AvA Revolutions 1933.5

Just to let you know, I will do the mod events. RandomWriterGuy (talk) 04:46, August 30, 2012 (UTC) Here are the ones of this year:

  1. Gandhi is imprisoned in India.
  2. Wiley Post becomes the first person to fly all over the world.
  3. The Baltic Sea Canal finishes construction.
  4. Diexi Earthquake strikes China in Mao County, Sichuan.
  5. A tornado strikes Tampico, Mexico.
  6. Germany withdraws from the League of Nations. Britain and France shows concerns of condemnations against German mobilization and re-armament.
  7. Getulio Vargas becomes Brazilian dictator.
  8. South Dakota becomes ravaged by the Dust Storm.
  • Korea: Korean guerrillas continue to harass Japanese forces. However, their success is still very limited due to the tight Japanese rule in Korea. They have some successes, although they lose a lot of them in their raids. One good thing is the assassination of many high profile Japanese officers, although at the cost of a dozen good men.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: The Soviet Union offers to SECRETLY supply the Korean guerrillas with firearms and medicine.
    • Korean Diplomacy: Korea accepts the SECRET Soviet offer of weapons and supplies.
  • Soviet Union: Joseph Stalin orders the expansion of the Soviet Army and Air Force, and construction of two battleships to defend against the Japanese Empire begins. Meanwhile, expansion of farming operations in Ukraine, and industrial operations in Leningrad, Stalingrad and Moscow begin. Trade agreements are proposed to Germany, the United States, Britain, and France.
    • Turkish Diplomacy: Turkey would like Soviet permission to cross its territory in the Caucasus to invade Persia. The Soviet government shall be properly compensated for its aid in this endeavor.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: The Soviet Government states that there is no reason to ask Russia, as Turkey directly borders Persia to the East.
  • God, I'm slow today. -_-
  • Turkey: The Turkish government SECRETLY begins searching for ways to unite the Islamic world under their leadership, and expel the European invaders in the Middle East. The expansion of the Turkish military begins with the modernization of the army and the development of the air force. The government SECRETLY begins to supply Arab and Muslim rebels in British Palestine and French Syria, and the mobilization for a military invasion of Persia is taken.
  • Japan: Several Japanese military leaders realize the destabilization and slow progression into military rule that is happening and a very small group of generals and admirals begin making plans in alliance with more liberal and rational thinkers in the Diet to regain control of the army and the nation. These members of the Diet put forth several plans to revitalize Japanese industry and update it to begin producing more standard products and weapons, they also try to restore the Japanese reputation abroad but all efforts are paralyzed by the ultra-nationalists in the Diet and the army. The military continues massive crackdowns on the Korean populace as well as hold a tight grip on Manchuria. with the rise of problems with the U.S.S.R. Japan starts looking for a containment strategy and ups their naval operations to protect Japanese waters along with putting forth plans to build more ships and especially aircraft carriers to maintain naval dominance in the east. Troops in Manchuria and Korea are increased.
  • Argentina: The situation in Argentina continue to grow worse as the economy is going down. During this time, a charismatic man manages to unite a small group of people into a small paramilitary unit with the goal of creating a nationalist government and nationalise the industry. However, the government is not aware yet of the movement as the men continue to spread its word.
  • Spain: A brand-new dictator, Alberto Rodriguez, takes office and immediately begins sizing up the National Guard to handle the revolutionaries. At the same time, Spain is reformed into the Spanish Empire, under a socialist government. As the revolutionaries fall, surrender, or give up, Rodriguez initiates a massive industrial and military build-up, including modernization of the railway system, and launching a new Spanish Armada. We offer an alliance with Germany to assist in any future conflicts.
    • German Response: We accept the alliance (so are you National Socialist or what?)
    • Spanish Response: You know it!
  • US: Construction of the Golden Gate Bridge begins in San Francisco Bay. The U.S. Congress votes nearly favorably for Philippines independence, with the pro-independence people losing by one vote, agreeing the view of President Herbert Hoover. Officers on the USS Ramapo record a 34-meter high sea-wave in the Pacific Ocean. In Miami, Florida, Giuseppe Zangara attempts to assassinate President Franklin D. Roosevelt, but instead fatally wounds Chicago Mayor Anton J. Cermak. The Blaine Act passes the United States Senate, submitting the proposed 21st Amendment to the Constitution to the states for ratification. The amendment is ratified on December 5, endingprohibition in the United States. The original film version of King Kong, starring Fay Wray, premieres at Radio City Music Hall and the RKO Roxy Theatre in New York City. Later in the year, President Herbert Hoover is succeeded by Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR), who in reference to the Great Depression, proclaims "The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself" in his inauguration speech. FDR is sworn in by Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes. It is also the last time Inauguration Day in the US occurs on March 4. Albert Einstein arrives in the US as a refugee from Nazi Germany; he accepts a position at Princeton University. The Federal Government outlaws cannabis.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: A few Japanese officers send a representative in secret to The USA, hoping to get American support in a coup they have planned to bring Japan back to rationalization since Japan is heading toward a river of blood, violence, and chaos. They hope that the U.S.A. will accept the new regime once it comes to power.
    • US D: Certainly. The United States will lend as much as it can to the rebellious Japanese. (Think of it as a lend lease type of thing.)
  • Colombia is now under a new regime, under a charismatic man who vows to bring his people back to the glory the people used to enjoy in its early days. They send letters to the United States, assuring that the country is not allied to any Fascist country whatsoever. The country begins a massive economic and military plan to build up the military to modern and strong levels while spreading infrastructure, education, and health all over the country. It hires professionals from the United States in order to help speed up the process. They ask Argentina for an alliance and trade agreement.
    • Argentina D: The government accepts both offers.
  • Sweden: Fears of a Soviet Invasion of Finland are brought up by a Finnish Diplomat in Stockholm. The Swedish Government, while wanting to stay as neutral as the nation has been for the last century, having even been neutral during The Great War. Sweden enters a secret defensive pact with Finland, and offers similar pacts to Norway and Denmark. The Marinen (Royal Swedish Navy), is to be strengthened, with the building of two dreadnoughts under the Stockholm-class, along with ten Cruisers, 24 Destroyers, 100 Convoy Escorts and 100 Submarines, the latter of which will be modeled off of German engineers that have left Germany and taken refuge in Sweden. Most of them of Jewish ancestry, and were tired of the anti-semitism that has been brewing over there. The Flygvapnet (Swedish Air Force), is also developing new planes for defense, though have not been revealed to the public. In order to avoid conflict, a Non-Aggression Pact is sent to the Soviet Union, promising not to declare war on the Soviets, unless they attack Finland or Norway.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: <mumbles under breath> Fine.
  • Germany: A new leader, calling himself Adolf Hitler has come to power. He forms a new government and begins plans to get the population back to work. One of his first orders is to move the Victory Column which is outside the Reichstag to be moved to current OTL location (basically meaning I am too lazy to search up the area). Hitler orders a 50 mile road to be built straight from the column. He also orders the construction of many factories in the north, so that Germany has "another economic heartland". This will be connected by Autobahns which also begin construction. However, a group of Dutch Communists tried to set the Reichstag on fire, but failed when SS Officers caught them. Due to this, Hitler amasses his army onto the Dutch border and orders the Dutch to hand over all the Communists or else. Hitler also renounces the Versailles Treaty and orders re-armament to help amp up its army in case the country has to go to war with the Dutch. This includes building a world class navy again along with an air force no one can match up. However, all German designs are safe and secret and no one can get their hands on them. He then begins to look for solutions to the "Jewish Problem", and plans on buying Transjordan from Britain once the Germany economy has steadied itself. Hitler's approval rating rise as he begins to fulfill his promises.
    • Spanish Diplomacy: We will assist in finding solutions to the Jewish Problem.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: The Soviet Union proposes a trade agreement with Nazi Germany.
    • The United States: Openly denounces the new German regime.
    • The Soviet Union asks the Dutch to send the Communists to the USSR.
  • Austria: Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuss is toppled by a coup. The ringleaders crown Otto von Habsburg, who had been smuggled into the country, as the first Emperor of a new Austrian Empire. Negotiations are begun with Miklos Horthy of Hungary to reincorporate Hungary into the Empire.
    • German Response: Berlin is against such an action. They ask the Austrians why they would want another Emperor.
  • Yugoslavia: Asks for an Alliance with the USSR. Meanwhile Yugoslavian troops invade Greece.
    • Any reason for invasion?
  • Britain: The nation asks for an alliance with America and France to avoid conflicts from any European nation and warns that Yugoslavia to leave Greece, any intrusion to Greek territory will be considered as an act of war and we will not tolerate it, you are warned.
  • France: France agrees to the alliance (which was already in place in OTL). The French government also plans to aid the Greeks if any blood is spilled between the two nations. As well, seeing the recent incidents in Asia (along with fears of an Indochinese takeover), France offers Japan a military alliance, and offers help to the Japanese in the event of a Soviet-Japanese war.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: French offers will be taking into consideration by the Japanese government. The renegade military officers and politicians speak to the French ambassador about a possible French support for the coming coup to put the military and government back in line and prevent any possible disasters in the future.

  1. Fear of the rise of Germany leads to the mobilization of the Low Countries.
  2. A few uprisings against their colonial masters occur in Syria and Palestine.
  3. Greece mobilizes against Yugoslavia and asks Britain and France for help.

  • Venezuela (realized that I am not playing Colombia just to let you know) continues its economic and military expansion program. As they hire more American professionals, they knowledge is spread to its top academies and universities. They discover oil in their backyard and begin to use the resource to fund the Venezuelan military. They SECRETLY prepare for a war against Colombia and Ecuador, which will be useful in re-establishing Gran Colombia.
  • Turkey: Fearing British ambitions in Persia, Turkish forces invade the nation to secure it from the European colonial power. The Turks continue to SECRETLY provide aid to the pro-Turkish and Arab rebels, hoping to see the overthrow of the Europeans there. A trade pact is extended to the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia, and troops are promised to the Yugoslavians if the promise to leave Bulgaria and Romania to Turkey is accepted. Also, the Turk ask that the Yugoslavs not align themselves with the British or the French. The air force is expanded along with the army in light of the recent invasion of Persia.
  • USSR: The Soviets continue to support the Korean Rebels SECRETLY with arms and supplies. The USSR accepts the trade pact with Turkey, and SECRET support is sent to the Arab and Syrian rebels. Meanwhile, expansion of the Soviet Air Force continue, and construction on the two Pacific battleships are 50% complete. The Soviet Army begins building defenses along its western border with Finland, even though a non-aggression pact was signed with them.
    • German Diplomacy: The Germans agree to a trade pact. We are also looking for pacts which could mutually benefit us both.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: Agree. Possibly a non-aggression pact for now.
  • Sweden: News of Soviet defenses being built right next to Finland brings fears of a Soviet invasion of the Nordic nations. The Flygvapnet (Swedish Air Force) is still small and underdeveloped compared to the British, French, German and Soviet's. This will need to change, as multiple fighter jets are to be constructed, in case war breaks out (which looks inevitable, considering the alliances going on with Germany, Yugoslavia and Turkey's plans for invading another country). Plans to extend the order, is put into funding with Svenska Aero, to build the Svenska Aero Jaktfalken II, with 50 orders planned for the fighter plane. Since effort is put into building fighters, we ask to buy ten bomber planes from Hawker Aircraft of Great Britain, the Hawker Hart, and is willing to pay extra for blueprints to the Hawker Hart. We also ask for an economic alliance with the United States for oil, since oil shortages may become a possibility in the future.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: The defenses are for self-defense only.
    • German Diplomacy: The Germans ask for an economic and military alliance pact. We will also help you if any of the Nordic countries are invaded.
  • Japan: On the 4th of January several armed groups led by a group of military leaders seize control of the Diet and the military headquarters arresting all major officials who supported the transformation of Japan into a ultra-nationalist state. The Coup is a massive success as more military units accept the situation and Admiral Yamamoto who exercises a great level of influence in the navy along with other naval officers convince them to accept the coup. The new government lead by General Kanji Ishiwara immediately begin trying to bring the military under strict government control within the next eight months. Elections for the Diet will be held in later in the year to restore the democratic government. A hunt begins to arrest all Communists and and ultra-nationalists alike to ensure the new regime's position. A deal is offered to the Koreans: if they cease all fighting with Japan a deal will be worked out for a peaceful and hopefully friendly separation. The new government continues a few previous policies of extending the navy but adds improving it to the priorities as well as designing new firearms, and tanks for the army. Also the government starts looking into the possibility into gaining submarines and anti submarine technology (a major factor for their lose at sea in OTL WW-II) The new government request international recognition, and requests that a return of normal relations come to Japan and the west after the previous blunders made by the previous governments.
    • Uhh, mods? Hello? I'm pretty sure inventing characters is a big no-no... In any case, a quick bit of research would get a name. I recommend Kenji Doihara.
    • There, I put General Ishiwara, though he devised the Manchuria scandal he was opposed to the way Japan was headed he believed in pan-Asianism in its true spirit.
  • Yugoslavia: The military stops just north of Athens claiming that that's all the land they want and asks for an military alliance with Germany.
    • German Diplomacy: Germany agrees, and Hitler comes to personally visit Josef Tito.
  • Siam: Military is built up. Prime Minister Phot Phahonyothin recognises the new government of Japan and asks them for an alliance.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The new regime accepts the alliance offer and offers them a trade agreement.
    • Siam Diplomacy: Prime Minister Phot Phahonyothin of Siam accepts the trade agreement offer from Japan.
  • India: Declares independence from Britain. Offers that if the British allow them to go peaceably, they will contribute no less than two million soldiers to any war the British wish to fight (which, note, is a figure lower than what India ACTUALLY sent to WW-II).
British india
  • Britain: We will support Greece. Turkey is warned that if they withdraw their troops from Persia, we will not attempt to take it over. We have no objections to your independence but you won't have the rest of the territories with you. An alliance is asked with FRANCE, Spain, USA, Colombia and Brazil.
    • Wait, you mean India gets independence (and no partisan, that wasn't necessary until the 1940s), right? We're not asking for Canada, etc. If India gets independence then the area called Pakistan definitely would because they were considered the same territory until the split in 1948 ... so that map isn't quite right guys. Also, Spain is in a civil war, which side do you back?
    • I thought Guns was in charge of Britain. Guns is a far better choice than sine.
      • I think the change of players was discussed because Sine was inactive. But perhaps we should put a vote to it. And it'd be helpful if we could sign our posts. ChrisL123 (talk)
    • OK ... so if I'm Britain, do I get to keep India? (because just saying OTL Indians weren't asking for independence in full yet, just Home Rule.
    • Yeah sure, limited home rule and rep. in parliament. Just let's vote on it first. IMPERIAL NY-SPQR 1Regen Flag Syngraféas Enallaktikí̱ Istoría, Dic mihi lingua Anglorum. 17:44, August 30, 2012 (UTC)
    • Might I say that the map was made not for Pakistan if not to say as the territories that if given independence would be under Indian dominion, I just kept Pakistan because I see that Turkey has some pretensions over Persia and so I wanted to keep a base in case of an assault against them, but I was planning that after the war they could be given full independence over the Indian territories including Pakistan under Indian Government right now Sine dei gloriem (talk) 00:37, August 31, 2012 (UTC)
    • German Diplomacy: Germany would like to buy Transjordan and asks whether the British could sell it to them as it would help the British (and later on German) economy.
    • Wait, don't interact with Britain until we're sure who's playing.
  • Cuba: Cuba expands its military as unrest occurs over a Communist protest in Havana.
    • The United States: deploys a few troops into Cuba to help put down any Communist rebellions.
  • Philippines: Asks the United States to let the Philippines become a commonwealth instead of the current territory status.
    • You can't say that, a territory is a full integral part of the USA and not playable nation, since states and territories are not playable not occupied. (E.G.: Alaska, Hawaii and the Philippines are unplayable, the three US territories.)
    • In 1935, the Philippines was granted Commonwealth status. That two days (one year) from now and if nothing major changes. Besides Korea is part of Japan and India is part of British Empire. So why can't I?
    • I don't want to insult you, but you are the most noobish player in this game yet. Those are conquered and occupied areas. They can revolt. A territory cannot revolt. Read the first turn for crying out loud. It's NOT A COMMONWEALTH YET. And it NEVER WILL BE. States cannot revolt, and they have their own governments. Why should territories be able to revolt? You're a territory and nothing more. Korea and India used to be countries, and the got conquered. Japan and Britain are empires. Do you know what America is? You probably live there. Can Puerto Rico revolt? No. Can Alaska revolt? Not. Can Hawaii revolt? No. A state or territory is part of the USA. In a few years the area will become a state. That did not happen in the Philippines. It's a territory. Read the Wikipedia page, damn it.
    • The United States of America (commonly called the United States, the U.S., the USA, America, and the States) is a federal constitutional republic consisting of fifty states and a federal district. I believe that answers your question on what I know about US. If states can't revolt what was the American Revolution or the Civil War for that matter? Did I just make just make those things up? No, I don't believe I did. Beside I'm asking before I just a revolt against the current Government and make a new one.
    • Who posted the noob comment? Any territory or state of America can revolt. No one can stop them if they want to. What do you think a civil war is?
  • Argentina: The newly created committee for a greater Argentina political party is created and gains much support in the poor quarter and from the military due to the promise of removing the poverty and increased the military budget. In their first legislative election, the party gain enough siege to become the official opposition.
    • You realize that Argentina was under a military regime since 1930 when they removed Hipolito Yrigoyen right? Most of the populace was pro-radicals in that period.
    • 'Ah, I had forgotten this and if I remember well, the population and the government were 'pro-German in general.
    • The government was pro-conservative - nearly Fascist. It was the military regime of 1943 that was pro-Axis. The people just wanted non-fraud democracy back.
  • Korea: Korean rebels flat out refuse the ceasefire, and continue harassing Japanese forces in the region. They have the support of 99% of the people, which helps them greatly.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The new Japanese government trying to stabilize the economy and its relations with the outside world while preparing for the inevitable war with China and the USSR, decides to maintain the option of diplomacy open continuously offering a ceasefire to discuss the peace full separation of Japan and Korea. To prove the goodwill, troops are ordered to only fight when attacked and even then use restraint and am to wound or incapacitate not kill, they have the former royal family of Korea ask them to cease fighting and enter negotiations (since the royal family had been converted to aristocracy of Japan), and they begin ending long help policies of suppression of Korean culture. Again a request for negotiations is made.
    • Korean Diplomacy: You do realize it's not that simple? You can't undo 30 years of abuse with a few words and paper. The Korean people aren't going to let us stop fighting. And there is really no chance of the royal family going over to the Japanese side, they assassinated their husband, father, son, for crying out loud. We're going to need some serious punishment to go down, some serious people get arrested and executed.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: (The former royal family is asking them to cease fire under threat of harm to themselves - read between the lines it's a forced request) The new regime promises that everything can be negotiated and certain demands made by the Korean people will be met but only after a ceasefire is accepted otherwise the Japanese imperial army will be forced to open use anti-guerrilla tactics which we might lose but it will do even more damage to Korea, and its people. General Ishiwara makes sure to underline the fact that Japanese military brutality is well known especially by the Korean people, cease fire will allow the new regime to finish restraining them but if the army is ordered to fight it will be out of government hands humiliating the Korean people even further then the past 30 years. The choice is negotiations and eventual peaceful separation or a disaster waiting to explode for both sides.
    • Heh. I suppose. I'll talk to my people about it :)
  • Spain: Thanks to Rodriguez's beefing up of the National Guard, the Spanish Civil War is quickly winding down. More and more focus is put on the military build-up and heavy industrialization in progress. We request to station troops in Germany to help with the Jewish problem.
    • German Response: Germany would like to see the conflict in Spain rattle down first, if ya don't mind...
  • Germany: Adolf Hitler rallies his nation with many speeches. In the Victory Column road, over 18 miles have been completed. The road is now a matter of national significance and unity in the nation, with the idea of: "We can be broken up but still become united". Germany's second economic heartland continues construction. However, this is manufacturing tanks and aircraft (Germany here will be stronger 'cause we are already rearming compared to OTL). Germany also pushes for a referendum in the Saarland. Many more miles of the autobahn are built. Car companies also get a much needed reboot as demand for cars increases for the first time since the depression. The companies also begin to manufacture top secret tanks and aircraft. The Dutch continue to be threatened, and seeing as how Germany still needs more men, open campaigning to join the army is begun. This includes building a world class navy again along with an air force no one can match up. However, all German designs are safe and secret and no one can get their hands on them. He continues to ask on buying Transjordan from Britain as the German economy takes a sharp upturn.

  • Korea: After much discussion, the Korean Liberation Army agrees to the ceasefire suggested by the Japanese. It is met with outrage by much of the people, but they are still happy to see the Japanese go. Kim Il-Sung, one of the leaders of the KLA takes leadership, and begins the process of systematically improving the Korean interior. They request the Japanese quickly get the hell out of their nation, or the consequences would be dire for both sides.
    • The United States strongly advises Korea to take a neutral stance between Japan and allies and the enemies of Japan lest it be dragged into a large war that could lead to devastation for the Koreans.
    • The Soviet Union asks Korea for a trade agreement and non-aggression pact.
    • Korea: agrees to the Soviet Union.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: As per negotiations a withdrawal from Korea begins and a few elder men who were once high level officials in Japan and took part in or headed the Japanese colonialism in Korea along with violent soldiers and administrators who were part of the current colonial administration are sent to Seoul. With that Japanese interests will be fully focused on China.
    • Korea: Korea thanks Japan and hints of a long relationship between the two nations. The men who are sent to Korea by the Japanese are executed in public by beheading, to much cheering from the civilians. The Korean government begins to improve its exterior, as well as its military.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union, seeing that its mission has been completed, SECRETLY tells Korea that it will halt weapon shipments in the beginning of January, but will continue to supply food, water, clothing, and medicine. The SUN Stalin and SUN Lenin are launched from Vladivostok. The two battleships are the first in the new line of Soviet engineering and military equipment. In western Europe, a non-aggression pact is proposed to Germany. The Soviet Union also SECRETLY sends Germany a proposal for a joint invasion of Poland. Construction of defenses along the Finnish-Russo border continue, and tells Finland that the defenses are for defensive purposes only.
    • German Response: The German government see that the Soviets have got the hint and SECRETLY begin negotiations.
    • Turkish Diplomacy: Turkey requests the aid of the Soviets in securing lands in Persia to protect our brothers of the faith from Britain. You shall be properly rewarded for your aid.
  • Venezuela continues to build up its military forces and it technological levels while developing its militaristic economy at the same time. The invasion is scheduled to be 1937, so things are very fast paced. They continue to expand the infrastructure, health, and education across the country while hiring more Americans to help with its program.
  • Siam: Military is built up and roads and railways begin to be built in the nation. Prime Minister Phot Phahonyothin welcomes newly independent India and asks them for a trade agreement. Later a few new bridge is planned out to reduce traffic problems when crossing bridges.
  • Japan: Japanese soldiers withdraw to the ports in the peninsula or north into Manchuria to prepare defense of the state. The Japanese offer the Korean rebels the following: they will hand over to the Koreans some of those responsible for the crimes committed in Korea, they will withdraw from Korea, allow Korean independence, but no more aggression to come any Japanese as the regular populace living in Korea shall be allowed to relocate to Manchuria or back to the homeland. The government continues improving the navy with two more aircraft carriers reaching the half way point. A new firearm based on the American Thompson is designed and will be tested to see if it is adopted. designing submarines continues but is slow since Japanese refused to adopt them earlier on. Plans to build new warships of a superior class begins to help maintain Japanese supremacy over the seas in the orient. Japanese agents begin acting in China causing disturbance and incidents framing either the nationalists or the Communists to increase the tensions between both factions. Manchuria is declared an independent State (under Japanese control as in our timeline) but more power is granted to Pu Yi and his ministry to give them more legitimacy and stability.
    • Korea accepts the Japanese offer, and request troops pull out as soon as possible.
  • Yugoslavia: Asks Germany to help in creating a new tank - the panzer 4.5.
    • German Response: The Germans offer to willingly help as long as the designs of the tank remain SECRET.
  • Argentina: The Argentinian dictator is assassinated and a new government who is virtually a dictatorship take power with a rigged election. The military budget is increased and many research to develop weapon is increased. A program to convince the population that the Argentinian are the stronger people in Latin America is started while all the industries are "temporarily" nationalised by the government the time that the economy recovers. A new scholar program is introduced to brainwash the next generation.
    • German Diplomacy: Hitler personally asks for an alliance with Argentina as he states "our two people's ideologies are very similar, and it would be best for both nations to co-operate and be allies."
    • Argentina Diplomacy: we are glad to accept the alliance and we offer you a trade deal to help you to put your nation on its feet.
  • France: The French officially declare war on the Yugoslavians and send troops to Greece. The French government pleads to have a larger international support to keep the independence of the Greeks (an innocent nation), and if the war continues, threatens that Yugoslavia may be dissolved.
  • Sweden: Work continues on the military, despite that future plans may lessen the threat of invasion. Prime Minister Per Albin Hansson accepts the German offer of economic and military alliance, and hopes the offer is still open. He is willing to sell iron ore, which will be useful for the Wehrmacht, but in return, the Swedish Prime Minister asks if the Jewish population be sent up to Sweden, where they will be taken care of. (SECRETLY, the plan is to save as many Jewish civilians as possible, similar to what Denmark did during OTL World War II). We also ask if any allies of Germany is willing to sell oil to Sweden. We also ask Norway, Denmark and Finland, if they wish to join an alliance with Germany, and be safe. (Can Mods do RNG for this? Would Norway, Denmark and Finland join Sweden with Germany?)
    • German Diplomacy: (TBH, there is quite an obvious reason why I want to buy Transjordan from Britain) Germany would gladly say the offer is still open. Germany would send synthetic oil to Sweden in return for iron ore. They are currently unsure about the iron ore.
    • We know. Jews. (and partially Muslims as well.)
    • Not for Muslims. It would be a great propaganda for Hitler about what happens in Transjordan when the Jews are transported there.
    • Swedish Diplomacy: We promise that the Iron Ore is the finest in Europe, and that they will help the Heer very well.
    • German Diplomacy: Germany is pleased and promises to send the best artificial rubber and oil in return.
  • Spain: The Civil War finally comes to an end. Spain sends troops to help defend Yugoslavia from French attack, but doesn't declare war on France. Spain also sends a threat to France: pull out of Yugoslavia, or face Spanish invasion. Emperor Rodriguez commissions new tank and aircraft designs for future conflicts. Now can we station troops in Germany to help with the Jewish problem?
    • Didn't the Spanish Civil War start in 1936?
    • This is an alternate timeline. Things don't strictly follow the OTL.
  • Turkey: Turkish forces refuse to stop their invasion, seeking to bring the Muslim world under the Turkish flag. The government states that it shall not bow to the demands of the British invaders and conquerors, and seeks to protect Islam from the British horde. The military undergoes rapid expansion, and requests for help are sent to the Russians, Germans, and French. Also, the Turks SECRETLY provide aid to Indian separatists with the hope of drawing British attention away from Persia. Defenses in Anatolia are built up to prepare the nation for a possible British invasion.
  • Germany: Adolf Hitler rallies his nation with many speeches. In the Victory Column road, over 40 miles have been completed, symbolizing the quickening of the economy. Cars are allowed on the road for the first time and all effort is put to finish the road quicker. In the "Night of the Long Knives", many of Hitler's enemies are killed, but the SA are spared (in OTL they were not) and through careful manipulation are merged into the SS. Germany's second economic heartland continues construction and around a third of the amount of factories compared to the Rhineland have been completed. Many more tanks and aircraft are manufactured. Hitler is also influenced by his cabinet to launch bigger destroyers. Hitler reluctantly agrees, and this help because it leads to unemployment rates to fall even faster. Germany also pushes for a referendum in the Saarland, and makes plans to move into the Rhineland. Many more miles of the autobahn are built. Car companies see a tremendous rise in sales as many people now buys more cars. The revenue from car companies helps to keep the economy growing and consumerism along with outgoing nightclubs make good money. Many "Aryan" women are put through exercises to increase fertility while Jews are rounded up and ready to be shipped soon. The army sees a boom in numbers and numbers surpass 1/4 million.
  • GREECE: accepts UK's alliance proposal as well as an apology for the late response Greece is going to be allowing the UK to have access to Greek resources.

