer the Albanian capital, Tirana.

  • Yugoslavia sells part of the Danube Banovina to Hungary.
  • West Cuba decides to announce that they have spies in the Manhattan Project. However, the spies are leading scientists crucial to the project. Should America fire the spies, the Manhattan Project would take longer to complete. Western Cuba declares that it wants an honest partnership against fascism. Meanwhile, Eastern Cuba continues to give aid to Italy.
  • The Cubans don't have nuclear scientists, especially ones that could be useful to the United States. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I propose a retcon of this. Not only that, but Cuba doesn't have the resources to make nuclear weapons, so the spies would be pretty much useless unless you sell the info to someone else. only the Russians infiltrated the Manhattan Project, and the Germans got their info on Manhattan from intercepted Russian communications. Azecreth 21:01, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
  • Mexico, seeing Western Cuba's spy incident, asks for permission to have info about the Manhattan Project. Cuba declines. In fact, Western Cuba tries to broker peace between Mexico and the USA.
  • German land surround the french forces stationed Maginot Line while German Stukas begin there strafing and bombing of Allied troops, buildings, transportation lines, etc. As this continues, a young general by the last name Rommel earns the name Desert Fox after pushing the British back and almost into Egypt, he soon calls upon the Italians to help with the push. The combined Axis research continues as one of the scientists, Albert Einstein begins thinking up a new theory that could give them an advantage over the enemy...
  • Saudi Arabia once again invades Somalia, but this time through British Somalia. The Saudi Army flanks the Italians, kills the soldiers, and after a five day battle in Mogadishu, they secure the city . Saudi Arabia's flag is put in Mogadishu.
  • Okay, stop. I already wrote that Somalia was impregnable.
  • Nothing is impregnable, just hard to take. Azecreth 21:07, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
  • Italy again takes over Mogadishu. Italian troops also land on South Yemen. By the end of the year, Aden and all of its ports are burnt down, and all of Yemen is taken. This means that Saudi Arabia can't cross the Red Sea any more and invade Somalia. UNDERSTAND?! Italy also retakes the rest of Libya and reaches westernmost Egypt, defeating the British at El Alamein. Very improbable that you can do all that. In Libya, Britain practically has you blockaded from Malta, so no reinforcements, but taking Yemen in a six months? VERY IMPLAUSIBLE.
  • I blocked Malta, remember? Besides, if the Saudis can take over most of Somalia in six months, so can I to Yemen.
  • The only reason the Saudis can do that is because Britain has land there as well. In your case, The Suez is British controlled and Egypt is firmly in British hands, so you literally have no way to reinforce your troops and definitely not invade Yemen.
  • I control Eritrea. I am within the Red Sea and as such I hold it.
  • Finland sends a large army to Italian Somalia. From there, they send a troop towards Jizan, which is taken and burnt to the ground.
  • How exactly are you reaching Italian Somalia? Azecreth 21:07, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
  • Um... they are allies of the Italians and have free pass through Sweden and Italy?! Besides, what do you have against me?
  • Yeah Britain controls Suez, so unless you are going around the Cape, then you have an exhausted pack of reinforcements.
  • Nothing. I'm just the implausibility detector and I'm sorry if I found it hard to believe that Finland would send an army to Somalia. Azecreth 12:44, March 7, 2011 (UTC)
  • Like it is hard to believe that Saudi Arabia became a military power from the nothingness it was. But there's no problem with that in this game, is there?
  • Turkish armored formations sweep into the Levant and knock aside the token French garrisons at Aleppo and Beirut. They arm Yazidi and Druze militants who promptly secure Galilee and most of Lebanon independent of the Turks. A second force advances down the Tigris to Mosul but are forced back at Kikurk by strong Arab resistance. In order to gather more support for the war effort and remove a dangerous factor in the war, Kemal authorizes the creation of a Kurdish state in southeast Turkey and parts of the British Dominion of Iraq. This frees up a good bit of Turkish paramilitary forces from policing duties.
  • Swedish troops land in the Low Countries, relieving German forces there and allowing them to reinforce the front lines in France. Utilizing the confusion caused by German forces surrounding the Maginot Line, a Swedish armored division with over 150 tanks and 7,000 infantry penetrate the countryside to Reims and then swing around into Nancy. Raids by the Swedish Navy at Brest and Cherbourg destroy much of the French fleet in France proper and deny reinforcements from Africa or Britain a place to land large units in force. This means that the nearest port that could receive such reinforcements would be Lorient.
  • The US lays low and doesn't do anything for now, and dismiss Cuba's claims of spies to be false. They now have one of the most high-tech and largest armies, and a draft is put out for the eventual war. Meanwhile, Roosevelt suffers a stroke, worrying everyone.
  • Korea says neutral... for a while. They decide to act as a base for the US and the USSR, and continue rebuilding their economy.
  • Saudi sends bombers to Somalia. They bomb Italian fortifications, and create havoc among the enemy ground forces. However, Italy's fighter jets shoot down most of the bombers, causing them to retreat.
  • British forces retake Alamein ... they also send a bombing run over Rome. This causes a lot of chaos on the streets. British forces invade Ethiopia from Sudan. They take Addis Ababa.
  • The Indian Army sends more troops to Chiang Mai, opening up the pocket. From Tenasserim, they bomb Siam, but offer another option: surrender and no land will be taken. Siam would be allowed to keep Malaya, but Siam would join the Allied camp.

