Ægyptia is a nation bordering the Roman Empire on the West, Darfu, Yam, and Nubia to the South, and Yerush, Himyar, and Parsa to the East. It is the leading member of Concilium Africa. It is a staunch theocracy run by a corrupt but clever and able Cult, and a powerful Pharaoh. Pharaoh Luxanthor IV Ramephet is very powerful. Ægyptia is now a staunch enemy of the Roman Empire. The Romans feel that they are the only thing preventing the Pharaoh from having world hegemony.

AEgyptia is really run by a state created Caste system (that first came into existence around 300 A.D.) that was in fact a African version of the (now Outlawed) Parsan caste system (itself based off of the Hindu one). At the top, are the Ramonins (15% of the population), the priests who elect a Pharaoh from the many members of the Royal family. Next (and in some ways of equal power) is the military Horusanan caste, who fill the ranks of Generals as well as the Military Bureaucracy who govern if the Pharaoh is a child or a horrible ruler. All other castes are forbidden in government.

Historically, AEgyptia had culture the same as OTL. In the last century, however, AEgyptia has taken a more Africanized official culture. This is a method to differentiate itself from Parsa (and other Middle Eastern countries). Many African words, gods, and ideas have influenced mainstream AEgyptian cultures. This effect has increased with the formation of the Concilium Africa.