  1. China's Kuomintang government surrenders northeastern China to the Japanese.
  2. Persia, which supports Turkey, asks for an alliance with it.
  3. Greece bravely fights for their independence against the Yugoslavs.
  4. The independence movement in India continues to gain more support.
    • Um - which area exactly are we talking about?
    • Well, now I believe I have solved that problem.
  • Korea: Korea continues to improve their interior, as well as the military. A new government is created, with Ministry of Defense, Ministry of the Interior, etc. They ask the Soviet Union for trade relations, as well as the United States. The Korean military also requests that Soviet personnel come in to train them, and asks for warplanes. Korean factories also begin to be built, and reconstruction continues. Vast amounts of minerals are detected in the northern part, and mining is planned for a few years.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: We agree to both requests.
    • Korean Diplomacy: We thank the Soviet government and begin training immediately.
  • Venezuela continues its program with the planned invasion two years away. More modern naval ships, tanks, modern guns, and airplanes have been added to the army. The American specialists have helped improve the governmental, economical, and social structure of the country. They continue to spread infrastructure, education, and health, building roads, schools, hospitals, sewer systems, and the like. They spread propaganda towards the people of that they must support the growing country in order to have its place in the sun.
  • Japan: The new regime under Ishiwara continues to pull the army into central control and keep them on a tight leash for better management. More funds go to industrial production and the creation of public transport, mainly rail lines. The latest aircraft carriers are nearly completed. designs on the new class of battleships continue, as do the plans to create a submarine force. Massive efforts are put to industrialize backward areas of Japan and Manchuria. The weapon design for a sub-machine gun based on the Thompson is approved and testing begins, plans to create new tank and rifle designs are also put forward. The integration of the air force and the imperial navy continues. Japanese agents continue causing problems in China and the military starts gearing up to intervene in the Chinese civil war to bring it back to stability (I'm not going to conquer China. I will take a few areas but it is logistically impossible for any nation to conquer China due to sheer numbers. only a massive alliance would be able to conquer the Han :( But hey, I can still make a series of puppet states). Japanese efforts to improve their image abroad continues and the nation will hold elections for the Diet in a year and a half. The Communist Party is barred from participation. The Japanese set up an embassy in Bangkok and start taking a slight economic interest in the Dutch East Indies. Japanese naval forces continue operations in the North Pacific to protect Japanese waters and territories. The training of the Japanese army is modified to train them in warfare based on modern tactics and realistic scenarios rather then on nationalistic ideals and symbolism.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union continues constructing defenses along the Finnish-Soviet border. Drilling for oil in the region of Stalingrad begins, and the mining of minerals begin in Siberia. Meanwhile, saboteurs begin to carry out operations in Latvia, Estonia, and cause chaos in the country. Pro-Soviet leaflets are dropped over the two countries, promoting that life under the Soviet Union would be much better than as an independent nation. The Soviet Air Force continues to construct aircraft, and teaching their pilots about flying low above the water to keep out of range of the guns of enemy warships. The Soviet Air Force also teaches its pilots about night and daytime bombing runs against industrial and civilian targets. The Soviet Navy begins to construct its first submarine, while research on anti-submarine methods continue. The Soviet Army begins to design a sub-machine gun similar to the MP-40, but to fit the style of Russian guns. The Soviet Department of Research and Development begins to design a new tank - the T-34, and construction begins on the Soviet Union's first aircraft carrier.
  • France: The attack on Yugoslavia continues, and the nation is urged to end its attack. As well, the government begins funding military expansion in greater amounts in order to better ensure the defeat of the Yugoslavs. The French are appalled at the German support, and warns that militarization at the Rhine may ensure war. As well, tensions rise in the Middle East as Mandatory Syria and Lebanon face rebellion for independence, and officials consider creating a Syrian Republic if the rebellions worsen.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese government requests that it be allowed to purchase economic privileges in French Indochina to help develop the region and to gain access to the areas resources to help Japanese industry. The deal would be to benefit both France and Japan with 60% of all earnings going to France. This would allow a lessening of economic burden to the French.
    • French Diplomacy: The French reluctantly agree to the purchase, and announce the money will be going towards the military. Many Frenchman return to mainland France.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: The Soviet Union asks to purchase the southern half of Sakhalin from the Japanese.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese Government refuses to sell even one part of Japanese territory.
  • Argentina: The military continues to grow and be upgraded with all the most advanced technologies available, a small navy also began to take be built with the quality advantaged over the number. Many projects to make the air force and military force in general stronger began. Germany and Venezuela are asked for support to develop better weapons. The new internal policy already began to bear fruit as the economies are recovering faster, thanks to the military production.
    • German Response: Argentina is given slightly older but still very useful tank designs and plans. Along with this, personnel arrive to train the Argentine army to German standards. Plans are also made to sign the Axis Pact (yes, secret).
  • Siam: Military continues being built up and roads and railways begin to be built in the nation. An embassy is set up in Tokyo. Meanwhile, few bridges begin construction.
  • UK: Seeing the rise of Germany, the UK leaders know that they cannot afford internal disputes, so at a conference, Gandhi, Nehru, Chamberlain, and the Viceroy of India, along with a few others, negotiate a Home Rule settlement (which is all that was wanted till WW-II, and even then just because they saw that the Brits weren't even going to grant them that). This essentially means that India has free will in internal affairs- they have their own police force, their own laws - but in external affairs, behave like a British colony. The German offer is refused. Meanwhile, George V (or is it IV?) falls extremely sick, after a minor heart attack. Prince Edward is readied for the throne... but there is a scandal here... Also, it is announced that there will NOT REPEAT NOT be an attack on Turkey. Danny Boy, this is Broadsword.... (who gets that reference?)
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Empire of Japan requests a rapprochement with the British. The main point behind this is to gain a solid non-aggression pact and possible alliance in the future with the British once the cards start coming into play, and to gain access to the resources in South East Asia not through gaining control over the region but through economic cooperation between the British and the Japanese.
    • Argentinian Diplomacy: Argentina ask Britain if we could buy the Falkland islands.
    • UK: Refuses, but agrees to a referendum (and since the majority of the population is British... This RNG should be some 1-7 no, 8-10 yes.)
    • I did the RNG (Pita) and it was 66 (out of 100) so no.
    • So they stay with us Brits? (the opposite is actually really implausible...)
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese government requests a response from the U.K.
    • UK Diplomacy: Yes to the Non-aggression, no to the alliance, and resource control will remain firmly British.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The government stated that it only wishes to move forward with friendly relations with the British, and requests that Japanese business men be allowed access to Malaysia and Hong Kong.
    • UK Diplomacy: Not Hong Kong. Malaysia.
    • German Diplomacy: The Germans ask desperately for Transjordan and state that they will now take the responsibility of sorting the area out (it was quite unstable at that time and remained so until 1948).
  • Brazil: An alliance is asked with the US, UK, Venezuela and Argentina, socialist parties are funded by Getulio Vargas and a Brazilian supremacy propaganda is spread throughout the nation.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: Japan accepts the British offer of Malaysia only.
    • Argentina Diplomacy: We gladly accept the alliance.
  • Sweden: Conscription and training for defence continues in Sweden, from all sides, in case a military partnership collapses, and any side, even Norwegian or Danish, attacks us. We have no problem with the Soviets building defense fortifications along the Finnish border, as long as they are for DEFENSE only. The military increases spending to 5% of the federal GDP. (In OTL [Swedish History Lesson, prepare to get schooled], Sweden was badly armed, and not ready for World War I or II, it is known that the country wouldn't have survived a German, Soviet or even British Invasion, hence why the Swedish used their iron ore to sell to Germany, to avoid invasion. They wouldn't increase spending until the Cold War, where they became a very powerful military for their size, in case they are ever invaded, and today, is considered one of the best military for the country's relatively low numbers, there was even a joke during World War II, that soldiers were more likely to bring their own hunting rifles, compared to outdated Mausers from the 1890's, that Ag m/42 were made on the spot to make better service rifles, which were discovered to have their own problems a decade later. Anyway, thanks for letting me share my knowledge of Sweden's military). The Nordic Battle Group is formed between Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. It is expected that the country will be fully prepared for an all-out war, in case another country, like Britain or France, attacks us. (I resign as Sweden, and will pick another country; anyone who wants an improved military, pick Sweden and you'll thank me.)
  • Germany: Adolf Hitler celebrates the completion of the Victory Column Road, 50 miles long, and gives a huge rallying speech. Germany's second economic heartland continues construction and around a half of the amount of factories compared to the Rhineland have been completed. Many more tanks and aircraft are manufactured. The first of Germany's battleships is launched. Germany also pushes for a referendum in the Saarland, and moves into the Rhineland and rightfully adds it back to their country. Many more miles of the autobahn are built. Car companies see a tremendous rise in sales as many people now buys more cars. The revenue from car companies helps to keep the economy growing and consumerism along with outgoing nightclubs make good money. A huge Aryan baby boom happens. The army sees a boom in numbers and numbers surpass 1/2 million. An alliance is also proposed to Hungary. All of the Rhineland's factories begin to reach full production again. Propaganda leaflets are dropped into Western Poland and Danzig along with the Sudetenland and Czech portion of Czechoslovakia which have traditionally been German.

  • Korea: Korea continues to improve their interior, as well as amp up their military. Trading is started with the Soviet Union, and with Japan in secret. Korea continues reconstruction, as well as building up their merchant navy. They hope to have a good economy by 1940. They also begin to build a public transportation system, comprised of buses at this point. They hope to have a train system set up by the end of two decades.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union finishes the construction of its defensive border along the Finnish-Soviet border. Drilling for oil in the Stalingrad region continues, and begins to produce its own oil, and no longer relying on other sources. Saboteurs continue operations in Latvia and Estonia, and delivering of the Pro-Soviet Leaflets over the two nations continue. The Soviet Union continues to construct aircraft for its Air Force, and teaching the pilots about flying low over the water and daylight and night time bombing operations against Civilian and Industrial targets. The Soviet Navy launches its first submarine in the Baltic Sea, and research on anti-submarine methods continue. The development of the T-34 Heavy tank and the sub-machine gun similar to the MP40 continues. Construction on the first Soviet carrier continues, and the two battleships are greeted by a third battleship, the Leningrad.
  • Argentina: The military buildup continues and the military engineers are ordered to develop a new generation of planes and naval vessels. Germany is tell in SECRET that we are not ready to sign the pact but that we may join in time of opportunity. The assimilation of the population to the Fascist ideology began to show some success and the government invited Venezuela and Brazil to a secret meeting to discuss the division of South America, a German given tank begun to be dismounted to gain access to some technology.
  • Venezuela continues to make military preparations. They begin building defenses at the Colombian border. Meanwhile, the country continues to spread and support the growth of infrastructure, industry, health, education, and propaganda. They continue to hire numerous experts from the United States in order to help aid the growth and modernization of the economy, military, and the government. New social reforms break the discriminatory barrier between genders and ethnicities. They ask Brazil for an alliance and trade agreements.
  • Japan: The Japanese continue their modernization and advancement of the armed forces and the Arisaka 35 is designed (same thing as OTL Arisaka type 99 rifle) and it is approved for production and distribution. Japanese influence over the civil war in China continues to grow as more incidents occur throughout southern China being blamed on one side or another, creating further tensions in Cjoma. Divisions are moved to Manchuria and to Taiwan to eventually launch a two pronged strike on China to "restore order and peace to the Han nation". The industrial complex continues to grow and now with more resources coming into the nation thanks to Japanese economic influence in Indochina the economy begins growing more. Japanese businesses open in several areas of the French colony to export the abundance of natural resources there and the Japanese try to make good relations with the locals. Railways continue to be built throughout the empire and the State of Manchuria to improve transportation and the future movement of troops as well. New tanks based on more modern designs are made being slightly inferior to Soviet and German tanks but far more mobile and far better then anything the Chinese can produce. The navy continues expansion and three more aircraft carriers are put forward for construction while the new battleships are finally designed and put forward for construction (based on the OTL Yamato class). Designing of submarines continues. The economy is slowly being pushed into a war economy to prepare for the war in China.
    • Just letting you know, battleships went obsolete soon after World War II.
    • They didn't become obsolete. They were just replaced by the aircraft carrier as a major part of a fleet. Battleships continued to operate in 1991, and provided fire support and cruise missiles since the end of World War II. Enclavehunter (talk) 01:46, September 3, 2012 (UTC)
    • Battleships simply were replaced by more modern warships, but battleships still were a major factor in the Pacific war next to the plane and the submarine. Nkbeeching
    • With the rise of air power, guided missiles, and guided bombs, large guns were no longer deemed necessary to establish naval superiority and as a result battleships faded from use. (Quote from Wikipedia)
    • After World War II, several navies retained their existing battleships, but they were no longer strategically dominant military assets. Indeed, it soon became apparent that they were no longer worth the considerable cost of construction and maintenance and only one new battleship was commissioned after the war, HMS Vanguard. (Quote from Wikipedia)
    • I'll simply decommission then at a later time and eventually replace them but for the moment battleships are important especially since I will remain close to the coast as much as possible.
  • Hungary: The Treaty of Trianon had left Hungary in a very painful position, having lost much of its land and population, and having lost access to the sea. Romania, Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia had fed off the corpse of the Hungarians' loss. It was embarrassing, and brought Hungary's power to a screeching halt. The Treaty forced the Kingdom to limit its armed forces to 35,000, forbade conscription, tanks and an air force. Britain, France, Italy, Romania and all the other countries repeatedly kicked this country around over and over again. Miklós Horthy, Regent of Hungary, heard all the demands of an angry and dying country. Romania has repeatedly threatened the Hungarians far too many times, now it is the time when the Dog of the Magyars bite back. Horthy puts funding into civilian air flying clubs, who have been flying privately owned planes, and is willing a good salary (by 1930's Hungarian standards) for those who bring their clubs together to form the Magyar Királyi Honvéd Légierő (Royal Hungarian Air Force), where factories are SECRETLY built in Central Hungary. In order to accomplish the building of the Air Force, we ask Germany, if we can buy 20 Heinkel He-45 light bombers, along with blueprints (which will be kept secret, so that no one may grab the blueprints) to build a domestic model. We will also order ten Dornier Do-11 medium bombers from Germany, along with 50 Heinkel He-51 biplane fighters. There are plans in development to build a domestic model for heavy/night fighters, medium bombers and heavy bombers, which will be funded by aviation companies that will be set up by the Crown, with plans to have an Air Force fleet of 100 by 1937, and if things go to plan, a fleet of 500 by 1940. Also, the Regent plans to bring Conscription into work, with promises of jobs for women, while men will do their work for the military, regardless of what the oppressors think, though, this is kept a low-key as possible, in order to avoid alerting the enemies.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. Plans for a tall building, to be called Khāsāmi (คาซามิ) Tower for now, (OTL China Resources Tower), is under way and is planned to be built next year.
  • UK: Refuses Germany's offer. A battle cruiser, the HMS Sirrus (#alistairmaclean) is produced, along with the HMS Majestic. In preparation for possible war, the air fleets of Britain are replaced with new Spitfires, Mossies, Hurricanes, and more modern planes. Chamberlain has a vote of no confidence, and is replaced by Churchill as PM, Anthony Eden as Minister of War, and Lord Halifax as Home Minister.
    • Why would Chamberlain have a vote of no confidence when he was very popular pre-war up til 1938?
  • Bulgaria: A new Nationalist party has been gaining clout in Bulgaria called the Bulgarian National Front, it garners popularity due to its leaders charisma and populist policies as well as its new campaign techniques that seem alien to the other parties, King Boris III has been keeping an eye on these Nationalists who have already brought parliament back to power and who seem ready to seize power in Parliament and take power from him. The next elections in 1936 could produce interesting results. Under strain from the Nationalists, the Prime Minister asks Turkey for a Non-Aggression Pact and also asks Germany for a Trade Agreement that would allow greater investment in the Bulgarian Economy and therefore would also pave the way for other political initiatives with Germany. The Current Parliament is heavily divided on economic policy and so the action needed to drive Bulgaria forwards falters and no economic progress is made. Education proves to be better than ever and outmatches a lot of places in Europe and is considered the best in the Balkans except for Yugoslavia which it is considered to be roughly equal with. The educated Bulgarians produce a lot of people with more liberal and Communist ideals however which causes internal problems. Trade is considered a large problem and the state is under great strain to produce a proper trade policy.
  • Italy: Italy begins a massive army, naval, marine, and air force buildup while industrialization and modernization begins in both Italy and Libya. Construction of infrastructures begin as well in Libya and Italy.
    • Guys? Is this.. plausible?
    • I fixed it
    • German Diplomacy: Germany asks for better relations between our two great Fascist nations and increased trading.
    • Argentina D: Italy is ask for a trade pact.
    • National Socialism isn't Fascism, it was one of histories greatest mistakes caused by various social factors, Fascism was a social experiment that had some potential, but the two ideologies were fairly different in many ways, Nazism was a superstitial cliche and his book my struggle is bull. Pardon my aggressiveness. Nkbeeching
  • France: Troops continue to help the Greeks in repelling the attacks, and deny any requests to stop. The Yugoslavs are once again warned that if lost, France will ensure their dissolution into smaller states and the possibility of a Serbian protectorate. (Just a note, it'd be great if an algorithm could be started on this). As well, naval efforts are funded greatly from the profits of Indochina, and hope to better attack the Yugoslav coast. As well, the French propose to create a referendum to the Syria, to either become a republic or to remain a protectorate by the next year.
    • Bulgarian Diplomacy: Bulgarian politicians manage to persuade the King to allow them to pursue diplomatic ties with France. They SECRETLY offer to help France and Greece against Yugoslavia utilising their current position to open the Serbian homeland up for attack, they will accomplish this through allowing French troops as well as vehicles and aircraft to move through their land and their troops which have superior training compared to their Yugoslav counterparts. In return Bulgaria asks for the return of occupied Bulgarian land claims under Yugoslav control and for Frances support in lifting the military restrictions on Bulgaria.
  • Spain: Emperor Rodriguez identifies Portugal as the first target for invasion, but keeps these plans SECRET. Spain continue assisting Yugoslavia in their struggle against France, delivering supplies and ammunition, but Rodriguez still refuses to declare war on France, out of fear of invasion. Heavy industrial and military build-up continues, and Spanish troops go on stand-by in the event of war.
    • German Response: Germany, seeing how Spain has finally stabilized, allows Spaniard troops to enter Germany. However, these troops will also be secretly trained to be better and equal German standards in an event of a war.
  • Turkey: The war in Persia goes well with the capture of several cities in the nation. The development of military continues with the reorganization of the navy, and several new railroads and buildings are constructed. The capital of Ankara is heavily modernized with the laying down of a city grid on the outskirts of the capital.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: The Soviet Union SECRETLY supports Turkey against Persia.
  • The New Deal keeps progressing faster and faster. FDR manages to get 15 Justices in the Supreme Court as he wanted OTL. The SSA is signed into law. Parking meters built in OKC. The game Monopoly is introduced. The NLRA also becomes law. Hoover Dam finished. Elvis and Jess Presley are born. (Not important, I know, but I just want to see both of them alive.) President Roosevelt begins campaigning for re election.
  • I want everyone to remember that the 1936 Games open next year in Berlin and Garmitsch-Parkinterschen. Imp, better mention 'em. Also, I'd like to appoint myself Mod of Olympics (Führer der Olympics?) if everyone agrees.
    • Go for it- Pita
  • Germany: Germany's second economic heartland continues construction and a large amount of factories compared to the Rhineland have been completed. Many more tanks and aircraft are manufactured, with M-109s and M-110s also becoming widely manufactured. The huge German air force is revealed to the world this year, and it is the largest in the world. The second German battleship is launched. Germany re-occupies the Saarland after the voting received them well. Many more miles of the autobahn are built. Car companies see a tremendous rise in sales as many people now buys more cars. The revenue from car companies helps to keep the economy growing and consumerism along with outgoing nightclubs make good money. A huge Aryan baby boom continues. The army sees a boom in numbers and numbers surpass 3/4 million. An alliance with Hungary is established. All of the Rhineland's factories begin to reach full production again. Propaganda leaflets are continuously dropped into Western Poland and Danzig along with the Sudetenland and Czech portion of Czechoslovakia which have traditionally been German. Germany tries to force the Czechs to let the Sudetenland population decide their government and give them autonomy.