  • The US sends more supplies to the Allies, and encourages the Soviet Union to join the war. They also continue production on war materials.
  • India sends a signatory for the Treaty of Chiang Mai ... the armistice of India and Siam ... and the offer of become Allies with your gains intact remains.
  • Britain blockades Italy, and sends in submarines to blow up the German ships trying to invade. Spanish troops help the French push the Germans back into the Maginot Line, however the Low Countries remain occupied. Britain quickly retakes Yemen with Saudi help and cuts of the Suez Canal, preventing reinforcements to Somalia. They also pressure the Soviets to join.

Guys, new thing. I'm hoping to make this a full timeline, so I want you guys to make pages for your nations and stuff, like World War II (Axis vs Allies). Thanks! PitaKang- (Talk|Contribs)

  • Italy is able to break the blockade, and offers Somalia and Eritrea in change for peace. Secretly, it starts discussing a bombing campaign called the Blitz in order to burn London to the ground. How does Italy even get their planes over to Britain?
  • Saudi offers Italy peace in exchange for Somalia.
  • Britain accepts peace and Somalia, and offers Eritrea to Saudi Arabia(easier to access or Saudis) free of charge.
  • German troops in France, with help from the Swedes, begin to encircle the Allies by sending in the 7th and 12th Panzer diversions both of which where to be led by the famous Ewrin Rommel who was transferred from Africa due to becoming sick various times. Both of these division where to strike through the Maginot Line which was recently penetrated by other German divisions. With the British to pre-occupied in Northern France and the Low countries, the plan starts out quick and precise with the German air force clearing the way. The German U-Boat fleets in the Mediterranean and Atlantic form wolf packs, the tactic of wolf packs resembles a Blitzkrieg, with the enemy being surrounded and eliminated; these wolf packs begin to implant severe damage on all fronts. In Libya, German forces finally manage to bring the British to the Egypt-Libya border where an stalemate begins, German troops dig in with land mines also being placed down, not to mention anti-tank weapons including the 8.8 gun which proves to be an legend, with its ability to easily remove tanks from the battlefield. German representatives are sent to India to propose a non-aggression act.

