The 1905 Victorian Football Association season was the 29th season of the Australian rules football competition. This season, it was the first to enforce a two division system which had promotion and relegation.
The Division 1 premiership was won by the Melbourne Football Club after they defeated Fitzory in the challenge final by 18 points on the 7 October. It was Melbourne's first VFA premiership. The inaugural division 2 premiership was won by Port Melbourne as this was their second overall title.