  • Korea: Korea continues to improve their infrastructure as well as their military. Hospitals, schools, etc are built all over the nation. They also express their interest in any future Olympic games.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction and Khāsāmi (คาซามิ) Tower begins construction too. Harbours are improved.
    • Korean Diplomacy: Korea offers a free-trade deal with Siam as well as a military and economic alliance.
    • Siam Diplomacy: Prime Minister Phot Phahonyothin accepts Korea's offer of a free-trade deal, and military-economic alliance.
  • Argentina: The military build up continue in all branches and a mandatory draft is created to create a powerful army. Many social reforms began to be passed to increase the education level and the health care service. The dictator announce in a speech that the Falkland islands will be one day annexed in Greater Argentina.
    • UK D: Laughs and informs Argentina that they are over matched. Half the British army is larger than yours. And yours are equipped with weaponry nowhere close as advanced as ours, because due to your pro-Hitler policies neither America, Britain or France will trade with you arms, and Germany wasn't as advanced in weaponry yet. That wasn't till the late 1930s, like 39, 40.
    • Argentina response: we will bid our time and one day, even if it is in three decades, it will happen,(dictator speech ;))
    • UK: We would like top inform you of what would happen in a Falklands war. Our historians and generals have devised such a scenario.
  • Brazil: Getulio Vargas continues the setting of the Syndicates, while this occurs, Venezuela's alliances, and he sees a Greater nation, a greater Brazil, initiates Building and updating the Military, it also SECRETLY asks Argentina to discuss a joint invasion of Paraguay and Uruguay. The border with Peru is fortified as preparation for war,
    • Argentina secret D: we accept the invitation.
    • UK: Secretly offers help in taking over ALL South America (except the Falklands).
    • Brazil: We agree, if the Argentinians do it as well we would gladly accept your help.
  • Spain: More and more Spanish soldiers are sent to Germany. Meanwhile, domestic production shifts into overdrive, as Emperor Rodriguez orders more and more goods be sold to Germany. Spain sends over 200 athletes to Berlin to compete in the 1936 Olympic Games. The Spanish Armada begins patrolling the coast of Portugal, looking for gaps in defense in anticipation of the future invasion. Only Spain and Germany know of the invasion plans, and keep the plans top-secret from every other nation.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union continues to drill for oil in the Stalingrad region, and SECRET plans to launch an invasion of Finland begin. The Soviet Air Force continues to manufacture aircraft and bombers, as well as bombs to fit them in. The Soviet Army finishes its designs of the MP40 style gun, and calls it the SA (Soviet Arms) - 1 sub-machine gun. The T-34 is also finished, and manufacturing of the new tanks begin. The Soviet Navy is half-way finish with its new carrier, and construction seashore defenses along the eastern coast of Russia - particularly around Vladivostok - continues. The Soviet Union continues to send saboteurs into Latvia and Estonia, and spreading of pro-Soviet leaflets continues. Plans to invade the two Baltic nations begin in SECRET, and SECRET military support is sent to Turkey against Persia. Athletes are sent to Berlin for the 1936 Olympics.
  • World Event: The 1936 Summer Olympics open in Berlin, Germany, and the 1936 Winter Olympics open in Garmitsch-Parkinterschen. Both involve massive displays of Aryan Wehrmacht members and Aryan athletes goose stepping in the opening ceremonies. Despite Hitleric efforts, several blacks, handicapped and JEWS win medals. One of them is a handicapped black Jew. Take that, yon Führer!
    • Nein, Niemals!!
  • Venezuela becomes increasingly more Fascist and decides to align itself with more Fascist countries. It asks Germany and Spain for an alliance and trade agreements. The country continues to make invasion preparations, constructing defenses, training the military, and spreading propaganda. The oil reserves help fuel the country's economy and the funds are used to help expand the economy to make war materials and civilian goods as well as expand and upgrade the military. The country begins building a large, modern navy as well as an air force to catch up with the other Western countries as they have had them.
    • German Response: Venezuela's alliance offer is accepted and the German Führer personally thanks the government for supporting the Fascist cause.
  • Hungary: Plans are finished for a heavy fighter plane design, called the M-36 Vihar, which can travel long distances, and in all types of weather, rain or snow, and the first batch of 30 are expected to be ready by the end of the year. Impressed with the tanks of the Wehrmacht and the Soviet Army, the Royal Hungarian Army are developing a new type of tank, developed by bus developer, Ikarus, which begins work on military vehicles, including the (Páncélozott Autó- Armoured Car) Ikarus PA-36 armoured vehicle that has amphibious properties, and can be driven in heavy snow and other cold weather, with a massive order of 500 planned. The (Magyar Tartály- Hungarian Tank) Ikarus MT-37 is planned to be produced, starting next year, with 200 medium tanks to be produced. We wish to buy as many spare Panzer I tanks that are available from Germany, along with a pre-order on about 100. The Royal Hungarian Army already has over 200,000 men recruited for warfare, many eager to get revenge, especially as nationalism reaches an all time high. Prime Minister Gyula Gömbös, is making Hungary into a Fascist state, against King Horothy's wishes. However, considering the future potential of a powerful Hungary, unlike OTL, he allows the Prime Minister to do what he wishes, not aware that the Prime Minister may be dying from cancer soon.
  • Bulgaria: The elections of 1936 end with the Bulgarian Nationalist Front and the Bulgarian Communist Party winning the most seats. This new found political power is used by the Bulgarian National Front in an alliance with the Popular Bloc to pressure the king to give the power to rule back to Parliament and is promised that this would not mean he would lose power but he would become more like a President than simply controlling the Prime Minister, they also promise to get rid of the anti-monarchist factions. At first Boris III refuses and resists the pressure however caves in after a few months due to nationalist shows of power (such as parades, rallies and the like) where the leader, Alexander Daskalov, proclaims that the King was considering giving the Bulgarian Nationalist Party the chance to obtain the position of Prime Minister, politically trapping the King and forcing his hand. Daskalov sets out the economic policy, setting up a Corporatist like system of operation, business owners benefit from his pro-Corporation policies and mining increases and the chance for heavy industry opens up as well as reinforcing current industry. The Government also sets up a work scheme to build huge roads around the country, while not as ambitious as German road building efforts they would give the country a faster method of transporting goods. Along with this Daskalov creates a register for people to sign-up for military service, he aims to have 500,000 signatories as soon as possible. Meanwhile he changes the education policy, forcing a more nationalist view to be taught in schools and also sets out contracts for new military aircraft to replace the currently outdated ones. The Army moves to the border with Yugoslavia.
    • 500,000? I don't know the figures, but is that possible?
    • Well, in WW-I they raised an army of one million. So, yeah?
  • Yugoslavia: Asks Germany to enter the Yugoslavian-Greek war on the side of Yugoslavia meanwhile the panzer 4.5 is done testing and the first prototypes are being sent to the front.
    • 'German Response: Advises the Yugoslavians to pull out as a war in Greece is fruitless (what he is secretly telling is that there will be another chance).
  • UK: King George V dies of a stroke, leaving Edward as king. However, as Edward has already married a non Britisher, he cannot become king. After a skillful piece of political maneuvering, the Duke of York (Edward's brother) is proclaimed King George VI. Edward is sent off to Sweden. Meanwhile, plans are stolen for Germany's top fighter plane, and it is put into production. Air squadrons continue to be replaced. The Home Fleet begins patrols of the English Channel. With India appeased, concentration shifts to the African colonies. Of these, those in the Center of Africa alone are freed. In South Africa segregation is eliminated, though to some dissent. In India, Nehru is named Viceroy. Gandhi, meanwhile, had gone to South Africa to eliminate segregation, and was the reason it was lifted.
    • Bulgarian Diplomacy: Bulgaria asks the UK for assistance with its need for new aircraft, whether this is in the form of a design team to help create planes designed specifically for Bulgaria or whether this is through a production license on British planes is up to the UK. They also ask that the UK consider protecting their old ally of Greece from Yugoslav invasion.
    • UK: We have sent 10,000 troops to Greece. We agree to send designs to the Spitfire Mk I and II as well as the Hurricane Mk I. This is in exchange for an alliance.
    • Bulgarian Diplomacy: Bulgaria thanks the UK for its support both in Greece and for its assistance in building the Bulgarian military, they gladly join in an alliance.
    • Implausible, how can you gain access to our tech if we are secretly developing them with heavy protection? Plus, we would take this as an act of violence against Germany.
    • Besides, Britain's planes were far, far more advanced than the Germans. -Pita
  • Iran (Persia): Reza Shah begins to rally the people of Persia, calling out a total defense of the sacred Persian Lands, which Turkey has defiled by their greedy ambitions, to control the Muslim World throughout violent and unneeded ways. Militias are raised in major cities and are quickly organized for counter-attacks, Persian Armored Vehicles prepare to launch various "stab" counter-offensives. Reza Shah calls for the international world to intervene in the unjustified Turkish Invasion.
    • Brazil: we offer help in fighting back the Turkish Invasion.
  • Turkey: The Turkish Air Force is ordered to begin to bombing the Persian armored formations, exploiting their near complete control of the skies. The Turkish grounds forces in the Persian Caucaus are ordered to begin moving on the towns, and given orders to pound the cities with the heavy artillery to weaken any partisan forces they may encounter. The secret aid provided by the Soviets is critical to the Turkish war effort, and the speed in which Turkish men sign up for military for the jihad of unification is even more important, as the Turks are able to maintain their presence in Persia. An additional 175,000 men are sent into Persia to reinforce the men there, and several thousands of tanks fresh from the factories of Ankara and Istanbul make their debut on the battlefield.
  • Romania: Builds up military. Asks for Alliance with Germany. Wishes to be coloured its own colour on the map. Builds up naval vessels and begins making armoured divisions.
  • Greece proposes an alliance with Romania and Germany as to trade and evolve its military structure into a variable in the war their leader gives a political and informative speech to convince the country.
  • Greece: becomes a neutral country and is open to all negotiations and has revoked its alliance proposal
  • Romania: Accepts Greece's alliance request. Romania sends soldiers into Yugoslavia, because Greece is at war.
  • Greece: fortifies its defences and sends a small to medium fighting force to combat Yugoslavia's invading forces. Greece also thanks Romania for the alliance and relies on them to defend the country
  • Romania: Asks for a military alliance with Bulgaria to help fight of the Yugoslavians. This will bring all three countries of Romania, Greece and Bulgaria closer in relation. Do you accept this proposal?

  • Korea: Korea continues to amp up their military, as well as improve their interior and relations with other nations. Their merchant fleet continues to be expanded, and heavy trading with Siam occurs. The Korean economy jumps very drastically.
  • Romania: Dramatically increases military and invades Yugoslavia with almost all of the Romanian army. Romania is still waiting for a response from Bulgaria and Germany. Romania begins researching military tactics.
    • Bulgarian Diplomacy: Bulgaria accepts the alliance offer and agrees to declare war on Yugoslavia, sending mainly their advanced air force to take out the weaker Yugoslav fighters and bombers and armoured units.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges and Khāsāmi (คาซามิ) Tower continue construction. The Thai Rung automobile manufacture is founded.
  • Japan: (Sorry - I was without internet for a few days. There was an accident with the company that provides it. The whole city was without. Trade begins in earnest with Siam and Korea. The government reforms occur and Elections are held. A liberal-industrialist majority is formed and they allow the current plans put forward by the military to go forward. The military now under tighter control begins skirmishing the Chinese across the Manchurian border. The Arisawa T99 (type 99 in real life one of the few good weapons produced by the Japanese in WW-II) is put into production and distribution as well along with the Ariska 35 (based on the Thompson gun). Looking for a casus bellus the military executes several pro-Communist Japanese and drops their bodies in Shanghai using agents active in China leave evidence that it was the work of Chinese nationalists. The Japanese public becomes informed a few weeks later with the information of them being Communists left out, while expressing the blatant brutality that Chinese have towards Japanese, there is a nationwide outcry and the Japanese government demands that the culprits be handed over within the next six months or Japan will become involved in the Chinese civil war to help restore order and stability to the region. Infrastructure continues expansion. The Yamato class battleship begins undergoing construction and will be completed by late 1938. Plans are made to turn Formosa in a prefecture of Japan and make the colony a part of the homeland due to a rising economic importance of the island and its growing Japanese population.
  • Italy: construction of industry, roads, railways, and military bases continues throughout Libya and the Italian heartland. The navy is upgraded to modern technology while a new ship is designed called the Airtank Carrier, the ship has watertight compartments to help keep the ship from sinking and has huge elevators to dump cargo overboard in case of emergency. It is designed to carry 15 fighters and 13 bombers as well as 45 of the latest tanks and 250 infantry. There are five decks, each one is watertight when sealed while the top deck can also be sealed in case of storms. The exterior of the ship is three hulls made of the strongest steel in Italy. Artillery are built into the sides of the ship and stored on the second deck so they can rise to the top deck in case the ship is under attack. The first Airtank Carrier is launched, and it is named the IES Mussolini.
  • Iran: Iran calls out for international intervention in the Turkish invasion of Iran, calling it unfair and unjustified. The Persian leader once more rallies his forces, and with the advise of his military generals, gathers Persian forces in the south, and begin counterattacking to retake Persian Territory, while northern forces take defense in mountainous areas, engaging the more organized Turkish forces with frequent ambushes, engaging in guerrilla warfare.
    • Bulgarian Diplomacy: Bulgaria declares support for Iran and asks for support from its allies against Turkey on the international stage, they offer an alliance with Iran and send it grains in its trade vessels to help feed the Iranian people.
    • Brazil: We will help in any means we can to defend the eternal Persia and we would like to apply into the alliance with Bulgaria, Romania and Greece.
    • Persian D: Thanks Bulgarian support, accepting its alliance and thankful for the grain. It also thanks Brazilian support.
    • Bulgarian Diplomacy: Bulgaria accepts the alliance offer from Brazil.
  • Turkey: The Turkish military forces are ordered to begin their push to Tehran, while the relieved force is told to hold their positions and mop up any remaining Persian forces in the mountainous regions. The air force is critical to the effort of destroying Persian armored forces, and permit safe passage for the Turkish forces and their own tanks. The government approves a number of economic projects in Turkey, and seeks to improve a number of vital roads in the country. Additionally, Italian aid to the conflict has been used to push deeper into Persian territory
  • NO. Even with Italian help, this doesn't work. The Persians are stronger than you in EVERY way. They just underwent militarization and industrialization since 1925 under their Shah. They have a population around 5-10 million higher. You, meanwhile, have not undergone any such industrialization or militarization efforts - maybe for the the last two years, but before that? Why am I not surprised, Viva?
  • Persia wasn't an industrialized nation before 1927, when the last dynasty of Shahs was established. The Turks had an industrialized nation since before the turn of the century. And more so is the fact that Turkey had two and a half million more people than Persia beforehand, and the Persian military non-existent up until the 1930s. Please do your research before saying this. From Wikipedia: "When the Pahlavi dynasty came through power the Qajar dynasty was already weak from years of war with Russia. The standing Persian army was almost non-existent." In comparison to the Turkish military: "In 1938, the Turkish Army at peacetime strength consisted of 174,000 soldiers and 20,000 officers forming 11 army corps, 23 divisions, one armoured brigade, three cavalry brigades and seven frontier commands."
  • Let's see how the algorithm plays out. Enclavehunter (talk) 21:50, September 6, 2012 (UTC)
  • Well, the Turkish might have had more power but with its dissolution in 1920 you fell right back in the same status to them so I don't think Turkey could invade them
  • Turkey got its independence in 1922, five years before Persia. Turkey was industrialized, Persia was not. Turkey had a larger population and better trained military. They fought two superpowers and a regional power (Britain, France, and Greece), after 1920 and won. Persia did the same in during WW-II (against Britain and the USSR), during its so-called "prosperous era", and lost. Your point about Turkey after 1920 has been beaten already, and has little bearing on the fact that 16 years have past since the Ottoman defeat. Ataturk did a better job modernizing Turkey than the Shah of Iran, and the fact that I've expanded Turkey's military in two years does nothing to the fact that even in OTL, Turkey was stronger than Persia. It always was and always will be. It had more soldiers OTL and ATL, and was already industrialized during WW-I, while Persia was not. That is a common fact. So yes, Turkey was stronger the Persia.
  • WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! Wikipedia actually says that the Persian Qajar dynasty was overthrown in 1925, with replacement by Reza Shah the same bloody year. AND they were WORKING FLAT OUT FROM 1925 TO 1941 TO INDUSTRIALIZE. I wouldn't normally be pissed about this kind of thing, but ALL of your facts are incorrect. Because A) your puny army of 175,000 was Dwarfed by the UK army of 9 million, the French army of 4 million, and others of this sort. Basically? Bye bye. And B) there were no actual British or French troops involved, far as I can see. And Turkey may be slightly more powerful than Greece, but Persia is a WHOLE other story.
  • I'm not talking about the Greco-Turkish War, I'm talking about the Turkish War of Independence. And there was this wonderful man by the name of Ataturk who spent his entire administration modernizing Turkey. Persia still had a small population, smaller industrial base, and smaller army. Persia had 40,000 troops at the beginning of WW-II. Turkey had 137,000. The British army was spread across the globe, and by the time of Indian independence, only had 200,000 troops in India. Most of the British and French armies were bolstered by groups such as the Indians, Nepali, Senegalese, and Algerians, not by the British or French themselves. And the Soviets and Italians are on my side. The Soviets had an army that dwarfed the British and French armies combined, and the Italians still had a large enough army to face down the French (who oddly enough with all of their soldiers still lost to the numerically smaller German forces). And from Wikipedia: "By mid-1939 the Army consisted of 230,000 Regulars and 453,000 Territorials and Reservists." By the end of 1938, the British army was only a million strong. I don't know where you got nine million from. And surprise fact about Turkey. It was ALREADY INDUSTRIALIZED. So Persia working to industrialize, could not be more power than Turkey which was already industrialized.
  • UK: Condemns Turkish actions. The Air fleets replacement is done, but a new version of the Spitfire, Swordfish, and Hurricane (Mk. IV, Mk. VI and Mk. V, respectively.) is put into action.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union continues to do well economically, with the producing of wheat and the drilling for oil and the mining for minerals does good for the Soviet Union. Meanwhile, the government begins to improve the infrastructure. Meanwhile, pro-Soviet sympathizers in Latvia and Estonia continue to gain supporters. The T-34 does well, and design of a faster and lighter Soviet tank begins. Meanwhile, the first Soviet Aircraft Carrier is launched, and two new submarines are launched in the Pacific and the Arctic Ocean.
  • Italian diplomacy: Italy declares war on Iran and sends 55,000 troops to Turkey to assist in the war while an Italian convoy of five battleships, seven cruisers, nine destroyers, six submarines, and 16,000 marines are sent blockade Iran, three aircraft carriers are sent as well as four fully loaded Airtank Carriers, which amounts to 90 planes, 135 tanks, and 1,000 troops in total on the Airtank carriers alone.
    • I'm fairly certain Italy didn't have carriers back in the 30s.
    • They did. In fact, the Japanese had the first ones such as the IJS Hosho which was completed in 1922. ~Viva
      • Bleh. I thought you meant carriers in general. ~Viva
    • Bulgaria: Declares war on Yugoslavia and becomes the leading airpower in the war in the east using its greater technology to outmatch the Yugoslav air force and its CAS fighters to attack the armoured regiments clearing the way for Romanian troops to move forwards. Political support for Daskalov and Boris III increases. However, Daskalov begins to consolidate his power and starts to look at ridding Bulgaria of internal enemies as well as external. Exploitation of copper and zinc is subsidized as the war starts, hoping to home produce shells for the Bulgarian army. However, farming subsidies are also given out to produce greater crop harvests; these crops will be used to fuel the Bulgarian war machine as plans are made to draft troops into the armed forces. Meanwhile, industry grows all around Bulgaria with farming, mining and textile manufacture being on the top of productivity increases, Armament industries spring up and begin trying to supply the Bulgarian armed forces to reduce import costs. All these economic changes put a strain on the economy and taxes have to be raised to the dislike of many Bulgarians. However, the increase in standards of living keep most quiet.
  • Romania: Quickly invading Yugoslavia from the East with newly developed Armoured divisions. The Romanian army is backed up by both Bulgaria and Greece. Yugoslavia isn't strong enough to fight off all three nations.
  • Netherlands: Asks Britain for an alliance and begins to build up defenses as a protective measure. Alliance offers are also sent to the U.S and the U.S.S.R. The military begins rapid expansion. The Military asks Britain for military developmental aid.
    • UK: Agrees to the Alliance and sends the designs for the Hurricane Mk. IV and the Lancaster Mk. II to seal the deal.
  • Argentina: Many defenses are built across the Chilean border and naval defenses are built across the southern coast. The air force also began to be increased while a new aircraft began to be researched. Brazil and Venezuela are asking for a joint project which would benefit all of us. The military forces continue to grow and are put at the border with Chile and the northern frontiers. The industry began to be developed further.
  • Venezuela knows that war is in 1937 and makes final preparations. They move their newly-trained army towards the border. They ask Argentina for military support in the war, in exchange for the same thing to its ally. They spread pan-Colombian propaganda across the country, trying to gain the support to re-establish the former country. They continue on with their programs. To encourage liberalization, they encourage women to achieve freer lives.
    • Argentina D: We agree to the deal and propose to create a pact (like the Axis) between Venezuela, Brazil and Argentina to accomplish our goals and discourage foreign intervention.
  • Hungary: In order to protect Yugoslavia, Hungary declares war on Romania and Bulgaria, and though early in development of weaponry, sends 100,000 soldiers of the Royal Hungarian Army to defend the Yugoslavs from Romanian and Bulgarian attacks. Continues development of the Air Force and Army. At least 15 of the first built M-36 Vihar fighter planes are sent to protect Yugoslav cities from Romanian and Bulgarian bombers. We hope that Germany assists its new closest friend, and in return, is promised 50% of oil from a target that is yet to be revealed publically. With onset of war, the weapon industry rapidly grows, bringing a rapid growth into the economy, with thousands of jobs being created, putting once unused factories left rusting since the Great War, back into operation. Conscription permits all healthy males (and encourages) to join the Army, with flight schools opening in Budapest and other cities, where the Royal Hungarian Air Force is expected to grow to a thousand potential pilots within two years. Production on the Ikarus MT-37 medium tank and Ikarus PA-36 APV is tripled, with the influx of the available materials from Germany. The Army grows to 300,000 active (a third of which are being sent to Yugoslavia), and at least 500,000 reserves. All males not qualified for military action are given an alternate role to produce weapons at factories with Army-level pay. Women are also permitted to have jobs outside the house, working high-paying jobs for the first time, though a number are allowed to work at munition factories. The FÉG 35M rifle is developed and given to soldiers. A figure of a million FÉG 35M's are produced, for future recruits when boys reach the age of 16. (In case someone disagrees with the size of the Army, I'm pretty sure many Hungarian men would sign up for a military this nationalistic, and remember, 18 million of Nazi Germany's 40 million men were in the Heer, and that's about 45% of that country's males. My size of 800,000 is about 40% of Hungary's men)
    • Turkey Diplomacy: Turkey vows to aid Hungary and Yugoslavia in their war, and to avenge the deaths of the tens of thousands of Turks during the Greek invasion and occupation of Turkey after World War I. The chance to punish the Greeks has attracted the attention of many young men seeking to honor their fathers' fight for Turkish sovereignty. Some 350,000 men are mobilized to take the fight to Greece, and return the impudent state to Turkish rule. The calls to Germany, the Soviet Union and Italy to aid in the fight are sent out.
    • Hungarian Diplomacy: We agree fully. Both our states have been trampled on by the victors of the First World War. It is time to take revenge. The Romanians and Greeks killed Hungarians, just like the Greeks killed the Turks, and dissolved our mighty empires. We also send a shipment of 100,000 FÉG 35M rifles, our newest creation, to celebrate our newly-formed alliance.
    • Italian Diplomacy: Italy withdraws all forces and the naval blockade from Iran and joins the war against Bulgaria and asks Yugoslavia, Turkey and Hungary for a military alliance while all forces previously in Iran are moved to the Turkish-Bulgarian border while the naval fleet blockades Bulgaria's coastline. The Italians are still angry for being left out of the main spoils in WW-I.
    • Turkish Diplomacy: Agreed. Turkey can handle Persia by itself from here on, and thanks the Italians for the aid during the fighting.

  • Korea: Korea continues to amp up their military, as well as continue building their economy. There is a big surplus in the budget, and the money is stored up for next year.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union continues to fund pro-Soviet sympathizers in Latvia and Estonia, and their continuing mission of causing chaos in the country. The Soviet sympathizers continue to gain support in Latvia and Estonia, and they begin to prepare to launch a SECRET coup against the governments to establish a pro-Soviet government, and by 1939, become annexed into the USSR. Meanwhile, the Soviet military continues to modernize, and the production of oil and grain also effects the economy. Soviet Navy launches a fourth battleship, and two submarines are launched into the Baltic region. Establishment of a trans-Russian Railway begins to connect Vladivostok to Moscow.
    • Turkish Diplomacy: Turkey would like additional Soviet aid in Persia, as the Soviets do maintain a sphere of influence in the north half of Persia. Turkey would gladly provide the Soviets with a third of any oil revenue gained from the region, and would support Soviet aims should they request it.
    • Soviet D: The Soviet will continue its SECRET support to Turkey and offers to provide Turkey with the designs of the T-34 MBT.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese Imperial government requests a non-aggression pact with the USSR.
    • Soviet D: Agreed.
  • Turkey: Turkey continues to modernize the economy with the establishment of several new car factories in Izmir and Bursa, and the construction of a railroad linking Van in the far eastern part of the nation to Diyarbakir. The military force in Yugoslavia returns to Turkey, and is merged with the returning forces from Persia. The establishment of a 750,000-man army is completed, and the government seeks to return to Persia immediately. They continue to SECRETLY supply Syrian and Iraqi rebels with the intention of merging the two regions into Turkey, and beginning work on building a new Islamic empire. The air force undergoes extensive restructuring with the introduction of 310,000 new I1 Zafer combat rifles for the army. The development of 500 Forvet fighter planes are instrumental to the establishment of a new military force.
    • Hungarian Diplomacy: We are willing to send an Army of 100,000 or more to assist our Turkish friends in taking over Persia.
    • Turkish Response: Turkey thanks Hungary for its commitment.
  • Argentina: The assimilation of the Fascist ideologies by the people is going well, thanks to the reform impacts. The military forces also grow as more and more young want to be heroes and fight for the motherland. An important tank corps is also built and we offer Turkey an alliance and support in their war in exchange for a good oil deal after the fall of Persia. Many modern military planes are bought from foreign powers to be studied and develop a strong plane. A strategic bomber began to be researched and Germany, Venezuela and Italy are invited to participate to the project. Italy is also asked for an alliance.
    • Turkish Diplomacy: Turkey agrees to the gesture from Argentina.
  • Persia: The Shah delivers a speech to the international community, calling out nations to intervene in the unfair and unjustified Turkish Invasion. Persian forces deploy tanks around more important areas, using the mountains as powerful areas of control, production is high in east, with various tanks, armored vehicles, weapons and even a few dozen aircrafts. The air force deploys around important military areas and the east. Thousands are enlisted into the militia, most eagerly responding to defend Persia by the unfair invasion, the Shah calls out for northern Communist groups to cooperate against the invaders, which succeed to an extent.
  • Venezuela realizes the deadline is here and officially declares war on Colombia. They send their troops through the border, who strategically occupy nearby towns and villages, but do no harm to the inhabitants. War factories are put into production as the demand for weapons is high. In order to increase independence, Venezuela begins digging mines for their products and not to depend so much on foreign imports. The spread of Fascism goes well in Venezuela, as many people want to see the glorification of the country.
  • Japan: With no response from the Chinese government or the Communist rebels, the Japanese government declares war on China in the name of restoring order to the broken nation. Operation Falling Dragon is launched with 400,000 Japanese Imperial soldiers invading from Manchuria and another 250,000 launching an amphibious assault from Formosa, a further 300,000 are being readied for the war. The government begins a general mobilization and the Japanese numbers will slowly increase as more men are recruited. The imperial Navy launches a series of strikes on the small Chinese navy all but destroying it in a matter of months and bombardment of the coastlines to soften it for Japanese advances begins. The naval expansion continues as the first of the Yamato battleships reaches its third of completion and the first Japanese submarines are being created. The Military industry begins building a new tank model based on recent designs to replace the inferior tanks currently in service. The naval Aerial integration is completed and a series of other aircraft carriers are to be built along with several airstrips on Formosa, two in Manchuria and a few in Japanese Pacific Islands to help the defence of national territory. The military orders several hundred more plans to increase the amount and help seal Japanese dominance in the east. The High Command becomes interested in Professor Hikosaka Tadayoshi's Atomic physics theory (written in 1934 real life) but they will leave this for the future as it is a demanding project and the war with China is more immediate.
  • Hungary: 81,000 of the surviving 85,000 soldiers in Yugoslavia are recalled to Hungary, where 4,000 will help clean up Yugoslavia from any damage the British, French, Romanian and Greeks caused. With an active force of 285,000, about 100,000 of the active soldiers will be deployed to Turkey, to assist one of our biggest allies in the war against Persia, as the 81,000 will be sent home for break and leave. (To give them a break for future combat.) With the death of Prime Minister Gyula Gömbös, from testicular cancer, King Horothy puts Kálmán Darányi, Hungarian Minister of Agriculture, as the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Hungary. Prime Minister Darányi wishes to pursue a Nationalistic form of Fascism, but wanted to promote close ties with Germany and Italy. Textbooks about the Great War, that claim that Yugoslavia and Italy were enemies of Hungary, are to be replaced by law, and destroyed, to replace textbooks that say that "Yugoslavia and Italy were countries betrayed by the British and French scum, and that with their friendship with Hungary, the three nations will get revenge." Continued mass production of weaponry of the Royal Hungarian Army continues, with tanks and APV's having reached 400 and 1,100 respectively by the summer. The economy improves because of this. The new heavy/night bomber, the M-37 Tűzvihar (Hungarian for Fire Storm), is produced, with 100 planned, thanks to resources available from our allies which are bought.
    • This war isn't over yet, I don't think. The Balkan allies want reparations and big ones.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges and Khāsāmi (คาซามิ) Tower continue construction. Plans for a racetrack is also proposed.
  • Yugoslavia: Pro-French uprisings take place all across the nation. The pro-French ask for French and British help. I resign as Yugoslavia.
    • Hungarian Diplomacy: The 4,000 soldiers stationed in Yugoslavia, will help put down the pro-French uprisings, and try to keep Yugoslavia as an ally. Though, if worse comes to worse (which it probably will, considering the player's resignation), the Army and its seven surviving M-36 Vihar fighter planes are authorized to retreat back to Hungary.
  • Romania: asks France to help build a new tank - the B2 bis - and moves a force 500,000 strong to its borders along Hungary.
  • Italy: Italian troops begin bombing Greek cities from the sea via aircraft/airtank carriers, while raiding parties are dropped behind Greek lines to cause havoc amongst the Greeks. Italian forces invade Bulgaria from the coast on the Black Sea with 65,000 troops and 65 tanks while Italian bombers bomb the coastal areas to destroy resistance from the Bulgarians. The new tactic is called Blitzkreig, or lightning war in German. Italy continues its blockade against Bulgaria as well. 15,000 troops are sent to Turkey to help fight Persia while 65 bombers and 35 fighters are given to Turkey to fight Persia. Il Duce Mussolini calls on the people to join the war effort, and guns, tanks, jeeps, warships, and other weapons begin to pour into the Italian Military while weapons begin to go into Yugoslavia and Turkey to fight the Bulgarians. Italy only hears of peace talks after the major operations in Bulgaria, and Italy mobilizes fully with troops sent to Yugoslavia.