Axis vs Allies 1946

  • Yugoslavia completes its conquest of Albania.
  • Brazil starts to improve its education the moment, it already occupíes the Alto Paraguay region.
  • The US continues to send supplies to the Allies.
  • Korea continues to improve their infrastructure.
  • Britain takes a different approach, and with peace with Italy, it can look at Germany completely. It sends in a lot of African troops into the Netherlands, and pushes the line of battle into Germany, with the city of Aachen totally destroyed in the onslaught. Britain rains firebombs on Dresden and Dusseldorf, but is willing to negotiate a White Peace with the Germans to focus on other matters.
  • Spain sends in more troops to push the Germans back to the Maginot.
  • India sends in troops to Turkey via Iraq, and invades the Turkish Kurdistan region. They also agree to a non-aggression pact with Germany, as long as they don't meddle in Asian affairs.
  • Germany agrees, but demands the following territories: Alsace-Lorraine, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxemburg and they are willing to pay for damages if they do the same. They also propose that both nations try to live together without conflict. In exchange for the territories token by Germany, Great Britain would be able to take claim on Netherlands Asian colonies and Belgium's African colony. Britain will allow A-L, Luxembourg and Belgium, but they want the Netherlands free, as the Queen is a personal friend. In return however, they will send the Kaiser's body to Berlin for a full State Funeral.
  • Now that Italy has secured peace with Britain, troops are recalled from Somalia and Eritrea, and head towards France, which was not mentioned in the treaty. By the end of the year, Italy has taken all France up to Avignon and the city of Algiers in Algerian coast.
  • Saudi Arabia occupies Somalia, because Britain had made a deal with them. Saudi continues to build up its navy.
  • The French will give Alsace-Lorraine to Germany for peace. They also pay damages to Germany and Italy.
  • Sweden offers peace to the allies for trade concessions. They bulk up their air force and navy.
  • France began a major public works program to build new buildings in Paris such as a new capital due to a fire set off by a communist. France cuts off relations with the Soviet Union and ask for alliances to the U.K, U.S and Korea. France also announces a release of the Indochina and West African colonies in four years. They also grow the military.

  • Brazil asks for an alliance with Mexico.
  • India celebrates Republic Day, finally. The new president is Jinnah and the prime minister is Nehru. By now Quetta has a huge population, which is surprisingly mostly Hindu. India also pushes the border through in Turkey, and creates a Kurdish State there.
  • The Turks already created an independent Kurdish state out of part of both Turkey and Iraq.
  • Britain continues to sends forces to Turkey, as they were not mentioned in any peace deal, and send in troops to Istanbul, via Paratroopers.
  • Mexico accepts. They suggest that both nations need to amp up their militaries, should the United States frown upon any expansion by Mexico or Brazil.
  • Western Cuba amps up its military. It prepares for war with Eastern Cuba.
  • Italy continues its war again France, demanding Algeria, Tunis, Corsica and the Rhineland in exchange for peace.
  • Turkish, Kurdish, and Yazidi forces throw the overextended Indian forces out of Kurdistan. Istanbul is easily recaptured as Bulgarian and Romanian troops arrive and fight off the British. Kemal (not having died as in OTL) asks for a white peace, with the only concessions on the part of the British being the Kurdish parts of Iraq being added to Kurdistan. Implausible that the Turks could throw out the British-these are the massive forces from Egypt. Plus India made peace with Siam so the Army isn't overextended. I suggest you edit these posts.
  • By "overextended" I was referring to the fact that Indian forces must be supplied via the Persian gulf and then up through the Tigris, fighting Yazidi and Kurdish militants all the while. Interestingly enough, over 80% of the commercial shipping going along the Tigris is owned or operated by the Yazidi sect as of 2003; I doubt it would be much different now. Given their long history of resisting British rule, I highly doubt that they would love the Indians. With that plus Arab independence fighters in Iraq that have doubtlessly taken control of various regions, logistics would be a nightmare. As for you stating that it would be implausible to push the Allies out of the mountains, I give you the example of the Great Game in the 1900s between Britain and Russia in Afghanistan. In the battle of Khorog, four thousand jezail-armed Tajiki tribesmen held off 19,000 Russian troops for over 8 hours. With the arrival of 2,000 British regulars to reinforce them, they pushed back the Russians over 15 miles in a single day. Why? They knew the terrain and were fighting for their (supposed) independence. Not to mention that any British/Indian advantage in armor, artillery, cavalry, or even in numbers (all of which they definitely have) would be rendered ineffective and quite possibly detrimental. The sheer amount of forces you throw at the Turks will kill you, because only a few usable passes exist that would be able to take a lot of people. Your logistics and transportation would be so congested that the British would be stuck in a living quagmire of trucks, pack mules, tanks, and troops. Few telegraph lines exist within the conflict area, and those that do would undoubtedly have been taken down by Turkish or Kurdish troops. This would render all but short-range communication unavailable. All of these factors together make Anatolia virtually impenetrable, except to natives of the area. Also, the Turks had already founded a Kurdish state.
  • The US declares that any more unprovoked expansion by ANY nation will result in economic sanctions, and President Roosevelt hints possibilities of war. Meanwhile, President Roosevelt announces that he will NOT run for a 5th term, and begins to pass a bill that a President may only be president for two terms.
  • Korea continues to amp up their military as well as their economy.

