Discussion[]

I assumed Iberia would send equal portions of their maximum forces to each battle. Of course, if Iberia would actually send less to each battle, the margin of victory would be larger. A mod can look over this to see if I did anything wrong. I'm very unsure how the victory score works in the new algo, as it is never mentioned in the rules. If this was done with the old algo, the same percentage would have been gotten with drastically fewer forces on the part of the Caliphate. If I did mess up the victory score, I'll stretch out the fighting a few years to compensate Oh, I didn't mean to push that button!Oh, well leave a message I guess 04:59, November 28, 2016 (UTC)

Discussion[]

I would think Iberia would abandon the defense of Morocco, and centrate its forces first on Portugal, then try to fend off France's attack. Speaking of, shouldn't France get a mountain penalty? I am that guy (talk) 01:21, December 3, 2016 (UTC)

Since Iberia is npc I just split the forces in thirds unless another mod can double-check. According to Feud, the mountain penalty only applies after the battle on the crossing, which is why I added the casualties 6% (for decisive victory) + 15% (mountains) = 21% for both France and Portugal. Oh, I didn't mean to push that button!Oh, well leave a message I guess 14:28, December 3, 2016 (UTC)

That just gets to a problem where dividing forces three ways is implausible. Why allow an enemy crushing superiority on three front when you can concentrate your forces, and have numerical superiority over at least one of them? I am that guy (talk) 17:14, December 3, 2016 (UTC)

Well, if Iberia splits the forces evenly that is also a bit ASB because most of the Spanish troops are in Spain and getting to Fes in Morocco across the sea takes time and ships in which the battle would be underway by then so you would assume that the forces native to Morocco (i.e. the population of Morocco multiplied by the maximum troop allowance) would be the forces in Spain and then you would divide forces. For the division of forces between France and Portugal well it is complicated neither is an immediate threat to the Spanish capital since both are blocked by mountain ranges and rivers and distance and Barcelona and Seville are both of reasonable importance in themselves to Spain while Seville is harder to defend with only a river (which was ignored) but Portugal has less troops (how do they get 40,000 troops with a population of two million?) while Barcelona is easy to defend but the French have a rather large army. I would do a 50/50 split of Spanish troops between the two but that is an opinion subject to other suggestions. Barcelona is properly surrounded by mountains, the only way past these mountains is two narrow passes which have rivers cutting across the centre of both of them, rather than a siege the Spanish troops may find it more advantageous to try and confront the French troops in which ever pass they go through and the passes narrowest is basically outside of Spain and have rivers cutting them in half. There is going to be some significant mountain penalty for going through those passes. Person67 (talk) 17:58, December 3, 2016 (UTC)

Can the Sultanate of Bengal and the Ahom kingdom join China in the Invasion of Tibet? Religions rise and fall, empires crumble into dust, but the works of science are for all time.