  • Korea: Korea continues to industrialize, and asks for an alliance with the United States. They continue secretly trading with Japan, and mass trading with Siam. The economy improves greatly. Also, with the help of confusion in China from the Japanese invasion, Korea takes a little land in Manchuria, close to the Soviet Union.
  • Italy: Italy continues to attack Bulgaria and with the invasion of last year giving Italy a foothold, and with reinforcements of 45,000 troops and 80 tanks giving the Italian force there 103,000 troops and 98 tanks, (7,000 troops were taken as casulties or MIA) The Italian Army then leaves from its foothold and launches a full blown invasion of Bulgaria and begins to drive towards Sofia, the Bulgarian capitol. Bombings can now take place from Turkey as well and with bombers attacking from Turkey and the Italian fleet, Sofia is bombed mercilessly for over two weeks as is the fortifacations around the city. Italy asks for Turkish and Hungarian forces to help fight and take the Bulgarian capitol. The battle will take place after all allies report in whether they will help take the city or not. Italy also continue to battle Greece and bombing of the country from carriers and Turkey continues while larger raiding parties continue to be dropped behind enemy lines. The Italians also land in Crete and invade the Island with 75,000 troops and 16,000 marines with 30 tanks and 45 bombers and 25 fighters.
  • France: The French continue to aid the Greeks, and now send more and more troops to help the Bulgarians. Many troops stationed in Greece rush to Bulgarian lands, and the President pleas other nations to help, as "this is a merciless attack on innocent nations". The French make a naval attack on the Yugoslav coast, with ambitions to capture coastal cities in order to encourage the surrender of the Yugoslavs. Industrialization continues slowly but surely, and more ships are made available.
  • Spain: Emperor Rodriguez is appalled that the French are supporting the Greeks and declares war on France for the first time since the 1600s. Spain declares full support for Germany, Italy and Yugoslavia, and their allies. Almost immediately, Spanish troops begin pouring into Portugal, all bound for Lisbon. Meanwhile, Spanish tanks streak into France, destroying everything and killing every civilian in sight. The Spanish fleet begins bombarding French ports and fishing villages, causing widespread destruction. The Spanish Armada begins sinking all French shipping, and bombers make pre-emptive strikes on enemy naval ports. Emperor Rodriguez orders the capture of Oscar Carmona and Albert Lebrum, who are to be brought before him, clapped in iron, naked, shaved, and with Swastikas drawn on their foreheads. A massive draft is initiated, and all industries switch to wartime production, thus initiating total war. Emperor Rodriguez also sends threats to Neville Chamberlain and Franklin Roosevelt, warning them to mind their own business.
    • French D: The French are as equally appalled that the Spanish would help defend the aggressive enemy, and launch a counter-attack. As such, less military help is given to the Greeks and Romanians.
    • Also, you just finished your devastating civil war a few years ago, you haven't talked much about boosting your military reserve, or about your navy. I doubt you can cause that much widespread devastation, but an algorithm would be nice. ChrisL123 (talk)
    • UK D: Though they don't need it, just to show solidarity with the French, several fighter squadrons and bomber squadrons begin SEAD and air superiority (neither of which are particularly hard; Britain has one of the best air forces on Earth (this is before the Luftwaffe and Luftflotte buildup) and you don't have many ir defences.)
  • Romania: invades Hungary and declares war on Spain and uses their air force to gain control of Hungarian skies.
  • Argentina: declare its neutrality in the European war and the navy begun to be built up and upgraded with the newest technologies available. Venezuela is offered support to test our army following the German training, a draft of three years is made across the nation. The military buildup continues and plans are made to invade Chile if the army does well in Venezuela. We begun to send supplies to Turkey.
    • Romanian D: Threatens to declare war on Argentina if they continue to support Turkey.
  • Turkey: The Turkish military sends 150,000 troops to Greece to aid the alliance in the fight with the aims to either regaining the rebellious province of the old empire, or annexing Thesslonica into Turkey. A force of 400,000 troops, 445 tanks, and 300 aircraft are sent to deal with the Bulgarian menace, and regain the old Turkish gains there from the past Balknan Wars. Hungary is is urged to move their troops to converge on the Bulgarian nation from their side. The remaining 200,000 troops are repositioned throughout the nation to defend it from any enemies such as Persia to the east, where most of the troops are stationed. The new rail system allows for quick transportation of these forces back and forth in Turkey. Turkey also threatens war with Romania, and states that they are a far closer enemy than Argentina ever will be. Major drafts will begin if the need to so arises. An invasion force is assembled to take Syria, and plans to rebuild the old empire are drawn up in the process.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union continues to SECRETLY support Turkey against Persia, but declares neutrality in the European War between France and Spain. Laying of the Trans-Russian Railroad begins from Vladivostok to Moscow, while improvement of the interior infrastructure continues. Due to the confusion in China, and with the major powers occupied, invades Mongolia. The Soviets asks Korea and Japan not to support Mongolia, and in exchange, the Soviets will not intervene in China. The military is expanded, and the Soviet Air Force begins research into the possibility of high-altitude bombers and faster monoplanes.
    • SECRET Turkish D: While Turkey expresses gratitude for the Soviet aid in fighting against Persia, the war between the two nations has ended, and focus on taking Syria and fighting Greece and Bulgaria has begun.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese Government accepts the Soviet deal either way. The Japanese have no interest in herders and desert.
  • Persia: As the war with Turkey ends, the military begins improvements, the nation now entered where the industry is focused on the military, and is left with a surplus of modern aircraft and tanks. Persia sees a great chance in this, and begins recruiting and training new military personnel, the navy is set to be improved as well later, thoughts of putting Persian Warships in the north are thought of. The Shah begins talking of national unity among all kinds of Persians, no matter of religion or race, a two day festival is made in which a group of Christians and Muslims celebrate the peace between Persia, the festival is large-fied in the media, though it is ignored by many. The Shah has a dream of building a great railway throughout Persia.
    • UK: SECRETLY offers to Persia that in exchange for revenge on Turkey, the Persians will accept an alliance, give oil at half price, and so on.
  • Venezuela continues to move its newly mobilized army towards Bogota, the capital of the country. (SOMEONE MAKE AN ALGORITHM FOR THE COLOMBIAN-VENEZUELAN WAR). They send an envoy to Ecuador, telling the country to unite with Venezuela, as it does not want to attack the country in order to recreate the state, but will have to if it does not comply with the demand. They beat back the untrained inexperienced Colombian troops, but continue to be merciful towards the inhabitants as much as possible.
  • Japan: The Japanese forces begin landing off the coast of China from Formosa in large numbers and the fighting is widespread and largely brutal. The high command, though interested in breaking China, orders all soldiers to act civilized and not kill at will. Breaking military code is responded with court martial. But still there are mass executions of Chinese soldiers but only of them while men who are fit are rounded up and put in prison camps to avoid them joining the war. The industrialization process in non-industrialized areas of Japan continues.
  • Hungary: Enraged by Romanian aggression, Hungary authorizes its entire reserve force, bringing the military up to 730,000 ready soldiers, plus the extension of Conscription from 14 to 50. The Prime Minister pleads to Turkey, Yugoslavia, Italy, Germany and Spain, to help get revenge on Romania, after their aggressive mood. The entire Air Force is authorized, with all planes ordered to shoot down every Romanian, Bulgarian and French planes that attempt to attack. We apologize to Turkey that we can't help immediately in the Bulgarian War, but promise assistance, as soon as Romania is put into their place. All 88,000 surviving soldiers from Turkey, are split in half, to fight in Bulgaria, and the rest to join in attacking Romania. Bombers are to be sneaked through, and strike down Romanian villages close to the border, as retaliation for the Romanian threat. However, to take advantage of Hungary being attacked, flyers are sneaked into Slovak areas of Czechoslovakia, asking the Slovak population to help their Hungarian brothers and sisters, and to sneak over and join the Royal Hungarian Army and the Royal Hungarian Air Force.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges and Khāsāmi (คาซามิ) Tower continue construction. Soon, the Bira International Circuit is proposed to be built and is accepted. The track will begin construction next year.
  • Bulgaria: The Invasion of Bulgaria is a staggering failure that leaves the so-called greater powers shocked. The 103,000 troops and 98 tanks that Italy sent deep into Bulgarian lands are decimated due to their poor tactical manoeuvres, with an estimated 80,000 being killed in action due to huge French assistance, Bulgarian militias and air power superiority while the entirety of the tanks were destroyed. Pictures of the dead Italian soldiers piled high are posted in the newspapers the next day. The Italian air force is crippled as it meets Bulgarian fighters and few bombers even reach Sofia. The Turkish forces fare better than the Italians and out of the 400,000 troops, 445 tanks and 300 aircraft around 100,000 are killed, 200 tanks are destroyed and 100 of the aircraft are shot down. However, they are quickly retreating once the Greeks arrive. Bulgaria and its allies suffer 120,000 casualties and lose few tanks and aircraft. The key advantage here was the greater manoeuvring capability and air superiority that gave the Balkan allies the victory. Daskalov puts the country into a state of emergency and declares that until the current wars are over the Prime Minister will have ultimate power. Expansion programs continue.
  • UK: Denounces the Soviets as well as the Turks. SECRETLY offers Persia that in exchange for revenge on Turkey, the Persians will accept an alliance, give oil at half price, and so on. Meanwhile, 15 squadrons of Hurricane Mk. IV, Spitfire Mk. III, and Lancaster Mk. II are moved to Bulgaria, where they aid the Bulgarians and Greeks against the Turks. Another 50,000 troops are moved as well. Churchill makes a speech, suggesting that WW-II will come not from Germany but from the Med. The Navy is reorganized into battle groups, and the 3rd, 9th and 11th are moved to the area around Cyprus though they do not repeat NOT attack anyone.
  • Brazil: Declares war against Turkey and Hungary and sent 150.000 troops and 50 tanks to Help the Greeks in taking Constantinople, While Argentina Is asked that they don't support the Turkish armies or we will be forced to respond into war against Argentina, though we would like to deal with this more peacefully. The war against Peru is started as planned in an attempt to gain some coast of the Pacific with a small army of 60.000 and 60 tanks sent to the border.
    • Argentina D: We will think about it, (It was simply a misunderstanding, I was thinking that you were supporting Turkey)
    • Brazil D: Very well then, we will wait until your decision is taken (I support the Balkan powers like Greece, Bulgaria and Romania so that is an odd misunderstanding but we will.)
    • Argentina response: We will stop supporting Turkey and we offer Brazil 20 000 soldiers and 45 tanks to support the invasion of Peru.
    • Brazil D: We accept your offer of soldiers, and thank you for your support in Peru.

  • Korea: Korea continues to industrialize, as well as militarize. They take a little more land in Manchuria, and the nation continues to modernize.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: Taking notice of the slight Korean expansion the Japanese warns Korea about expanding into the state of Manchuria which is a free nation and under Japanese protection. Any attacks on it will be considered an offence against Japan. Korea may have the land they have already taken but only that any more will lead to repercussions.
  • Venezuelan Forces superior to the Colombian military, manage to break through their defenses and capture the city of Bogota. They give the government one order: join the country and everything will be fine, or they will force them to (RNG ON THIS PLEASE). They remain neutral in Europe due to the war in South America. Meanwhile, several Fascist politicians protest the country's alliance with their European brothers, stating that they need to be independent of any foreign interference.
  • Japan: The soldiers in China make gains over nationalist forces, They still haven't come across the Communist forces and begin planning countermeasures to deal with the guerrilla force. Goods and food are distributed throughout occupied territories as propaganda is distributed about how Japan is a friend and is there to help. The Japanese continue advancing along the coastline to secure all ports and from there a move inland will be made. The new type 99 rifle begins widespread distribution along with the T35 submachine gun. The new tortoise (would love someone to put tortoise in Japanese) tank has began production designed and will be put into service by late 1939. The Japanese make a large push south from Mancuria seizing Beijing and plans are made to continue the push once the supply lines stabilize and are sufficiently protected. The Japanese begin accelerating the training of the Manchurian Imperial army so as to counter Korean expansion and Japan grants more liberties to the Emperor of Manchuria. Expansion of heavy industry continues and a small industrialization in French Indochina begins with the intention of making more profits and giving work to local Vietnamese, Laotians and Cambodians. A few merchants open businesses in Malaysia. The first Yamato Class battleship nears completion.
  • Hungary: The Romanians have been pushed away from Hungary, though not without at least 10,000 casualties and we thank our allies for helping in protect our borders. (Can someone say if the war is over yet, the algorithm has been done, but I don't know if it can continue). Factories continue production on tanks, fighter and bomber planes, and FÉG 35M rifles. Invasion of Romania wasn't planned until Operation Megtorlás (Retaliation, or Revenge) could be fully planned out, but as an ultimatum, we threaten to invade Transylvania, and take it back as Erdély (the Hungarian name of Transylvania), should Romania perform another attack. 250,000 soldiers are stationed at the Eastern borders, to protect Hungary from Romanian aggression. Military grows even further, since high number of males turning 18 willingly are joining with the Army, which will quickly make back the numbers lost in the past couple wars. The next phase of operation is planned, to encourage the separation of Czechoslovakia, for reasons not released to the public at this point. This plan is VERY secret, and is only being told to higher-ups in unnamed nations. Meanwhile, a small piece of territory won from Romania is being taken over, with Hungarian flags and troops stationed, to celebrate the small, yet celebratory victory. Only small villages were in the area, with many villagers having escaped before the Armed Forces took over the land, though at least 30 who didn't leave, are taken prisoner. The Hungarian government offers that if Romania withdraws from all hostilities with Hungary and our allies, then all 30 villagers will be safely handed over back to Romania.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction and Khāsāmi (คาซามิ) Tower is finished being built. Soon, the Bira International Circuit begins construction.
  • Persia: The Shah declares that Iran and Persia are both acceptable uses in the country and how it is to be referenced by it much to the displeasure of some religious leaders, yet business carries on as usual. Roads begin improvements along with many buildings, oil prices are lowered to all foreign businesses excluding other countries that have their own areas where they produce much oil. As this happens there are various investors, yet the Shah leaves twenty percent of all oil fields owned by civilian and military Persian authorities. It secretly denies British offers, the Shah deciding to keep a strictly neutral policy. Military Generals call for a much larger budget for the military.

  • Korea: Korea declares their support for Persia, although they have no way of helping. They do, however, request an alliance with Persia, as well as with the United States, UK and France. The interior continues to be improved, and the military is amped up as well. They request to buy some tanks from the Soviet Union, who makes the best tanks around.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: We agree.
    • Persian D: We accept your alliance.
    • UK: Agreed.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Government is disappointed in the loss of Mongolia, but states that it will return with heavier weapons. Meanwhile, the Soviet government asks Latvia and Estonia to join the Soviet Union, in exchange for improvement of the infrastructure of the two countries, and to help deal with the anarchist groups in the country (RNG, please). The Soviet Army begins manufacturing light tanks, and the Soviet Air Force begins to design a faster aircraft and high-altitude bomber. The Soviet Navy launches a fourth battleship, and joins the other three battleships in the Pacific.
    • 1-7 No, 8-10 Yes. Generated number: 8. Yes
    • Japanese Diplomacy: Noticing the Russian build up in the Pacific, requests they limit their expansion of naval forces in the region. In exchange, a promise that no attempts will be made by Japan to infringe their maritime areas.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: We acknowledge Japan's request, and will begin removing small amounts of vessels to the Baltic at a time.
  • Japan: The Japanese forces continue pushing along the coastline in Southern China from the beachhead they made using Formosa focusing on moving towards Shanghai and possibly moving south of the original beachhead as well. The Japanese forces in the north surround a nationalist army and manage to defeat them and wipe out a third of their forces, with this the army in the north begins pushing south along the coastline. Bombing campaigns along the coastline intensify. The first Yamato battleship is completed and four more are comissioned for construction. Formosa becomes the prefecture of Taihoku and its capital is the city of Taihoku, all non-Japanese on the island are granted limited citizenship instead of being residents of the empire. Later they will be giving full citizenship. Reforms in the education system are put forward. Businesses throughout Southeast Asia begin to grow.
  • Italy: Italy launches a final attack on Sofia, the Bulgarian capitol, and with 200,000 troops force the Battle of Sofia while bombers mercilessly bomb Bulgarian lines and fortifications. 350 tanks soon join the battle while paratroopers are dropped behind enemy lines with machine guns and attack the Bulgarian rear, forcing the Bulgarians to fight two fronts at once, then Italian forces swing south and to the north, encircling the Bulgarian Army. Soon the Allied forces bomb the trapped Bulgarian forces and slowly the Allies begin to push tighter until the final Bulgarian soldiers surrender, and Sofia falls to the Alliance of Italy, Turkey, Spain, Germany, Yugoslavia, and Hungary. More troops soon flood the occupied Bulgarian capitol, and allied forces begin preparing for the final battles of the Bulgarian front.
    • You are continuing/starting the war again, that's okay but your troops were wiped out, you have none left in Bulgaria. And Germany and Yugoslavia aren't involved one bit. You've lost, in fact after the algorithm for this we'll take Rhodes so chocks away! Oh, and mods could you check this dude up. He seems to be being implausible and ignoring the algorithm. Kunarian (talk) 15:03, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
    • Hahahah, funny. A) You have maybe 50,000 troops total, and even the BULGARIAN troops are better trained, since most of yours are conscripts. Italy was in a worse condition in 1939, And they had been building up for several years, while you have merely been at war, which doesn't help. Also, Machine guns? Those things were huge back then, and YOU don't have many.
  • Persia: Industry is continued to be encouraged. The Shah requests a group individuals, engineers, to make a new tank, much cheaper and efficient than current Persian tanks.
  • Brazil: Declares war against Italy and aids with the troops sent the last year to Europe in a coordinated assault at Naples, while the Remaining army in Brazil continues to fight against the Peruvian armies in the Southern Andes of Peru
  • Argentina: The government declares war against Chile after a border incident. The navy immediately blockades the Chilean coast, while the military base begins to be bombed. However, the city is spared for the moment. A plan to cut the nation into three also began but most of the forces are sent toward the capital and everything north of it while Patagonia is more populated. The people also began to call for all foreign influence to be removed and it results in the end of the German alliance but trade continues.
  • Venezuela, deciding after the response goes unanswered, continues to wage war by taking over the rest of the country. With the northeast under the military's might, they aim to take the rest of the central and eventually the whole western area. They send the offer to Ecuador again, saying by the time Colombia's done, they'll assume that they want war.
  • Hungary: With Romanians backing away (Can mods confirm this?), the 30 prisoners are safely returned over the new established border. While the Hungarians are violent, and filled with rage, in order to not provoke Romania at the moment, Lieutenant-General Vilmos Nagy de Nagybaczon of the Royal Hungarian Army, is in charge of the 100 soldiers transporting the prisoners, orders that the prisoners be treated well when sent to Romania, in order to make Hungary look like good, respectful soldiers. As Brazil declares war on our ally, Italy, the Brazillian embassy is closed in Budapest, with its ambassador declared persona non grata, as Hungary declares war on Brazil. With Romania not attacking Hungary at the moment, 400,000 soldiers are returned to reserve status, leaving about 355,000 soldiers active. (Army is slightly regrowing, thanks to more boys turning 16.) 155,000 soldiers, 150 tanks of vareity, 15 bombers, ten fighter planes are deployed to Bulgaria, to assist in bringing down Bulgaria.
    • Yes, You have actually taken part of Romanian land, 17 pixels.-Pita
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction and Khāsāmi (คาซามิ) Tower has continued construction in the inside and won't be done until 1940. The Bira International Circuit also continues construction.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese Empire offers the Siamese entry into the war.
    • Siam Diplomacy: Prime Minister Phot Phahonyothin accepts the entry into the war, and sends some military support for Japan.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The government requests that Siamese forces help the Japanese forces take the rest of the southern coast of China and the Island of Hainan, from there joint operations will begin.
    • Siam Diplomacy: Prime Minister Phot Phahonyothin agrees to it, and sends Siamese forces to go take the Hainan Island first and from there plans to invade via Zhanjiang area and go from there.
  • Turkey: The Turkish government continues development of the national infrastructure, and orders the modernization of the nation's ports to handle larger ships and assist in the development of the navy in the future once the economic woes have passed. The government has also been seeking to pull the troops out of Bulgaria, though a renewed offensive to retake Turkish lands and punish the Bulgarian menace has begun already. Many Turkish citizens see the Bulgarian invasion as an attempt to avenge themselves for the loss of the nation centuries past, and fear the repercussions of a Bulgarian invasion. This has pushed many to join the military to reclaim their lands and halt the Bulgarian advance into Turkey.
  • Spain: On the Portuguese front, Spanish troops overrun Portuguese fortifications and mostly level Lisbon. Meanwhile, on the French front, Spanish tanks continue to streak through the countryside, annihilating everything French, military and civilian. Spanish fighters move over Romania to ensure air superiority, and to provide support for Hungary Part of the Spanish Armada moves to support Yugoslavian forces, while several other ships separate from the Armada begin patrolling British waters and the US Eastern Seaboard to ensure they don't try anything funny. The president of Portugal is brought before Emperor Rodriguez the way he ordered him to be brought in and is publicly executed shortly thereafter. We offer technology sharing between us and Germany.
    • Yeah, dude? You're on the defensive here. It's Britain plus France vs you. You're not streaking through the French countryside (LOL, that sounds ...)
    • UK: Laughs and sends five Battle Groups and a segment of the Home Fleet to sink your troops. Our navy is superior to yours, Buddy. Don't try that game. Also, 20,000 troops are sent to aid the French.
  • UK: Nearly 70,000 British troops move to Bulgaria, where they aid the Bulgarians against the piffling Italian attack and the more serious Turkish attack. Meanwhile, troops numbers are raised in all colonies, provinces, etc under the Empire. Where the heck is America? We NEED AMERICA! So far, a total of 1.5 million troops is raised.