  • Eurico Dutra is elected President of Brazil. He, while amping up its military, also announces the end of all current Brazilian intervention in foreign nations, including Paraguay. In the peace treaty, Paraguay requests all the territories lost in the War of the Triple Alliance as reparations of war. Brazil accepts.
  • The US applauds Brazil's stop to expansion, and requests an alliance. Meanwhile, they still send supplies and weapons to the Allies, while criticizing the hypocracy of Italy, since they told the US to stop expanding, they have invaded France with Germany. They also accept France's alliance offer and tells (not requests) Germany and Italy to leave France NOW.
  • Korea also accepts France's offer, and continues to build up militarily and economically.
  • Following the conquest of Albania, Yugoslavia reforms its administrative divisions, replacing the banovinas with the oblasts, which had already been implanted in 1922, but substituted by the banovinas in 1929. It also starts an economic collaboration with Brazil, and the King Peter II hints possibilities of an alliance.
  • Germany refuses, telling the United States that the war had come to the end and that they had no right to intervene in affairs no longer in there grasp. The treaty, they tell the U.S., had been that Alsace-Lorraine become part of Germany and that no German troops where within Frances border.
  • Britain offers Turkey a white peace, but disagreeing with Turkey's Kurdish State, it creates the mandate of Kurdistan out of the Iraqi land. Britain also plans to form the Imperial Federation, a group that would have representatives of all the current colonies and former colonies to be equally represented, akin to the Commonwealth. At this point of time, six new dominions are formed out of British-held territory: the Dominion of Kurdistan, the Union of Arab Emirates, the Dominion of Ceylon, the Dominion of Newfoundland, the Union of Egypt, and the Dominion of Belize. These join the already existing Union of South Africa, the Dominion of Canada, and the Dominions of Australia and New Zealand. Plans are being made to create the Union of Palestine, a state that controls OTL Jordan and Palestine and Israel, and the Dominions of Yemen and Oman. These states have strong independence put in their charters, and will be equally involved with the British in a trade and military aspect. Any states that try to attack these countries, will be dealt with. BTW Britain has created a separate Kurdish Dominion. The States here will remain independent, so no "suddenly so and so joined another country..." none of that.
  • Guys, let's move this discussion to the talk page. I'll make a thing there
  • India proposes that Korea, Siam, Philippines and India form a Pan-Asian Trade Agreement, to regulate trade in Asia, and eventually move the program to other Asian countries. They also have a trade agreement with the Imperial Federation and the Persians to have easier trade access, allowing Asia to be globally linked. India, also has its second elections, which result in a victory for Muhammad Ali Jinnah as the President.
  • Korea agrees.
  • The Turks accept the peace, under the condition that Kurdistan remains an independent nation with the original borders as devised by Kemal and Kurdish leaders in 1945. Pesh Merga immediately strengthen their hold over Mosul, Kikurk, and Van in order to prevent British or Turkish aggression.
  • Siam betrays India by retaking Tenasserim. Siamese-backed locals manage to militarize most of the coast, while India is taken completely by surprise. Thailand promises a unified Buddhist rule rather than the religion-torn rule of India. They request aid from Italy and Germany in order to assert control over the region, and set up a large military base in Moulmein.
  • The French announce their presence as natural and announces no wants for new territories. The French finish their new capital and announce a new railroad system (like Amtrak) called France Railways and let French Indochina get its independence as Southern Asian Republic and announces no territorial ambitions either. France and SAR also make an alliance.