  • Korea: Korea continues to improve their interior, and also begin to do heavy training with the tanks that were provided by the Soviet Union. They are superior to anything the Japanese can offer, although there are not enough of them. They continue to support Persia and condemn Turkey.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Army enters Latvia and Estonia after the Treaty of Unification was signed between the two national governments and the Soviet Union. The Soviet Army begins to fullfil its promise, and deals with the anarchist groups in the two new territories. Research continues into a faster plane and a high-altitude bomber. Two of the four battleships are transferred from the Pacific to the Baltic, while another is deployed to the Bering Sea in respect of its agreement with Japan. The Soviet Government strongly urges Spain to withdraw from France, seeing it as a useless war, especially when it's just Spain against France and Great Britain.
  • Japan: The Japanese continue expanding the Imperial army and efforts to make effective armored personnel carriers is put forward. And the first Tortoise tank near completion, they will adopt the place as the heavy tanks of the army. Designs are made to improve the light tanks in mobility, armor and armament to bring them up to standards with other major world powers. A chemical and biological weapons program begins under absolute secrecy under Unit 731. Funds begin going towards the development of a nuclear program as the high command as well as the Diet finally come to an agreement on its future importance (Is it all right to start the nuke program? 1939 was the year most countries started OTL, I won't finish it. I'll just to get it under way for the future). Fighting in China is going generally well. Much of the Chinese coastline up lies under Japanese control including Nanjing, the Capital. Plans to annex the coastline from Shanghai down to Xiamen are put forward for after the war. Finally in northern China fighting breaks out at full throttle as more troops push into the area to secure it and establish a second puppet state in China now supported by Manchurian soldiers as well. The joint Siamese-Japanese assault on Hainan is launched leading to quick taking of the island. Plans to launch an invasion of southern China in a joint war effort are put forward. Japan declares the creation of the East Asian Trade and Security Pact or EATSP with Japan and Manchuria as its first members. Siam is invited to join and Korea is invited as an observer and possible future member. The Japanese Imperial Diet continues pushing forward its plans for the increase in Japanese economic presence in South East Asia, using French Indochina as the centre due to Japanese control over the French colony's economy which was purchased. Economic influence in Malaysia also increases a bit. The Japanese government looking to gain another ally in East Asia begins actively courting nationalist organizations in the Dutch East Indies and promises support if they in the future decide to declare independence sending supplies and firearms to the Dutch islands.
    • Siam Diplomacy: Prime Minister Phot Phahonyothin accepts the invitation and has Siam join the EATSP.
  • Hungary: More military bases are put in the small bit of Romanian land (Bihor County) that Hungary currently occupies, with two Army bases, and one Air Force bases. We recommend to Italy that Bulgaria is not worth taking right now, and that in the future, we will have a better chance in taking over both Bulgaria and Romania. Hungarian Army drill sergants are offered to go to Italy, to help train the conscripts to Hungary's high standards. We also ask to buy 50 CANT Z.1007 heavy bombers from Italy, to help increase our growing Air Force, along with 100 Dornier Do 215 night bomber planes from Germany. Military opportunities are encouraged. Men and women are both encouraged to go to flight school, leading to as many as 3,000 students learning how to fly fighter and bomber planes, at least 800 more will graduate by the summer. (Speaking of which, where is Germany? How can we have a WW-II map game without Germany?) Still in total SECRECY, discussions on how to put Slovakia back into Hungarian eyes. King Horthy and Prime Minister Darányi, holds a meeting in Budapest, for Hungary's allies to come together and form what could be called, the "Axis Powers". (Fun fact: In OTL, the earlier Hungarian Prime Minister actually suggested this as an alliance between Germany, Italy and Hungary, only for it to eventually be focused on the former two) Oradea is fully occupied (didn't realize there was such a big city that was in occupied territory), but to avoid sparking an immediate retaliation from Romania, the city, along with the county, will be spared, as long as they either work for Hungarian industries, or join the Royal Hungarian Army.
  • Argentina: The invasion of Chile is going well after that the nation cut in half and Santiago come under siege. The Chilean air force is also entirely destroyed. After that the last air bases are bombed. Meanwhile, in the northern section, most of the territories there fall to Argentina while furious battle begun in the Chilean Patagonia, the battles are harder as the tanks are not numerous due to the hard terrain. The industries in Argentina begin to be built up while the nation begun to be modernise. Finally, Venezuela and Brazil are approached to form a military and political organisation of fascist south America to prevent foreign intervention, support each other and establish what belongs to who in order to prevent territorial conflict between us.
  • Venezuela agrees to the Argentinian request, as they hope for an independent Latin America. They continue to push through the Colombian defenses at a slow, yet steady pace. They manage to crush the inferior Colombian troops. They send the Ecuador the request again, demanding an answer. The government is toppled by another fascist leader, who while continues the plans, breaks all ties and dependencies with fascist Europe.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction with one of them completed and Khāsāmi (คาซามิ) Tower continues construction in the inside. The Bira International Circuit also continues construction. Siamese military continues to help the Japanese in the war against China.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: In a SECRET MESSAGE to Bangkok, the Japanese suggest a future effort to help liberate the Dutch East Indies to another ally and much needed oil that the colony possesses as an asset to the EATSP.
    • Siam Diplomacy: Prime Minister Phot Phahonyothin secretly agrees to help them in the liberation of the Dutch East Indies.
  • Germany: makes a huge comeback onto the world scene. Its industrial heartlands producting at near-maximum levels, help to keep the populace busy while new agricultural methods are looked into. Many more tanks and aircraft are manufactured, with M-109s and M-110s also becoming widely manufactured. Many more aircraft are added to the Fatherland's air force and the Hungarian deals are accepted. The secret meeting between the proposed Axis Powers takes place in Berlin and Germany is fully in for the idea. The 6th German battleship is launched. Dropping tonnes of propaganda leaflets, Germany moves in to occupy the eastern portion of Poland which was under German rule, following the Soviets in their move. On the Czech front, Germany occupies the Sudetenland and asks the western powers not to interfere as it would be interfering in a "German" matter. It is not considered full-on war by the cabinet and Hitler, only a move to capture lands which were German. Danzig quickly falls and other areas are also almost completely taken over. The 1000s of miles of autobahn are put to good use to transport tanks and artillery pieces. The populace is continuously encouraged to enjoy their life as well as support the country's troops. Many places are opened for females as well. A huge Aryan baby boom continues. The army numbers over 1.5 million.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: The Soviet Union follows suit of the Germans, and sends three armoured divisions and five infrantry divisions into eastern portion of Poland. (Imp, I believe you mean western Poland, as eastern Poland is bordered by the USSR).
  • UK: Stays out of the war. However, military buildup, as well as economic one continues, in screaming force. (Who's playing France? Let's go, man! I cannot fight this war without you.) All troops in foreign countries are pulled back to the UK. All over the world, troops numbers continue to be increased. The total (after four years of buildup, unlike one year OTL) is 4.5 million.
  • Italy: Italy withdraws from Bulgaria and Italy's Army currently is 780,000 men. All of Hungary's requests are granted while Libya, now fully industrialized modernized thanks to Italian rule, begins to pour out military weaponry and has a self defence force about 155,000 troops. Will add more later. Italy invades France to aid Spain, and it is suggested we take Corsica. However Italian troops soon begin to link up with Spain in Southern France. Italian tanks and Italy's air force begin to bomb the French everywhere within range. Italy suggests uniting all nuclear weapons projects into one so we get nukes sooner and the entire alliance gets nukes at the same time.
  • Spain: Portugal is annexed, while the Invasion of France continues. We request assistance from our allies in our struggle against the French. The new Portuguese labor pool proves to be a fantastic source of re-enforcements. Some of the Portuguese soldiers are sent to Eastern Europe to assist the Germans and Soviets. Meanwhile, the Spanish Armada continues to combat the French navy, while several other ships begin patrolling the coast of Portugal to ensure no enemy ships can land troops in Portugal. A Spanish fleet is sent to the Pacific to set up a Naval Base. Part of the fleet heads for the Far East to assist the Japanese in their conquest of Asia. Spanish scientists begin researching nuclear weapons, thanks to the Uranium from Germany.
  • Not a Big Cheese, no nukes.
  • Brazil: the Armies of Brazil continue marching into Cuzco and Arequipa in a pure attempt to reach the Pacific and claim this land into the Brazilian Republic. Despite this, more forces have been deployed - around 200,000 - to secure these areas. While this, the President Getulio Vargas chooses to decrease its fascism yet keeping the changes he already did. (My reason is just that I want good world relationships and I'm not going to achieve it with fascism) yet he sees the reality of the fact said by the Argentinian and Venezuelan. He states that the best way to avoid this is by being their allies. In Italy another 30,000 forces and four squads of airplanes (four airplanes each one) start attacking small ports in southern italy, such as Naples and Tarento. This yet seize after the news of the ceasefire between Italy and Bulgaria
  • Das USA returns! I need to know who's fighting who and what wars are happening. Also need to know alliances.
  • The USA introduces a draft, condemns Spain and Italy, signs Lend-Lease with France, fortifies Alaska in case of Soviet invasion, and moves parts of the Pacific Fleet to the Philippines, all at once. FDR maintains a neutral stance. Meanwhile John Garner resigns. Wallace succeeds him. Japan and China asked for alliances. Brazil, Venezuela, condemned. Turkey, condemned. Germany, condemned. Hitler, hated. Spanish and Mexicans, mobbed and killed and deported to Mexico by mobs and vigilantes. All at the same time.
  • Um. I'm pretty sure the US can't have alliances. Still in isolation. And you do know that if the deportation of Mexicans continue, you will eventually lose most of your agricultural work force. Trust me, I live out in Southern CA, there's a lot of Mexicans (and Hispanics). Enclavehunter (talk) 02:10, September 13, 2012 (UTC)
  • I know, it's just a few mobs in Arizona and Texas. Mostly killing odd job Mexicans though.

  • Korea: Korea continues to modernize, and continues heavy trading. They agree to join the Japanese alliance, although it does not sell well with the people. Some figures in the government protest the move, but they are minority figures.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: In an act of good faith Japan offers a formal and humble apology to the Korean people for crimes committed against them during an era of forced annexation. This apology is accepted by the current Diet and military command but is greatly contested by ultra-nationalists who still maintain influence, many of which are secretly silenced.
  • Argentina: continue to invade Chile. While the capital of Santiago is under siege, many people in the city began to die from starvation and the Chilean government is sent an ultimatum: surrender or face the destruction of Santiago (RNG PLEASE). The industries continue to be increased. Brazil is say in a last attempt to make it join the Latin American alliance by assuring it that no power shall intervene in their expansion and that we would be benefited for all of us as the Latin America would become self-sufficient. The Mexican Fascists are approached to establish a relation with them in order to a long term bring Mexico into the alliance.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union begins its own nuclear program to help increase the power of the Soviet Union. The Soviet Air Force continues to design a faster aircraft, while construction of a high-altitude bomber prototype begins. The Soviet Navy begins to bombard the eastern portion of Poland, while the Soviet Army pushes deep into Poland, brushing aside the weak Polish Army. The Soviet Air Force devastates most of the Polish Air Force in eastern Poland. Assurances are sent to the US that the USSR has no eye for Alaska.
    • 'I thought I might point this out, just in case. According to Wikipedia, Soviet physicists began minor research into nuclear fission back in the late 1930s. Enclavehunter (talk) 02:39, September 13, 2012 (UTC)I
  • Venezuela conquers the whole central region of Colombia and begins pushing their forces to conquer the eastern region. They wait for Ecuador to give their response (RNG PLEASE). Also, the economy of Venezuela booms from the demand of weapons and supplies. Venezuela asks Brazil and Argentina to form the Latin American Confederation with Venezuela in order to achieve an economic and military bloc for this part of the world. CAN SOMEONE MAKE AN ALGORITHM FOR WAR PLEASE?!?!?!?!
  • Hungary: Some of the best nuclear physicists are given the chance to study in Berlin and Rome, to help the nuclear program that is being developed between the Axis Powers. We thank the Germans and Italians for selling their equipment to us, to help build the Army and Air Force. Similar Propaganda from Germany is encouraged in Hungary, to encourage the birthing of powerful Magyar children. At least 650 pilots graduated from Federal Flight Schools, which encourages the rapid building of fighters and bombers that are produced in Hungary. Propaganda leaflets in Slovak are being dropped across the border in Czechoslovakia, encouraging the Slovak population to declare independence, and form their own Republic. (Which will be, of course, a Hungarian Puppet State). The results are not fully confirmed, though reports of both pro-Hungarian (Separatists) and pro-Czechoslovakia (Unionists) Slovaks are confirmed from eyewitness accounts in Slovakia. War will not be declared on Czechoslovakia, until it can be confirmed that the Czechs will not be able to assist the Unionist Slovaks. Military work is strongly encouraged, promising an increase to all soldiers. As a reward for victory from the Romanian attack, an increase in pay of P2.50/Day (Hungarian Pengő), which is about $0.50 US. (That would be considered very good pay in an economy like Hungary at this time). While we don't know what Germany, Italy, Turkey and other allies think of Japan's position, and while an offer to join the Axis Powers is always available, we are considering a non-aggression pact with Japan.
  • Japan: The Imperial forces now with the tortoise tank in distribution finally have a decisive advantage over the Chinese and the fighting turns against them increasingly. This is also helped by the fact that the Chinese are fighting amongst themselves. Fighting continues to the south as the landing operation made by Siamese and Japanese forces begins meeting more casualties then expected but managing to take the coastal city. The Imperial Diet with the Imperial approval grants permission to the now-named Hiroshima Unit (the irony the city that was destroyed by a nuke is where Japan's first will be built in another six or seven years), and to other groups will be established one in Taihoku, and the other near Harbin also located near the brutal Unit 731 which is expanding the research program extensively. The industrial complex of Manchuria is expanded to help there as well as the Japanese economy thrives. Plans are put forward to eventually make rushes into the Chinese interior, but many vote against this move both in the Diet and in the High Command but in the end a compromise is made, Japan will offer aid to Islamics in China giving them a chance to gain independence, and Japan will advance till the cities of Xian, Yinchuan and to Kunming, and from those areas puppet states will be made while what's left of free China will be left to crumble however they see fit. Distribution of goods and food continue amongst the populace of the occupied areas, but guerrilla movements begin arising and more troops are forced to be sent to China - now numbering about 3,000,000 troops, plus another 200,000 Manchu soldiers. In Manchuria the Imperial army of Manchu now numbers a total of 500,000 troops. Economic growth continues and using its unique position in South East Asia Japan continues bargaining with nationalist groups throughout the Dutch East Indies where supplies are now being sent. The first submarine is made in Japan and more are started as well.
    • French D: We will sell French Indochina to Japan but because of a violent independence movement we want to crush the uprisings first before we sell the colony
    • Japanese diplomacy: The Japanese Government offers to take care of the rebellious populace themselves. This way French soldiers will be able to fight in Europe where they are needed.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction and Khāsāmi (คาซามิ) Tower continues construction in the inside. The Bira International Circuit also continues construction. Siamese military continues to help the Japanese in the war against China. Meanwhile a major storm hits Kamphaeng Phet Province and causes some damage, and aid and clean up takes place.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: Aid is sent to help the Siamese with the areas hit.
  • France: bombs Madrid with 20 bombers. 62 fighters are ordered to protect the bombers. Meanwhile, it warns Venezuela that if they do not leave Colombia France will declare war on Venezuela and France asks for a military alliance with the US
    • Japanese Diplomacy: With the increasing presence of Japanese businesses and interests in French Indochina, Japan requests to buy the colony outright from the French since the economic rights of the area are already Japanese from the previous purchase.
  • Italy: The pitiful Brazilian attacks are repulsed while the navy establishes a safety blockade around Italy to keep annoying pests out of the country. Italian forces continue to invade southern France. Will add more later
  • Brazil: the Republic agrees in the Latin American Confederation to avoid an intervention from other nations which only seek for their advantage or to steal the resources of this nation, while the City of Arequipa is now under Brazilian control and the Army continues the attempt to conquer Cuzco - who still holds out. The army continues its campaign in Peru while the President decides to ask Britain an alliance.
  • Persia: It ends production of the newer tanks, a total of two-hundred tanks with unorthodox methods having been made, the tanks use slopes in their front shields to be able to ram other tanks (or other concrete objects) while it also guards the tank more effectively, although there are issues with submachine guns, but the main gun rotates quickly and fires with an incredible punch. The Shah opens three schools for the Air force, accepting women and men above the age of 21. There are some protests of this by hardcore religious extremists. Persia sends a trade pact to the leader of Turkey, hoping to remake relations between the two countries.
    • Turkish D: The Turks are more than happy to accept a trade pact from the Persian government.
  • Cuba: Communism becomes more of a popular mindset, especially in Western Cuba.
  • Turkey: The 200,000 troops positioned at the Persian border have been withdraw in light of new efforts to rebuild relations between the two countries. The fighting in Bulgaria is halted, and all the troops involved in the fighting, 500,000 in all, are placed near Syrian borders with the repositioned troops from Persia. SECRET invasion plans for Syria are drawn up, and requests to the Soviet Union, Persia, Japan, and Italy are sent in regards to a joint invasion (and for Japanese logistical support) of Syria.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese have no interest in the Turkish plans and advise them against an invasion of a French territory. Besides, there is no benefit to Japan getting involved in a war with France at this time. The Turkish ambassador is ushered out of the Diet quickly.
    • Soviet Diplomacy: We are currently occupied in Poland, and we only want to have one front at a time. We also strongly urge not to go after Syria and France, as it will result in your destruction. Persia is one thing, but French Syria is another.
    • Turkish Response: Turkey shall heed the advise of its allies.
  • 'My dear, dear friends, WHY are France and the UK NOT SUPPORTING POLAND?!!!
  • I think it's because no one wants to start World War 2 yet but it's just around the bend.
  • Either way, all major European powers are already at war, France is fighting Spain and Italy who are allied with Germany. Britain is supporting the UK so we basically already have the basis for WW-II. I have no idea why fighting hasn't already broken out between Germany and France.
  • Britain will next turn, when I reach ten million people. Been gathering up the army since three years ago, enough time. And Britain is the UK.
  • UK: The recruitment drive continues, having hit eight million. Hitler is warned; Leave Poland EFFING NOW or we will decimate your puny army. Yours is like two million. We outnumber you. We have been working on our air force, so that's better. Our navy can pwn yours no matter what. Leave. Also, Hitler must be removed from power. Meanwhile, the British Nuclear program is started, with (I figure, it only makes sense since it happened OTL). It is made in the outskirts of Colchester. Good progress is made.
    • Uh, you don't outnumber the German military. You had ten million troops at the beginning of 1939. Germany had 20 million. Furthermore, your troops are all across the globe, Germany's are all located a single region. Moving ten million troops fom all of your colonies would take at most, two years, and your European based forces only numbered about 1-2 million in 1939. If you move all of those troops to Europe, you're going to leave everything else vulnerable. Africa, India, Australia, Iraq, Singapore, New Zealand, all of that will be free game.
  • Germany: Industrial heartlands keep producting at near-maximum levels, and new and better agricultural methods are put into play to increase yield and crop production. Many more tanks and aircraft are manufactured, with M-109s and M-110s also becoming widely manufactured. Many advanced tanks (yup, those devastating ones in WW-II) are manufactured, but they have been made easy be manufactured in large numbers and have been given slanting armour (this basically means some of its advantages have been cut down to make it mass-producable, unlike in OTL). A nuclear program begins to be made good use of and many "Aryan" scientists are put to use. Papers from a certain Albert Einstien were found and put into secret use for the scientists. Germany incorporates the portion of Poland which had been traditionally German into WW-I. The remainder is made into a puppet state and will be dealt with differently. Propaganda leaflets also begin to be dropped into Lithuania, to show that them joining their traditional allies would be a good move. On the Czech front, Sudetenland is changed into the Nazi ways while the rest of the country is broken up between Czechland and Slovakia. Czechland is put under German influence, while Slovakia's responsibility is given to the Hungarians. The 1000s of miles of autobahn did their work well and new stretches are opened to the public. The populace is continously encouraged to enjoy their life as well as support the country's troops. Many places are opened for females as well. A huge Aryan baby boom continues. The army numbers over 25 million, following the official showing of the army numbers to the German populace. Most of the troops had been in training and finally had been utilized with the invasion of Poland. With this number, troops are sent to aid the Spanish against the Portuguese, and an invasion of the Dutch finally launched, to avenge the attack on Germany six years ago.
  • For Pita, Venezuela is getting Argentinian and Brazilian help and I have an alliance with Bulgaria, Argentina and Venezuela so he should get four points and me six, so I should have earned the war, he ... well, not lost that much land. Sine dei gloriem (talk) 15:19, September 14, 2012 (UTC)
  • Uhh ... does anyone think it's a good time for a new turn? Stewdio333 (talk) 06:48, September 15, 2012 (UTC)
  • Definitely

  • Japan: With the German invasion of Holland the Japanese finally put their plan into action and an army is dispatched to the Dutch East Indies to assist pro-independence and nationalist groups in the Dutch East Indies. The army lands in Sulawesi where they take the northern point of the island and the Great Japanese Imperial Navy is sent to deal with the Dutch royal navy and aid the Indonesian rebels by providing naval, air support and supply arms to the rebel groups. The army that has invaded the Dutch East Indies is a force of 400,000 and part of their mission is to train the rebel forces. The troops in China are increased to a stunning 8,000,000 troops as mass drafting is occurring back home. Scientists are spared from the draft and are instead conscripted into the biological and nuclear weapons programs which are each advancing nice but the nuclear program is facing some mild setbacks. The troops in China are slowly planning for a major offence that is meant to break the Chinese last defensive capacities, take the rest of the coastline and finally push into the Chinese interior. A new government is set up in Nanjing to control the Republic of China. It is, of course, a puppet regime but the new regime is granted greater freedoms than the OTL one was and the military refrains from harsh treatment of the population while raping of the populace is met with court martial. This ensures cooperation from the population. The government pushes forward the industrialization of Manchuria and further industrialization of the Japanese homeland and its territories. The Prefecture of Taihoku is slowly integrated into the rest of the empire. Four more Yamato class battleships are completed and more submarines are built. The general expansion of the navy and the army continues as the Japanese economy has now gone into full war economy. Aid is requested from Siam to aid the forces in the Dutch East Indies who are fighting to support independence movements.
    • You're supposed to support Holland because Holland is an American friend and Germany is an enemy and Japan and America are friends.
    • I'm a neutral power taking advantage of the western conflicts forming. I'm neither pro ally neither pro axis, besides I was planning to establish a free Indonesia within the next three years. Read my previous turns and you'll realize I was planning to intervene in the Dutch East Indies one way or another. Nkbeeching
    • German Response: Germany, although having no problem of the Japanese help to the Indonesians, would like to negotiate the splitting of the colony (it is us who are actually taking on their masters), and would like our two nations to negotiate.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction and Khāsāmi (คาซามิ) Tower is finally finished construction fully. The Bira International Circuit also continues construction. Meanwhile Prime Minister elections happen and Plaek Phibunsongkhram is elected. New Prime Minister Plaek Phibunsongkhram continues the former PM's policies. Siamese military continues to help the Japanese in the war against China. Soon more Siamese Military also begin to aid Indonesia rebellions and helping Japanese navy in the liberation of Indonesia from the Dutch rulers.
  • Argentina: The navy began to be increased and the Marines are prepared for a secret operation. After that the ultimatum is not heard. The battle of Santiago occurred and much of the city is leveled. A new plane is invented to replace the old one. A medium tank is also invented after the German engineer began to arrive at a level where many more advanced weapons can be developed. Research on missiles began to gain an advantage. Venezuela is given five of our new tanks along with many of our new aircraft designs in order to prepare their revenge against Colombia and retake the oil rich region.
  • Italy: Italy continues its invasion of France and asks for German forces to invade France and help take the pressure off Italy and Spain. Mass Bombings of France continue while more troops are flooded. 235,000 troops are now in Libya. 3,600 tanks are attached to the invasion force as well as 5,600 bombers and 8,000 fighter planes to help defend the colony.
  • Hungary: We thank the Germans for bringing down Czechoslovakia. Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pál Teleki, goes to Bratislava, to celebrate that the Hungarians will acknowledge the Republic of Slovakia's independence, and promises to protect the Slovak people. As stated before, the country is secretly a Puppet State We have been waiting for this for a long time. As we declare war on France, Hungary sends 200,000 soldiers, 800 tanks, 1,000 APV's, 80 bombers and 60 fighter planes to assist the Italians in the Invasion of France. As furious as Hungary is, the soldiers are told not to pillage and burn, saying that it only makes France angrier and more aggressive than they already are. There are reports of massacres, but not as bad as the situation in Poland currently, plus, Hungarian officials claim that they do not encourage war crimes. Almost hypocritically, prisoners in Hungary are being offered a pardon, that they can walk out of prison if they join the Royal Hungarian Army, which leads to 10,000 irregulars joining the active force. About 50,000 reserve soldiers are transferred to active, raising it from 150,000 to about 210,000 active soldiers. The combined total of the army (Active at Home, on the French Front and reserve), is about 810,000. Boys who hit 16 continue to be conscripted, but massive support for the nationalist state leads to few complaints. Those on Reserve are encouraged to take jobs in construction, or munition factories, until they are needed for their country. As a result of Germany's war against the Netherlands, we declare war on the Netherlands, as we offer any support to the Germans.
  • This game has devolved into ASB. We have way too many nations on the Axis side, Britain and France betraying alliance after alliance, and not fighting Germany. Correct yourselves comrades, or lose America! Nah, just kidding. But still, from no one, we will regard France as fighting Germany and its allies, and subsequently, also Norway and Denmark, and the UK and Czechoslovakia. Also, Italian and Hungarian numbers are way way too high, as are Spanish numbers.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union continues its nuclear program, and is currently doing well, and is based out of Moscow. Meanwhile, Soviet Poland is absorbed into the Soviet Union, and the Soviet Government begins to remove all evidence of the former Polish government. The Soviet Army continues to manufacture the T-34, as well as smaller light tanks. The Soviet Air Force reveals a new fighter that can compete with the German ME-109 and the British Spitfire. The Soviet Navy begins to expand its submarine fleet and a second aircraft carrier is constructed and launched in the Baltic. The Soviet Union SECRETLY prepares for a second invasion of Mongolia, as well as a possible invasion of Finland.
  • Venezuela realizes that its military is being backfired and goes on the defensive this time, using the environment to their advantage. They ask Ecuador to join Venezuela to form the new union of Gran Colombia (RNG PLEASE) to restore their old glory. They know Colombia is the only thing standing between them and reaching former glory, so it asks to participate in the war against Colombia. They ask for more help from Argentina and Brazil, but mostly Brazil.
    • Brazil D:We will help, but only if we get Amazonia and Vaupes departments of Colombia if we defeat, OK?
    • Argentina D: We already sent you some tanks and our newest planes design but I think we will send you what we can. (By the way, I have created a page for the Latin American Alliance so if we have anything more secret to discuss, the page is there)
  • France: Takes Sardinia from Italy and sends four million men to help the Dutch - also three French army groups invade Italy and 200 new prototype tanks - the ARL-44 - are sent to Italy and asks the British to help with a naval blockade of Germany and invade Italian Libya.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: Japan once again requests to purchase French Indochina and offers to personally deal with the rebels themselves.
    • French Dip: We will sell you the colony.
  • Korea: Korea continues to improve its military, focusing on high-tech, since they have limited numbers compared to their neighbors (USSR, China, Japan). They ask for an alliance with the UK and France.
  • My Random Negociation
Industrial heartlands keep producting at near-maximum levels, and new and better agricultural methods are put into play to increase yield and crop production. Many more tanks and aircraft are manufactured, with M-109s and M-110s numbering in the 1000s. The first batch of Tigers and Panthers fight it out in the Netherlands (secretly) and insure devastating damage while the aircraft causing havoc on retreating troops. The country is overrun within a few months and the French aid does nothing to the country. The Germans also gain Suriname and cannot decide what to do with it yet. The nuclear program gets many more "Aryan" scientists from the Netherlands. Many theories developed have helped put the German nuclear program on fast-track. The Polish language begins to be heard less and less in German-occupied Poland as restrictions begin to be discreetly put in place so that the Lithuanians do not notice yet. Propaganda leaflets continue to be dropped into Lithuania, and the Polish puppet government opens up talks with the Lithuanian government about uniting to create a neo-Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. They agree (using and the two countries are united. This leads to a larger area coming under German influence. On the Czech front, Sudetenland is incorporated into Germany and adopts German ways. In Czechland, the Germans stop the use of Czech altogether, and a law is passed which requires everybody under the age of 65 to learn German and speak it fluently. Penalties are made for not following the law, such as heavy fines. The autobahn begins to be extended into the Dutch lands and into Sudetenland. The populace is continously encouraged to enjoy their lives as well as support the country's troops. The Aryan baby boom reaches new heights as men return from their conquests victoriously. The army continues to grow and many new divisions are added.
    • To show I am not lying/cheating there is a screen shot. The numbers were 1-7 as a no and 8-10 as a yes.

  • Korea: Korea continues to amp up their military, as well as improve their interior. The efficiency of the Korean worker is unrivaled throughout the world, while receiving much less pay than most Western nations.
  • Argentina: continues to build up their industry and to invade Chile which is the plan to be finished this year (I hope). The support for the party is now almost complete and many people suspected of conspiring against the governments are arrested and put in camps in the southern desert. The research on missiles continue, the navy continues to see extensive research and expansion. Japan is asked for a trade agreement which would be good for both of us.
    • German Diplomacy: Germany secretly offers military aid for their good ally Argentina in any of their upcoming wars.
    • Argentina D: politely declines the offer (Is the algorithm nearly done? That made two turns that I invade Chile and I await the result)
  • Turkey: Turkey continues the expansion and development of the military, pushing the size of the armed forces to 1.25 million men, and plans to begin allowing women to fight in the army is considered. The government of Turkey has also announced that it shall join the side of the Axis powers, and orders the invasion of Greece with the hope of reaching the Western Front and aiding its allies in the invasion of France.
    • German Response: Germany opens its arms to Turkey as a new member and begins to aid the country in its war (this is funny because Turkey and Germany have throughout history have had good relations).
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. The Bira International Circuit also continues construction. Siamese military continues to help the Japanese in the war against China and also continue to aid Indonesia rebellions and helping Japanese navy in the liberation of Indonesia from the Dutch rulers.
  • Japan: Japanese forces begin flooding into southern China with the purchase of Indochina as the army begins building bases of operation and two fields are under construction. Fighting in China becomes more brutal by the day as the Chinese face the Japanese with increasing tenacity and the Japanese who are superior in equipment have no choice but to fight back inflicting huges casualties on both sides. Japanese forces in the Dutch East Indies are far more lucky as they are greeted as liberators in Indonesia as the coalition of Japanese-Indonesian-Siamese forces fight against the Dutch . (Keep in mind that while I am a friend of the USA and am on good terms with France and Great Britain my ultimate goal is economic dominance in East Asia and to create an alliance of Nations in East Asia. The war in Indonesia simply falls into place there) The government begins negotiating with the various nationalist groups in Indochina about a peaceful independence where all sides benefit in the transition. The Nuclear Program continues and makes a little progress since all the brightest minds in the country have been drafted into the project. The Japanese begin improving the national industry and trying to improve their technology to bring the nation up to standards. The continued production of firearms and vehicles of war continue in large amounts. Due to its alliance with France, Japan declares that full diplomatic support is given to France and the British Empire.
  • France: Wishes to create the European Union with any European nation that does not like the Axis powers and France accepts Korea's alliance request (also can someone create an algorithm for the Franco-Italian war?)
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Nuclear Program goes well, and is expected to be finished by the year 1943. The Soviet Air Force begins manufacturing its new fighter plane, and the research on designs of a high-altitude bomber continue. The Soviet Army continues to manufacture T-34's and the lighter T-25's. The Soviet Government SECRETLY sends aid to Germany and Italy. The Soviets begin to mass troops along the border of Mongolia, and offers the Mongolian a chance to surrender (RNG, please).
    • The Reason I picked 1943 for the end of my nuclear program, as it is five years from the time the program started in 1939. Five years was also the length of the Manhattan Project. Enclavehunter (talk) 15:08, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
    • (RNG, 1-7 no 8-10 yes) 8 yes
    • French D: France wishes for economic rights in Egypt.
  • Venezuela continues to defend itself from Colombia and agrees to the Brazilian deal. He sends scholars to Germany and Italy to learn military science and technology and how to implement it into the nation's military. They once again ask Ecuador for help (RNG PLEASE, I AM BEEN ASKING THIS SO LONG).
  • (RNG, 1-7 no 8 -10 yes) 2 no
  • Persia: As the Persian Army officially peaks at 250,000 men, Persia oficially condemns the Franco-Italian War, the Shah calling it a useless war, he also condemns Turkish Expansion. Production continues of the powerful tanks with slopes, making them unorthodox, easy to ram through other concrete objects, including other tanks, and have a powerful gun, being medium sized with special equipment it moves quickly through the mountains. The Shah oficially allows military personnel inside bunkers which wield small battalions with artillery and anti-aircraft, making small natural fortresses all over the country.
  • Hungary: The Government continues to send help to all Axis members at war, including Italy, Turkey and Sweden. While we are frustrated that Japan is supportive of France, we will keep the embassies open, until Japan declares war on Hungary, or any of our allies. The Slovaks, compared to the Czechs, are given more freedom than the other separated nation for the most part. However, Hungarian becomes an official language in the "Republic" of Slovakia, and is required when speaking diplomatically to Hungary, but Slovaks are permitted to speak their language in public for now. A new heavy tank is under development, with the designs sneaked out of Slovakia (it would've been for the Czechoslovak Army, being produced by Škoda Auto). The Turán III heavy tank is expected to be put into production, and will be ready for battle by 1942, with the first batch of 300 ready.
  • Brazil: It starts founding projects for the creation of heavier tanks and lighter airplanes to continue military campaigns against Peru later, and to continue its campaigns against Bolivia and Paraguay. Right now the current concern is to help the Venezuelan armies at Tachira, and a possible campaign take Cucuta and Leticia for Venezuela and Brazil respectively. The armies prepare themselves to strike and 40 airplanes initiate striking Southern Colombia mainly the air bombarding focused in Mitu and Leticia. Brazil condemns the attempts of Turkey to take over Greece, but this time we will await any movement from the Romanians and Bulgarians before we moving our troops. Argentina is asked to prepare their troops to take over Uruguay next year. If you haven't finished your conflict by then, we will aid you and if we can receive some land. Also on the map I would like that four percent I earned from Peru to connect me to a certain extent to the Pacific Ocean
    • Argentina D: Don't worry, our military shall have cleaned the country (I just await the result. How many people can do those algorithms?)
  • Italy: Italy continues its war with France and three sets of defensive lines are placed behind the front line in case Italy needs to fall back. Italy asks Turkey, Germany and Hungary to send some troops to Libya so an invasion of either Algeria or Egypt can take place. Italy asks Germany to INVADE FRANCE!!!!!
  • Germany: Industrial heartlands keep producing at near-maximum levels, and new and better agricultural methods are put into play to increase yield and crop production. Many more tanks and aircraft are manufactured, with M-109s and M-110s numbering in the 1000s. More Tigers and Panthers are readied for a new campaign, to sweep through the Ardens and attack France. The nuclear program gets many more "Aryan" scientists from the Netherlands. Many nuclear reactors are constructed as prototypes and Germay's program is also expected to be completed by 1943. The Polish and Lithuanian languagese are now banned from the Polish-Lituanian Commonweath, and German is made the official language. The law has begun to bear fruit in Czechland, and many people now can speak fluent German. Many people have been fined for trying not to learn the language, but people are still learning it. The autobahn has 100s of extra miles built into the Netherland and Sunderland. The populace is continously encouraged to enjoy their lives as well as support the country's troops. The Aryan baby boom reaches new heights as men return from their conquests victoriously. Many Dutch are encouraged to have more babies as well as they are classified as Aryans as well. Jews begin to be moved to Suriname as the colony is not in use. It is a great way to get all the Jews out of Germany. The army becomes more sophisticated and an invasion into Belgium is carried out. The attack is swift and the army wins battles after battles. Using the gap in in the Maginot Line, Germany invades France.

  • Korea: Korea condemns the Turkish invasion and continues to amp up their military and their interior. The navy continues to be commissioned, and plans are made for a possible aircraft carrier. It is also recognized for the first time, that battleships are no longer the power-projector that they used to be, and that the new king of the seas is the airplane and carrier. They don't build any battleships.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. The Bira International Circuit also finishes construction and the first race event will be held later in the year. Siamese military continues to help the Japanese in the war against China.
  • France: bombs a naval base near Rome the next day the French 1st army takes Rome in three weeks (France is also secretly working on a new breed of super soldiers). France also wants to train the Korean army to French standards.
    • For the love of God, STOP! I'm not a mod, but this is completely unacceptable. Let's take your unauthorized attack on Rome out of the question first. Super-soldiers?! Excuse me? These people didn't even know how the atom worked, and you expect them to know how to tamper with genetics? This isn't Captain America, this is World War II for Christ's sake. Now, back to the invasion. No algorithm was done at all, which means you've got no right to be in Rome in the first place. France had a large military, but so did Italy, and given that you need to get past their fortifications in the Alps, you're not going to be in Rome for several years. Remember, it took the combined might of the Allies two years to reach Rome from Sicily. You're all by yourself in Italy, and unlike OTL, Italy's forces are focused on the European front, with you. ~Viva
  • Turkey: The government orders the invasion of French Syria with 275,000 troops, and the reconquest of the former Ottoman territory. Many citizens view the invasion as a war of regaining the might of the old empire, and seek to reunify their Muslim brothers under the future empire. Also given the exploitation of the Syrian homeland under the French, many view the invasion as a moral question, and one that must be answered with force. Also, the invasion of Greece continues with a full frontal assault to take the capital.
  • Japan: Forces continue the push into central China as well as taking most of the coastline. Japanese forces continue facing increasing resistance and are forced to recruit more men. Thousands of dead continue to be reported in the newspapers and the war is slowly becoming far more bitter and many Japanese start hating the Chinese that are causing the loss of thousands of fellow countrymen. The intervention in the East Indies continues as the Japanese begin concentrating on establishing a central government there while fighting remnants of the Dutch forces and groups that wish for Japan out of the islands, Japanese request that more troops be sent by Siam to help with the situation so that Japan may focus on the China campaign. Negotiations with the nationalist groups continue in Indochina and a promise of aid to Japan is secured in exchange for true independence within the next 15 years. Industry is expanded and brought up to better technological standards. The Nuclear Program continues and finally a breakthrough is made in getting a reaction but a lot more work is still ahead and it will be until 1944 at the earliest that a nuclear bomb is produced. Studies into rocket technology begin based on the theories of German scientists.
  • Soviet Union: Research into nuclear power continues and research begins on rocket technology which will be finished by 1944. With the surrender of Mongolia last turn, Soviet forces enter the country and divide Mongolia into a series of nations. The Soviet Union SECRETLY sends military support to Turkey against French Syria. The Soviet Air Force finishs its designs of a high-altitude bomber, and construction begins on the first model of the plane. The Soviet Navy halts its naval expansion and instead, begins research into seaplanes and anti-ship weapons.
  • Finland improves infrastructure across the nation, along with building a series of fortresses in strategic locations throughout the nation. Asks for an alliance and trade pact with Sweden.
    • Hungarian Diplomacy: Since the Finnish are aligning with Sweden, a member of the Axis, we would like to welcome the Finnish to the Axis Powers. Together we can finally change Europe into a better place.
    • Swedish Response: We agree to the alliance and trade pact, and also request you join the Axis to gain a wealth of trade with all of the members.
  • Hungary: We celebrate Sweden's success against Norway, as Hungarian soldiers celebrate with their Swedish allies. 250,000 soldiers in the Reserve are to be moved to active (all Hungarians, we don't want to pull from the Slovak Reserve yet), so that 150,000 soldiers to assist the Turkish in invading Syria, along with 80 bomber planes, 400 tanks, and 500 APV's. This leaves the Reserves at 450,000, while the Active Force at home is raised from 105,000 to 205,000. The numbers are not announced in the public news in case the Romanians hear about this, and attempt another invasion.
  • Venezuela continues to defend itself from Colombia and agrees to the Brazilian deal. He sends scholars to Germany and Italy to learn military science and technology and how to implement it into the nation's military. They once again ask Ecuador for help or else when Colombia is done, it will invade it with the help of Brazil. Also, they must join the country when Colombia is done. (RNG PLEASE, I AM BEEN ASKING THIS SO LONG).
    • (RNG, 1-7 no 8 -10 yes) 2 no
  • Italy: Italian forces annex the land gained from France and all French there are granted basic rights as Italians. Italian troops launch another invasion of France and flood it with a total of 385,000 troops and 6,500 tanks as well 8,000 fighters and 6,000 bombers. Also an Italian invasion of Corsica is launched with the Italian navy blockading the island while Italian troops land on its eastern coast and begin to struggle to take the island. Both Italian Somalilands ar united as the Italian colony of Eritrea. Jubiliation occurs when the news of Germany invading France reaches Rome, and Mussolini sends 4,500 bottles of the best Italian wine to Hitler. In a speech Mussolini states " The dark days of the war are over, with the invasion of France by our great allies Germany and Spain, our victory is assured and a new European Order will take place, Hail the AXIS!!!"
    • Where are you getting those numbers? I've never heard of those...
    • Those numbers are rather spot on. With no invasion of Ethiopia, Italy has 400,000 troops free to fight in France. Plus, with low-intensity fighting in Libya, that's another 250-300,000 troops, too. OTL Italy had tons of troops to throw around, most of them were just poorly-equipped. ~Viva
    • No. I mean the tens of thousands of planes.
  • Sweden: We Swedes would like to thank Hungary, Germany and Italy for their tremendous help with the Swedish-Nordic War (now commonly known to ultra-nationalists as the First War For The Empire) and generals have discussed for little time, but gained almost full Swedish government support for the movement of more troops to the Nordic-Swedish border to gain more of a diplomatic edge on Norway and welcomes the alliance and trade pact with Finland. King Gustav V of Sweden sends a telegram to Germany, politely asking for Germany to perhaps soften their treatment of the Jewish people. Sweden sends requests to buy planes from Germany, the Soviet Union and Italy, and also asks Axis nations that in exchange for any spare generals to help train Swedish troops, Sweden would be happy to provide extra iron ore and money to the nation. Sven Lindholm holds a speech with many Swedes in attendance and the speech is broadcast over the radio. Ultra-Nationalists criticize the Swedish government for not completely annexing Norway outright and threaten the government, but no details were given by the Ultra-Nationalists.
  • Germany: Says it was no problem helping fellow ally Sweden in their war. Industrial heartlands keep producing at near-maximum levels, crop yield has seemed to increase in a large way. Many more tanks and aircraft are manufactured, with M-109s and M-110s numbering in the thousands. The first Secret Prototype He-162s take to the air to see if a war advantage could be found in jets. The nuclear program gets many more "Aryan" scientists from Belgium and France. Many nuclear reactors start up and the first bomb theories are tested. Many people in the Polish-Lithuania Commonwealth carry out protests, but these are all brutally put down. Many members of the populace have been learning German well, however, and people are fined if they do not. The fines have helped pay for many things as fine revenues are high. In Czechland, even more people have learned the new language. The autobahn construction into the Sunderland and Netherlands has been successful and tanks can now use those routes successfully. The populace is continously encouraged to enjoy their lives as well as support the country's troops, and the party-going spirit catches on in the Netherlands and other new areas of the German Reich. Many blond haired-blue eyed people have been born and research begins to be put in on why all whites cannot be Aryans (first investigation into genetics). Many Dutch are encouraged to have more babies as well as they are classified as Aryans as well. Hundreds of thousands of Jews are being transported to Suriname so they can serve the empire and stay out of Germany's way. It is still a great way to get all the Jews out of Germany. Panthers and Tigers perform great in France, sweeping through many areas of the country.

  • Korea: Korea condemns the Swedish invasion of Norway, but doesn't do anything about it. Korea continues to amp up their military, which is very strong, although not as strong as the world powers. Korea also continues to plan their new aircraft carrier.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese formally invite Korea to join the EATSP and offer to open the nuclear program to Korea in exchange for access to Korea’s Uranium deposits.
    • Korean Diplomacy: Korea accepts the Japanese invite.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. The Bira International Circuit holds the first race event this year. The Thai National Racing League begins to hold the race event yearly, and welcomes Japanese drivers as well. Siamese military continues to help the Japanese in the war against China.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese officially accept the offer and will participate in the competition. The Japanese also offer to begin funding Thai industrial growth and open up the nuclear program to Siam. In exchange they request that Japanese businesses be allowed to open in Siam freely.
    • Siam Diplomacy: Prime Minister Plaek Phibunsongkhram happily allows Japanese businesses to be opened in Siam freely.
  • Japan: The forces fighting in Indonesia help rebels establish a provisional government in Jakarta and slowly help them expand their control to the other islands, with the major objectives being the oil fields in Sumatra and Borneo to bring an oil producing nation into the EATSP. Fighting in China continues to grow ever more brutal as both sides become more aggressive and it seems that the Civil war in China has paused as the Communists and Nationalists have began fighting together. This leads the Japanese high command to increase the aggressiveness of their tactics creating concentration camps to separate the populace from the war so that a guerrilla war can be avoided and the Japanese continue pushing towards their objectives in Central China with Siamese support. The government sponsors an upgrade to the fighter jets and the bombers of the Imperial Navy favoring the Zero design and more funds are put into radar to help better the navy. The Nuclear program continues and some more advances is made. They begin building a new submachine gun to support the T-35 design. A more efficient light tank is designed to replace the older ones and support the heavy tortoise tank and production begins. A newer Arisaka design is being made to create a semi-automatic rifle to slowly improve the Japanese weaponry. More submarines are made and three more aircraft carriers are commissioned along with two more battleships.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union finishes its division of Mongolia, and incorporates the former country into the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union continues to research into its nuclear program, and expects for it to be done by 1947. The Soviet Navy increases expansion in the Pacific and Baltic Region, but will end its naval expansion by 1942. The Soviet Air Force begins manufacturing its first high-altitude bomber, and a faster monoplane to combat with the Spitfires and ME-109. The Soviet Union asks to establish closer relations with its southern neighbor (Japan) and its overseas neighbors (US and Canada).
  • Turkey: The Turkish government demands that France immediately cede Syria to them or they will order the continuation of their invasion. The development of the economy is continued, and several new ports are opens in the Turkish cities in the Ionian Ocean. The Turks continue their invasion of Greece, and draft 75,000 men for the fight. The government announces that it will pass a law in 1942 authorising the drafting of women into the military for non-combat roles. The navy unders expansion with the goal of allowing Turkey to project its power overseas.
  • Argentina: The military researchs bear fruit and a new planes is introduced while a chopper prototype begun to be test, it is only moade for recon missions. A navy expansion is also ordered and an aircraft carrier began to be researched to complete the navy arsenal and prepare an eventual landing on the Falkland in the case of the UK defeat. A trade deal and non-aggression pact is ask to the United States to be sure that we will keep good relation. The military forces are order to prepare a revenge war against Chile.
  • Moscow is destroyed by an air raid from an unknown nation. Stalin was killed, and Trotsky, who survived ATL, comes back to the USSR. The Stalinists and Trotskyites enter a fierce civil war, halting Soviet support for the Axis and also providing that the Western citites of Stalingrad and Leningrad are Trotskyist, and the Stalinists have to fend themselves off in the eastern areas, taing Novosibirsk as their capital. The Turk states take this as their golden oppotunity for independence. Troops outside the Union have to take sides, so most join up with the Wehrmacht in terms of fighting, some take up the cause of the Allies, and several abandon the war. Meanwhile, the Mexicans want to join the Axis if they will help Mexico conquer Central America and the Caribbean.
    • Um, not trying to start an argument, but I don't see this happening, unless some country hired Soviet pilots to turn on the motherland and attack Moscow. How can a bombing raid, get over Moscow, let alone dropping ordnance on it, while it is surrounded by the Soviet Union and the Soviet Air Force. The only suspect would be the Germans to do it, as the Japanese, Turks, and Americans have no bombers that are capable of flying this far, yet. Enclavehunter (talk) 04:30, September 23, 2012 (UTC)
    • No, American bombers can definitely pull it off, if they take off from Calais or Britain. As the Turks, I would say that they have a fair chance of doing it if they take one man flights from the Black Sea over the USSR, shooting down Soviets cities and planes as they go. Japs are out. US denies any involvement, as we are not in the war yet, and Japanese are too far away. Face it, Turkey or Germany has decided to betry, or someone is training Soviet traitors.
    • I'm fairly certain that it cannot be an "unknown nation", as there would be at least SOME planes shot down. For Moscow to be completely destroyed, you'd need thousands of planes, and some would be shot down. Although I doubt this could happen in the first place. -Pita
    • Not completely destroyed. More like an air raid over Moscow, and Stalin happened to get caught in the fire.
    • i find the idea of an unknown nation impossible plans have insignias of what nation they belong to plus they would be coming from a certain direction that would make the idea of who was it was easier. No way that the Soviet soldiers would betray their country. The civil war part isn't impossible, though. All in all this sounds a lot like Pearl Harbor. It was done by someone and it wouldn't be a secret giving the fact that plans would be shot down by anti-air defences and it would easy to determine who did it from there. Also, isn't the western border of the U.S.S.R. one of the most armed in the world? Nkbeeching
    • Let's clear this up: it's Turkey, Germany or Britain. They've disguised their planes as Soviet planes. The End.
  • The US grows weary with the Mexican threat looming to the south, but is secretly glad the Soviets are temporarily out of commission. Several cities begin to meet fleeing Soviets, particularly on the West Coast. Draft starts, military buildup begins because everyone is starting to get scared.
  • Venezuela sees Mexico as a good ally, though pursued it not to anger the US as it will ruin their plans. Meanwhile, they ask Spain and Italy for an alliance and trade agreements (RNG PLEASE). They also continue to wear Colombia down, liberating what the Colombians held and begin pushing towards the capital. The defenses are rebuilt and people that are unemployed are automatically brought to the army. With the Brazilians at their back, Colombia is in a losing position.
    • Argentina D: Argentina propose to Venezuela and Brazil to invite Mexico to join the Latin American confederation as a full member. Mexico is told to keep good relations with the American as it would be crush.
  • Italy: the invasion of France continues with successfully well all in conquered by Italian soldiers is annexed by the Empire. Italy continues its military buildup. Italy also adds 200,000 more soldiers to the front and invasion is ordered to continue until the French surrender.
  • Hungary: As the war continues in France, the Royal Hungarian Army grows its reserves. The surviving 49,000 soldiers from the Swedish-Nordic War are sent home for rest and future training. Worried by Soviet support stopping, due to Civil War, Hungarians try to stay out of the conflict until necessary, worried that it might side with the enemy, like Romania, France or the U.K. The Slovak Armed Forces are fused into the Hungarian Military.
  • Brazil: Continue its offensive in colombia and Peru, and prepares bombardings on Bogota, Pasto, Lima and Cuzco, while in celebration, in the Colombian city of Leticia, the state of Uaupes is Formed centered in the conquered regions of the Colombian and Peruvian nations, the army is preparing itself for the other invasions to the other Intended regions to take over, i agree with the invitation as full member of Mexico to the Confederation, The Leader Getulio Vargas see's a better plan, to develop a fleet as powerfull as the ones of the europeans, for this we ask support from the Germans and Italians to help us develop a stronger naval and if possible to help us in a future nuclear program (maybe near 1945- 1950) the bombarding of Buenaventura from Colombia and the coastal cities of Peru to cause economical damages.

  • Korea: Korea continues to amp up their military, as well as the interior. The economy of Korea is rising rapidly, based mostly on the export business. The navy is also especially strong, with the aircraft carrier ROKS Goryeo almost finished.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: Japan requests that Korea provide troops to the war in China.
  • Japan: Begins increasing their spying in East Asia to see what is happening in other areas of the region and to help influence future events. The Japanese forces begin pushing more into China with their numbers now totaling 13,000,000. The body count keeps rising for both sides and Japan decides that they need the nuclear bomb to bring a quick and decisive end to the war, they open the project to Siam and Manchuria to help speed up the program and to provide the research to their allies. The war in Indonesia is going well as most of eastern Indonesia is under Nationalist-coalition forces control along with the island of Java which will become the centre of the new state, a planned invasion of Sumatra and Borneo is planned to bring the oil provinces under nationalist control. The industry continues to expand and the integration of the Taihoku prefecture continues. The industrialization of Indochina continues and a final deal is finally worked out with rebels, Tonkin will remain a Japanese territory and military zone while parts of Cambodia and Laos which were traditionally Siamese will be returned to Siam, the rest of the territory is reorganized into The Kingdom of Indochina under the crown of the royal house of Vietnam the capital will be Saigon, and is made a full member of the EATSP. The nation becomes a puppet state similar to Manchuria. The fighting in China reaches the limits of Inner Mongolia in the north and the Longgong Caves in the south. Contingency plans are made to make sure the Soviet internal conflict that is picking up doesn't spill over into Manchuria while plans are made to possibly intervene and seize certain territories but no actions will be dealt for the moment and they remain plans for the moment.
  • Argentina: Mexico is invited in the confederation (RNG please). The government also order the development of an aircraft carrier and a submarine begun with many engineer hire across the world. Chile is again invaded to regain the lost land and gain more if possible, Brazil is asked for support. The USA are told that we could easily improve our relation if you threat Latin America as an equal partner, a trade deal is proposed with the restriction that we both retrieve benefit from it.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet High Command under the leadership of Leon Trotsky meet in Leningrad to discuss their current situation. Trotsky offically assumes leadership of the Soviet Union, and immeaditly moves parts of the Red Army along the western border with Germany and the southern border with Turkey and the eastern border with Japan. The Soviet High Command announce that the air raid was not the Americans or Japanese, which leads to the Soviet people believe that the Germans, British, or Turks were the cause of the air raid. Despite the air raid, progress with the nuclear program continues, and is now sped up to prepare a weapon that could destroy Berlin, London, or Istanbul in a flash. The nuclear weapon is expected to be done by 1945 at the least. Meanwhile, Trotsky offers amnesty for any Russian who is currently in the ranks of the Stalinists or the pro-Trotsky should they lay down their arms. This starts to work, as violence begins to slowly drop, but will not end. Trotsky SECRETLY asks the United States to join the USSR in an invasion of Germany. Trotsky also SECRETLY extends this offer to Britain and France.
    • The United States would agree, but the people would revolt if America got into a war without provocation or an attack on the homeland. (Listen, if Mexico attacks America, I will take up your offer because then I will be under attack.) However, since the Soviet threat is somewhat gone, the Americans begin to pull troops out of Alaska.
  • The Finns feel surrounded by Imperialist Sweden and the aggressive USSR, so they decide to join the Allied Powers and invade Sweden. Meanwhile Ireland begins a revolt against the UK. Elements of the vanquished Republican Spain make a massive comeback into Spain and begin rebelling against the current governments. Catalans, feeling caught up between too many warring nations, begins to demand independence from Spain. Mexico joins the Axis and invades Belize and Guatemala simultaneously.
  • The United States is absolutely sure now that Mexico is a threat and begins a draft, and some troops being brought back from Alaska are stationed along the Mexican border. The Pacific fleet is on high alert. President Roosevelt is interested in taking up the Soviet offer, but he knows the American people will be enraged if America joins the war.
    • Scraw, please don't do that kind of crap as moderator, I'm fairly certain that Mexico will NOT join the Axis, much less invade those nations ...
    • Actually I thought about it and then decided that it was more or less plausible. If it joins the Axis, Britain is an immediate enemy and so British Honduras would be an easy, reasonable target.
  • Venezuela tries to get the Mexicans and Americans to resolve their differences for the good of the Western Hemisphere. Meanwhile, in Venezuela, the country continues to tire the Colombian troops while the Brazilians attack them at their weakest points. They ask the USA for help in its conquests. They also declare the bombing of Bogota, surrounding the city with warplanes. They do major damage to the city and destroy the very epicenter of Colombia, it will not take long to destroy all civil order in Colombia and take control of the city.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: the high command seeing the increasingly desperate situation in South America and the possibility that it will have to destabilizing Japanese trade with the region and the all important canal zone requests that colombia and Venezuela resolve their conflict through diplomacy and that a status quo anti bellum be established. should the conflict continue Japan will diplomaticly support the victimised nation.
  • Hungary: Fears rise, as the Soviet Union appears to be aligning against the Axis. This put plans to invade Romania to a bloody halt, on fears that they may join the Soviets. Nonetheless, the country is in an Alliance with Germany, and is outraged that the Soviets may join the British and French, and bring the Americans in to invade the almighty Axis Powers. At the same time, we welcome Mexico into the Axis, knowing how they feel with Americans taking their land, similar to what Romania did to us, we symphasize with the Mexicans. Also, we send a diplomatic offer to Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil to form a worldwide Axis, rather than join the Americans, and offer to reopen relations between Hungary and Brazil. Upon hearing of a revolt breaking out in Spain, we offer to send soldiers and planes over to protect the Fascist government from being overtaken by the Republicans. In order to not encourage the Romanians to aligning with the Soviet Union, in the city of Nagyvárad (formerly the city of Oradea), short films made of the city are sent over to the Romanian Embassy in Berne, Switzerland, showing the Romanians that their people in Occupied Territory are taken well care of. However, in reality, there is a tight grip on the city. The Romanian language is banned in public, and all schools are required to teach Hungarian as the first language. Only those who pledge allegience to the Kingdom of Hungary are permitted to receive half the food and supplies that Hungarians receive, those who refuse are murdered or put into slavery. 40,000 soldiers are stationed in Nagyvárad, to prevent the news of these atrocities, along with threat of death sentences to any who squeal, on charges of Treason. Inspired by German Concentration Camps, Concentration Camps begin being built all over Hungary and Slovakia.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. Siamese military continues to help the Japanese in the war against China and also help liberate Indonesia as well.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: Following negotiations with Indochina nationalists, Japan and subsequantly the Kingdom of Indochina cedes Battambang, Siam Nakhon, Champasak, all land up to the Mekong River, Sisophon, Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and Siam Reap, and Siam Pang along with associated provinces (aproximately 13) to Siam.
  • France: surrenders due heavy losses and lack of soldiers, we invite Germany and Italy to discuss surrender terms
    • Italy accepts the surrender, and states Italy wants none of French Europe, only Algeria. If France cedes Algeria Italy will recede all other demands for territroy. France will be allowed to retain joint control of Algeirs as well to encourage friendship.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese government demands that the French government should it change respect the sale of Indochina to Japan and recognize the new state that has been established out of the former colony.
    • Turkish D: Turkey demands that Syria be given to them, and that th French citizens there vacate the region.
    • French D: will give italy algeria and give syria to turkey also France becomes Fascist and would like a military alliance with Italy, Germany and Turkey.