Axis vs Allies 1947

  • Brazil sells part of the Amazonas state to Colombia. While continuing to improve its education system, It severs relationships with Spain and Portugal.
  • India starts mass producing propaganda in Burma and sends in more troops. It increases its Armed Forces program and it is projected to hit 10 million by 1954. It sends in more troops into Siam and recaptures Tenasserim, although it has to deal with a lot of resistance. They start a mass immigration program in Burma, similar to the one it instituted in OTL Pakistan. They also publish propaganda in the region, and give Burmese more rights in India,in the Act of Burma. India again offers Siam peace and membership in the Pan-Asian trade program, which is now offered to Turkey, as well.
  • Abdul-Aziz bin Saud, the president of Saudi Arabia, begins a militaristic program that will strengthen the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Modernization of the Armed Forces begins. Meanwhile, Oil is discovered. "Black Gold" becomes the largest export from Saudi Arabia. Slowly, Saudi begans to become rich and powerful.
  • The US approves of the Pan-Asian trade program, and offer funding for it. Meanwhile, they suggest a joint Europe-North American one similar, with free trade.
  • Korea continues to bulk up their army, and pledge their support to India, while not doing anything.
  • Britain creates one more Dominion at this time, the Union of the West Indies. They suggest the Britain-America Free Trade Commission, and propose that the League of Nations should me made into something that will ensure everlasting peace. This proposed "United Nations" would have several capitals, with the main one situated in neutral Switzerland. In the charter, war would not be declared between any members, and should any country be an aggressor to another one within the group, the rest of the members would be honor-bound to support the victim. Britain formally invites the US, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Turkey, France, Saudi Arabia and India, as the founders.
  • Italy agrees to stop the invasions and join the United Nations if France gives them OTL Paca and Rhone Alps provinces, plus Algeria, Tunis and Morocco.
  • Ummm, haven't you guys taken away enough land already?
  • I concur ...
  • Same. Germany only took Netherlands, Belgium, and Alsace-Lorraine and with that done they can now concentrate on the communist rats of Russia.
  • That's Germany, not me. I've actually LOST land in the war.
  • Saudi accepts GB's deal, and annex's GB's Arab territorries, as agreed. they join the Pan Asian trade program.
  • 'You only annex Yemen and Oman... nothing else'. I still own all of my other Arab Territories, Batmanary
  • France refuses Italy's offer and puts 15,000 on all borders with Italian Lands. They also join the United Nations.
  • I'm occupying your borders.
  • The Southern Asian Republic establishes a capital in Sargon and Invade unoccupied parts of the Dutch East Indies for its oil and rubber. It also asks for an alliance or/and a non-aggression pact with India, China, United Kingdom, and the United States.

(Note to Moderators/event creators: I say let there be civil war in the former French colony of Indochina!! It would give Germany something to do.)

Good Idea! I'll do that next turn.

Don't make a civil war, it already has allies.

  • Germany sends aid to India in its war against Siam and offers a submarine wolfpack at a very low cost, while these events unfold, it establishes a trading union which all nations no matter what religion, government, location or policies had the ability to join.
  • India agrees.
  • Britain will give Yemen and Oman to Saudi Arabia in the year 1950, after getting the papers settled for this transfer.
  • Turkey joins the UN. They expand and improve their army and logistics.
  • Sweden joins the UN. They expand their navy.