  • Korea: After careful consideration, the Korean High Council agrees to provide support in the campaign against China. However, it is minimal. The aircraft carrier is finally finished, and is fitted with some obsolete planes. They begin to develop the OTL equivalent of the Hellcat, the next generation of the Wildcat. Dive bombers also begin production. Construction of another aircraft carrier commences.
  • Italy accepts France's request and opens up normal relations with French Empire.
  • Implausogasm has been removed.
  • Argentina: Continue to invade Chile and successfully push them back out of our land. Santiago and the Chilean Air Force field begun to be bomb to crush the Chilean moral and gain the control of the sky. The first aircraft carrier is also begun to be build and seven other are plan. The naval shipyards are ordered to be expanded to increase the production. Japan and the rest of the world are told that the Latin American confederation is not a threat to anyone and that we are ready to trade with it if both partners are winner in the trade pact.
    • Brazil:We will gladly help into taking over the Chileans in the near future, we will later deal with Bolivia, Ecuador and Uruguay
  • Turkey: The Turkish government demands swift progress in Syria from the military, while generals attempt to focus on Greece as well. The Western Army makes gains in Greece, and pushes ever deeper in its effort to take Athens, while the Southern Army is moving slowly toward Damacus. The navy receives its first carrier, aptly named the TNS Ataturk. It is deemed the flagship of the New Turkish Armada based out of Istanbul. The government orders its immediate deployment to the Greek front to aid in the fight for that country.
  • Japan: The zero fighters are improved and distributed in mass amounts to replace old planes. The China campaign is pushing forward and the military begins attempting to link all the areas that are under occupation while dealing with the increasing guerrilla forces. The concentration camps are expanded and entire cities are now going to be used to store the populace and separate them from the war. The Chinese are not brutalized as in OTL but they are herded into the camps like cattle being beaten or at worst shot if they resist. The fighting in China continues to worsen as both sides refuse to back down, aerial and artillery bombardment increase dramatically, while the high command considers using biological weapons it is ruled out and after hearing of the types of experiments carried out by unit 731 the program is closed down and a new one under strict supervision is made. The Invasion of Sumatra and Borneo are launched and they meet little resistence. Most troops in Indochina are re-sent to Tonkin now an imperial Territory aid is sent to improve the economy of the new state of Indochina. The nuclear program continues and reaches impressive stages thanks to the joint cooperation and large amount of resources available to the project. Industrialization is continued in earnest.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. Siamese military continues to help the Japanese in the war against China and also help liberate Indonesia as well. Prime Minister Plaek Phibunsongkhram establishes new provinces for the newly gifted territories from Japan, and thanks them.
  • Italy: The invasion of France continues and more trroops are added to the front. Bombings of France continue while Corsica is annexed.
  • France: wishs for a ceasefire with the Axis because we think this war is pointless. Also, five fasicts win seats in the French congress. Also Charles De Gaulle's son, Charles De Gaulle the 2nd, is running against him for president. Propaganda campaigns show that Charles the 2nd will win. Charles the 2nd plans to ally himself wih the Axis powers.
    • Just ask for a ceasefire, they'll strike it if you ask for alliance because they don't want to lose.
    • Italy accepts the ceasefire and asks for Algeria and Tunisia. If these are accepted Italy will return Corsica and all of European France.
    • Why not go with the pro-axis general Phillipe Petain, who established Vichy France in OTL. BTW, most of France was decisively anti-Axis - not anti-Fascist, but anti-Axis. Nkbeeching
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union continues to mass the Red Army along the border with Germany and Turkey. The Soviet Nuclear Program continues and is at full steam, with a nuclear weapon planned to be finished by 1945. Research continues into rockets, and a new tank is being developed for the Soviet Army.
    • Turkey: Why are the Soviets building up a military presence near Turkey? Does Supreme Soviet think us blind?
  • Hungary: With the current crisis going on, the Soviets threatening Germany and Turkey, the two main sources of oil for Hungary, we refuse to buy oil in protest from the Soviets. Leading to a crisis that threatens to cripple the country. King Horothy and the Prime Minister secretly head to Berlin, to ask Adolf Hitler for Hungary and Slovakia to become protectorates of Germany. This news is kept private, to fear a potential uprising in the country. What oil is left, becomes rationed for military and defense purposes, which causes the Turan III heavy tank to decrease from 300 in operation, to 125, which are put on the Hungarian-Romanian border, in case Romania teams up with the Soviet Union to invade the country. Plans for the Turan IV super-heavy tank is put on hold, due to the current crisis.
  • I resign as Hungary, due to current timing issues, that may make it impossible to play this game most of the time. I thank everyone on this Wiki for three months of fun, I'm going to miss everyone here. I was planning to leave, even before I found out what was happening with the Soviet Union, so I'm just fitting this in with current events. As stated, I give control of Hungary and Slovakia to Germany's player, if he wants it. (He probably does.) Stewdio333 (talk) 03:37, September 26, 2012 (UTC)

    RandomWriterGuy (talk)

  • I'll believe it when I see it, RWG. And Stew, how could thoust leaveth us? Thou art but a new user!

  • I agree. WHY? D:>

  • Sorry, but it's timing issues. I can barely access the Wiki, due to circumstances beyond my control. I had a lot of fun, and I really don't want to go, but I don't have the free time with any computer to do this with. Maybe I'll return in the future, who knows. • Brazil: With an army they continue their support to the Venezuelan, and Argentinian conflicts, the armies continue to march on Peru, while the republic ask an alliance with Italy and Germany and their help onto building up a new military to take more control of Southamerica
    • Argentina D: Proposes a vote from the Latin American confederation about an alliance with the Axis.
    • Brazil: We agree.

Great Britain declares their support for France and lands the British Expeditionary Force in France. Neville Chamberlain is forced to resign and Winston Churchill takes office. The Royal Navy also blockades the port of Narvik in the hopes of stopping iron shipments to Germany. Great Britain also lands forces in Norway.

Taking advantage of the chaos of Europe, radicals in Saudi Arabia break away from the British Empire, forming the Islamic Caliphate of Arabia. However, fighting breaks out between the more liberal revolutionaries and the extreme ones. The extreme revolutionaries take control of EASTERN Arabia, which has oil deposits, while the liberals take control of WESTERN Arabia, with the holy sites of Mecca and Medina. This leads to a strange situation where each side wants the others side more. Warfare breaks out as groups from both sides clash regularly. Casualties, both military and civilian go up to the thousands.

  • Korea: Korea continues to produce aircraft carriers and aircraft. The Hellcat is finished, and begins mass production in factories. Meanwhile, the interior continues to be improved. They also ask the Soviet Union to provide them with more tanks.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese propose that a security council be made with in the EATSP with Japan, Korea and Siam being the leaders within it to discuss matters regarding east asia and its security. Japan also requests that Korean soldiers take part in a series of joint military exercises to help restore relations between the two countries.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. Siamese military continues to help the Japanese in the war against China and also help liberate Indonesia as well. Meanwhile Surakiart Phathanothai (who's influenced by Japanese drawings and such) creates a มังงะ (manga) called โทโฮจิเร็ยเด็น (Subterranean Animism) and features โคเมย์จิ โคอิชิ (Khoxichi Khomey̒ci/Koishi Komeiji) as the main character.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: The Japanese propose that a security council be made with in the EATSP with Japan, Korea and Siam being the leaders within it to discuss matters regarding east asia and its security. Japan also begins increasing its financial support to Siamese industrialization to help bring up the production levels of its main ally. (and apart from Korea the only non-puppet regime XD in the EATSP.)
    • Siam Diplomacy: Prime Minister Plaek Phibunsongkhram agrees with the creation of the Security Council creation.
  • Great Britain: invades China to help out Japan also we launch a naval blockade on Germany and the 1st Churchill tanks are sent to aid the French and asks Japan if they want 200 new Churchill tanks later this year.
    • Implausogasm deleted, and Warman you cannot be two nations.
  • Italy: The invasion of France continues and more trroops are added to the front. Bombings of France continues while more gains are made in France, taking Marleiles and Orleans.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union continues work on its nuclear program and is now fast paced in order to deliver a powerful punch to Germany. The Soviet Union continues to research into rockets, as well as armoured plating carriers. The Soviet Army begins to SECRETLY prepare for an invasion of Germany or Turkey.
  • Argentina: the government is shocked to lose a second war against Chile and tell the people that Chile was the one who started the war and that the military of Argetina succesfully push them out of the territory. Brazil is congratulate for its victory and Venezuela is congratulate as well( what happen on the map with Columbia or Venezuela, they were defeat?). The first carrier of Argentina, although being low level compared to the rest of the world, is launched and

another is field along with many other naval vessels. What advantage have Chile, it is only its mountain or what?

    • Venezuela was losing in the first place, and after RWG left, I just had Venezuela win. They'll pull out soon, but Colombia will not be a "rump state" of Venezuela. Also, you need to post turns about creating an aircraft carrier. They take a long time to build. Also, Chile has advantage in motive and location, as well as tactical advantage.
  • Japan: Troops begin dealing with resistence movements throughout occupied China and more efficient anti-guerrilla tactics are designed and put into practice. with the East Indies liberated the "Independent nation" of the Republic of Indonesia is established and Japanese engineers begin helping the nationalist regime establish a productive oil industry but it will take at least a year to restore the former Dutch instalations, also a naval and military base will be built within the islands to as part of the EATSP mission to maintaining stabily in the islands. Tonkin is declared an overseas territory of the Japanese empire and a naval base is created on the coastline. The economy of the EATSP begins to grow with its new members and the access to new natural resources. Money is put into the industrialization of the organization. The air forces are now being updated. studies into radar and rockets continues along with the now fullfledged nuclear program called the Hiroshima instituition for atomic research, the first nuclear bomb will be ready by the end of 1945 or the beginning of 1946. Plans to continue the push into China are halted until the supply lines can be re-established. Two puppet governments are set up one in Northern China known as the Republic of North China with a capital of Beijing, and the second set up around the city of Nanjing called the Nanjing Regime, both filled with pro-Japanese political groups but large freedoms are granted to each government. The bio-weapons program is turned into a bio warfare defence program to avoid violations of treaties Japan has signed, and members of the League of Nations are invited to inspect the program, but documents of experimentation carried out by the former unit 731 are burned and the leading members of the unit returned to Japan and put on the Ministry of Health. Elections are held and the Conservative Faction take power (both the liberal and conservative coalition are part of the same circle that is allied with the leaders of the 1934 Coup. And both are aligned with the Zaibatsu the dominate the EATSP economy) with the liberal and progress party forming the oposition. The communist and socialist parties are once again barred from taking part in the elections and are still persucuted by the strongly nationalistic imperial government.
  • Cuba: The military is expanded, especially the navy. More Communist and Fascist exiles arrive in Cuba.
  • The United States continues its nuclear weapon program under the guidance of Albert Einstein, J. Robert Oppenheimer, Leo Szilard, and Edward Teller. Meanwhile the United States remains neutral in the current war but shifts its focus to only sell arms and supplies to the Allies and Japan, and many independent merchants sell to the Trotskyists. Tension grows in government for fear of events across the pond, and many people, although a minority, but a large minority, begin to demand war. All sales with Germany, Italy, Turkey, or any other Axis nation except Japan is strictly forbidden, and any incoming goods from those nations are heavily taxed if not fully emargoed.

A Nazi agent is arrested in Washington, DC, where plans are found on him on the assassination of President Roosevelt.

Fighting continues viciously in Arabia.

  • Korea: Korea continues to produce military hardware, as well as stabilize their interior. Military help continues to be sent to China.
  • The United States is shocked at this recent attempt and moreover, shocked that Germany would attempt such a thing. Several hardcore Democrats and even some Republicans begin demanding a war, but the President insists that America cannot if the people do not want it. Furthermore, no one was harmed although any good relations with Germany at all are henceforth gone, destroyed, obsolete, and non-existent. An anti-socialism (specifically Fascist socialism and not Communist socialism) comes to be and it it spreads through the nation like a wildfire. Several people suspected to be Nazis or open Nazis or suspected socialists or open socialists or suspected fascists or open fascists and caught and killed by mobs and mostly lynched or flogged. (I know, ouch.) The government denounces these actions. However, the nuclear weapons program proceeds faster and faster because the government now feels on the defensive, and lots of politicians do not go anywhere without armed guards and refuse to enter unprotected settings. Meanwhile, lots of anti-German and anti-Italian riots spring up, especially in New York where lots of unmarried German or Italian men are lynched.
  • Argentina: The work on the carrier continue and a massive modernisation of the infrastructures begun all across the nation. The first highway begun to be build to link the major cities, many smaller cities and to make the travel in Patagonia easier both for the citizens and the military. The air force is increased in size and the government begins to fund a car industry to provide cars to the population. An engineer also proposes Brazil and Venezuela to link our territory with a Latin American railwail to facilitate our military operation and improve efficiency of the supply transport.
  • Brazil D: agrees in the Latin American railway, it proposes a possible path coming from Patagonia, passing through Rio de Janeiro and southwestern Brazil, entering Brazilian Peru and Brazilian Colombia then reaching Colombian West coast and separating in three arms ( like the Colombian mountain system) one going to Panama another one going to Caracas and another one returning and entering northern brazil
  • UK: We declare war on Turkey. Also, we begin work on nuke tech and ask for a military alliance with the US.
    • What ... the ... hell ... You do realize Turkey was on the ALLIES? And they were NEUTRAL until 1945. And you do realize you have a rebellion on at Arabia ...
    • Turkey is invading French Syria and France is part of the allies.
  • USSR: The Soviet Union declares war on Germany and launches a surprise invasion of German Poland and Lithuania. The surprise attack caught the German forces in the region off guard and were heavily devastated by the mass number of aircraft and tanks that rolled across the border. The Soviet Nuclear Program continues and is suspected to be finished in 1945.
    • The United States secretely asks the Soviets if they want to pool the nuclear programs to finish by next year.
    • The Soviet Union secretly agrees to the Americans offer.
  • Cuba: Action is taken when fascists in Cuba are linked to the Nazi agents in the United States. A raid occurs in a suspected Fascist meeting place in Santiago de Cuba. An investigation is under way, but several people are killed and many more are injured in the raid, causing sympathizers to speak their minds in Santiago de Cuba. Nobody is convicted this year.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. Meanwhile Surakiart Phathanothai translates his มังงะ (manga) into Japanese and releases it to Japan, where the title of the manga is renamed 地霊殿 (Chireiden) and Koishi Komeiji's name is unchanged, using her native Japanese name, 古明地 こいし. โทโฮจิเร็ยเด็น (Subterranean Animism) becomes popular in Northern Thailand.
  • Japan: Japanese forces are slowly relocated from Indonesia to China to help fight guerrilla movements, but some 50,000 troops are left to help maintain order. The fighting in China against the guerrillas is becoming a far more tedious one as communists are now the main problem that Japanese lead forces are dealing with. Thoughts about making peace with the Rump Chinese state are considered to focus on internal conflicts but it is decided to wait until the government can determine how much strength is needed to deal with resistence in occupied areas. The industrialization of the EATSP continues with Japanese funding. The navy continues expanding the navy focusing now on subs, and aircraft carriers. all research programs are continued and breakthroughs are made in the nuclear program with the estimations on its completion looking correct. Japan looking to increase its presence in East Asia more begins looking to provoking independence movements in the remaining european colonies but this will be taking up with fellow EATSP governments. More freedom of press is granted to the population.

Germany, shocked by the Soviet invasion, although it was expected, begins a hasty mobilization. The panzers and soldiers in France are immediately pulled out and sent to the Eastern front, to stop the advance of the Soviet bear.

  • Brazil:the armies Peru return to a well deserved rest while, this the remaining man of the Brazilian army initiate an invasion of Uruguay, and ask the Argentinians to prepare for a joint invasion of Bolivia, the army begins a long proccess of update and we ask Germany to help us in this campaign, the navy is as well updated to possible invasions through ocean, and an alliance is asked with Germany, Italy and Spain to mutual help in both Europe and South America, new policies are made to avoid any sort of population rise up allowing the populators to create their own sindicates and the freedom of speech and religion in the center of this law, Rio de Janeiro is modernized as the capital of a new nation, a greater Brazil
    • Argentina D: We will prepare our troops to invade Bolivia and we propose you support in Uruguay as we need a victorious war to increase the government support.
    • Brazil D: We thank your support in our conflict, we will make sure that if we win you gain land of territories we gain from the conflict, we also should begin the project of the Magna Via Latina (Great Latin Way) all through our territories.
    • Argentina D: we will begun to build our part of the railroad immediately.

  • In Italy, several radicals, advisors of Benito Mussolini, convince him that this sudden loss of trade with one of Italy's largest financial trade partner is going to be extremely damaging. They ask him to conduct a bomb raid. He refuses. On their own, they order a few planes reverse-engineered from Luftwaffe planes to fly a bomb raid over the US naval base in Newfoundland (on lease from Britain).
  • how does italy bomb newfoundand??
  • Korea: Korea continues to amp up their military, and another aircraft carrier is finished. They plan to have a total of three by 1950, and a possible six or seven by 1970. The Korean economy continues leaping forward, with the GDP rising by 7.2% this year.
  • KOREA has aircraft carriers?
  • Check my earlier posts.
  • UK: We declare war on Germany and invade its coastlines and take Hamburg from the unprepared German defenders and we ask the US for a military alliance.
    • More implausogasm deleted.
  • Soviet Union: Warsaw falls to the Soviet military with light casualties, and plans begin to launch an offensive into Hungary. As Warsaw falls, the Soviet Union establishes the Polish Democratic Republic, which includes Soviet Poland and the former German Poland (It has OTL borders of Poland). The Soviet Army liberates Lithuania and directly annexes the country into the Soviet Union. The Soviet Army is to halt at the pre-war borders of Germany, while a second military offensive is SECRETLY being planned against Turkey to push up through Turkey, cross the Mediterranean Sea, and invade Italy. With the pooling of rescoures between the USSR and United States, the development of a nuclear weapon is nearing the end.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. Surakiart Phathanothai makes โทโฮจิเร็ยเด็น (Subterranean Animism) into a series, and releases โทโฮจิเร็ยเด็น 2; this time โคเมย์จิ โคอิชิ (Koishi Komeiji) meets up with โทโยซาโตะมิมิ โนะ มิโกะ (Thoyosātoamimi noa Mikoa/Toyosatomimi no Miko) and both go off together, solving yet another mysterious crime in North-East Thailand.
  • Argentina: The army of Argentina is send in Uruguay to support the Brazillian. With the war in Europe uncertain, the government decide to to take a neutral stance and to focus on the local objectives. The aircraft carrier construction continue and is plan to be over next year. Uruguay is blockaded.
  • Japan: By mid-June fighting has gotten out of control against the guerrilla and the imperial forces while able to maintain control are suffering major casualties, the Japanese begin trying to increase the aid program for the reconstruction of the area to try and garner local support. A reporter who had visted China in the last few years wrote the memoirs of Yi Shang, a book he wrote about the war in China from the point of view of a Chinese communist he had been staying with it begins a major seller and anti-war protests begin in the capital and Oasaka. The government starts negotiating with the rump Chinese state but with little success so the next push is planned to be the last and if not....... it will have to be used once completed. The nuclear program continues to be pushed forward with large results.possibly finishing early in 1945 ahead of schedule. Industrialization continues throughout the EATSP with the largest recipent being Thailand and Indonesia whose oil industry is nearly repaired.
  • The United States continues its nuclear program. The first test is held in the Sonoran Desert, but it is a failure. More and more people go off to war on their own, but after the air raids done by Italy, who has lost all trade with the United States, the nation is outraged and the Congress votes unanimously for war against Italy and its allies. (We are not at war with Japan, to make this clear.) The United States, now in the war, takes up the Soviet request and sends troops to Germany to invade, as well as to France to defend the country.
  • Pardonez moi, M. Enclave, but see here: The Soviet got a lot of the research and knowledge they did OTL because scientists fleeing Germany fled to Russia, Germany's enemy. With Germany und Russia on ze same side, zen more scientist vould not go to Russia and vould go to Angland or Amerika. Shimple. ~ Alberght Eighnsteighn
  • Cuba: The fascists in Cuba continue to cause trouble, forcing Cuba to diligently search for these fascists. It becomes illegal to have anything to do with fascism besides fighting it. Arrests go up by 50% due to the extensive investigations. While effective, the invasive nature of the investigations is criticized.
  • Italy: Italy suggests a peace conference.

  • Korea: Korea continues to work on their interior, as well as their military. Their second aircraft carrier is finished, and they have no plans to create a third. The ROKS ‘’Goryeo’’ successfully launches Hellcat and dive-bomber raids against Chinese positions. More money is put into fighter development, as well as dive bombers. A small nuclear program is SECRETLY started.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. Surakiart Phathanothai makes and releases โทโฮจิเร็ยเด็น 3 at end of year; this time โคเมย์จิ โคอิชิ (Koishi Komeiji) and โทโยซาโตะมิมิ โนะ มิโกะ (Toyosatomimi no Miko) continue solving the mysterious crime in North-East Thailand but soon both get scared by ทาทาระ โอกาสะ (Xokās̄a Thāthāra/Kogasa Tatara) as she surprises them as they try to find the next clue; after the scare ทาทาระ โอกาสะ (Kogasa Tatara), help โคเมย์จิ โคอิชิ (Koishi Komeiji) and โทโยซาโตะมิมิ โนะ มิโกะ (Toyosatomimi no Miko) with the investigations.
  • Japan: The Japanese government is forced to accept that the only way to end the year they started seven years ago is through a final show of force and the largest push made since the start of the war is made with 8 million imperial soldiers pushing into Free China as the other 5,000,000 remain doing anti-guerrilla operations that are ever more brutal. A unanimous decision is made by the high command and the Diet with the approval of Emperor Hirohito to test the first nuclear bomb at the end of November and on the 28th of December the nation's first nuclear bomb was to be tested but it is a failure with the mechanism and the bomb is fails to work early and the bomb is quickly defused so not to explode, the entire test is hushed up and more work is put into the creation of the bomb, no mention is made in the papers. The repairs in Indonesia to the oil industry are fixed and the war machine is revitalized with a new oil supply completely under Japanese influence. The military continues research into all previous projects and continues to put forward designs for the armed forces including a new possible assault rifle that could eventually replace the semi-automatic rifle, and a new armored personal carrier which is put to use at once on the mainland to carry troops from one area to another as quickly as possible, trainlines are planned to be layed down to connect all EATSP areas to increase efficiency - both military and economic-wise. More protests to the war in China begin to grow despite the amount of benefits Japan is reaping out of its occupation of vast areas and resources. Plans to annex outright the provinces of Fujian, the eastern half of Guangdong, Zhejiang and shanghai into the greater Japanese empire as territories similar to the Japanese territory of Tonkin in Indochina, while Inner Mongolia will be ceded to Manchuria, the rest will be turned into a series of puppet states and western China will be left to its own since occupation of all of China would be impossible.
  • Would take 10-15 years minimum, not seven. They didn’t have all those scientists that the US did. And without the war, there really would have not been a “pressing need” to make a nuke. I say wait till 1950. Also, even if the Chinese surrender, you can't occupy more than you already have.
  • I never said I'd occupy all of China. I only wanted minimal territory gains in China - the areas stated above. I just want to end the war as quickly as possible, and pacify Japan's greatest enemy. Also, all right, I rewrote the nuclear thing so that it will take until 1948 (sound fair?)
    • All right, 1948 sounds okay. How about 1948.5?
    • Deal. Also you forgot to make Tonkin in northern Vietnam a Japanese territory. After I'll post a map of what post-war China will look like with the puppet states so that it can be posted in the game map and you forgot to add the territories that were ceded to Siam in the independence of Indochina they were posted in the previous turns. • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union in a desperate measure to gain an advantage over Germany, detonates its first nuclear weapon in the Siberian Tundra. The success of the weapon is due to the studying of the failure of the American detonation, and fix any problems that might appear in the Soviet's weapon. The trans-Latin America railroads continue to be build and great progres are made in the north while the rails in Pantagonia are build at a lower rate. The construction of highway and road to improve the mobility of both the civilian and the military continue, the poverty is virtually wipe out with those public project which are also a great propaganda.
  • UK: we declare war on germany and begin to liberate Belgium and the Netherlands we also ask the USA for a military alliance and asks them help in the liberation of Belgium and the Netherlands.

The Soviet Government offers the Germans to come to the negotiating table or else. Meanwhile, the Soviet Army faces tough resistance in Germany, and is bogged down along the border. Research into rockets and radar continues.
  • Bombing all those German cities will spread radiation so far, all of Europe will be effected and even North Africa and Turkey. Take two of four, not four.
  • I know. I mean I building four of them, but plan to use two of them. And the four cities are my proposed targets.
  • The US tests its third nuclear weapon (second was last year, wasn't able to post) and prepares to drop one in Germany. It tells the Soviets, that whichever city they bomb, they should not attack Berlin. It will cause the deaths of too many civilians. America selects the island of Sicily as its targets. Troops invading Italy from the South capture a fleeing Mussolini. He is shipped far away to a secret location until he can be tried. America pushes into Europe from the BeNeLux and Southern Italy.
  • Japan: The Japanese high command begins increasing their operations in western China as the war becomes increasingly brutal, the ceasefire offered to China was once again refused and the Japanese high command desperate to break the Chinese fighting spirit authorize the usage of chemical artillery shells and napalm bombs which cause massive terror across the war zone. Protests continue to grow in the homeland and the government is forced to start dispatching military units to the streets to keep public order, promises that once the Chinese surrender the nation will return to stability. Information on the war is leaked to the press describing brutality towards Chinese in concentration in an attempt to beat them into obedience the government is forced to start an investigation into the matter and censor the press, popularity for the liberals grow again despite their starting the war due to their greater allowance of freedom of speech. The nuclear program continues and the Japanese wish to finish it as soon as possible even considering using a defunctional bomb in China to end the war before one of the other major powers join the war, Japanese fears mainly aimed at possible Soviet involvement. The radar project is completed and its addition to the naval and air forces begin, rocket technology continues to be researched. The military base in Indonesia is completed to help maintain stability in the region.

The road and railroads continue to be build across the territory, more people began to own cars. A landing craft begun to be develop.

A Chinese insurgency springs up, using guerrilla tactics and hit-and-run to harass occupying Japanese and Siamese troops.

There is a huge earthquake in Tokyo, Japan measuring 8.9 on the Richter scale. Hundreds of thousands are dead, with many more dying. Hospitals are overwhelmed by the sheer amount of wounded and dead.

The Korean Prime Minister is shot by a Chinese terrorist in the head. He dies two hours later.

The British continue to carve into Belgium with their army group, headed by General Montgomery. However, he advances at a snail's pace. US forces also make it to the German border, and the former Siegfried line. German units continue to retreat to the west, and Allied units are also given orders to allow German units to escape to fight the Russians.

  • Korea: Korea creates the Korean Central Intelligence Agency, or the KCIA. It is given much power, much more than the OTL CIA of the 21st century. The KCIA begins to train its officers. Also, the Republic of Korea Special Operations Command is created, as well as the 1st SOG, or Special Operations Group. They are the equivalent of SAS, and get much more training than the average soldier. They also offer their condolences to the Japanese and offer to send aid. The new Prime Minister also vows to avenge the death of their old one.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: Japanese radar technology is shared with Korea as are all recent developments in the nuclear program. Japan requests large amounts of Uranium for its program in exchange.
    • Korean Diplomacy: Korea accepts, and begins shipments of Uranium right away.
  • Japan: Taking an interest in the recent Korean creation of special forces the Japanese high command authorizes the creation of the Imperial Speacial Reaction Forces, one for the navy and another the army, each to be deployed by the air forces. The usage of armored carriers increases and so does anti-insurgency operation in occupied China leading to larger casualties on the Chinese side. usage of chemical shells and napalm increase greatly terrorising the Free Chinese forces and it becomes mandatory for all imperial forces to use gas masks and it is suggested that other members of the EATSP follow suit. The nuclear program is increased extensively to try to finish the Japanese nuke. More war stories are written by reporters and now veterans returning home leading to the truths of the mainland becoming extensively widespread amongst the Japanese populace. The brutality of the concentration camps and the mass executions of partisans become the main topics of the anti-war movement which include now about 30% of the imperial populace along with the cost of Japanese lives the war is taking. Only 20 or 30 % of the populace support the war now while rest remain indifferent. widespread crackdowns begin to keep the nation in order. China is once again offered a cease fire. The territories stated in previous turns are annexed into the Empire of Japan. The navy continues to be expanded and modernized and more planes are supplied to the navy.

The Siamese military in China begins to fight back, and harassing the Chinese resistance too.
  • UK: we continue to liberate Europe from Germany we also bypass the Siegfried Line and we push into Germany.
  • Brazil: After taking part of Uruguay starts a military project to rebuild the military. The fleet grows and prepares for any intrusion from other nations, and the building of the Magna via starts in southern Brazil. Military continues to grow in Brazilian Peruvian terrains as much as Brazilian Colombia.
  • The US contemplates dropping a bomb on Brazil, although this is secret. Meanwhile, a border war starts with Mexico and the Mexicans attack Texas, but the Americans repel them to the border and push them across the Rio Grande, capturing the Rio Grande states. Another bomb is tested. War continues, as obvious.
  • WTF you dropping a bomb against a nation that has not attacked you, and invasion of Mexico? IDK, but I doubt that the Isolationist Americans would fight for nothing more than a desert in Northern Mexico and drop a bomb against a nation that hasn't attacked nor aided your enemies. That would fail. It says Germany is a threat and a social enemy but Brazil is not and neither is Mexico Sine dei gloriem (talk) 00:26, October 5, 2012 (UTC)
  • Turkey: The massacre of the Turkish army in Syria has led to the government's demand for a complete withdrawal in that area, and the fortification of Turkish lands. Prime Minister Khuang Abhaiwongse begins his plans by having women right to vote and right to participate in politics. He plans to give women more and more rights during his term.
  • Japan: Rescue and reconstruction efforts begin immediately in Tokyo. The city is devastated. Luckily the damage is fixable but will take several years to restore. The government, however, remained untouched and it is able to reorganize quickly. The earthquake - while a tragedy - allows the protests that were building up across Japan to temporarily dissipate as the entire nation is lamenting the loss of life in Japan. The nuclear program is luckily unaffected since it is based in Hiroshima, and continues as before with increased pressure. The Japanese war effort is unaffected by the events in the mainland though they lament the loss, and the brutal push to break China continues. Heavy usage of napalm bombs begin and entire areas of the Chinese countryside and cities are absorbed in fire. Despite the recent brutality the rape of the populace is still strictly forbidden and anyone caught raping is shot on the spot. The research into rockets continues and is starting to reach completion. Japan, seeing the Netherlands return, gives a warning to the western nation that Indonesia is an independent state now and should Holland try to retake it, it will come into conflict with Japan. The I.S.R.F. are dispatched to begin anti-guerrilla operations that are considered secret, including the assassination of Chinese notables, sabotage and just simply extermination missions, where they are sent to clean out Chinese pockets in occupied territory. The first Japanese assault rifle is created; it is called the Arisawa 46 - an automatic version of the type 99 based on the M1 Garand mechanism with some adjustments to allow it to fire automatically. Distribution begins at once throughout the armed forces. Industrialization of the puppet states continues and training of their national forces begins to allow the eventual withdrawal of Japanese troops. The current generation has mostly forgotten about the past with Japan, and is willing to accept cooperation with Japan. The cities also continue to become bigger, while the rural areas decrease. Environmental groups begin to form over the strip mining of the mountains, as well as the cutting down of forests. They are, however, mostly ignored.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. Surakiart Phathanothai begins writing โทโฮจิเร็ยเด็น 5, final manga in the series, and also sets aside some plans for a new manga series, which will also have Koishi, Kogasa and Miko as main characters. Prime Minister Khuang Abhaiwongse continues giving women more rights as well.
  • Japan: The Imperial forces continue to fight the Chinese army and the guerrillas using the recent firearms and armor to establish a decisive advantage over them but the Japanese war effort is beginning to take its toll on the Japanese soldiers who have been fighting for almost a decade now with no end in sight. The high command, now seeing this along with the rising protests in the homeland, decides that desperate measures must be taken. On the 12th of September the largest bombing campaign in Asian history is carried out dropping from napalm and chemical bombs to regular bombs creating as much destruction and terror as possible across China. The death toll from the bombing campaign is off the charts and once the bombing ends on October 7th the Japanese forces move in to exterminate all who so much as look at the Japanese aggressively. The Japanese offer a final peace offer demanding complete surrender or face more of these attacks. The high command plans to use a nuke once it is prepared if the Chinese do not surrender. All Japanese forces are ordered to expand the brutal operations throughout occupied China. This is followed by distribution of food to those who cooperate and submit to the Japanese. Industrialization continues. While rumors spread of the recent operations in China the government retains a strict censorship on all media and thankfully the Japanese populace is still lamenting the recent earthquake in Tokyo where the government is putting efforts towards the rescue and rebuilding missions that continue. Research into nukes continues and is nearing the final phase of the project. Rockets are researched more and the research should be finished by late 1948.

It feels that the conflicts in Europe should end, while Argentina is offered aid into taking again Chilean terrain.
    • Argentina D: We accept the support offer, we will invade next year.
  • Soviet Union: After months of heavy combat and death toll on both sides, Berlin finally falls to the Red Army and Adolf Hitler is found dead inside a bunker. With the fall of Berlin, the Soviet military redirects efforts on Turkey and sends military support to the Persians. Back in Europe, Soviet and German delegates meet in Warsaw to sign a ceasefire. The proposal to the ceasefire and surrender of Germany is:
    1. Occupation of Germany between the United States, France, the United Kingdom, and Soviet Union.
    2. Division of Berlin into four allied sectors.
    3. Transfer of East Prussia to Poland.
    4. Independence of the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
    5. Trial of Nazis officials in Nuremberg.
  • Argentina: The military is preparing for the war against Chile. For this purpose, the roads built near the Chilean border are ordered to be ready for next year. Many military bases are built across the border with Chile and Bolivia. The second carrier continues to be built and the research to develop a good submarine continue as well. Support is also sent to Brazil in order to make the war industry roll faster. Argentina has also begun to research a jet engine. After that the new plane to serve on the carrier is completed.

  • Korea: Korea continues to condemn the Turkish invasion. Korea also continues to amp up their military and interior, and also continues to work together heavily with the Japanese. Environmentalist concerns again surface, and are again beaten down. The 1st SOG also continues training, as does the KCIA.
  • Japan: the I.S.R.F. begins increasing its operations and large scale military crackdown on Chinese resistance continues. Request is made for Korea and Siam to amp their involvement in China and help fight until 1948 when the bomb will be ready. Mass scaled production of the latest weapons continues giving Japan a major advantage in the east, weapons are also sold to fellow EATSP members. The military industry is beginning to bring up the other industrial sectors. Research into nuclear arms continues.
  • Turkey: The government orders a halt to the invasion of Persia and orders the strengthening of the armies in Greece. A delegation is sent to the Soviet Union to discuss a non-aggression pact, as well as to see the cause of their sudden turn against the Turkish people who thought of the Soviets as allies. The navy continues undergoing expansion, and a second aircraft carrier is developed, the TNS Osman, which is stationed in the Black Sea along with the 4th Turkish Fleet.
    • Soviet D: We accept the non-aggression pact.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union occupies most of Eastern Germany and begins to push deeper into Western Germany and towards the Rhine. Manufacturing of nuclear weapons continues and development of a bomber continues. Research into radar, jet engines and rocketry begins or continues. Development of an assault rifle begins. The Soviet Union moves a battleship into the Black Sea from Sevastopol - or whatever that port is called.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: Japan requests that the EATSP take part in the peace talks to ensure the independence of the members of the EATSP - mainly Indochina and Indonesia which are former European colonies. Japan wishes that the allies accept their independence and make sure that neither Holland nor France try to retake their colonies (Indochina was a purchased territory on top of that).
  • That's the name. :P ((ლ(() (ಠ益ಠ) ((ლ(() 00:24, October 8, 2012 (UTC)
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. Surakiart Phathanothai continues writing โทโฮจิเร็ยเด็น 5. Prime Minister Khuang Abhaiwongse continues giving women more rights as well and steps up involvement in China.
  • Argentina: The invasion of Chile is prepared as the roads to facilitate supply transportation are almost complete. The Trans-Latin American railroad continues to be built; most of the populated area is linked and the construction toward Brazil and Patagonia continues. The second carrier enters into its last year of construction. The research to develop a jet engine continues with lots of funds put in. A new oil policy advantaging Brazil and Venezuela is passed by the government, which however, continues to supply the rest of the world. Argentina proposes to the EATSP to trade oil with its members as with we Latin American confederation and you have somehow an anti-colonisalism vision.
  • In the United States, President Henry A. Wallace declares a state of total war against the Axis powers. With the war with Mexico in full speed already, more tanks begin to pour in across the southern border in retaliation for Mexico attempting to regain their lost land. Some aircraft carriers are sent across the Atlantic for the first time. America holds a nuclear bomb over Italy if it tries anything funny. American troops invade southern Italy from Naples. America supports the Soviet treaty, but says that more impositions should be placed on other Axis Powers. A full treaty is proposed on the talk page. The United States also tells the South American fascists that they should stop their conquests of innocent nations unless they want the Allies to intervene on their continent.
    • Japanese Diplomacy: Japan requests that the EATSP take part in the peace talks to ensure the independence of the members of the EATSP - mainly Indochina and Indonesia which are former European colonies. Japan wishes that the allies accept their independence and make sure that neither Holland or France try to retake their colonies (Indochina was a purchased territory on top of that).
    • Argenina D: the United States acquired territories through conquest as well, so let's just make a non-aggression pact between the members of the confederation and America. We propose a treaty to America which guarantees that we will not leave our continent and that every conquered people will be treated as equal citizens. And again, we would be glad to trade with the allies if the treaty is accepted. We could also be an ally of the west in the coming cold war. (I think that one is prepared).
  • UK: takes most of western Germany and three prototype bases in the Ruhr Valley and takes three V2 rockets. (An algorithm would be great on this).
  • Brazil: To respond to the USA, the President Getulio Vargas says just one thing, DON'T BE HYPOCRITES! You attack Mexico without real threat for them and order us to cease our attacks on Peru and other nations. That's a hypocritical and really stupid way, as well as there is no real threat from us, and we will not be enemies to you. Our purpose is to bring South America under three major powers, but without intention to go any farther than South America or impose ourselves on America. We just want control over a certain area and to live peacefully and with justice to our people. If you don't respect that, you are worse than the Nazis you hate. The military continues growing and The third war against Peru continues raging on the border and the Navy increases its presence. Brazil continues its invasion over the Suriname territories of the Netherlands. The US is asked of a non-aggression pact, and Getulio Vargas decides to give more democracy in the hierarchy of the nations starting with a Presidential election next year, by the end of the year.
    • You're an idiot. MEXICO '''INVADED the United States. You're invading for invading. No one needs "three major powers" on a continent, and Brazil cannot control these other lands why? Brazil is '''PORTUGUESE''' and everything else is SPANISH.
    • Oh you are still a hypocrite. Mexico didn't declare war against you, and yet you invaded them, and began your own idea. You should not own Louisiana nor CaSoclifornia or Texas because the population before 1840 was Hispanic, or you should earn then any land of Mexico, because They are Spanish, and Thus it could not Mix with the English, something that I can, with the Portuguese they can, why?, BECAUSE THEY HAVE 89% of similarities, with English let that be maybe 50% at tops. If Mexico didn't become a threat toward you, you should have not Invaded them, and even if they have, YOU WERE ISOLATIONIST. People didn't want or wanted go to war, YOU DID, JUST FOR THE SAME PURPOSE AS I DID, LAND! ALSO THEY DIDN'T INVADE YOU. THEY INVADED BELIZE AND THE OTHER SMALL CENTRAL AMERICAN COUNTRIES, so either don't enter anyone else business without reason or don't Talk, OK?
      • ?????????????? >.> What the damn hell are you talking about? Look at the old years. Mexico invaded Central America and the United States to get Texas and Alta California. And Louisiana was French, and Texas was majority white when it was annexed, and the Alta Californian WANTED to be annexed. Read a freaking history book and then come back to rant for a nation unrelated to you. And who are you? I hate addressing anonymous people. Besides, even if they didn't invade, they're attacking my allies and it is an Axis nation and I am in the Allies and attacking Axis. Wise up a little. (You're not Dean, are you? If not, I apologize for asking.)
      • I know Louisiana was French, though they were during a small period under Spanish control but using your sense of expansionism, Louisiana wouldn't entirely join America, neither the Midwest, due to Indian population, and I know about history, but I tend to express myself incorrectly, also, my point is that you just decided to attack Mexico as an excuse to attack the Axis, because Mexico didn't attack you. It attacked Guatemala and Honduras, you just used it as excuse to fight the Axis and to gain Baja California. Also, Louisiana is American I believe it. Maybe Texas, due to major American settling but California its doubtful. The only reason Mexico lost them was because they wanted independence and then saw that America was their best choice to last. Also, sorry for the Capitals, I looked and the only posts of California and Texas are yours, Scraw. They didn't directly attack you. That was the thesis for my response, and you were not in the war before that. You said to Russia, I'll join if Mexico attacks me. Mexico didn't but it was threatening so you did and then you joined the war. Also, I'm Sine.
    • Louisiana was French. Enclavehunter (talk) 01:27, October 10, 2012 (UTC)

  • Korea: Korea continues to condemn the Turkish invasion. Korea also continues to amp up their military and interior, and also continues to work together heavily with the Japanese. Environmental concerns again surface, and are again beaten down. The 1st SOG also continues training, as does the KCIA. The two aircraft carriers are now split up, in the Yellow Sea and East Sea. Work continues on the nuclear project.
  • Argentina: The date of the invasion of Chile is changed and six additional months of preparation are made. The United States are asked if they accept the previous treaty. The construction of the railroad continues and is planned to be over in three years in which it will be an easy thing to travel across the country, the number of cars grows. The healthcare budget is slightly increased to improve the hospitals and find a cure for the local diseases. The second carrier also leave the shipyards and another is prepared but not launched.
  • Japan: Another experiment is carried out but it is deemed not ready yet so the project continues. Mass bombing of the already pulverised Chinese cities continues to break the remaining fighting spirit of the Chinese. After the bombing the troops come in and butcher any that resist. The death toll of the war in China at this point reaches 15,000,000. Most are Chinese casualties. The recovery of Tokyo continues but it is mainly reconstruction at this point, the anti-war protests restart in all major cities. The Indonesian troops are requested to aid in the war in China along with the troops of Manchuria, to deal with guerrilla forces. A book is written by a war veteran. It is a book about the crimes he committed in China over the past four years including the butchering of civilians, the extensive forced labour campaigns and the recent clean up missions in the mainland. The book is banned in Japan. industrialization continues and an extensive railroad begins to be constructed from the Japanese territory of Tonkin to Harbin in Manchuria.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges continue construction. Surakiart Phathanothai releases โทโฮจิเร็ยเด็น 5. Koishi, Kogasa and Miko go off on another investigation for some strange disappearance of a criminal car vanishing; they go to find clues as to how this could be, eventually finding out they used special magic tricks to do it. In the end the suspect car is recovered and criminals go to jail. Prime Minister Khuang Abhaiwongse continues giving women more rights as well.
  • UK: with nuclear knowlege gained from German prototype bases we continue the German project under British control. We also send a nuclear V2 rocket that hits Ankara, Turkey and we retake Saudi Arabia.
    • Quick thing - I know I'm not a mod but you haven't researched nukes whatsoever, and now you drop one out of nowhere. Come on! That's highly improbable, even with German research it's impossible since the Germans were not even at the experiment level yet. Also you're retaking far too quickly, I think, but again I'm not a mod so ignore me if you feel like it. Nkbeeching
    • NK is right--and one more implausible move, you get banned. As if everything you've posted so far is plausible. I was kind enough to let it slide.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union occupies East Germany and forms the German Democratic Republic and allows it to join the Warsaw Pact. The Soviet Army continues its research into rockets and radar. The Soviet High Command continues with research into a jet engine, while the Soviet Army begins to develop a better tank with slanted armour and the ammunition located in the back of the tank.

  • Korea: Korea continues to improve their interior, as well as their military. The 1st SOG sees action for the first time in China, being deployed to assassinate a high member of the Chinese resistance. It is a great success, with over 17 enemy combatants, including the target, killed with no casualties on the Korean side. The economy continues to improve, with the GDP increasing by 4.2% this year, 3% less than last year. The huge economic growth starts to level off with the modernization of the nation. The Seoul Stock Exchange is opened, where citizens for the first time invest in stocks. The Myrae Corporation is also created - Myrae meaning “future” in Korean. They begin the production of cars and open three factories. They also begin to sell grain and rice. Women’s rights also begin to surface, with the creation of the Bureau for Women’s Suffrage. They are not taken seriously at first, as women are considered people who cook, clean and make babies. However, this movement gains popularity, as well as strength. The Parliament, however, refuses to discuss the issue. A new political party is also formed, called the National Socialist Party. They gain three seats in the Parliament.
  • Japan: the I.S.R.F. begins increasing its operations in China and acts in a far more open way then before. They begin expanding the sweeping missions, completely exterminating guerrilla pockets - sparing no one. A new idea of a data storage device for more efficient adminstration of the army and the state, the Diet authorizes the research into this idea, is started in Osaka, (the first computer, the first one was made by the USA before the end of WW-II, don't forget). The nuclear and rocket programs are near completion and the plan to drop a nuclear weapon and exterminate two of the concentration camps in the next seven months are made as a final measure to break the already weak Chinese morale. The railroad from Tonkin to Harbin continues construction using forced labour from the Chinese POW's. The Government declares that the war is nearly over and soon all will be right. The bombing campaigns on the mainland are intensified. Seeing the opportunity to gain a new market, Japan begins supplying firearms to Chile to get a new flow of cash along with supplying weapons to nationalist groups in East Asia. Admiral Yamamato joins the Liberal coalition as a celebrated war veteran. industrialization continues and much of the new businesses growing in East Asia are dominated by the Japanese Zaibatsu.
  • Italy: Mussolini is killed, and the army establishes elections, turning Italy into the Imperial Italian Federation composed of Italy, Libya, Somalia, and Eritrea. The French are asked for a trade deal while all Communist parties are disbanded and arrested. Communists begin to be cracked down on to make sure Italy stays out of the Soviet block. Italy asks the United States for an alliance. The Axis's nuclear bomb research is continued as the Caesar Project, and it continues secretly in Libya under Italian supervision. Military buildup continues.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Meanwhile, few bridges finish construction. Surakiart Phathanothai begins to write new series, โทโฮไคคิดัน (Mystic Square). Prime Minister Khuang Abhaiwongse continues giving women more rights as well.
  • Argentina: begins to secretly give asylum to the remaining Nazis who can reach our land. The invasion of Chile preparations continue. The USA is offered a deal in which the Americans may not interfere in the region in exchange for respect of the conquered peoples, no expansion outside of South America and finally, support against the communists.

  • Korea: Korea continues to build up their military, as well as their infrastructure and economy. The stock market is a booming success, as is the Myrae Corporation. Cars start appearing on the streets for wealthy people, although within a few years they will be mass produced and common. Strip mining also starts in the northern mountains, where high deposits of coal, iron, gold and other minerals are discovered. Korea continues its nuclear program, receiving a little aid from Japan.
  • Siam: Military continues being built up. Surakiart Phathanothai continues to write new series, โทโฮไคคิดัน (Mystic Square), with first issue coming out next year. Prime Minister Khuang Abhaiwongse continues giving women more rights as well. In a few Northern Thailand provinces women begin being elected as governors.
  • Japan: On the 20th of August the Japanese nuclear program is completed and the High Command Votes in Favor of Operation Golden Sun. On the 3rd of September the City of Yinchuan is engulfed within a few seconds and East Asia wakes to a brilliant Light and a giant mushroom cloud that appears afterward. 550,000 Chinese lose their lives in the blink of an eye. This is followed by the massacre of Camp Wuhan, and Camp Xiaman, killing a further 400,000 Chinese civilians. The dropping of Japan's first Nuclear bomb and the massacres are widely publicized across occupied China silencing in a single moment all resistance to the Japanese occupation. The Chinese forces are in Shambles and the Japanese Forces take advantage to push up to Baotou adding the regions to the occupation zone. China is offered a final ceasefire under the condition of renouncing all occupied territories and demilitarizing completely (I'll leave it up to you, Pita, whether or not China surrenders but I think it's obvious at this point that the war is over.) .The Diet publishes the nuclear bombing and all of Japan is stunned at creation of a nuclear bomb by their own government. The Japanese government takes advantage of it to state that Japan has finally achieved its ultimate dream, a place on the world stage equal to that of the western powers. Almost all protests against the government cease out of fear after hearing of the massacres on the mainland. The Japanese Industry is increased a lot by a more stable social situation. Research into rockets is completed and the first rocket is to be tested next year. Meanwhile, the research into computers continues. The assault rifle proves to be very efficient but the Japanese model has several setbacks such as its mechanism and its 15 bullet limit so designs for a new and more improved model are put forth. The Rail Line between Mukden and Tonkin continues being constructed. Industry in the other EATSP is expanded again with Indonesia and Manchuria being the largest benefactors thanks to their large economic importance. All companies are a mix of Local ownership and Zaibatsu control. The Zaibatsu are the largest companies in East Asia at the moment, and once again they begin backing the Liberal Faction for the next election. More funds are sent to Siam and Korea to help their local industries and bring them up to Japanese standards.
  • I vote on Chinese surrender. NK, congrats on creating the most successful Japan in all the AvA games. ~ Scraw
  • Thank you Scraw. plus im the only Japan player that has retained the monarchy XD. Nkbeeching
  • Argentina: is shocked to see Japan's new weapon and in fear that America might develop this weapon. The air force number of planes is to be increased, a third carrier also begin being built. The government begins to think about developing this weapon but no steps are taken for now (Can I? The point is that Brazil has 5% of the Uranium supplies.) Chile is invaded once again. After that, the government told Chile to stop the atrocities against the occupied territory. Pamphlets are also launched by bombers on the Chilean city to promote a greater Latin America. Research on helicopters begins to increase the mobility of the military and transport, the newly built roads show great effect and mobility is better.
  • Dude, America built the nuke in 1944. America accepts Argentina's deal only if the South Americans promise not to aid the Axis anymore, and America will help from time to time.
    • Argentina Dip: We accept to not support the Axis and the offer is sent to Brazil to conclude the treaty.
    • Brazil Dip: We accept Argentina's deal. We will give no support to the Axis members as originally planned by Getulio Vargas.
  • Soviet Union: The Soviet Union and its Warsaw Pact allies form a closer relationship. Research continues on radar, rocketry and helicopters. Manufacturing of nuclear weapons continues. The Soviet High Command develops an assault rifle, but the names haven't been released yet.
  • The United States completes the third of its new nukes. America decides to drop one on............Italy! Italy is told to get out of the Axis and surrender to the Allies and the Allied treaty and Italy will spared of the bomb. America stops invading Mexico but occupies the nation (after all, we won) and demands that Mexico withdraw from Central America and give up their conquered lands. America also asks for payment or territory as punishment. America also fears a standoff with Russia and Japan after the War ends. (So yeah, the Cold War is here. America vs. Russia vs. Japan. We know that communism will make the Soviets fall, so 21st Century, get ready to see the East-West Cold War! Asians vs. Americans (and their European puppets; looking at you, England). Let the games begin!)
    • Dude, Mussolini was overthrown last year.
    • I asked for a ceasefire like five years ago, too. Also, nuking me is totally ASB and would draw a huge international crowd.