  • Brazil sells the Acre territory, along with other part of the Amazonas state, to Peru. The opposition party (UDN), condemns the deal, and the President Dutra denounces possibilities of the opposition plotting a coup to throw him over.
  • Italy annexes the both French regions and the colonies they demanded (excepting Morocco) forcefully,
  • Saudi continues to build up its Armed Forces.
  • France declares war on Italy and start massive air strikes on Rome and other major cities. They ask the U.N for help. They also set up a military draft. They capture all original French Regions and Territories.
  • Oh, PLEASE READ THE EARLIER POSTS, DAMN IT. We were already in war. Besides, how can you cross thousands of km from Morocco to Benghazi? And to bomb me when I control the French skies?!
  • I concur. The Italians are in control of almost all previously French oil-producing regions, namely Benghazi and the surrounding areas. This creates a Catch-22 situation in which the French cannot access oil because they have none. Morocco, while an oil-exporting region, has very few refineries and even less logistical resources to transport the crude to and from said refineries. It is possible for the French to recapture the Occitaigne in half a year, but it would result in such a loss of life that nobody on either side would consider it anything but a disaster. Not to mention that if you do indeed recapture that much territory in that little a time, your naval resources would be so exhausted that it would render the option of a blockade against Italy impossible.
  • The South Asian Republic has democratic elections with Communist winning in the Northern Regions and Democrats winning in the South. A treaty between both parties ban a civil war between them until 1960.
  • Germany, as requested, allows Netherlands to retain its independence while also throwing in economic support to help pay loses. The war between Italy and France causes stirrings in Germany, with many wanting an end to the war over land and colonies in Africa, they join the U.N. after some debate and propose the Republic Doctrine; the Doctrines main purpose is to support and promote independence in European colonies and to help settle disputes over them. Until France and Italy reach a point where they both agree on a border, German supplies and trade to both nations are shut down. Meanwhile in Africa, a Secret German organizations set up in both the Middle East and Africa all attempt to start anti-European feelings.
  • Britain appreciates Germany letting the Netherlands retain independence. As for the Republic Doctrine, Britain reminds Germany, that they are slowly letting go of their colonies one by one, via Dominions. They do support it however, especially in the case of unnecessary war between France and Italy. Britain also proposes Free Trade with Germany, and sees the error of their ways, with His Majesty, King George VI declaring " What a travesty it would have been had Hitler gained power!" Parliament is slowly losing seats to the socialist party (this is not a communist party), who promote welfare in the UK, and support its reforms in allowing the Commonwealth (as it is now officially called) to flourish and letting every peoples to have the basic right of independence. Britain invites the Democratic South Asian Republic to the UN. Britain sends the Netherlands economic support, and also proposes to Germany that they could bring a Kaiser back in a constitutional monarchy, as he was popular in Germany, before the War to End All Wars. However as he has died, the proposition is his son would become the new Kaiser.
  • India appreciates Germany's offer and uses the subs to take down a few Siamese ships, they reverse engineer the design, and make the Tiger subs. Indian planes bomb Bangkok, and end up putting more money into settling more people in Burma. They again offer peace to Siam, and promise the rest of the UN to not fight an offensive war, other than the bombings, and they will only fortify their own land, instead of invading Siamese sovereign land. India's Mohandas Gandhi is very nonsupportive of India's war, but the people are more appreciative, seeing this as a way to get India back to being a power. President Jinnah dies, and he has a state funeral, where he is buried in Karachi. The interim President is Khawaja Nazimuddin.
  • The US continues to give supplies to the Allies. They also continue a nuclear program with India, and will have a nuclear weapon by 1952. They also accept to be a founder of the UN.
  • Korea continues their nuclear program.
  • I have an idea. What if someone controls the UN?
  • No. If someone controls the UN then that person would essentially only pursue their interests. The UN should be dictated by proposals, as ours does.
  • Hmmm. THen how about we create a page where nations submit their Resolutions, and there would basically be a security counsil, everything our UN has.
  • Because of the war on France, The Brazilian Imperial Family flees to Yugoslavia. There, with the help of the King Peter II of Yugoslavia, a Government-in-exile is established at Smederevo. Meanwhile, Yugoslavia asks again for an alliance with Germany, since it did not respond before.
  • Germany accepts
  • France ask for the U.N to condemn Italy for its invasion of French Territories. France gets back control of French Skies and start a heavy bombing campaign of Italy. France also stages referenda in the Suriname, Venezuela and Columbia for a joining of French Guinea.
  • SAR accept the British request to join the United Nations and request a British and United States assistance to France in its war against the Italians. SAR sends 100 planes to France for it war against Italy.
  • Germany demands that negotiation of peace begin or both nations would face invasion and blockade.
  • Britain proposes a resolution to send UN peacekeepers to the war zones, to protect innocents and mediate peace. (to be voted on in the UN page by Security Council Members ONLY.
  • Um, I mean a peace treaty that BOTH sides agree on and I don't think Italy would like or go by those terms at all.
  • Okay, I make a topic on the talk page.
  • Umm... as part of my deal with Germany, I got Belgian Congo.Batmanary

Axis vs Allies 1948

  • As expected, a military coup happens. However, it fails in throw over the government. Quickly, the skirmishes between oppositionist and loyalist military spread throughout various parts of Brazil. Meanwhile, the Brazilian Imperial government-in-exile, seeing an opportunity of re-taking the power, with help of Yugoslavia, and gaining support of the state governments of Ceará, Maranhão, Piauí and Pará, establishes a provisional government with capital in Oeiras. It also asks for help of other nations.
  • Yugoslavia accepts. Meanwhile, ethnic tensions begin to rise. The possibility of reforming politically and administratively the country to avoid possible secession wars is studied.
  • Britain reminds Brazil that it is being offered Permanent Security Council Status. At this time Britain also gives Dominion status to Sudan, Kenya, Congo, Zambia, Malawi, Botswana, Tanzania and Rhodesia and the Union of Palestine.
  • India sends in more propaganda into Tenasserim, and digs in. It bombs Bangkok and Phuket again, again urging for peace between Siam, and India. It invites SAR to the Pan-Asian Union.
    • You are mistaken. Siam took Tenasserim back in 1941.'
    • 'I got it back long time. Anyway', peace is accepted, and India apologizes to Siam for killing civilians.
  • Siam agrees to non-aggression on the condition of apology for killing civilians.
  • SAR accepts India's invitation the the Pan-Asian Union. SAR also build a new airline system between Saigon and other SAR cities. They also increase the military.
  • Saudi Arabia continues to build up its military. Saudi invades Ethiopia.
  • France referendum results are in, modern day Suriname join French Guinea. France also proposes peace with Italy (Go to Talk Page).
  • Suriname was Dutch. I highly disagree with them just simply joining France, a weak country, versus Netherlands, a country, that is being funded right now.
  • I do NOT REQUEST this. Whoever is trying to make Britain and Germany unite. Don't! Batmanary
  • There is NOT going to be a union with Britain and Germany. I hope the mods didn't post it, because it is neither plausible nor wanted. Batmanary
  • Italy feels offended by both the German's and the French's demands and offers. The Fascist Council in Italy calls the Germans "treacherous", as once they helped the Italians and now they're suddenly helping the Allies in what they call "the French plots to destroy Fascism". They feel offended by the French for not accepting a "Honorable defeat" and asking for all their territories to be given back. They send most of their armies to the borders with France throughout the world, although, excepting for the last pockets of resistance in PACA and Rhone Alps, and the bombing of French aerial installations throughout the nation, no advance is made. The Fascist Party also starts to lose popularity over the Social Liberal one in Parliament.
Please get a better map. This one was bad quality, but I'm not in a position to make one right now.
